Hello Penguins!

The features were successfully launched! Based on your feedback, we're still doing some tweaking - and fixing a few bugs, but things are looking good.
Next week, the CPIP blog will be closing for the time being. You guys have helped a lot--starting back in March with the Server Test and in April with all the feedback on the site redesign! The Club Penguin Team sends a huge 'thanks' for all the work and enthusiasm you've put into CPIP. I'll be posting a final blog next week but I wanted to give you the heads up.

You'll be able to leave comments until next Wednesday, and we still really want to hear your suggestions and ideas about how to make these features even better.

Until then...waddle on!

We woke up at 7:00 again today, and we got dressed really fast then went down for fruit and juice. We came back up at 7:30ish, and we packed everything up, dragged it all downstairs, and came back up to clean the dorm. I got everybody else's signatures and addresses and things also. Around 9:30, we went back downstairs for brunch, which was cereal, cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, bagels and milk. After we ate, the parents came for the awards ceremony. I'm SOOO happy!!! Jamie and I got the exact same award: Best Friends award!!! :D Yay Jamie and Kristy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D After that, we watched the slideshow and bought stuff at the candy counter.

When we left, we were really sad and were hugging Danish. We stopped on the way home and got McDonald's cheeseburgers and chicken strips. When we got home, Jamie couldn't stay over, so she left. I showed all my pics of camp to Mom and Dad and John, then got an AWESOME NEW back up hard drive!! No, seriously!!!! It's really shiny gold and looks like a block of gold water!!!!! I also got a new portable clock, but the gold hard drive is 500 Gig and REALLY PRETTY!!!!!! :D I'm happy now. :)

Yesterday we went blueberry picking. We picked around 10 pounds, which cost 15 dollars. The blueberries are very sweet.

My aunt from Wisconsin is staying with us. Yesterday Mom, my aunt, and I went to the mall. My aunt needed to buy a wedding gift for my cousin, who's getting married this evening. She bought it at Macy's (if I ever get married - which I'm not planning on - I'll register at Wal-Mart and Target :p) and we looked through clothes for a while (well, I did some, and then stood around while they did). But before that, we went to a bookstore :D We bought the third book in The Circle Trilogy to complete the set for a birthday gift for another aunt, who's coming on Monday. I had the first two in great condition because I bought them, borrowed the third from a friend, and then bought the three-in-one edition (it's hardback. How could I resist? ;)). I got a 2009 Prince Caspian calendar.

We went to a grocery store and my aunt bought ingredients for the dinner that she and my brother made - grilled salmon, grilled chicken, grilled shrimp-and-veggie kabobs, and squash souffle. We hardly ever buy/make any of that except for the veggies. It was good, although the salmon had a somewhat strange flavor I didn't care for. I think it's because it was marinated in wine (at the store). I usually like salmon. Mom made blueberry crisp.

After dinner we watched The Hunt for Red October. It's a little boring. There's way too much cussing to watch it without the profanity filter, and even with the filter, you could sometimes tell what they said by the movement of their lips (and no, I /wasn't/ trying :p) or by reading the captions it puts up (exluding the cuss word) when muting the sentence, so I stopped reading them. The muter does help. You usually can't tell what they're saying by watching them - this movie has a few unfortunate exceptions. Overall, without the cussing, I like it, but not enough to watch over and over again.

I should stop rambling...sorry.

Have an amazing rest of your life!

- WM

Ok, sorry about the mad man post! I deleted it. Anyways, I calmed down about missing the party. I am going to reschedule the party. I know that you probably think I am going to miss it again, but you can be sure I won't! Why? Well - because I'm setting up 2 alarm clocks to alert me 5 minutes before the party starts! Then I can be ready! So, your sure that I am going to make it to the party now, right? I hope! :) Here's the invitation:

It's tomorrow, so get ready! I would put it as Monday, but I might see Wall-E or go to a theme park that day. Anyways, I hope you can make it! :) Now, I will still not answer anything on the Win Stuff page or Contest page until tomorrow, still! So I guess you'll still have to be patient and wait for my responses on those comments.

Because. I'm trying to have a serious discussion, but here you are trying to be funny.

You're not funny.

I watched The Dark Knight (200eight) last night.

Directed by Christopher Nolan, the man behind Following (1998), Memento (2000), Batman Begins (2005), and The Prestige (2006), The Dark Knight has bolstered my admiration for Christian Bale as an actor and allowed me to warm to Maggie Gyllenhaal to a degree. I've always liked her voice but not really "her." I had previously been one rung below neutral in my regard for her. Now, it's a couple rungs above neutral.

