Terence Hannum: Via Negativa LP (powder blue)

What a beauty this second vinyl release from Terence Hannum is.. Hannum, maybe better known as a member of Locrian (one of my all time favorite bands), has once again managed to put together astonishing album. 59 more words

Kosmischer Läufer: The Secret Cosmic Music Of The East German Olympic Program 1972-83 - Volume 2 LP (red)

Hmm.. not bad ending for this week. This weird “olympic-ambient-kraut-electronic” album came today. Like Volume 1, this is very twisted/interesting record. The Secret Cosmic Music of the East German Olympic program 1972-83, like the title says and I have nothing more to add. 59 more words

Bat Manors: Literally Weird LP (translucent purple)

This lovely indie rock/folk album came today. Very pleased with this one I am. Some strange way this record sounds very familiar though I never before have heard this (I mean before I purchased this from BandCamp and got those mp3 files). 35 more words

Spiral Shades: Hypnosis Sessions 2xLP (clear)

Got this beauty from RidingEasy Records today. Even thought there are dozens and dozens bands sounding 70s era sabbath/heavy/doom/sludge/psychedelic/occult/rock, this sounds.. hmm different (read fresh). There’s something magical on this record and you can’t ignore the fact that these two guys live thousands of miles away from each other (one in Norway, other in India). 81 more words
