After viewing numerous U-Tube videos, and becoming disguised with the activities of this organization, I found another strange cult that strives to teach Satanism under a strange name.

Speaking to those who lack general knowledge and require a figurehead dressed in a Klu-Klux-Klan type outfit with a inverted cross.

So onward another organization marches, attacking La Vey and yet adhering to some sense of Satanic Falsehoods by publishing and promoting stupid doctrines reminiscent of the Church of Satan, well it is expected from the name Church of Satan Protestants can you say coattail riding by the name.

The Temples of Satan is dedicated to taking the practice of the Satanic lifestyle into the future.

To this end, the Temples recognize Satanism as a fluid system that adapts to the condition of humankind. Much of our future success lies hidden in our forgotten past.

Occultism is overly concerned with being politically correct or, they are afraid to let go of the doctrines of newer religious teachings that warn them of a terrible fate in Hell that awaits them after death.

Our Satanic Ancestors did not want us to go underground! They wanted us to rule the planet and take control from those who called themselves Christians, Muslims, and all other 'spiritual' religions that suppressed human nature.

Our Satanic Ancestors envisioned a time when they could practice in the open and take their rightful place in society.

The Temples of Satan is also dedicated to the rediscovery of our past in order to better move into the future and take our rightful place in the societies of mankind.

In the past magicians and sorcerers used their skills to change everything from the weather to the fate of kingdoms. The ability to harness this energy and apply effective magic has been greatly diminished over the centuries. Few are left that are able to apply magic to its potential.

Magic is as natural to the Will as breathing is to the body. For the Satanist, applying the Will should come naturally without fearing what others will think of them.

It is a surprising fact that many Satanists have never engaged in the purposeful application of magic either as a solitary practitioner or with other Satanists.

Most of today’s textbook Satanists lack the ability to perform even the easiest of spells, because they lack the ability and/or the proper education that would allow them to fully comprehend the rituals and components required to cast or conceptualize such spells. The Temples of Satan will provide a positive forum for discussion and education for the Satanist in order to better prepare its members to be their own personal path to discovery of Satan.

There have always been those that have been willing to stand in the face of terrible consequence and proclaim their Satanic beliefs. Each of these people had their differences in approach to the Satanic philosophy.

Even though individual Satanists do not agree on every detail (why would they?), each of them still provided those of us in the modern day with a brick that would pave the road to Satanism becoming an accepted religion and way of life. It is an honor to continue this tradition under the banner of the Temples of Satan.

Modern Satanism has been coming apart at the seams due to internal conflict, misrepresentation, and a simple dilution of its foundations.

It has lost itself in many ways. In order to rebuild, the Temples of Satan returns to the past. New World Satanism is simply a return to the Old World Satanic Heritage. It is a return to the days when being a sorcerer really meant something, something to be respectfully fearful of.

The Satanist should not be feared because of false rumors of child sacrifice and molestation. The Satanist should be feared and respected for their ability to change society and the environment around them.

Currently, Satanism's greatest enemy is the 'Satanic ego'. Many Satanists have taken the concept of ego to the point of extreme where it is no longer a benefit.

The Temples of Satan encourages the fulfillment of the individual ego, but only so long as it is healthy. Individualism is revered among Satanists (in theory!). Why then, is there so much conflict over personal approach to a philosophy that respects the individual and it's right to express itself? New Satanic organizations appear frequently. Why is this so? The legitimate ones are founded because existing organizations do not fulfill the Satanist in some way or another. This stems from Individual expression. Each Satanic organization contributes to the lifestyle in one way or another.

Those that oppose Satanism have little reason to expend any energy to destroy us. Satanists argue so much over small things that our greatest threat comes from inside our own ranks!

A Satanic Individual is strong, but strong Satanists acting in concert are infinitely stronger! The Temples of Satan is looking for dedicated individuals that are able to accept the individual differences of other Satanists and committed to the future of Satanism.

One must simply grasp and conceptualize Satan as the formidable ruler of Earth and herald his application of magic and approach this as a personal journey, we are willing to partake on with you as the individual.

Opinion of The Church of Satan and LaVey

The Temples of Satan recognizes the Church of Satan as an “inferior organization”, which fell at the death of Howard Stanton LeVey.

The Church of Satan wields the terminology “Pseudo-Satanism” and yet with few if any logical doctrines they truly should look at themselves in the mirror.

La Vey did bring awareness however he cannot be credited for Satanism, nor does he exemplify anything other than a bitter old man caught in something he could make a buck or two from.

Simply put La Vey or Modern Satanism isn't welcome in the Temples of Satan.

Our teachers hand picked from various paths have far greater knowledge than The Church of Satan, or its current hierarchy, knowledge was acquired by continued pursuit of information on a historical basis and research which we often share with general membership.

We do not recognize Modern Satanism; however we do not follow or teach La Vey or any of his teachings in our doctrines, nor do we subscribe to the “Own God” theology.

Desde hace un tiempo ha resurgido un impulso en la reivindicación de los pueblos originarios, no precisamente esto nació de funcionarios u organizaciones políticas o gobiernos, sino que los pueblos originaros se han organizado en comunidades y comenzaron a alzar la voz tranquilamente pare decir de una vez y para siempre "Aca estamos nosotros , queremos reconocimiento y respeto" , luego vinieron las leyes , los programas , y demás por parte de de los gobiernos de los paises latinoamericanos, pero prefiero referirme a la Argentina, si bien no existen soluciones, no existe un programa real para la inclusión total y el reconocimiento de estos pueblos, la situación hoy tiene olor a cambios a cambios de perspectivas y preconceptos que la sociedad tiene de los mal llamados "indios".

Hoy día gran parte de la sociedad reconoce el valor y la contribución de los pueblos originarios para el desarrollo de la memoria histórica de una sociedad, la cultura y la pluralidad.

Básicamente lo que debemos aspirar es a reconocer a los aborígenes como pueblos realmente, como pueblos dentro de esta sociedad, y eso debe reconocerse desde la sociedad y desde los gobiernos, son nuestros connacionales y por lo tanto ciudadanos argentinos, ellos no reniegan de su nacionalidad pero de nada sirve la nacionalidad si la nación te ignora, por eso los pueblos deben ser reconocidos con sus tradiciones, creencias, cultura e idioma.
Porque reconocer como comunidades dentro de la sociedad a las comunidades alemanas en cordoba, y no reconocer la pertenencia de lo mapuches, tehuelches, pehuenches en la patagonia, los qom toba en el chaco? No digo que las comunidades de inmigrantes no deban ser reconocidas ni mucho menos, voy al punto de porque no reconocer a pueblos que existen desde mucho antes que se forme el estado argentino y desde mucho antes que los españoles pisen tierras americanas.

Por eso mismo y por mucho mas, quiero con este mensaje reivindicar la pertenencia y la permanencia historica de las culturas originarias, su lengua, su historia, sus tradiciones.
Existe una riqueza cultural que no podemos obviar y son muy importantes para construir la identidad argentina, porque todavía no tenemos muy claro lo que es la identidad argentino o miento?
Cuando logremos la unidad de nuestra sociedad incluyendo a todos, solo asi avanzaremos a un civilización desarrollada, hacer oídos sordos a las cátedras de derechos humanos que vienen de europa o del norte, la identidad la tenemos que construir nosotros sin ser dependientes mentales de nadie, desde afuera no nos van a arreglar los problemas internos, además como podemos valorar los consejos de afuera si los de afuera en su historia reciente están marcados por la barbarie, la guerra, el colonialismo, la explotación, la esclavitud y el imperialismo?

Entonces saludo los pueblos originarios de mi país, saludo a los pueblos originarios de latinoamerica toda, con la esperanza de la unidad , de una sociedad mas justa que incluya a todos, y por sobre todo una sociedad que se base en la igualdad y la moral no como esta que tenemos actualmente que se basa en la avaricia y la explotación.

Since I'm in Minnesota, I'll note the Minneapolis Star Tribune's nomination in the Breaking News, Large Site category. Their staff did some remarkable work telling the stories of the dead, injured and heroes in the I-35W bridge collapse in August 2007. The winners of the awards will be announced at the 2008 ONA Conference Awards Banquet next month in Washington, D.C.

4. Chris Brogan is passing along some great advice, as usual. In his post, "Twelve Ways to Sell Social Media to Your Boss," In #9, Brogan suggests "Blogging helps a business differentiate and establish a thought leadership position."

Couldn't agree more. I see this as particularly useful if someone on the Web is suggesting your company is not innovative, or doesn't care about x, etc... You can use your blog to let your "smart people" talk about some of the new things they're working on, discuss trends in the industry, or ways in which your customer service department is committed to providing top-shelf service.

Also interesting to note that the Huffington Post and Politico are one of the finalists in the General Excellence, Large Site, category, up against the likes of The New York Times, Reuters and CNN. Both are examples of new journalism outlets that have emerged thanks to the internet.

Ironically, the list fails to include the finalists in the non English-language awards (large and small). This was a new category added this year in recognition that the US does not have a monopoly on excellence in online journalism.

The winners will be announced at the 2008 ONA Conference Awards on September 13 Washington, D.C.

There is a movement in Theistic or Traditional Satanism to move away from the ranting and ravings of the egocentrically positioned Church of Satan and its membership moving towards the real path of Satan Worship.

Satan broke from such bonds as he gained power through his legions and legions of devoted and with such power, he turned about the fire that burned and began to cover the Earth with his magick, for those who could see through wide eyes.

Option #2 -- Specialized Lists for particular topics & Mini Demonstrations for Specific Tasks

We have used blogs effectively to create lists of resources for specific subjects, particularly for advanced classes.

Dr. Evans' Fundamentals of Public School Administration serves as an example. This blog was created for an in-person class, but this kind of blog would transfer well to an online class format.

We also created a blog for Dr. Garcia's Career Guidance class currently offered online. This blog includes a list of appropriate databases as well as search strategies and videos for specific tasks.

Brief videos work well if students have to find something specific. For example, Ms. Johnson's Methods of Design students needed subject specific Master's Theses. This blog contains a video about finding them using the worldwide electronic catalog, Worldcat.

Similarly, Dr. Chew's Criminal Justice Ethics course contains a specific video for finding government documents on current events topics.

Option #3 -- Specific Resources and Tutorials for Specific Assignments

Dr. Kusler's Business Communication class had several assignments requiring various resources. Her blog reflects the use of different resources for different assignments, incorporating keyword suggestions, source lists, and mini demos.

Option #4 -- Videos and Slides for Specific Assignments and Resources

Dr. Green's Professional Teacher Education class utilizes Mental Measurements Yearbook both online and in print. Instruction librarian Amanda Lemon created a blog for this class including both slides and video for explanation about how and where to use MMY.

Questioning one titles and affiliations that permeate Satanism I see many High Priests and High Priestesses who claim such titles like candy at the dollar store, and I am so distraught.

I find priests, and ministers to Satan hiding everywhere amongst the “bowels” of the Internet and most of these “so called visionaries” attain titles from places such as the Universal Life Church, I hold one of those worthless title cards also, however who is real.

Satan doesn't recognize this affiliation!

I no longer can accept those who carry false titles and false affiliations and this change occurs as leaders roost these Anton La Vey like “side-show” frauds out.

Standing on the ideology that Satan is real shouldn't his priestesses and priests be real?

The Temples of Satan is currently looking for those people who seek ordination and who seek Satan from reality perspective and truly are devoted to his cause.

I once carried a title but refuse to acknowledge it and I refuse to acknowledge those who are not legally ordained Satanists.

Go out to your organization and ask the leadership to produce the credentials and when they hide and avoid such answers failing to provide proof leave them immediately, Satan doesn't like liars when it comes to him, lie about anything else but him.

So many paths so little time, but Satan doesn't endure with a “House of Cards” nor could you expect to set one up for him,by allowing yourself as U.L.C. Priestesses and Priests to continue to mislead those who have came to Satanism to escape Modern Satanism, you are not welcome.

Dedicated Satanists will soon be able to achieve Priesthood and Priestess- hood and then you will honor Satan by the purity of your unconditional devotion, and of course truth!

Satanism is not a joke, it is a time honored tradition that pre-dates Christianity in its purest form, and if you simply look into the annals of history you will find those who were ordained in various ceremonies and circles, by elders and those than practiced before them.