I'm not going to write about this film as I have other non-sports films, but I would like to point out:

EDISON CHEN!!!!!! If you've seen the Japamerican version of The Grudge 2, then you'll recognize him.

If you've seen this film, you might remember seeing him and hearing him tell Morgan Freeman that cell phones are not allowed where Freeman is going. If you follow Hong Kong movie news at all, then you know about his photo scandal. The Dark Knight was in production between April 18 and November 11 of 2007; Edison's troubles weren't reported until January 2008.

Since I'm not going to elaborate on my reaction to the film (aside from enjoying it more than I thought I would, and not especially perceiving it to be as long as it is--152 minutes), I'll leave some links to other persons' thoughts:

1. Any Eventuality's comments on the inspiration for the character of Joker.

2. Pete Vonder Haar of Film Threat loved it. Find out why.

5. Mick LaSalle of The San Francisco Chronicle appears to be in the middle too. Find out why.

Yes! Today when I visited my blog I found this number underneath - 1001. I loved it, because it is exactly the same as the number written in the technical specification of the most beautiful fastest car I have ever seen - Bugatti Veyron.
I couldn't believe it! So fast, so many of you have been interested to read my posts. I assure you these few days with missing information doesn't mean that I have gave up, it's just I got lazy and tired of going to sleep late.

I want to apologize for not having written lately but it is because I am starting to show an interest into a Racing world. Not that I have started to watch TV all day long or going to the race days. I am looking for information about events, cars, competition, regulations, etc.

I know, I know it is not leaning towards a greener earth and lifestyle. But it is such a pleasure to go fast. The trembling over the bumps of the road with the car as one, the adrenaline pumpin' in your veins when you are overtaking the opponent. Every second anything can happen - I with my friends just visited the go-karts.

I bought a Sony PS3 a while ago. I love it. There are so many well written PS3 reviews out there, so there is no point in writing a review here. I've begun to use the PS3 more as a media server to stream media within my home.

[caption id="attachment_24" align="alignleft" width="256" caption="Sony PS3 Bluetooth Remote"][/caption]

At first I had issues with the PS3 remote controller. I was rather disappointed that I couldn't use a universal remote controller to control the PS3. This was the case because PS3 remote used bluetooth wireless protocol instead of infra red.

Lately, I've fallen in love with this bluetooth remote because it is a true remote controller. Unlike infra red remote controllers the devices could be any where and does not need to be lined up. This allows you to control your devices from another room without line of sight. This makes bluetooth protocol much superior and much more practical in this application.

When I first got my Sony PS3 I wished that it used an IR remote... now I'm waiting for the day all remotes are bluetooth. Sony has taken a step in the right direction in utilizing bluetooth for this remote, enhancing it's mobility. It's time others follow suit.

Last night, me and my family were watching Would I Lie To You?, a good quiz show where Lee Mack and David Mitchell lead teams competing in a quiz show where they must determine what is a lie and what is fact. Anyway, after that the Two Ronnies came on. It was two comedians, Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker showing us some of their favourite sketches from when they were on TV in the 70s and 80s. Their skectches were really funny, so I decided to look them up on YouTube. I have here a sketch I like, so watch it yourself and tell me what you think.

What, you thought I was kidding?

STATEN ISLAND (WABC) -- A 63-year-old woman is wanted for questioning in the fatal stabbing of a man who let her stay in his home in the Stapleton section of the Staten Island.

So it wasn't Stab Stab Stab Stab Stab Stab Die after all.

It was just Stab Stab Stab Die.

And there's this news:

Wade has a prior arrest for hacking a man in the head with a meat cleaver and threatening another with a steak knife, police said. She has numerous other prior arrests.

Emphasis added by me.

The online article doesn't have her photo.

The interesting thing about that photo is that someone made me look at it in the printed paper and said to me, "Doesn't she wear glasses?"

And it clicked.

I'd seen this woman around here several times.

Always asking for change.

I just saw her maybe 2-3 days before her inner Lizzie Borden decided to emerge!

I turned my back on her.

Good thing there wasn't a screwdriver for her to plunge into me!

Well I got back from camp today. It was an extremely memorable three weeks and I’ve made many

Well I got back from camp today. It was an extremely memorable three weeks and I've made many great friends that I hope to see again next year, if not sooner. Today I'm just trying to settle back into life at home and I'm not really making any plans right now. I need to readjust before thinking about what to do next.

I can, however, talk about what I accomplished at camp. For one, I started writing a song that I really like. It's heavy, somewhat catchy, flows well, and is overfilling with great riffs. I can't wait to continue working on it as well as refine what I have done.

The best part of camp no doubt was the performance at the end. The band that I performed with at camp decided that we should take a very poppy rock song and remake it into a hardcore punk song. I suggested "Wonderwall" by Oasis and the fun began. The two minutes on stage where we presented our cover to 700+ people was possibly one of the most fun moments of my life. The audience was caught off guard by the heaviness while still being able to recognize the tune.

I wanted the performance to be completely over the top as possible. I jumped off my amp, walked off the stage into the crowd, dueled with our other guitarist back to back, slid on my knees and basically had a blast. The performance was plagued by some technical difficulties (my guitar was hard to hear), but everyone I talked to afterwards said it was awesome to watch. If videos and/or pictures pop up online I'll be sure to share them here.

Oh and I'm going to an Opeth concert in September up in Massachusetts. I can't wait =)

If you havent heard of Robert Kyosaki by now, where the hell have you been? Some people think he's a fraud, some say he's a genius but weather you like him or not means nothing because he's rich and you're not. A little back story:

Back in 2003, I was 21 years old. At the time I was racking up debt like crazy due to my family having no clue about money, or financial education. I got a job working for a life insurance company for a short time and met a man named Raymond. Ray changed my life. While I was working for this company and by the way not making a single paycheck, I was apprentice to Ray. He was an older guy, maybe in his early 40's at the most and was of some unanounced latin decent. He told me stories of his past involving making and losing businesses and money and jobs. From his stories I did'nt learn much, I was young and ignorant and did'nt pay them much mind, but what I did pay close attention to was what he was trying to teach me about money and my future. Long story short, he told me about this book he was reading and how it was changing how he thought about money. He'd been wrong all these years and reading this book taught him why.

After leaving the job I was in the library one day, maybe a year or so later, and I ran into the business and finance section in my wandering. I decided maybe it would a good read, so I looked for the book and took it home. That night my life changed. I couldnt belive how simlple the whole thing really was, but how we just blindly look past the obviouness of it all.

The book may be fact or fiction, it doesnt really matter, the point is that the lessons it teaches about personal finance and money management are real, and correct. It got me started on my quest and made me want to learn. For these reasons I suggest everyone read the book, at least once.

             I never saw ray again.

Thanks buddy, I hope we meet again.

I woke up several times really early this morning, but didn’t fully wake up ’till 6:30 o

I woke up several times really early this morning, but didn't fully wake up 'till 6:30 or 7:00. We had to pack up our stuff and vacate & roll up our tents. The guy in the truck came again, this time bringing breakfast instead of dinner: danishes, cereal, and milk. Once we were finished, we got our stuff and walked the whole way back. We LITERALLY had to walk through muddy streams in the woods while carrying all our stuff!

Once we FINALLY got back, everyone was like 'Welcome back Cowboys!' when we walked in, but everyone was already making a beeline for the showers. :D Jamie and I unpacked after standing in front of the fan for 15 min then Jamie went to sleep again. *Sigh*. She's just too lazy to care about writing new posts for her blog... not that I'm complaining, cuz I'm getting more visits now that she's referring some ppl to my site for the camp story...

Anyways, after we changed, we went on a ride for an hour, and I rode Montana, who's sweet but likes to eat ;) Once we got back from riding, we changed really fast and went to lunch, which was mashed potatoes, rolls, meatloaf, cake and milk. It sucks that we didn't go back to the dorm, but then we played this game (which, by the way, was NOT on the schedule) where you try to do stuff while blinded by a blindfold. It's really hard! :D

The counselors were nice to us after that, and they gave us dorm time. I worked on my posts and read my 7th Harry Potter book for the 100th time. ;) We then got ready really fast and did our skits. Everyone loved ours! :D Afterwards, we all came up and changed for the dance. Also to pack(:(&:))

At the dance, Jamie and I went outside to read. As she says, we're geeks with style! :D I was just tired though... We also played card games like War and BS. I got Skittles, Airheads and Sierra Mist from the candy counter. More than once, Danish dragged me inside to dance. Malorie and Joe sand Tell Me More together and it was REALLY funny cuz they're cousins!!! At the end, Callum sand a sort of sad goodbye song called Time of Your Life while playing his guitar. I'm sad to leave all my friends. When we had to go to bed, Malorie turned out the lights and sung Leaving on a Jet Plane. Almost everyone was crying. :')

