Assalamu Alaikum,

I recently started a class on Tawheed in Spanish for Muslims. My Spanish is not as up to mark as it used to be but Alhamdu lillah the people got the message of Tawheed. In any case I realize I have to write down everything I want say for the other classes inshallah ta'ala! But all in all it was good. The classes are on Paltalk between 11 and 11:30 Trinidad time. Tomorrow I am going to do something small about folowing the Sunnah by Shaikh Al Albani. And then the other weeks the Three Fundamental Principles, the four rules and then what is compulsory on the Muslim in terms of belief. And that will take place for four days Monday-Thursday. Inshallah I will also try to add a some sections in Spanish on this blog itself so that Spanish speakers can benefit inshallah. Ask Allah to make it easy to give da'wah in that language Ameen.

the classes is getting harder and harder everyday. Especially my Com 1004 homework because it seems as if for that class I have like essays everyday. I have absolutely no idea how I'm supposed to do in that class. It seems as if I have just been slacking off lately. I don't think that I will get a good gpa this quarter. I haven't done a single assignment in my library class. I just feel as if Im not doing good in my classes. Hopefully, this would change as the quarter goes on or else I won't pass my classes. I hate that Im getting a lot of assignments and it feels as if the assignments keep on piling.

Here are a few more cards from my Birthday Stamp-A-Stack! I struggle with finding suitable card designs for men, so I included a design that was masculine by nature:

Stamps: Lovely As A Tree, Weathered BG, It's Your Birthday
Ink: Really Rust, Chocolate Chip
Paper: Really Rust, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Kraft
Accessories: Sponge Daubers, Misc. brads, Ticket Corner Punch

I used the sponge daubers to pick up a little of the Really Rust and Chocolate Chip ink and very lightly tapped it all over the tree branches. I think it turned out great!

Here is a cute kid birthday card. Cased from a card by kandicejo on SCS. You can see her card here.

Stamps: Wild About You, Sanded, Phrases For A Friend
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Brilliant Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black
Paper: Wild Wasabi, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Spiral Punch

I am all about making clean and simple designs. I see *gorgeous* cards that are incredibly intricate on SCS all the time. I appreciate how beautiful they are. I just know that I don't have the time or the patience to sit down and make a card like that on a regular basis. Plus, I just got a Cricut Expression and as soon as this semester is over, I'm actually going to take it out of the box. That's right.... I've had a new toy in my possession for two weeks and it is STILL in the box! I have big plans for that baby, though. I'm going to be going to my local Lowe's store and buying some of that repositionable vinyl cling that is all the rage on the Cricut message board. I'm going to make all kinds of cool things!!!!

If you have a Cricut or an Expression and you have a favorite tip, trick, or piece of advice, I'd love to hear it! I plan to share lots of cool projects as soon as I get the hang of that baby. Soon.......

I've been working on these designs for what seems like forever! I still have one that I am not entirely happy with, but my SAS is this Saturday and I really need to get prepping. The one I'm not happy with is on another post. I'm hoping to have a chance to come up with a substitute for it because I'm just not feeling it. The Season of Joy stamp set is *so* versatile! I am so glad I decided to get it out of the Holiday Mini! I'm also loving the soft sky/basic gray color combo!

I'm working hard at designing the cards for the upcoming SAS. I thought maybe you'd like to see the cards you'll be making at this event. If you have not signed up yet, it's not too late! Contact me if you'd like to sign up to attend this event OR if you'd like to purchase a SAS kit to be mailed to you!

The first card we will be making is so pretty! I wish I could take credit for the design. I saw this on Split Coast Stampers and knew it would make a great SAS card. The SCSer who designed it is Becky (beccabatgirl) and she was kind enough to allow me to use this design. You can see her card here. Thank you, Becky, for the awesome design and for allowing me to use it!

Stamps: The Snowflake Spot
Ink: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, White Craft
Paper: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Whisper White
Accessories: Soft Sky Double Stitch Ribbon, white embossing powder

Soft Sky was sponged on the embossed snowflake image. It is a really pretty card!

Another card design for the Holiday SAS:
