<p><span style="color:#008000;">Qualche settimana fa<a href="http://deliziando.blogspot.com"><span style="color:#00ccff;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;"> Sweetcook</span></span></a> mi aveva invitata a partecipare al Meme della consolzione (non me ne ero dimenticata Sweet!!!) ,e mi scuso subito con lei se partecipo con quasi 1 mese di ritardo,ma tra la connessione ballerina ed altre cose,non sono riuscita a pubblicarlo prima.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Questo Meme consiste nel postare un piatto che ci tira sù di morale quando siamo giù,tristi,malinconici,di cattivo umore...insomma quando abbiamo quelle giorante "no"!</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Mi sono messa a pensare,e da golosa quale sono,mi è venuto un mente un dolce fresco ed estivo,che fa venir voglia di caldo,di mare e d'estate (che quest'anno non vuole arrivare),ed ho preparato il <span style="text-decoration:underline;"><span style="color:#00ccff;">Tiramisù alla frutta</span></span>.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Cosa c'è di meglio di un bel bicchiere ricco di panna,mascarpone e frutta (aggiungiamo anche le calorie :-) ) ??? Vi assicuro che tira sù il morale  e scaccia via i cattivi pensieri!</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Con questo post,vi auguro anche buon week end perchè oggi parto per la montagna e starò via fino a domenica,quindi mi scuso se non mi farò viva per qualche giorno,ma ci risentiamo lunedì!;-)</span></p>

<p><span style="color:#008000;"><span style="color:#00ccff;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">TIRAMISU' ALLA FRUTTA</span></span></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#00ccff;">Tempo di preparazione : mezzoretta</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#00ccff;">Ingredienti (per 4/5 bicchieri)</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">450 gr di mascarpone</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">250 ml di panna fresca</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">4 uova</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">3/4 cucchiai di zucchero</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">frutta fresca a piacere (io ho usato fragole,albicocche,ananas,banane,e kiwi)</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">pavesini (circa 3/4 bustine)</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">succo di frutta (ho usato il tropical)</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Dividete i tuorli dagli albumi,e in una ciotola mescolate insieme i tuorli e lo zucchero fino a quando avrete ottenuto un composto bello spumoso (potete anche usare la frusta elettrica).<br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Tagliate la frutta a pezzettini e lasciatela macerare per una ventina di minuti nel succo di frutta o nello zucchero (io l'ho messa nel succo di frutta).<br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Aggiungete piano piano il mascarpone alle uova ed allo zucchero mescolando in continuazione,montate la panna ed incorporatela alla crema mescolando bene.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Montante a neve ben ferma gli albumi,ed aggiungeteli poco per volta al composto,mescolando sempre piano piano.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Prendete dei bicchierini ed iniziate con gli strati:</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Fate un primo strato di crema,inzuppate i pavesini nel succo di frutta,metteteli sopra la crema ed aggiungete la frutta.Rimetette la crema e proseguite con il procedimento crema/pavesini/frutta fino a quando avrete riempito il bicchiere.<br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Fate un ultimo strato di crema e </span><span style="color:#008000;">se volete decorate con una salsa di fragole (frullate le fragole con dello zucchero) e con della frutta fresca tagliata a pezzettini!</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Lasciate riposare in frigorifero per qualche ora.</span></p>

<p><span style="color:#008000;">Dopo aver sfogliato Sale &#38; Pepe di Aprile (2008),e dopo essermi innamorata delle mousse di nasello,ieri ho provato a farla,e devo dire che è venuta proprio buona.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Oltretutto è</span> <span style="color:#008000;">anche un modo diverso per mangiare il pesce,e quale occasione migliore per utilizzare il mio timo che quest'anno mi fa inorgoglire parecchio???!</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">La ricetta è praticamente uguale a quella che trovate sul giornale,ho solo messo un pò più di pisellini,e forse un pò più di panna,ma per il resto è pari pari a quella originale,anche nel procedimento.</span></p>

<ul>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">350/400 gr di nasello (ho usato i cuori)</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">piselli lessati<br />
</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">4 cucchiai di panna da cucina</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">1 albume</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">sale e pepe</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">qualche rametto di timo</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">grani di pepe rosa<br />
</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Scongelate i filetti di nasello se li avete presi surgelati,frullateli (come vi dicevo io ho utilizzato i cuori),con quattro cucchiai di panna da cucina,l'albume il pepe ed il sale.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Mescolate bene il tutto,ed unite 4/5 cucchai di piselli lessati (la ricetta ne prevede 3,io ho abbondato).A questo punto versate il composto in dei bicchieri resistenti al calore e cuocete a vapore per 10/15 minuti.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Decorate con il timo ed i grani di  pepe rosa ed ecco fatto!</span></p>

<p><span style="color:#008000;">E' da qualche giorno che ho un mal di testa fastidiosissimo e che non s ne vuole andare.Nel week end non ho mangiato molto,perchè la testa mi faceva davvero impazzire...non so se sia dovuto al tempo,alla stanchezza o alla primavera (anche se sembra di essere a gennaio) ;-)<br />

<p><span style="color:#008000;">Ieri mi è passato un pò ed ho deciso di coccolarmi con qualcosa che mi piace molto,così ho pensato : " Cosa c'è di più buono di un bel piatto di pasta?"</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Ho preso quello che avevo in frigo (i formaggi non mancano mai),un pò della mia erba cipollina ,e mi sono messa all'opera,facendo una pasta che di solito a casa riscuote successo!</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Ecco come l'ho fatta...</span></p>

<p><span style="color:#00ccff;"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">SEDANINI CON CREMA DI FORMAGGI,PANCETTA AFFUMICATA ED ERBA CIPOLLINA<br />
</span></span></p>
<p><span style="color:#00ccff;">Tempo di preparazione : mezzoretta</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#00ccff;">Ingredienti</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">350 gr di sedanini rigati o un altro formato di pasta corta</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">80 gr di pancetta affumicata o speck</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">250 gr di groviera<br />
</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">120 di cheddar o pecorino romano<br />
</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">120 di parmigiano</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;"><span style="text-decoration:line-through;">400</span> 200 ml di panna da cucina</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">erba cipollina</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">1 spicchio d'aglio schiacciato (se non vi piace potete non metterlo)</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">olio extravergine d'oliva</span></li>
<li><span style="color:#008000;">sale e pepe q.b</span></li>
</ul>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Grattugiate i formaggi e metteteli da parte in una ciotolina,tagliate a cubetti la pancetta o lo speck.Prendete una pentola,versateci dell'olio d'oliva e la pancetta,fatela rosolare bene fino a quando sarà bella croccante e dorata.A questo punto mettetela su della carta assorbente e lasciatela da parte.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Cuocete i sedanini in una pentola d'acqua bollente leggermente salata (la pancetta è già salata di suo,quindi non abbondate con il sale),e nel frattempo,fate sobbollire </span><span style="color:#008000;">in un pentolino </span><span style="color:#008000;">la panna,amalgamandola  piano piano con i formaggi e l'aglio schiacciato.<br />
</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Mescolate e fate andare a fuoco lento fino a quando i formaggi si saranno sciolti e la crema sarà bella densa,assaggiate e se serve salate e pepate.</span></p>
<p><span style="color:#008000;">Scolate i sedanini e  metteteli in una pentola con la salsa e con la pancetta,amalgamando ancora per 1 o 2 minuti.Tagliate quindi con una forbice l'erba cipollina,mescolate bene la pasta e servite!</span></p>

<p>It is important to balance kindness (<em><a title="Metta - Loving-kindness" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#metta" target="_blank">metta</a></em>) with wisdom (<a title="Panna - Wisdom, discernment" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#panna" target="_blank"><em>panna</em></a>) when living among others. Otherwise one may find one's kindness being taken advantage of and abused leading one to great suffering (<em><a title="Dukkha - Stress, unsatisfactoriness, suffering" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#dukkha" target="_blank">dukkha</a></em>). So know <em>whom</em>, <em>when</em> and <em>how</em> best to help, and also when its best not to help at all.</p>
<p>Buddhism (<a title="Dhamma - The Teaching, reality, the way things really are" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#dhamma" target="_blank"><em>Dhamma</em></a>) is not blind religion. There is no blind anything in Buddhism, whether it be faith (<a title="Saddha - Faith, confidence (in the Teacher/Teachings)" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#saddha" target="_blank">saddha</a>), kindness (<em><a title="Metta - Loving-kindness" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#metta" target="_blank">metta</a></em>), or anything else for that matter. On the contrary its very much a <em>seeing</em> religion, being able to see and understand (<a title="Panna - Wisdom, discernment" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#panna" target="_blank"><em>panna</em></a>) things with one's own eye of wisdom (the unpolluted mind), where one reflects on the situations, problems and issues encountered with a clear mind and then formulates a <a title="Skillful - Good, wholesome, best" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#kusala" target="_blank">skillful</a> response.</p>
<p>So always balance everything including kindness (<em><a title="Metta - Loving-kindness" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#metta" target="_blank">metta</a></em>), with understanding and wisdom (<a title="Panna - Wisdom, discernment" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#panna" target="_blank"><em>panna</em></a>). This way, whatever is done will give the best result. :)</p>

Dalam kepercayaan agama-agama umumnya, hal ini sangat mudah dijelaskan, yaitu dengan memberi berbagai jawaban seperti : “Takdir !”, “ Sudah kehendak yang diatas “, “ Itulah kuasa Tuhan! Ia menjentikkan jarinya, dan tsunamipun terjadi! Ia menghantamkan tinjuNya dan bumi pun goncang, menjejakkan kakiNya dan gempa terjadi dimana-mana, gunung berapi meletus,dan lain-lain…dan lain-lain… “. Juga seperti penjelasan sindiran dalam sebuah iklan, “ Mengapa Pangeran Dipanegara ditangkap ? Jawab : Takdir Pak ! “.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Dalam Buddha-Dhamma, tidak ada penjelasan ‘buntu’ yang kemudian <span> </span>dipertanggungjawabkan kepada suatu-makhluk tertentu yang misterius yang harus dipercaya saja dan tidak boleh dipertanyakan, hanya boleh di’iya’kan dengan kemisteriusan iman seperti penjelasan-penjelasan diatas. Tapi ada baiknya kita membahasnya kembali.</span></span></p>

Telepati, kemampuan membaca pikiran orang lain, kemampuan memprediksi, dan hal-hal lain yang tak bisa dijelaskan dalam sains, termasuk dalam kelompok ini.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Kelima <em>niyama</em> tersebut tidak terpisahkan satu sama lain. Istilah <em>niyama </em>hanya bertujuan untuk membantu manusia memahami aturan yang bekerja di alam semesta ini. <em>Panca-niyama</em> secara integrative menunjuk satu realitas, beroperasi dalam satu kesatuan, terkait dan saling bergantungan satu sama lainnya. Terminologi yang diberikan untuk menunjuk keterkaitan tersebut adalah ; <em>interdependensi.</em> Konsep <em>interdependensi </em>menempati peranan sentral dalam Avatamsaka-sutra, yang merupakan salah satu teks utama Buddhisme mazhab Mahayana.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Interdependensi antara satu niyama dengan niyama lainnya terjalin secara kontinu atau sinambung terus menerus dan dinamis <em>( continuum-dynamis )</em>. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Sebagai contoh, dalam interdependensi <em>utu-niyama</em> dengan <em>kamma-niyama,</em> maka segala apa yang kita lakukan <em>( kamma-niyama )</em> juga akan mempengaruhi iklim dunia <em>( utu-niyama ).</em> Misal, jika energi karma negative yang dihasilkan dari akumulasi keserakahan dan kebencian ummat-manusia telah mencapai titik kulminasi tertentu, maka akan terjadi gangguan pada alam atau ekosistem yang dapat berupa : musim hujan tak datang pada waktunya, musim kemarau terlalu panjang, disusul dengan badai hujan yang terlalu ekstrem dan bencana-bencana lainnya.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Contoh berikutnya, interdependensi antara <em>bija-niyama</em> dengan <em>kamma-niyama.</em> Sebagai contoh, energi negative yang dihasilkan dari pembantaian binatang ( dalam hal perburuan illegal, pusat penjagalan hewan, dll ) dan manusia ( dalam hal peperangan dan pembantaian missal yang didasarai alas an apapun juga, termasuk dalih menyebarkan agama-Tuhan dimuka bumi ) secara terus-menerus <em>( kamma-niyama )</em> bisa mencapai titik kulminasi tertentu yang mengaktifkan munculnya wabah penyakit baru. Ini menjelaskan mengapa di zaman modern ini muncul berbagai penyakit aneh-aneh yang dizaman baheula tidak pernah dijumpai. Munculnya penyakit baru itu berasal dari kuman yang bermutasi atau bahkan kuman baru <em>( bija-niyama ).</em> Ternyata setelah orang berhasil menemukan obat bagi penyakit baru itu, muncul kuman baru yang lebih ganas. Siklus ini tidak akan pernah berakhir selama kita masih melakukan kebiasaan-kebiasaan biadab seperti tersebut diatas. Industri kapitalis yang bergerak dalam pemotongan / penjagalan hewan-hewan untuk dipasarkan secara massal merupakan salah satu penyebab utama dalam hal ini. Tradisi penyembelihan hewan-hewan untuk dipersembahkan kepada ‘Penguasa-Alam’ tiap bulan-bulan tertentu juga merupakan salah satu penyebab hal ini. Ilmu kedokteran modern membuktikan bahwa banyak penyakit yang timbul sebagai akibat mengkonsumsi daging berbagai jenis hewan, dan timbul dari bangkai bangkai makhluk hidup yang ‘dibantai’ semena-mena.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Contoh penyakit AIDS juga bisa dijelaskan lewat interdependensi <em>bija-niyama</em> dengan <em>kamma-niyama</em>. Karena kamma-buruk yang berupa pengumbaran nafsu sexual telah mencapai titik kulminasinya, dimana manusia senang berganti-ganti pasangan, tingkat perselingkuhan meningkat, explorasi fantasi sexual ( berhubungan sex dengan hewan, pria dewasa menyodomi anak-anak dibawah umur, esplorasi ‘gaya’ dalam berhubungan sexual yang semakin ‘aneh-aneh’, dll. ), maka hal tersebut kemudian mengaktifkan munculnya wabah penyakit baru yang menhantui ummat manusia : AIDS. Virus ini muncul dari luka-luka dan akumulasi ‘virus’ akibat hubungan sex yang tidak wajar tersebut, juga karena ‘mutasi-genetika’ yang terjadi. Seperti ‘singgat’ atau ‘set’ yang muncul dari makanan busuk, tidak ada yang menciptakan, tapi terjadi secara alamiah, sains ( dalam hal ini fisika, kimia dan biology ) mampu menjelaskan hal tersebut. Tidak ada Maha-Adi-Kuasa yang menyibukkan diri setiap saat dan ‘Ora-Sare’ ( Tidak-Tidur ) untuk susah-susah memikirkan bagaimana caranya ‘menganiaya’ manusia atas kekhilafannya tersebut.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Interdependensi antara <em>dhamma-niyama</em> dengan <em>kamma-niyama</em> terwujud dari kaitan yang erat antara gerakan benda-benda alam-semesta dengan karma kolektif makhluk, misalnya ada tsunami yang ‘mengganyang’ masyarakat Aceh, Lumpur ‘Lapindo’ di Porong-Sidoarjo, dan lain-lain, yang menewaskan banyak manusia disekitarnya. Mengapa hanya orang-orang tersebut yang tertimpa musibah, sedangkan yang lainnya, seperti kita disini, bisa selamat, sehat-walafiat ? Mengapa bencana-alam terjadi di tempat-tempat tertentu, tidak di tempat-tempat lainnya ?<span>  </span>Kamma kolektif tersebut bisa ditelusur hingga jauh kepada kamma kehidupan lampau. Ingat hukum kamma, seseorang bisa berbuat sesuatu disini saat ini, tapi bisa menuainya saat ini juga, saat berikutnya dalam kehidupan ini, atau pada kehidupan yang berikutnya, dan juga pada kehidupan-kehidupan berikutnya lagi. ( Ini juga yang memberikan penjelasan logis ramalan dan sumpah-serapah Sabdapalon-Nayagenggong saat Majapahit dihancurkan pada 1478 ).</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Contoh berikutnyan adalah interdependensi antara <em>citta-niyama</em> dengan <em>kamma-niyama</em>. Seseorang yang melakukan pemurnian pikiran melalui sila dan Samadhi akan mendapatkan kekuatan batin, bisa membaca pikiran dan hati orang lain, dll. Seseorang yang dari kehidupan lampaunya telah melakukan hal tersebut, bisa saja pada kehidupan saat ini mengalami kecelakaan yang seharusnya menewaskannya, tapi ternyata ia mampu selamat, kembali sehat-walafiat, dan mampu meneruskan hidupnya kembali dengan normal seperti semula. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Hereditas <em>( bija-niyama ),</em> kejiwaan-lampau <em>( citta-niyama )</em> dan karma lampau <em>( kamma-niyama )</em> membentuk sisi karakter alamiah dari kehidupan manusia. Perkembangan fisik <em>( utu-niyama )</em> dan lingkungan <em>( dhamma-niyama )</em> membentuk sisi pengasuhan dari kehidupan manusia. Dengan demikian, agama Buddha memandang perlunya aspek alamiah dan pengasuhan kedua-duanya dalam pengembangan kepribadian.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Menurut agama Buddha, perbuatan ( karma ) negative yang serupa yang dilakukan banyak orang dalam frekuensi dan internsitas yang tinggi akan menghasilkan karma kolektif yang cukup kuat untuk menghasilkan bencana alam.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Berdasarkan ajaran-ajaran yang merujuk pada Lankavatara-sutra, Avatamsaka-sutra, dan Surangama-sutra, energi karma memicu aktivasi salah satu dari keempat unsure penyusun alam-semesta : tanah, air, api, dan angin, tergantung jenis karma kolektif kolektif yang dilakukan.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Kebencian, kemarahan, dan seks yang berlebihan berkaitan dengan unsure api yang bersifat panas.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Nafsu keinginan, keserakahan, dan kemelekatan berkaitan dengan unsure air yang bersifat menggapai – itulah sebabnya ada cairan di mulut saat memikirkan makanan lezat, cairan / lender di organ seks saat berfantasi adu-asmara dengan kekasih-pujaan-hati, cairan di mata<span>  </span>saat memikirkan peristiwa yang penuh nostalgia.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Energi pikiran yang dilahirkan dari keangkuhan, penindasan dan perlakuan semena-mena, berkaitan dengan unsure padat yang bersifat menghantam, menubruk, menabrak. Dalam tindakan penindasan, bila terdapat juga unsure ketidakadilan yang sangat dominant, maka akan mengaktifkan energi gesekan yang menyebabkan gempa-bumi. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:45pt;text-align:justify;margin:0 0 0 18pt;"><span style="font-size:14pt;" lang="EN-US"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Energi pikiran dari pandangan-salah yang keliru dan menyesatkan yang bertolak-belakang dengan realitas-fenomena yang sesungguhnya, sehingga terjadi aktivitas “gerakan”, dan karenanya berkaitan dengan unsure angina. Dari keempat unsure, unsure angin yang terhalus, sesuai dengan energi dari pandangan terbalik yang paling halus tak kentara.</span></span></p>

Bertanya-tanya, “ Sebenarnya, apa rencana Tuhan terhadapku ? Mengapa hingga usia sekarang ini, yang sudah paruh-baya, hidupku belum juga berarti ? Penghasilan pas-pasan, hidup juga penuh duka ketimbang sukanya… Apa aku tidak mendapat tempat di hati Tuhan ? “</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Sementara kita sering pula melihat ada anak yang dari kecil, sejak keluar dari rahim ibunya, sudah dimanjakan dengan gelimang harta, kesejahteraan yang jauh diatas rata-rata masyarakat umumnya, bahkan hingga ia dewasa, menikah, mempunyai anak, cucu, cicit, dan akhirnya meninggal, ia selalu saja dalam keadaan berkelimpahan harta-benda, dicintai masyarakat sekelilingnya.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;">Ada</SPAN><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"> juga yang merasa hidup ini bagaikan “Cakra-Manggilingan”, bagaikan roda berputar. Ia pernah hidup susah-melarat, suatu saat, dengan ketekunannya, ia berhasil merintis usaha dan membawanya ke derajat kesejahteraan yang diidam-idamkan masyarakat umumnya. Namun suatu ketika, ia mengalami kemalangan, usahanya hancur, karena ditipu rekan kerjanya, rumahnya terbakar, semuanya ludes. “ Sudah jatuh, tertimpa tangga pula “, begitu keluhnya.</SPAN></FONT></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Dan, aku sendiri, sejak kecil selalu bertanya-tanya, mengapa ada orang yang berkedudukan rendah, hidup miskin, melarat, sedang orang yang lain mempunyai kedudukan yang mulia, hidup kaya-harta, sejahtera ? Mengapa ada anak-anak yang harus meninggal setelah beberapa waktu dilahirkan kedunia, sedangkan orang lain meninggal ketika beranjak remaja atau pada usia seratus tahunan ?<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>Mengapa seseorang memiliki fisik lemah dan berpenyakitan, sedang orang lain memiliki tubuh yang kuat dan sehat ?<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>Mengapa ada orang yang berwajah tampan, dan orang lain berwajah buruk, menakutkan, sehingga orang lain ngeri dan takut melihatnya ?<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>Mengapa seseorang memiliki kecerdasan luar biasa, sedang orang lain begitu ‘bodoh’nya ?<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>Mengapa ada orang yang terlahir dengan sifat saleh, sedangkan orang lain terlahir dengan kecenderungan-kecenderungan criminal ?<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>Mengapa ada orang yang berbakat sebagai ahli pidato, ahli bahasa, ahli musik, ahli melukis, dan ahli lain-lainnya sejak lahir ?<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>Mengapa ada orang yang buta, tuli dan cacat sejak lahirnya, MENGAPA ???</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Inilah pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang sering muncul di benak manusia, membingungkan. Bagaimana kita harus menerangkan “ketidakadilan” dunia, perbedaan-perbedaan diantara umat manusia ini ?<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>Apakah semua fenomena itu terjadi secara kebetulan ?</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Dalam dunia ini tidak ada sesuatu apapun yang terjadi secara kebetulan. Weblog “Ciwa-Buddha” ini tidak terjadi secara kebetulan, tetapi karena kehendakku sendiri untuk mewartakan ajaran Buddha dan berbagi / sharing mengenai berbagai pengetahuan. Tiap-tiap tulisan yang aku kutip, aku rangkum, aku sarikan, aku olah dari berbagai sumber, tidak terjadi secara kebetulan, tetapi terjadi karena kehendak yang menjadikanku berbuat untuk terwujudnya kehendak itu. Siapa yang mengatur ? Siapa yang memerintahkan ? TIDAK-ADA. Kalaupun ada, itu hanyalah ‘kehendak’- “ku” sendiri.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Apakah segala hal didunia ini disebabkan oleh suatu makhluk yang tak bertanggungjawab ?</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman"><EM><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;">Huxley</SPAN></EM><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"> menulis :<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>“<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>Apakah kita berpendapat bahwa ada seseorang atau sesuatu yang mengatur keadaan alam semesta yang menakjubkan ini, maka dalam pengertianku ia tidak dapat disebut murah hati dan adil, melainkan kejam dan tidak adil. “</SPAN></FONT></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Menurut <EM>Albert Einstein</EM> : “ Bila makhluk adikodrati ini Maha Kuasa, maka setiap kejadian, termasuk setiap perbuatan, pikiran, perasaan dan aspirasi manusia juga merupakan karyanya ;<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>lalu bagaimana manusia harus bertanggungjawab atas perbuatan-perbuatan dan pemikiran-pemikiran mereka dihadapan makhluk maha kuasa seperti itu<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>? “</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">“ Sewaktu memberi hukman dan anugerah, ia sedikit banyak juga harus mengadili dirinya sendiri. Lalu bagaimana hal ini dapat dikaitkan dengan kebajikan dan keadilan yang dianggap berasal dari dirinya ? “</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">“ Menurut asas-asas Theologi, manusia diciptakan bukan atas dasar keinginannya sendiri, dan untuk selamanya ia mulia atau celaka. Dengan begitu, sejak awal dalam proses penciptaan fisiknya sampai saat kematiannya, manusia itu dapat baik atau jahat, beruntung atau celaka, mulia atau hina, tanpa menghiraukan akan keinginan-keinginan, harapan-harapan, cita-cita, usaha-usaha ataupun doa sujudnya. INILAH FATALISME THEOLOGI.”<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN><EM>( Spencer Lewis ).</EM></FONT></SPAN></P><br />

