El Hombre Bicentenario.
En esta película nos muestran un posible futuro [no muy lejano] donde un androide es el protagonista de la historia y que al principio de la película es comprado por una familia para ocuparlo en sencillas tareas del hogar.

Yo Robot.
La historia se desarrolla en el año 2035, en el cual los robots son un ítem y los humanos los usan a diario, tanto que les tienen una gran confianza. Entre sus ventajas, estos robots humanoides tienen un software que se actualiza inalambricamente.

Inteligencia Artificial.

Después de estos ejemplos, entramos en materia y ahora les pongo la imagen de un robot capaz de expresar emociones con gestos que reproduce moviendo su cara, muy similar al robot de la última película mencionada.

Se llama Nexi, y fue creado por el MIT (Massachussets Institute of Technology, Estados Unidos), puede encuadrarse en la categoría de robots humaniodes sociales, esto es, robots cuyo aspecto se asemeja al nuestro, y que además poseen ciertas habilidades para interactuar con las personas. Posee varios motores en la cara, manos y cuerpo que hacen que sea capaz de imitar el comportamiento de los seres humanos y así expresar emociones de una forma muy humana.

El robot tiene el tamaño de un niño de tres años, es capaz de levantar 4 kilogramos y medio de peso y posee movimiento autónomo, una cámara en color en cada ojo, y una de infrarrojos en el centro de su frente para poder detectar posiciones en 3D (la tecnología de infrarrojos le permite conocer la distancia a los objetos que ve) y poder crear mapas 3D para navegar con sus cuatro ruedas que le permiten moverse por el entorno. Además posee cuatro micrófonos para detectar de dónde vienen los sonidos.

Como vemos, la tecnología va dando pasos agigantados, primero el proyecto del robot ASIMO de Honda y ahora el robot emocional...

In 1959 the MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory was founded on the principle that vision, robotics, and language are the keys to understanding intelligence, and ultimately how the human mind works. The early work in AI pioneered many of the computing practices that are now standard in the field of computer science.

Founders included Marvin Minsky, John McCarthy (who invented Lisp) and a talented community of computer programmers. In the 1950s - 1970s, they shared a computer room with a computer (initially a PDP-6, and later a PDP-10) for which they built a time-sharing operating system called ITS.

MIT was at the forefront during both the exciting early days when it seemed Artificial Intelligence was right around the corner, and through the dark period when many had given up on the promise of artificial intelligence.

Nah, bagaimana kalau yang melakukan itu robot?

Hm.., memangnya ada robot yang bisa meniru ekspresi wajah seperti halnya manusia?

Ada.

Namanya Nexi. Robot ini pintar meniru eskpresi wajah manusia. Ia dapat terlihat sebal, marah, sedih, gembira, dan ekspresi lainnya.

Wajah Nexi dibuat seperti halnya wajah manusia. Nexi punya alis, kelopak mata, bola mata, hidung, dan tentu saja mulut. Nexi menggunakan semua bagian wajah itu untuk memperlihatkan ekspresi yang ``dirasakannya''. Oya, di dahinya ada kamera kecil untuk merekam keadaan sekelilingnya.

Selain pintar meniru dan memperlihatkan berbagai ekspresi wajah, Nexi juga dapat melakukan beberapa kepintaran lain. Nexi mampu menggerakkan kedua tangannya. Ia dapat mengangkat benda berbobot hingga sekitar 5 kilogram.

Untuk bergerak, Nexi menggunakan roda. Meski belum dilengkapi kemampuan berjalan menggunakan dua kaki seperti halnya ASIMO, Nexi sudah lincah bergerak ke mana saja.

Oya, Nexi dibuat oleh para ahli robot dari MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). Untuk bagian kepala, mereka membuatnya bekerjasama dengan para ahli dari Xitome Design. Sedangkan bagian tubuh, dikerjakan bekerjasama dengan Laboratory for Perceptual Robotics UMASS Amherst.

Como podeis ver, tanto el movimiento como la facilidad de expresión están muy conseguidos.

La construcción de androides es, a pesar de lo que pueda parecer, importantísima para la integración de la robótica en la vida cotidiana. Quién sabe, quizá dentro de veinte años podamos disfrutar de simpáticos trabajadores sociales electromecánicos.

มนุษย์มีต่อเธอ เพื่อค้นหาวิธีที่จะทำให้เธอสามารถอยู่ร่วมกับมนุษย์ได้อย่างสมบูรณ์ ซึ่งจากคลิป