Danish(that's her nickname) woke me up this morning by squirting me with water. We had to get changed REALLY fast, so yeah. I'm happy, though. I got a nickname! It's Teddy Bear. :) Also, I made new friends! :D They are: Moose(nickname), Danish(nickname), Jenna, Stephanie, Grace, Carissa, Sox(nickname), Sadie, Haley and Ashley. :) Yi, Didi, Malorie and Abby are our AWESOME counselors!! :)

For breakfast today, there was cereal, pancakes and sausage. As soon as we were done, we went to electives. Me, Jamie and Danish all went to Capture the Flag. It was REALLY boring, hot, and muggy. Afterwards, we were going to do archery but our counselors were really nice and let us have dorm time instead! :D Yay! I also finished my dream catcher and it looks really pretty. :)

For lunch, we had fettuccini alfredo, garlic bread and peaches, but right before lunch, we made ice cream! :D It was awesome. Once we finished lunch, we went on a ride. This time I rode Cisco and Jamie rode Blackjack. Switcheroo! ;) We finally went in the pool and played Marco Polo. No offense Jamie, but you really stink at Marco Polo. Jamie got into my gigantic duffel bag after we changed and Danish and me dragged her around the room. This big black dog named Mr. Oleson tried to help her. :) It was so cute!!! :D Once she recovered, (;)) we had to pack for the camping trip. It was a really long walk, and my duffel dug into my shoulder. Once we got to the camp site, there were hot dogs, chips and milk. After dinner, we played Big Booty and then I read a little.

Later in the night, we made S'MORES!!!!!!! :D A quote from Jamie: 'Kristy, you make a mean s'more!!!' :D THen there were scary stories. I won't write them all here, but I'll make a tab eventually called 'Scary Stories' and write down all the ones I can remember. Some stories were really funny, but some were really scary. AFter we got to the tent, Jenna, Jamie and Stephanie all went to sleep almost immediately. The rest of us played Never Have I Ever and Would You Rather. After a while of just laying there, I finally got to sleep.

It's crazy day! :D I'm really happy, cuz now I can have an excuse to wear my polka dot tank and crazy hat! For breakfast, there was bagels&cream cheese, cereal and cinnamon rolls. When we were done, we had dorm time to practice our skits and hang out.

We changed into gym shoes then went to the bench circle for the Silly Olympics. We did dizzy baseball, egg toss and sack race. When we got back, we had lunch, which was turkey, biscuits, mashed potatoes, and chocolate cake. After lunch, we had to stay downstairs until 2:08 :( It's hot down in the Ranch House.

We went on a ride at 2:30. I rode Blackjack again. :) We went in the pool after, which was nice, and we played the game from yesterday. We had to get out a little early though for dinner. There were tacos, milk and this AWESOME banana pudding! :D

After dinner, we went to electives and chose from 3 activities. I chose making dreamcatchers, and there's a really cute one I made that has fuzzy, chunky, white edge and a bright purple web. Once we were done with that, everyone did their skits except our group, a group from the Wranglers, and a group from the Indians. Lastly, we came up to change, shower, hang out and go to bed. I was SO happy though! We got flashlight time!!! :D Yay! Malorie told a new story about Eduardo. :) It was funny. ;) Also, I was surprised how fast I got to sleep. :D

Today, the first thing we did was go on a breakfast ride. I got an awesome horsie named Blackjack! When we got to the camp site, breakfast was doughnuts, cereal and milk. We even made a game out of tossing spoons into the dirty spoon bucket. ;) On the way back, Blackjack was just an angel.

When we got back to the dorm, we practiced our skits and apparently NOW I had to change from Beast Boy to Superman. This is SO annoying. I've changed FOUR DIFFERENT TIMES now. We were gonna swim, but we only had like 15 min before lunch, so we hung out. Lunch was breadsticks, mostoccoli, and pudding. After lunch, we worked on our skits more then went on a treasure hunt. The treasure was just popsicles. :(

At four, we FINALLY got to go in the pool! :D We played Marco Polo and Sharks and Minnows. It was SOO much fun! :D When we got out for dinner, we had to change REALLY fast! For dinner, there was chicken patties, fries and canned peaches. After we finished, us cowboys went outside and everyone else followed. We were divided into groups for activities, and I tie-dyed a tee. Once we finished, we played Baby and Uncle Sam. THen tie-dye people went inside followed by Jamie's candle making group.

Soon after we had our snack of rice krispy treats and juice(why do I explain the food? :\ Oh, well...), we went upstairs for dorm time. I changed and worked on my posts(TA DA!). I also finally got to read a little for the first time in 3 days! :D YAY!!! We didn't get flashlight time tonight, though... :(