Penderitaan, kesengsaraan, kejahatan, kemiskinan, bertolak belakang dengan penganjur kebaikan abadi dan berlawanan dengan pernyataannya akan kemampuan dirinya sebagai dewa serba baik, serba bijaksana, dan serba kuasa. “</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Menurut <EM>Schopenhauer</EM> :<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>“ Barangsiapa menganggap dirinya berasal dari ketiadaan, maka ia juga harus berpikir bahwa ia akan kembali ke ketiadaan itu lagi ;<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>Suatu kekekalan telah lewat sebelum ia ada dan kekekalan kedua telah dimulai, yang melaluinya ia tidak akan pernah berakhir adalah suatu pemikiran yang menakutkan. “</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">“ Bila kelahiran adalah permulaan yang mutlak, maka kematian seharusnya akhir yang mutlak pula. Anggapan bahwa manusia berasal dari ketiadaan pasti akan membawa pada anggapan bahwa kematian adalah akhir yang mutlak. “</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Memberikan komentar terhadap penderitaan manusia dan dewa pencipta, <EM>Prof.J.B.S. Haldane</EM> menulis :<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>“ Kalau bukan penderitaan yang diperlukan untuk menyempurnakan sifat manusia, tentu dewa pencipta itu tidak maha kuasa. Teori yang pertama tidak sesuai dengan kenyataan bahwa, sebagian orang yang hanya sedikit sekali menderita namun beruntung dalam keturunan dan pendidikan terbukti mempunyai sifat yang baik. Keberatan terhadap teori yang kedua adalah bahwa hal itu hanya berkenaan dengan alam semesta secara keseluruhan dan bahwasannya terdapat suatu kekosongan intelektual yang harus diisi dengan mengendalikan seorang dewa. Dan barangkali seorang pencipta dapat menciptakan apa saja yang dia inginkan. “</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman"><EM><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;">Lord Russell </SPAN></EM><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;">menyatakan : “ Sebagaimana diceritakan kepada kita, dunia diciptakan oleh seorang dewa yang baik dan maha kuasa. Sebelum dia menciptakan dunia, ia telah melihat seluruh penderitaan dan kesengsaraan yang akan terjadi didalamnya. Karenanya, ia bertanggungjawab atas segala sesuatunya. Adalah suatu hal yang sia-sia memperdebatkan bahwa penderitaan dalam dunia disebabkan oleh dosa. Bila dewa pencipta itu telah mengetahui sebelumnya akan dosa yang bakal dilakukan umat manusia, maka jelas ia bertanggungjawab akan akibat-akibat dosa itu.</SPAN></FONT></P><br />

<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Mungkinkah segala perbedaan yang ada pada manusia ini disebabkan oleh factor keturunan dan lingkungan ?<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>Kita harus mengakui bahwa semua fenomena fisik-kimiawi yang diungkapkan oleh para ilmuwan, sebagian adalah sebagai factor pembantu, tetapi tidak seluruhnya mutlak bertanggungjawab atas perbedaan-perbedaan besar yang terdapat di antara individu-individu. Lalu mengapa ada anak kembar yang memiliki tubuh serupa, mewarisi gen yang sejenis, menikmati kesempatan asuhan yang sama, seringkali memiliki watak, moral dan kecerdasan yang sangat berbeda ?</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Keturunan saja tidak dapat menyebabkan perbedaan-perbedaan yang besar ini. Sesungguhnya, factor keturunan lebih masuk akal atas persamaan-persamaan mereka daripada atas perbedaan-perbedaan mereka. Benih fisik kimiawi dengan panjangnya kira-kira sepertiga puluh inci yang diwarisi dari orang tua, hanya menerangkan satu bagian dari manusia, yaitu dasar fisiknya. Mengenai perbedaan-perbedaan batin, intelektual dan moral yang jauh lebih kompleks dan halus itu diperlukan penerangan batin yang lebih dalam. Teori keturunan tidak dapat memberikan suatu jawaban yang memuaskan tentang lahirnya seorang criminal dalam sebuah keluarga yang mempunyai leluhur terhormat atau kelahiran seorang suci atau mulia dalam sebuah keluarga yang memiliki reputasi jelek dan tentang lahirnya seorang tolol, manusia genius dan guru-guru besar.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Menurut agama Buddha, perbedaan-perbedaan ini tidak hanya disebabkan oleh factor keturunan dan lingkungan, tetapi juga disebabkan oleh kamma kita sendiri, atau dengan kata lain, disebabkan oleh akibat dari perbuatan lampau kita dan perbuatan-perbuatan kita sekarang. Kita sendiri yang harus bertanggungjawab atas perbuatan-perbuatan kita. Kita membangun penjara kita sendiri. Kita adalah arsitek dari nasib kita sendiri. Singkatnya, diri kita merupakan akibat dari kamma kita sendiri.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Bagaimana kita bisa mempercayai semua ini, dengan perbedaan berdasarkan hukum sebab-akibat atau sebagai hasil dari bibit kammanya sendiri. Sang Buddha tidak pernah menyuruh seseorang untuk mempercayai segala apa yang diajarkan-Nya. Beliau selalu meminta, “ Datang dan buktikan!”, yang dikenal sebagai prinsip EHIPASSIKO.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Beliau bagaikan seorang ilmuwan / penemu. Beliau menerangkan hal-hal mengenai alam-semesta dan kehidupan, seperti seorang ilmuwan menerangkan adanya bakteri, virus, galaksi, bintang, dan lain sebagainya. Kita bisa membuktikan adanya bakteri, virus, dengan melihat dan menyaksikan sendiri melalui mikroskop electron. Kalau kita ingin melihat dengan mata daging ini, sudah pasti Hukum Kamma seakan begitu sulit dan rumit, susah dilihat. Tetapi semua ini telah dibuktikan kebenarannya oleh para suciwan. Seseorang yang senantiasa tekun melatih diri dalam Samadhi dan Sila, dengan kekuatan batin yang tenang didalam Jhana IV, mampu melihat dan membuktikannya, hingga menembus ke kehidupan-kehidupan lampaunya. Jadi, secara tegas, siapapun yang mampu mencapai Jhana IV, mereka pasti bisa membuktikan kebenaran itu.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Pada suatu ketika seorang pemuda bernama Subha datang menemui Sang Buddha dan bertanya kepada Beliau, “ Mengapa dan apa sebabnya di anatara umat manusia ada yang memiliki keadaan rendah dan ada yang memiliki<SPAN>&#160; </SPAN>keadaan mulia ? Mengapa ada manusia yang berumur pendek dan ada yang berumur panjang, ada yang sehat dan ada yang berpenyakitan, ada yang berawajah tampan dan ada yang berwajah buruk, ada yang berkuasa dan tertindas, ada yang miskin dan ada yang kaya, ada yang hinda dan ada yang mulia, ada yang bodoh dan ada yang bijaksana ? “</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Sang Buddha menjawab : “ Semua makhluk memiliki kammanya sendiri, mewarisi kammanya sendiri, lahir dari kammanya sendiri, berhubungan dengan kammanya sendiri, terlindung oleh kammanya sendiri. Kammalah yang membuat semua makhluk menjadi berbeda, hina atau mulia. “</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Selanjutnya Sang Buddha menerangkan sebab perbedaan-perbedaan tersebut sesuai dengan hukum Sebab-Akibat.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Dari sudut pandang agama Buddha, perbedaan-perbedaan batin, intelektual, moral dan watak kita sekarang, pada prinsipnya disebabkan oleh perbuatan-perbuatan kita sendiri yang dilakukan diwaktu lampau dan di waktu sekarang.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Secara harafiah, Kamma berarti perbuatan, tetapi, dalam pengertian mutlaknya kamma berarti kehendak. Kamma ada yang baik ( Kusala Cetana ) dan yang buruk ( Akusala Cetana ). Perbuatan baik akan membuahkan kebaikan. Perbuatan jahat akan membuahkan kesedihan. Inilah Hukum Kamma.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Kita memetik apa yang kita tanam. Kita adalah akibat dari apa yang kita lakukan diwaktu lampau; kita akan menjadi akibat dari apa yang kita lakukan sekarang, tetapi kita tidak mutlak hanya merupakan akibat dari apa yang kita lakukan diwaktu lampau; kita tidak mutlak hanya menjadi akibat dari apa yang kita lakukan sekarang. Misalnya seorang criminal mungkin saja dapat menjadi orang suci dikemudian hari, atau sebaliknya.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Agama Buddha menerangkan semua perbedaan dan ketidak-adilan didunia ini dengan hukum Karma, tetapi tidak menyatakan bahwa segala sesuatu disebabkan oleh Kamma saja. Apabila segala sesuatu disebabkan oleh Kamma, maka seorang penjahat akan selamanya menjadi jahat, karena kammanya yang menjadikan dirinya jahat. Orang tidak perlu memeriksakan dirinya ke dokter untuk disembuhkan penyakitnya, karena bila kammanya memang harus demikian ia akan sembuh dengan sendirinya. Tidak demikian.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />

Dan hukum alam tersebut berlaku, berjalan sendiri, tanpa peran serta Hakim Agung atau Penguasa tertentu yang mengaturnya.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Tidak ada yang memutuskan bahwa api itu harus membakar. Tidak ada yang memerintahkan bahwa air harus mencari permukaan yang rendah. Tak ada ilmuwan yang memerintahkan bahwa air harus terdiri dari H20 dan sifat dingin harus menjadi salah satu sifatnya. Kamma bukanlah nasib atau takdir yang ditimpakan pada kita oleh kekuatan misterius yang tak dikenal, kepada siapa kita harus menyerahkan diri kita tanpa daya. Perbuatan seseorang sendirilah yang memberi akibat pada dirinya, sehingga dengan demikian ia mempunyai suatu kemungkinan untuk membelokkan jalannya kamma sampai taraf tertentu. Berapa jauh ia dapat membelokkannya tergantung pada usaha dirinya sendiri.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">&#160;</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><STRONG><U><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">PERAN PARA DEWA DAN MAHA DEWA</FONT></SPAN></U></STRONG></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Seorang ummat Buddha yang benar-benar yakin akan hukum Karma tak akan pernah berdoa pada dewa-dewa dan bahkan Maha Dewa sekalipun. Sang Buddha tidak pernah menyatakan bahwa tidak ada Dewa-dewa dan Maha Dewa seperti Maha-Brahma yang oleh para Brahmana disebut sebagai “Maha-Pencipta”, “Maha-Kuasa”, tetapi Sang Buddha hanya menolak pandangan yang menyatakan bahwa para Dewa dan Maha-Dewa tersebut adalah Penguasa alam-semesta, Pencipta Alam-Semesta, Penentu-Garis-Hidup-Semua-Makhluk. Karena itu Sang Buddha tidak mengajarkan “Takdir” dari Maha-Dewa, namun menyatakan bekerjanya “HUKUM-KARMA”.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Ajaran Karma inilah yang memberi harapan, kepercayaan pada diri-sendiri dan keberanian moral. Keyakinan dalam Hukum Kamma inilah “ yang mengabsahkan usaha, mengobarkan semangat, untuk selalu berbuat bajik, toleran, dan berhati-hati.” </FONT></SPAN></P><br />
<P class="MsoNormal" style="text-indent:36pt;text-align:justify;margin:0;"><SPAN lang="EN-US" style="font-size:14pt;"><FONT class="" face="Times New Roman">Keyakinan yang teguh dalam ajaran hukum Karma ini juga mendorong untuk berbuat baik dan menjadi orang baik tanpa harus merasa takut akan hukuman atau tergoda oleh anugerah apapun. Ajaran Kamma inilah yang dapat menerangkan persoalan-persoalan mengenai penderitaan, misteri yang dinamakan nasib atau takdir dalam ajaran-ajaran lain dan yang terpenting adalah menerangkan “ketidaksamaan di antara umat manusia”.</FONT></SPAN></P><br />

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It is possible to get addicted to thoughts! Some are addicted to sensual (<a title="Lobha - Greed, desire, lust" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#lobha" target="_blank"><em>lobha</em></a>) thoughts, memories of past sensual activties conducted (e.g. going to a party and pleasing the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body and mind). Others get addicted to angry (<em><a title="Dosa - Aversion, anger, ill-will" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#anger" target="_blank">dosa</a></em>) thoughts, where they think of some malicious thing they did/want to do over and over again, while deriving pleasure from it (very costly to oneself). Others may be addicted to delusional thoughts (<em><a title="Moha - Delusion, ignorance, confused thinking" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#avijja" target="_blank">moha</a></em>); useless, unrealistic, profitless thinking - flights of fantasy.</p>
<p>    There is a price to pay for these addictions, especially for a person who is addicted to angry thoughts (see the ill-effects of anger by reading the <a title="Kodhana Sutta - The Wretchedness of Anger" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/tipitaka/an/an07/an07.060.nymo.html" target="_blank"><em>Kodhana Sutta</em></a>). Most serious of all, these addiction reduce wisdom (<em><a title="Panna - Wisdom, discernment" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#panna" target="_blank">panna</a></em>) by reducing levels of concentration (<em><a title="Samadhi - Concentration" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#samadhi" target="_blank">samadhi</a></em>).</p>
<p>    So the best thing to do is to become established in mindfulness (<em><a title="Sati - Mindfulness, present awareness" href="http://www.accesstoinsight.org/index-subject.html#sati" target="_blank">sati</a></em>) throught the day. May you be free of your thought addictions and be happy and well! :)</p>

La struttura, composta da albergo 4 stelle, centro benessere e ristorante, appartiene infatti a un ente benefico che destina parte dei fondi ai bambini bisognosi in ogni parte del mondo. Un luogo quindi dove il piacere del corpo si sposa, al riparo dei sensi di colpa, con quello dello spirito. Al primo il posto offre più di una tentazione. Il bellissimo giardino, anzitutto, vicinissimo al mare, ricco di piante mediterranee, erbe aromatiche e ovviamente alte tamerici, solo lontane parenti di quelle spelacchiate che allignano sui lungomare laziali. Il ristorante propone due menù, a seconda di gusti e portafogli: la grande e la piccola carta. Sulla prima si trovano, sotto nomi evocativi, piatti a prevalenza di pesce che variano di volta in volta a seconda della fantasia e del pescato. Meno esagerata ma forse più godibile la variante mini. L’esordio è di assoluto rilievo con la serie dei crudi, dalla superba Spigola al limone alle più povere, ma non meno gustose, Alici marinate. Ottima anche l’insalata di mare espressa. Fra i primi, di grande equilibrio le Linguine con i gamberi e la buccia di limone, così come, per gli amanti dei cibi di terra, gli originali Paccheri cacio e pepe con granella di nocciole dei Cimini. Skär laxfileérna i mindre bitar och blanda ner i stekpannan! Slå på en skvätt fond &#38; lite vatten, eller fiskbuljong, eller om du vill lyxa till det så ta lite vitt vin. Låt pannan få puttra tills laxen är färdig, ca 5 min, salta &#38; peppra! Enkelt &#38; supergott!</p>

<p>600ml śmietany (kremówki),</p>
<p>7 listków żelatyny (15g),</p>
<p>wg uznania cukier puder (waniliowy),</p>
<p>laska wanilii,</p>
<p>syrop pomarańczowy,</p>
<p>kubeczki (foremki itd...),</p>
<p>skórka z pomarańczy i migdały (do dekoracji).</p>
<p><strong>WYKONANIE :</strong></p>
<p>Bardzo proste :) i szybkie, jednak aby zjeść gotowy deser trzeba cierpliwie czekać około 4 godzin.</p>
<p>Zelatynę namaczam chwilę w wodzie, a w tym czasie gotuje mleko. Gdy się zagotuję rozpuszczam w nim żelatynę i odstawiam na bok.</p>

<p>Po 4 godzinach wyjmuję z kubeczków, trzymając kubeczek przez chwilę w gorącej wodzie i wykładam na talerzyk, polewając syropem pomarańczowym i posypując migdałami i skórką z pomarańczy.</p>

This is one such idea – instead of kairi (raw mangoes) in panna/panha, I tried it with those sour apples (again :D … ) - <a href="http://foodwithapinchoflove.wordpress.com/kairi-panna/" target="_blank"><span style="text-decoration:underline;">the regular kairi panna you can find here</span></a>.</span></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align:justify;">Co prawda do ślubu mam jeszcze trochę czasu, choć pierścionek prezaręczynowy już został wręczony (i przynajmniej on nie został zgubiony przez pewną modą damę), ale jednak trzeba by zastanowić sie co będzie po ślubie.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Oczywiście zacznijmy od rzeczy najważniejszych - po ślubie będzie seks. Jak Pan Bóg przykazał, w pozycji misjonarskiej. Choć przecież kościół zabrania misjonarzom współżycia. Ale jak to Cejrowski opisywał - misjonarze w Ameryce południowej są bardzo nietypowi. Niektórzy, nazwani przez niego "Łowcami chrztów", jedzą to samo co Dzicy - węże, leśne ssaki, jaszczurki, inni odprawiają msze w tych strojach co tubylcy - nago. Więc może niektórzy rozmnażają się, żeby mieć kogo chrzcić. To by miało sens. Własne dziecko łatwiej ochrzcić niż cudze.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Co jeszcze po ślubie... Będzie zaakceptowanie oficjalne przez rodzinę. Zwłaszcza ortodoksyjne babcie, nierzadko będące wiernymi słuchaczkami Radia M... z ks. Tadeuszem R. Co prawda gorzej, kiedy katolicka rodzina musi zaakceptować agnostyka, przez co msza łącząca dwoje ludzi (bo msza musi się odbyć - tak w końcu chce narzeczona) nie wygląda tak idealnie, jak wyglądać powinna, i wszystkie kobiety w kościele wylewają odrobinę mniej łez niż zazwyczaj przy takich uroczystościach. Zastanawia mnie też dlaczego, do świętej Pochwy, kobiety się tak na ślubach rozklejają. Nikt nie umiera, nikomu nie dzieje się krzywda. A jeśli to płacz szczęścia to z jakiego powodu? Przecież to tylko zwykła formalność - takie związanie metaforycznym węzłem małżeńskim. Nawet przy narodzinach nowego dziecka nie ma tyle płaczek, mimo, że to chwila bardziej wyniosła. Chyba tylko pogrzeby dorównują ślubom w ilości beczących bab, ale tam przynajmniej jest powód.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">&#60;Tutaj następuje przerwa na zlinczowanie autora słów, które zmniejszają wagę tak ważnej uroczystości&#62;</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Co jeszcze jest po ślubie? Zeznania majątkowe małżonków, mniejsza ilość papierkowej roboty w jednym resorcie, więcej roboty w drugim. Jest też nowe nazwisko. Albo nowy człon. Jak kto woli. Oczywiście od strony męża, choć nie wiadomo po co. Kiedyś to miało związek z respektem wśród innych rodzin. Nazwisko nie tylko było sposobem rozpoznawania rodzin, ale także marką. Bezosobową firmą, której udziały na giełdzie socjologicznej były zależne od posiadanego majątku i od sławy. Dziś nazwisko straciło na wadze i tylko dla genealogów ma jakąkolwiek wartość.</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Po ślubie dostaje się jeszcze zdjęcia. Oczywiście z ceremonii. Mnóstwo prezentów, zabawę weselną, której nikt nie pamięta, gdyż nasza krajowa Wódka leje sie strumieniami, a mózgotrzepiąca kapela wiejska gra największe przeboje disco polo. Co w połączeniu daje zabawę do samego rana biesiadników i wstręt pana młodego, który wolałby, żeby na jego weselu było mniej "<em>bułgarskie centrum chujozy</em>" a bardziej "<em>stan haelucynogenny</em>". Zaś po weselu nie chciałbym ani "<em>filozofii małżeńskiej</em>" ani "<em>cygańskiego zajebu</em>", a bardziej "<em>odpocznijmy</em>".</p>
<p style="text-align:justify;">Są także odpowiednie do + plusów - minusy. Bo równowaga w przyrodzie musi być. Ale o tym może opowie film, który dostałem od <a title="Zapalniczka" href="http://zapalniczka.wordpress.com" target="_blank">Gochy</a> .</p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">The Daily Star published my article about the death of the tigers during research in Sundarban on the 22nd February 2008 (<em>The Death of Two Tigers: Immature science in immature hands</em>). Immediately this article was re-published or linked on many wildlife, conservation and veterinary related websites and forums on the net. As a follow-up there have been many discussions among experts like veterinary professionals and wildlife scientists worldwide regarding the safety and methods of collaring of wild tigers. In response to my article Adam Barlow of STP wrote a long article and Indian tiger expert Dr. Ullas Karanth wrote a letter to The Daily Star. Wildlife researcher Dr. Raghu Chundawat commented in a BBC interview and the producer of the BBC film the “Ganges” Dan Rees wrote letters to the editor of The Daily Star. I thank all for their interest and comments and I will try to discuss about the responses which are relevant to many of my comments and quotes.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Somehow the expert community who are closely connected to Mr. Adam got an impression that in Bangladesh there is ‘media hysteria’ against radio collaring, that some people do not understand the necessity of research and standing against collaring of tigers. Also there is an effort to give this discussion a political color that some people are against any foreign involvement in Bangladesh and they are doing propaganda against foreign scientists and their work. As a response I want to say, which was also reflected in my previous article, that I am not against research and not against collaring of tigers if it really helps conservation and done with a safe and up-to date procedure and transparency. I also want to say that, Bangladesh is a backward country in science and technology and without the assistance of the foreign expertise and support our conservation cannot succeed. But those supports should come with a complete plan which works ensuring that nobody can use it for their personal or group interest other then the main agenda. We all should acknowledge that we are discussing here standing over two dead bodies of tiger who were the subject of invasive research. Until there is a proper investigation to find the cause of the deaths, any peer leaning will not help the research or conservation.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">The initial questions after the death of both the tigers were very simple, if the drug had any effect on their death or if the drug was administered properly and in right dose. The second thing was to find the reasons of apparently abnormal behavior of the tigers from collaring to their death and the reason of re-darting the second tiger when she was already very weak due to starvation. But Mr. Adam not answering these basic questions is trying to prove from many angles that why radio collaring is important, why conservation is so necessary and how collaring is so successful in other countries etc.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Observing the events and by communicating with many vets and experts now it can be understood that, in developed countries like USA, Russia etc. where many tigers live in the wild or in captivity, strong regulations are followed while applying drugs to animal. They only allow certified vets to execute the process and they preserve all the necessary records. Investigations are mandatory by independent authorities in case of any incident like death or severe injury. Experts there use Ketamine/Xylazine protocol to immobilize tiger as a first choice and Telazol (or Zoletil, Tiletamine/Zolazepam) is not recommended except in an emergency to save life. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">But a small group of scientists mostly from India is still using the drugs like Telazol which is not methodically tested for Bengal tigers and even is not recommended for tigers by the manufacturer itself. A spokesman for Fort Dodge, the company which makes Telazol, said “It had not performed any safety studies on its use on tigers, and does not market or recommend Telazol for this (tiger immobilization) purpose.” (<em>BBC News: Tiger collaring project suspended, bbc.co.uk</em>). In the subcontinent in many cases like tiger collaring no proper procedure is being followed, not adequate record is maintained and no independent investigation follows after an incident like tiger death or missing. That might help continuing an unsafe procedure for long. All of Mr. Adams tigers die of old age soon after collaring, most of Mr. Raghu Chundawat’s tigers goes missing (<em>Four of six collared tigers missing, Down to Earth, Vol. 13, No 22, </em><em>April 05, 2005</em>). </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">The project’s primary objective was collaring normal tigers to find their territory and behavior to build conservation strategy management but now Mr. Adam is trying to sell the importance of the project by emphasizing the necessity of working with problem tigers. These two contradicts each other. The data collected by collaring the problem tigers will not satisfy the primary research objective. It is also very strange that he is working with problem tigers at the eastern coastal forests when 99% of the tiger human conflict occurs or people die in the western Sundarban area.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Mr. Adam also commented in his article that many of the references I cited in my article do not have ‘actual data’ showing the adverse effects of Telazol. It is true that there is not enough actual data because there was no actual research done about the application of this drug on wild tigers. This also means that there is no actual data ensuring the safety of the drug too. Mr. Adam argued with the help of Dr Terry J. Kreeger that both the tiger did not die by the effect of the drug just because they didn’t die immediately after immobilization. Their prediction may be true for zoo and captive tigers. But anybody who has the basic knowledge about wild animal knows wild tigers are predators and has territorial conflict with other animals. <span> </span>The physical and psychological effects for the drug can make them weak and may make them unable to hunt efficiently. They eventually can die of hunger and weakness or may be killed by other tigers or poachers easily when she becomes weak or looses her senses. The BBC footage shows such a thin and week tiger after immobilized by Telazol which can prove this argument. Dr. Kreeger also didn’t find any scientific data that proves that Telazol can have neurological effects like CNS signs in tiger. The answer is the same, field researchers reported from many places of this event but nobody did systematic research that the reference data can be available. Normally it is the drug manufacturer’s responsibility to do such research, but in case of Telazol, the manufacturer says they produce this drug for domestic cats and dogs only and not for tigers (<em>BBC News above</em>).<span>            </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">I also quoted from some references which commented about the adverse effects of Telazol and the post anesthesia prolonged CNS signs to tigers. Mr. Adam through Dr. Kreeger claimed that the author’s references were old, do not have any research data behind it and Telazol had many formulation changes. This statement is untrue. In the drug industry, if any drug goes through any formulation changes, it cannot be sold under the same trade name. A very new and well acclaimed recent publication on anesthesia of wild animal says “Anecdotally, tigers do not appear to recover well after Telazol; therefore, its use is generally contraindicated” – (<em>Zoo Animal and Wildlife Immobilization and Anesthesia, West et al; First edition, October 2007, pp.12</em>). Another important book writes, “There is evidence of behavioral problems associated with the use of Telazol in tigers” – (<em>Chemical Immobilization of wild and Exotic Animals, Nielson, L, 1999 Ed. pp. 246). </em>Mr. Adam’s claim of formula changes of Telazol does not coincide with these very up-to-date references and most of Mr. Adam’s references supporting Telazol are very old from 70’s and 80’s. </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Mr. Adam many times refers to the other collaring projects all over the world. Many times he cites about the success of the project with Siberian tigers in Russia but he never tells that those tigers were tranquilized mostly by using Ketamine/Xylazine protocol. Also he comments about my points of the danger of snare and bait for wild tigers. He again misunderstood me because my reason to bring up these topics to show that we put enough other risk on wild animals if we even uses a safe drug. So if this whole process of collaring does not give something very important to conservation, it puts unnecessary risk to this the already near extinct animal.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Mr. Adam portrayed the success story of collaring in Nepal but in this month (May’08 ) a Nepal national daily reports a tiger death in the Bardiya National Park (RBNP) after 12 days of radio collaring. The tiger found dead empty stomach and there were evidence of a fight with another tiger. The report claims with its ‘reliable source’ in the park that the tiger was not behaving normally after it was darted and was starving for days. The report also says, about two years ago another tigress were darted and she completely lost her senses after darting and died eating poisoned food. Several cubs of that tigress also died along with her. There were no third party investigation followed but independent sources and locals claim that almost all of Nepal’s collared tigers behaved abnormally after darting and there are direct or indirect connection to most of their deaths to darting and collaring –(Research, not poaching, killing tigers in Bardiya, The Rising Nepal, 3rd May’08). </span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;">Tiger sales! Any wildlife documentary which contains some tiger footage from the wild in it is a hotcake in the international media market. Filming in the forests with wild tigers is very expensive and difficult job. It needs expertise on the species and needs long time to get good tiger footage. Only they can shoot tiger from close by baiting which needs special permission from the government and incurs additional arrangement and cost. It is the easiest making films with collared tigers which doesn’t need many of the hassles and costs above. Openly there are direct beneficiaries of the project inside the country and abroad. Big film companies support and motivate collaring of tiger for their own benefit. The locals who provide support to the filmmakers get financially benefited if the process goes on. The acquired data from the collared tiger is very ‘valuable’ for publishing articles and books. Other agendas may become more lucrative and motivating then conservation itself. For these other agendas any of the wild tiger’s life should not be put on risk. </span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="color:#000000;">There can be two explanations why Mr. Adam decided to re-dart a near dead collard tiger. The first tigress collared was found dead having the collar on which made a big media reaction. One explanation is, to avoid that media reaction they had decided to re-dart the tigress to remove the collar to declare the tiger missing in a suitable time. The other explanation is to capture a live darting sequence for the BBC film team. The normal darting procedure is difficult for filming. First they put snares and tie live baits (usually cows) in the potential roaming areas of the tiger. They do not know when or where the tiger will be caught. When the tiger get caught in the snare after a week or month, they come and dart the animal. This is a violent event to show on TV because the wild tiger fights viciously with the snare. Also in many countries it is prohibited to show contents filmed with the assistance of live bait. Avoiding all these, the ‘</span><span style="color:#000000;">Ganges</span><span style="color:#000000;">’ crews got great advantage from the project having the darting sequence filmed. In exchange they made the story of the tigers in the film as such that the film became a good alibi showing that the tigress was not eating and behaving ‘abnormal’ before darting and was a threat to the people in the village. But all those shots were taken of the collared tiger carefully obscuring the collar when actually her weakness was due to starvation and abnormal behaviors post collaring. In this way the project hiding the truth and twisting the facts tried to fool the tiger enthusiasts all over the world by the documentary. Adam is even saying in front of the camera “Her skins fairly… little bit... pretty slack, she is an old animal, I am not going to collar her”, when he just removed the collar from her moments ago by re-darting (BBC DVD, </span><span style="color:#000000;">Ganges</span><span style="color:#000000;">, Behind the Scenes, 0:</span><span style="color:#000000;">22:56</span><span style="color:#000000;">).<span>  </span>This was a win-win situation for the project and for the film team, but it was virtually killing an endangered animal in the wild to hide truth or to fulfill the other agendas of the researcher.</span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="color:#000000;">After the death of his two collared tigers Mr. Adam was rousing about the necessity of collaring for conservation of tigers in </span><span style="color:#000000;">Bangladesh</span><span style="color:#000000;"> everywhere. After the suspension of the collaring permission he is now raising a new issue of dealing ‘problem tigers’ by collaring. Dr. Ullas Karanth and Dr. Raghu Chundawat, two Indian wildlife experts openly supported his causes. Mr. Adam claims that Dr. Karanth had no problem doing research in Nagorhole but Dr. Raghu Chundawat writes, “Tiger project in Nagarhole by Ullas Karanth has had to face tremendous problems in conducting research; more recently, several cases in courts have been slapped on him” (Tiger Task Force Report, MoEF, India, May 2005). Mr. Karanth argues in his letter to the Daily Star, “Unless mortalities actually occur during sedation, death of a collared tiger weeks or days later cannot be attributed to the research work.” He also says “The radio-collar does not bestow immortality on its wearer.” But application of inappropriate drug or improper application of a safe drug can make a wild tiger unhealthy. That can reduce the tigers hunting efficiency and can make her week and eventually the tiger may die weeks or months later. Shall we consider it a normal death? </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="color:#000000;">Mr. Chundawat started his radio collaring project in Panna tiger Reserve in </span><span style="color:#000000;">India</span><span style="color:#000000;"> around 1995. At that time Panna considered one of the best tiger reserve in </span><span style="color:#000000;">India</span><span style="color:#000000;"> and the whole world supported Mr. Chundawat’s project. BBC made films on his work there (<em>Tigers of the Emerald Forest</em>) and many books and articles were published from the experience of his field research. For nine years he made Panna his home and collared at least eleven tigers. Even in an article in BBC Wildlife magazine (<em>December 2003 issue</em>) he writes “Against the backdrop of declining tiger populations, the restoration of tigers to their optimal population in Panna has been a real achievement. Few other examples of this exist in tiger conservation.” But soon after that he suddenly declares four of the six tigers, on which his team had put radio collars, were missing. He says “at least 13 tigers with radio devices attached to collars in the park and being monitored by his team had gone missing recently” (News, BBC.co.uk, </span><span style="color:#000000;">5th May, 2005</span><span style="color:#000000;">). He claimed that all of them were killed by poachers. The authority, which gave permission of doing invasive research with Panna tigers became very upset with him and cancelled his research permission and even prohibited him to enter the park. Mr. Chundawat says about his own project “Tiger research project in Panna, Madhya Pradesh: After the death of radio-collared tigers due to poaching, death of prey species in snares and complaints made to chief wildlife warden regarding the lax protection measures and destructive management practices, the forest department started harassing the researcher and curtailing research activities in this case. After a petition was filed regarding the flawed management practices based on the information gathered by the researcher and following his whistle-blowing on the deteriorating status of tigers in Panna, the management began a harassment campaign against the researcher. It included acts like canceling research permission, refusing to renew the permission to monitor the radio-collared tigers, retrospective charges for using elephants as transport and legal notices to recover the revenue through forfeiting the researcher’s property and asking him to vacate his field camp, seizing the research vehicle and equipment etc.” (<em>Tiger Task Force Report, </em></span><em><span style="color:#000000;">MoEF</span></em><em><span style="color:#000000;">, </span></em><em><span style="color:#000000;">India</span></em><em><span style="color:#000000;">, May 2005</span></em><span style="color:#000000;">). Now it seems that Panna, which was famous as the reserve of the Emerald Tigers possibly going to be the next Sariska. In Sariska suddenly they found in one nice morning that there is no tiger at all. </span></span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="color:#000000;">Indian Express writes in March 2005, “In fact, a visit to the </span><span style="color:#000000;">Emerald</span><span style="color:#000000;"> </span><span style="color:#000000;">Forest</span><span style="color:#000000;"> there clearly shows that the Panna Tiger Reserve could be going the Sariska and Ranthambhore way. A well-known field researcher (Dr. Raghu Chundawat) has submitted a report this week that some 30 tigers may have died or gone missing in the Panna reserve over the past two-and-a-half years. And, the Central Empowered Committee, set up by the Supreme Court, warned last month that unless quick action was taken ‘‘the tiger may never recover here.’’</span></span></span></p>

