Jedenfalls war besagter Hoja letzte Woche in einem von mir belegten Proseminar zu Gast - und berichtet in der heute erschienenen NN darüber. Ich werde namentlich zitiert, allerdings mit der folgenden Darstellung:

Non abbiamo fatto in tempo a finire la distribuzione, e vi assicuriamo che 10.000 copie sono davvero tante, che ci siamo rimessi subito al lavoro con la scelta degli artisti e delle opere da inserire nel sommario di giugno. Tod woke up at 6:13AM with only one thing on his mind.

The open market was calling; calling Tod in the morning.

So Tod put on his best tie and his best socks and his best eyes and towed his best prismatic cart behind him and headed out to the open market.

At the market the hens were clucking and the vendors, hawking their latest goods.

Tod was busy at a fruit vendor picking out colourful and sweet delights. He's  tapping at a large watermelon; $15 / lbs.

The morning crowd was already packing into the open market. They all knew that the morning was when the picking was the best and the calling most urgent.

The chaotic functionality of the open market would have brought a smile to any Anarchist's face. Tod was but a red speck, a prominent looking speck among the more conservatively dressed morning-grannies, but just a speck nonetheless.

Tod is at a vegetable vendor now. A bundle of Ipomoea aquatica, only $10. He puts two into his best prismatic cart.

He had everything he needed and wanted today. His tie, immaculately arranged when he left his house, was now hanging a little off kilter. Normally, that would bother him but today wasn't a normal day.

Today was open market day.
