Question: I have been wanting to pick up a Joe Sakic RC Graded and there are many on eBay right now. I only wanted either PSA or BGS grading because those are the two I trust most. I was wondering how you can tell on these cards if they are reprinted or not? I saw your posts on reprints and the Patrick Roy was especially helpful but for some reason I am having a hard time here. I have included two auctions which I am interested in and am wondering if you could lend your expertise my way? Thanks, and thank you for the amazing blog site. Answer:Those two auctions look to be very safe to me.  If either of those cards were a reprint at the top PSA or BGS would state that its a reprint.  I don't remember hearing about Joe Sakic having any reprinted rookie cards out there.  His rookie cards don't seem to sell for a large amount of money so people really don't have a reason to make counterfeits.  Reprinted cards usually have a glossy finish, and the copyright date on the back in fine print is newer than the original card.  Thanks for the comments about the site.

Battle Stadium D.O.N is a Japanese fighting game for the GameCube and PlayStation 2 featuring characters from the popular anime and manga series Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, and Naruto, hence the D.O.N. This game received a rating of 28/40 from Weekly Famitsu.

 Gameplay

Similar to the Super Smash Bros. series, the players are put onto either a moving or non-moving stage. Borrowing from Power Stone^{[citation needed]}, these stages have some level of interactivity. Players must then fight their opponents. Unlike other fighters, D.O.N uses a combined health gauge, that is, decreasing the health of one player will in turn increase the health of the other players. Thus, in order for one player to win a fight, they must make their own health bar take up the entire bar. As such, a fight can potentially last indefinitely if no time limit is set. Also, there are in game techniques that can be pulled off (ie. Kamehameha for Goku and Summoning Jutsu for Naruto) and supers that can transform the characters into a new form (ie.  Missions

The single player mode has the player fight through five rounds, 2 or 3 of which have missions with goals selected randomly. However, depending on the difficulty chosen by the player, different amounts of missions are given out with easy giving the least and very difficult giving out the most. Fulfilling the missions' goals rewards the player with coins that can be used in the slot machine available upon completing the fights. The slot machine is the way through which unlockables are obtained. There are also items which you can buy to help the characters in battle.

Jag har alltid velat åka och se just dom här Medeltidsdagarna, men vi har inte kommit iväg ännu. Jag vill ha barnen med mig, och hittills har dom varit lite för små. Men nu är dom så pass stora att jag tror att vi alla kan få ut något av den resan.

Gubben i familjen vill se riddarspelen, tjejerna vill se hästarna och jag vill uppleva atomosfären och den gamla sortens tid, om man säger så.

I had an odd experience yesterday. I was in a coffee shop with a friend. The seat I was in was exposed and I had a sudden thought in my head that if the place were to be flooded or a firestorm come through I would be right in the firing line. (I don't normally think these things).

As instantaneously as that thought arose, another also materialised and it said to me, "it's ok - you'd be alright. Even if such a thing were to happen you'd survive and be ok".

That got me thinking. My instinctive reaction to life is that I am a survivor. Does everyone have the same reaction? I asked my friend, O, what her response would be. Her answer? "Oh I'd know for sure that I'd die or be badly injured". We talked about it for a while. Her thought was that my reaction wasn't particularly healthy because it meant I might take uncalculated risks because "nothing could ever happen to me". But I don't believe I am like that. I am not scared to take calculated risks - such as trekking in winter in the Himalayas with experienced guides and the right equipment. But I wouldn't do any such thing without guides or equipment. I believe I'll be safe and put my trust in those whose responsibility it is to monitor and ensure my safety.

I happen to think my reaction is quite healthy. I don't think O's response is however. It is an interesting point to debate. I have no wish to go through life fearful of things happening to me. I used to walk my dog late at night in a rough area. Not once was I scared (see I had a big dog to protect me!) and I used to meet gangs of tattooed, beer swilling guys occasionally. I'd just say g'day to them and they'd say the same to me. Nobody ever hassled me. Now I wouldn't have been so blase about doing that without my dog with me. But nonetheless - if I found myself in that circumstance for whatever reason - I would still expect to be safe - but I'd be on my guard.

I'll go quadbiking (which causes quite a few deaths and disabilities) without batting an eyelid (but I will wear a helmet). I'll travel alone in India without a second thought - but I am wary. When you are a woman on your own you can either stay home and never budge out of fear (and being home is no guarantee of safety either) or you can be smart and sensible and go out and do what you want to do.

I feel great gratitude to my parents for giving me a safe environment to grow up in. Its impact on my life is something I hadn't really pondered until now. O has always thought she could potentially end up the victim of a serial killer or a murderer. I just assume that sort of thing will never happen to me. Isn't that what most people think? That will never happen to me?