Chundawat), like many others who have done breast-beating in the media over tigers, also appears to have a hidden agenda. It is learnt he has set up an NGO near the tiger reserve recently to further his cause, which perhaps warrants an anti-system posture to gain credibility. Alas, these are the woes of wildlife conservation today!” (<em>Indian Express 11th March’ 05</em>)</span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="color:#000000;">Could these nine years of research and so much radio collaring data do anything to save the tigers in Panna? The wildlife department of </span><span style="color:#000000;">India</span><span style="color:#000000;"> does not believe in Dr. Chundawat’s poaching claims that much. Xinhua reports about a tiger death in Panna,</span> “<span style="color:#000000;">Doctors and park officials say the death was not due to poaching as the tiger's body was ‘intact’ - no parts had been pulled out, but the conservationists say otherwise” – (People’s Daily, China, May 07, 2006). All agree that poaching is happening in </span><span style="color:#000000;">India</span><span style="color:#000000;"> quite a lot but it is not easy poaching a normal healthy tiger in the wild underhanded. Researcher’s use live baits, put multiple snares and work day and night and wait weeks and months for a tiger to be trapped. Even if we accept Dr. Chundawat’s claim about poaching, why in Panna poaching rate went so high for a very short time? Were the drugs used made the tigers unable to hunt which weakened them and eventually were easily killed by the poachers? Or the drugs made them abnormal in their behavior and they lost the fear of human and went close to human habitations to have easy food that made their life vulnerable? Or poachers used simple radio receivers to track his collared tigers to find them? Who is going to answer those questions in a country in </span><span style="color:#000000;">South Asia</span><span style="color:#000000;">, where a neutral and independent investigation never follows through. </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="color:#000000;">George Schaller, the world's preeminent field biologist, and known as one of the greatest naturalist of the 20th century, sums up the issue beautifully by name. "Field biologists, such as Karanth and Chundawat, can use technology in the form of satellite radio-collars, camera-traps, DNA analysis of scats and other techniques to determine population size, movement patterns, and other aspects. That provides extremely valuable information. Such knowledge is essential for conservation but it is not conservation. Conservation, in the final analysis, is culture, economics and politics." (Dataquest, </span><span style="color:#000000;">October 10, 2007</span><span style="color:#000000;">). Seems Mr. Adam is also walking through the same way that Dr. Karanth and Dr. Chundawat walked before in </span><span style="color:#000000;">India</span><span style="color:#000000;">. While facing questions and controversy, not seeing it as a positive criticism and correcting errors with honesty, rather rousing local people for grouping, making another tiger film or making more ‘friends of the project’ will initiate an unhealthy political dimension to the still immature tiger conservation in Bangladesh. Bangladesh forest department should motivate and integrate the whole nation to participate in the difficult task like tiger conservation in Sundarban, rather then depending on a small group of ‘experts’ who want to be famous even by cuddling dead tigers. </span></span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;margin:0;"><span style="font-size:small;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="color:#000000;">An independent multi government enquiry should succeed having the best veterinary and wildlife experts from around the world to find out what actually happened to all the collared tigers in this subcontinent. They should investigate about the history of their physical and mental conditions after darting. They also should try to find the cause of deaths of all collared tigers and should make a safe procedure and recommendations for future collaring practices for the elegant </span><span style="color:#000000;">Bengal</span><span style="color:#000000;"> tigers. Stopping research is not an option and unmonitored field research and research for ‘other agendas’ without true and complete conservation plan also will not help surviving the rest about 2000 tigers in the subcontinent.</span></span></span></p>

1 scatola di piselli finissimi<br />
Panna da cucina.</p>
<p>Preparazione : In una padella scaldare l'olio d'oliva con uno spicchio d'aglio in camicia. (Ricordarsi di toglierlo alla fine...). Quando l'aglio sfrigola, aggiungere il tonno precedentemente scolato dall'olio.</p>
<p>Dopo un paio di minuti aggiungere i piselli, e sfumare il tutto con dell'ottimo vino bianco, lasciar cuocere a fuoco lento.<br />
A cottura ultimata, aggiungere un po di panna per amalgamare il composto, scolare la pasta e farla saltare in padella.</p>

<p>Io non so che tempo faccia oggi in Italia : qui, come al solito, domina un cielo plumbeo. Mi pare quindi una giornata perfetta per proporvi la ricetta di una leccornia:  il caramello al burro salato, delizia  delle delizie che ha lanciato qui in Francia qualche anno fa, una  vera e propria moda. I libri su questo cremina si moltiplicano, tanto che io stessa, nel mio ultimo libro intitolato <a href="http://recherche.fnac.com/ia588400/Lucia-Pantaleoni" target="_blank">Madeleines</a> che vi ho presentato qualche tempo fa, propongo le madeleines con caramello al burro salato…<!--more--></p>
<p>Ma andiamo al dunque: di che cosa si tratta esattamente? Semplice: zucchero, panna e burro…salato. E questa del burro salato è un’invenzione veramente mitica, a parer mio. Infatti, oltre ad essere delizioso spalmato su fette di pane tostato su cui poi successivamente stendervi anche del miele, è ottimo per la preparazione di frolle e in aggiunta alle  torte al cioccolato, perché direi che ne esalta e “magnifica “il sapore. Ma torniamo al caramello….“Che cosa ci faccio?” direte voi. Potete farcirci le crêpes e aggiungere qualche mandorla sfilettata e tostata, utilizzarlo come ripieno per cioccolatini “home made”, realizzare squisite torte abbinandolo, per esempio alle noci. La ricetta del caramello al burro salato che preferisco,  è quello del grande pasticcere <a href="http://www.christophe-felder.com/" target="_blank">Christophe Felder</a>:</p>

<p style="background:white;line-height:150%;margin:0;">Ponete lo zucchero a fuoco medio una casseruola che agiterere spesso in modo che lo zucchero si colori uniformemente.</p>
<p style="background:white;line-height:150%;margin:0;">Quando questo sarà diventato di un bel colore nocciola (attenzione che non scurisca troppo perché diventerebbe amaro), aggiungete la panna  in più volte e stando molto attenti agli a schizzi. Lasciare sobbollire per circa 2 minuti mescolando in continuazione.</p>
<p style="background:white;line-height:150%;margin:0;">Togliete del fuoco, incorporate il burro a pezzi, poi il sale.</p>