Another Universal Life Church Organization springs from the ashes of Modern Satanism, Quoted by The Sinagogue of Satan as an affiliate church of falsehoods.

This is the official website of the Satanic Chapel (formerly known as the East Los Angeles Church of Satan) founded in the night of Halloween of 1999 (prior to the First Satanic Church by Karla LaVey) by High Priest Antonio Gonzales, a former member of the Church of Satan.

It will be succeeded by "Knife" Sotelo, also a former Church of Satan member. The Satanic Chapel adopts from the Universal Life Church but are a seperate entity from them, we are Satanic in nature and were also the first to coin the phrase "Processive Satanism".

We were established due to the lack of a Satanic presence and are dedicated to the study of Satanism and the occult sciences. It is highly supported by the Sinagogue of Satan though the Satanic Chapel functions according to the rules and regulations based on "The Satanic Bible" by Anton Szandor LaVey.

"Knife" Sotelo is the current administrator and is an ordained priest of the Sinagogue of Satan.

The Satanic Chapel is headquartered and operates in the heart of East Los Angeles and accepts members internationally, it is recommended to those applicants living in the vicinity of Los Angeles County or within a reasonable distance there of.

The “end all be all” of the the doctrines of the Sinagogue of Falsehoods.

A history of Tierra del Fuego and the Fuegians

In February of 2009 Barbara and I will go ashore at two locations in Tierra del Fuego, Ushuaia (Oo-shoo-wai-ya), Argentina and Punta Arenas, Chile, while on a 26 day cruise to South America and Antarctica.  In 1966, I visited Punta Arenas on my way back to the states from Antarctica.  At the time I wasn't much interested in the area, so I did not spend much of my time there delving into the history or geography of Tierra del Fuego. My best memory of the days we spent there in the hotel was the fabulous crab salad served in the dining room for a dollar.  It wasn't until we were stationed in Washington DC in the early 70's that I came across a book in the Alexandria, VA public library detailing the lives of the Indians that lived in the coastal areas of Tierra del Fuego.  It was a page turner, and at the time one of a kind.  The stories detailed in that one book stayed in my memory for many years, but in time began to fade until we booked this cruise.  Although I searched the Internet, I could not come up with anything until Barbara found a travel book that mentioned the title of this article "Uttermost Part of the Earth" written by E. Lucas Bridges.  When I did my next search, the title immediately came up for sale on Amason.com.  Thinking this might be "my" book I ordered a copy on that day, Thursday, and it arrived the next day!  After reading the first few chapters, I realized this was not the book I sought, but one of greater importance and detail concerning the lives of the "Fuegians", and one I found hard to put down. 

Quoting from the flyleaf now:

Rapturous praise met the publication of Lucas Bridges' marvelous chronicle of Tierra del Fuego when it first came out in 1948, and that praise has hardly abated these last 60 years nor has a book been written that supplants Uttermost Part of the Earth as the classic work on Tierra del Fuego and the little-known culture of the near-vanished Fuegians.

When the author was born in Tierra del Fuego in 1874, it was truly an unknown land.  On the southern coast was the small settlement established by his missionary parents; the rest of it, over 18,000 square miles of mountain, forest, marsh, and lake, was the hunting ground of fierce and hostile tribes.  Bridges grew up amongst the coastal Yaghans, learning their language and their ways.  In young manhood he made contact with the wild inland Ona tribe, became their friend and hunting companion, and was initiated into the men's lodge.  Surely the New York Tiimes' critic's prediction for this book on its first publication has come true: "I have no doubt that Uttermost Part of the Earth will achieve a permanent place in the literature of several subjects: adventure, anthropology, and frontier history."  Indeed it is still the essential work and indispensable introduction for anyone yearning to experience the breathtaking remoteness and stunning landscapes of this far-flung wilderness at the"uttermost part of the earth." End quote.

Realizing the few short hours we will be in Ushuaia would never allow us to appreciate fully what this wondrous land has to offer, the pages of this classic have certainly given me a better understanding of what the Bridges family and their descendants did to help the Yaghans and Onas people as they faced the onslaught of "civilization".

I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who is planning a trip to this "uttermost part of the earth".
