Ok first of all...I'm kind of starting to like N and V together. She's gotten less annoying and we see her less as a threat to S as she used to be and more of a good friend to D. It was pretty awesome to finally get the back history - i never suspected the way shit went down but it all makes sense and also brought us back to the night that S slept with N when he was with B. It was really sweet to see S make things right with her mom and the dude's family - you kind of think DAMN! Lilly is a big fat bitch (cue that song from South Park "Kyle's Mom is a big fat bitch") when she threatens to send Serena away to reforming school after watching Georgina's blackmail.

I am however super pissed off for Dan falling for Georgina's bullshit lie about why she changed her name. I can not...wait to see shit go down next week - if you saw the previews you know what I'm talking about.

Finally - no lil J (thank god i was getting tired of her bad attitude) and a lil more Lily/Rufus love. Who totally got all reminiscent when Lisa Loeb (as herself!!) sang "stay" one of my FAVORITE songs of all time.

I digress...was NOT too impressed with the one line that was in Rufus's hit song. Kind of lame. And his voice? A little too....i dunno. Abrasive. But then I sense he's an actor not a musician for his day job ;)

So...what do you think is going to happen next week? S and D get back together after he does the dirty with Georgina aka Sarah aka ONE CRAAAYYZAAAYY BIATCH! Rufus and Lily get it on but does she get married (it ended with them kissing..oohhhh la laaaaa) (i think she does...poor poor heart broken Rufus...) and if you go look at the fotos on the cw website....they show pictures of a new girl...Amelia. I wonder who that could be!!!

Trying not to spoil it but hopefully it's not still on anyone's tivo. This is the one show that even if i'm not home to watch it at 8pm, I watch it before I go to bed on Mondays...which may be the explanation as to why I didn't get to bed till 11pm. Whoops??

Okay...i'm going to start with Heidi. YOU MOTHER FUCKING IDIOT!!! OMFG!!!! WTF!!!!! YOU IDIOT!!!!! At least we know her and Spency-poo are still together. What a fucking dumb blonde I mean honestly....you left. Your boss. High and Dry and didn't even fucking call??? Yeah don't expect to have your cushy job anymore you whore...at least you'll have more time to work on your "musical" career - HA!

And Lo! When did you become such a manipulative wench!?! I mean honestly..."I want to be her friend too..." NO YOU DON'T!!! Guh! Audrina, I still you look slightly like a zombie with a bad ass tan, and your eyes stiill bug the crap out of me but seriously...you're better than those broads and LC?! GET A SPINE!!! This episode? Kind of a dud. Definitely not as awesome as the end of last season.

I want to say I won't watch Season 4 but it's a train wreck and I just stop watching. It's so bad. I hate myself every day for it.

Okay...when did Lo become sucha  whorebag?? I really want to know because I liked her. I thought her snark was fabulous - especially because most of the time it was in relation to Heidi. But really? The bitchy looks? The "iiiii'mmm huunnngrrry" 30 seconds after you get to the studio because you don't really want to hang out with Audrina?

However, Buzz Sugar told us today that they have signed on for a FOURTH season!!! As if we haven't had enough already. What do ya'll think is going to happen in the finale? I mean clearly Heidi takes Spencer back since we still see them ALL THE GOD DAMNED TIME

Gossip Girl

Ok, there are so many things I want to say about this show but really it culminates in overarching fact....this show. is fucking. awesome.

Spoilers below in case you haven't seen yet...

Okay so I missed the first fifteen minutes but I sense the only thing that really came from it is:

1. Dan confides in "sarah" who is really Georgina - btw I can NOT wait for that shit to hit the fan given what I've read about next week/seen in the previews....

2. Dan sees Jenny's boyfriend Asher kissin' on lil Eric...Serena's lil bro.

Then enter G who invites herself to dinner with the fam...and dropkicks Eric out of the closet. And I think, over the entire episode after that all comes out...the family does good with bonding together and embracing the idea of family and love and compassion. It was very touching to see especially when Lilly finally apologized to Eric for her initial reaction.

3. I think lil J kind of had it all coming to her. I mean she compromised her integrity, her fathers respect...i mean. Not gonna lie but she kind of had it coming to her  i mean the girl steels her friends mom's valentino dress, lies about it. Lies to her dad about her boyfriend who's only dating her to put on a straight vibe not because he would really date her...then she lies to her friends about having sex with him, then she gets caught and her whole world tumbles around. I'm very curious to see what's next with her....

4. Finally...the final scene. Did S really kill a dude with G? Is the dude still alive? Why does Serena end up taking this HORRIBLE downward spiral in the next episode? What happens to her and Dan? What happens to Georgina? Omgomgomgomg...

SO MUCH SUSPENSE!!!!!!!!!!!

And i didn't even talk about the fact that Lily and Rufus have been chatting again...I mean we should all know (about them...) that you never get over your first love...especially in this case because come on! Why else would she keep him around?! Jebus Rufus!! SMARTEN UP!!!

Gossip Girl

1. I was NOT expecting N and V to hook up. I kind of like them together but I looovveeedd the ending with B and D seeing them get into the car together. It's always nice seeing those two bond because if nothing more than it makes B seem just a wee bit more compassionate.

I didn't like Nate in the fall but I dunno, he's kind of been growing on me since he's been less of a Frat Boy Flop kind of guy and more "do what evs I want" type of dude. I mean that picture? Quite swoon worthy indeed.

2. Ok how CRAZY is this Georgina girl? Honestly? She's pretty effed up. I don't trust her. Like S, I probably wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her. What is this shit that she's going to pull with Dan? Seriously...bitch don't mess around!

3. Oh Chuck Bass.....*swoon* He plays the "protective" big step brother quite well. I'd be damn lucky if my step brothers were half as cool as he is but unfortunately I got a couple of nerdy younger ones. Oh well. Does anyone else still want to see Blair and Chuck get together for good? I mean COME ON!!!! Though I would HATE to see them get into a fight given their matching vindictive, manipulative, Get-whatever-I-want personalities...

All in all? Great episode! I can't wait for next week when a. We find out that Serena Has a Sex tape?! *gasp!* and b. find out who's gay (i suspect Eric - Serena's lil bro).

Finally...The Hills...

Ohhh where oh where to begin. First of all, why did you whorebags invite Audrina to live with you if you were just going to treat her like shit?

Finally....why I hate UPS...

Finally, I'm having a MAJOR beef with UPS in regards to my awesome green jacket from Target which would HAVE COME IN GOOD USE TODAY DURING THE RAIN...jacket number 1...got misdelivered to 608 21st Street, NE. Now without giving up my address, I live on a LETTERED street which may or may not rhyme with MY in the quadrant of SE. Now I don't know what kind of IDIOT it takes to fuck that address up not once...but TWICE...to the SAME WRONG address!!!! It was supposed to be delivered today...and what did I see??? This...

thats right...eff you UPS. Eff. You. And there WILL be hell to pay if my package isn't here tomorrow. Those jerkoffs owe me a phone call CONFIRMING my correct address by 1030am and if I don't get it? So help me...I will cut a bitch.

Anyhow, it's late and Lord knows I need my sleep for the sole purpose of being more functional tomorrow at work. Oh and Boston pals? I just bought tickets for Memorial Day weekend. Saturday night? 1. LC needs to get the eff over Brody. I mean they weren't dating. Sure they liked each other but they weren't together...I mean...that crap she pulled at the club is just petty.

2. How staged was it that LC and Stephanie were in the same class? Maybe it wasn't but come on. Fakity fake fake faaaaaaaaaake.

3. Those tears Heidi and Spencer cried when he moved out? Come on. We all know they're still attached at the hip. If you want to make reality television MTV at least make it REALISTIC...see?!

4. I adore Whitney but not gonna lie, I was totally waiting for her to fuck up at that fashion show like her and Lauren had done so many times before on shoots and everything. Though I suspect that may have been more Lauren than Whitney.

Synopsis of entire season?

Fuckers come together in Sydney. Parissa (P) falls for Dunbar(D) who already has girlfriend. Kelly Anne (KA) flirts with Dunbar. Dunbar plays both girls. Two blonde (blonde 1, blonde 2) girls that you can't tell apart who are both bitching about their boyfriends back home pick alliances with  P and KA.

[Insert EVERYONE ELSE GETTING DRUNK!!!!!!!! YEAHHHHHHHH PARTAYYYYYY!]

Blonde 1 cries a lot. KA stops spooning with D and moves onto the next bed with Cohutta (C). Blonde 1 leaves. Enter Ashlie (A). Somewhere in here they have a job. Somewhere in here they do work. A decides she wants a chance with D (WHO MIGHT I REMIND HAS A GF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111) . They get it on [insert "bow chicka bow wow" music here] BUT OH NOES D HAS A GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!

D keeps treating P, A, and KA like crap because he's a chauvinistic prick.  KA and C have a baby scare but YAY NO BABIES! A confronts D on treating her like a piece of sh!t and he's all like I HAVE A WOMAN! but A has already spread her legs and despite him being a prick, she'd likely do it again.

Finally, everyone leaves. Boo hoo - they're all crying. Wahhh. The craptacular season is over thank jebus.

Tonight? The reunion. Hopefully I'll watch this BEFORE the next season comes on, and well... I'm calling it now...half the show will be bleeped out. The other half will entail chair throwing and talking about D has a tiny you-know-what.

Last night, after i got home from happy hour with the coworkers where i may have spilled the NYC news - the possibility only - boyfriend and i had a chat. A chat about the job search and how he thinks we could both find jobs in NYC, and how CT most likely isn't panning out at the moment because it's a smaller market, but let's do NY. "DC has a lot of my past in it. Boston has a lot of your past in it. Let's go to NY and make our own memories. Make new memories in a new city that neither of us has lived in." I kissed him long after that because I've never heard a better idea. I love when he randomly does things like that that just remind me why I'm so crazy about him. NYC it is!!! Let the job search begin...

So after that conversation and finally watched The Pursuit of Happyness with Will Smith - zomg such a good movie and really showed the American Dream...how you can go from absolutely nothing to having it all if you work hard enough.  I also just loved the fact that it was Will Smith and his son playing the lead characters. Too cute!!!

So you know what that means - I came home, did some blog writing for the Other Blog, which I'm determined to make into a career by the way,  and after boyfriend showed me some news clips I missed out on (seriously a guy from ESPN should not be talking politics like he knows what he's talking about. I mean Huckabee? Winning New York? He was asked what states on the East Coast Huckabee could win...he tried saying New York then he corrected himself and said "in a primary" but I don't even think I would go that far...)  and then I put on the Gossip Girl Finale. (tear)

Synopsis?

Amazing episode. The thing I really like about this show is it gives you great entertainment while really giving you insight into the characters psyche's. I mean we all know Blair is a control freak. So seeing her react and breakdown when her world is turned upside down was incredible!  Also, it showed the strength in B and S's friendship when S was able to coerce her from not running away to France. She's got experience in this kind of stuff so i'm glad B took her word for it. I wasn't surprised that Jenny sold out B though, it'll be interesting to see if those two battle off for queen bee socialista role, and to see if Nate and Jenny get involved...now there's a scandal!

where do you think the Gossip Girl plot is headed when it comes back???

It'll be interesting to see where they take the plot next - Gossip Girl Report has an interesting post about how the writer's strike will affect GG. I'm not expecting any new episodes till probably the fall at the earliest. That makes me incredibly sad. However, between now and then mayhaps i'll try to read through the series...hmmmmm.

Onward!! So if anyone in NYC has advice where to look for a girl who would love to get into journalism or find a non-profit job since thats what i have experience in, let me know!

Eff that shit man. NYC is a faster course than Boston. She's going to be killed out there on that course - it's one of the tougher marathon courses. 5:24:00 or whatever it was time that she had...i predict 5:30 for boston. Pshhh. The least she could do is run it for charity! Come on!!!

I read an article that basically made me feel better about not going to the gym in the morning because apparently some people just aren't morning people. I no longer feel bad about sleeping till 7:20. so long as I can still get out of the house in an hour which is more of a feat on some days than on others.

Incredible episode.

Rufus and Lilly's goodbye...made me cry. There's something very youthful and idealistic about their relationship.

Blair is quickly becoming my favorite character - mostly because we've seen her throughout the season in all extremes - vulnerable as a daddy's girl, insulted by her mother, played by her boyfriend on her birthday and then falling for his best friend. And her style is incredible. She's a girl you love to hate.

I'm still pissed/annoyed however, that Blair and Nate got back together. BUT next episode should be incredibly interesting however- if only because Nate may or may not find out about her and Chuck's lil romp in the hay. My only really peeve with this episode, as with all of them, is really Vanessa's character. I just cross my fingers that she doesn't ruin things for Dan and Serena. Mostly because we can all relate to the former girlfriend/best friend and when we're dating a boy...love to hate her. But kudos to her for taking the money from chuck and running - i mean come on...blank tape? BRILLIANT!

The irony of Serena getting off for throwing the party not because of her honesty as she thought but because Mr. Bass called, is insane. All in all, another stellar job by Gossip Girl. I feel like we should all appreciate the youthful innocence of her and Dan's relationship.

If you didn't see the previews for next week...then you probably shouldn't read this per my new favorite website. The only real bummer, is that apparently season one, because of the writers strike, has been shortened to 13 episodes instead of the usual 22 which means next week = finale for season 1. At least now hopefully I'll get the chance to catch up on the books...

BAH! I need me some GOSSIP GIRL (well...Ed Westwick more specifically but i love them all!!!)

If a guy tells you he's in the KKK, he's shot someone, and then later tells you he has kids, and is STILL on national television...are you really inclined to believe him when he tells you #3? Probably not. But that doesn't mean I don't adore Isaac for the jokester he is. Because personally - i think he's the only cool one in the house.

Can someone please please please explain the Alex/Parissa thing? Because I don't understand WHY after he tells her...essentially, yes why yes i did like your ARCHRIVAL WHO YOU HAD SENT HOME better than you...why she'd still want anything to do with the aussie dee-bag. Honestly. I don't get it.

Thank god this season will be over in a couple weeks and then....it's onto those stupid challenge shows. The fights that go on in those shows are rather comical but I just don't know if watching it is worth my time or however many brain cells/iq points I might lose from watching it

But before they do, they go to a holiday party at Allie's McMansion (seriously..indoor pool? Is that really necessary in California????) and they have a conversation that goes a little like this (reworded by boyfriend's commentary)

clay: heh heh yeah sure.
Chrissy: It's wierd between us. I don't like it.
Clay: I know. Neither do I.
Chrissy: So like...what do you wanna do? I miss you. Blah blah blah. Wahhhh.
Clay: well i dunno. but here's not the place to talk about it.

Boyfriend tried saying you know, maybe if she spread her legs he'd go back. Turned out all it took was her proving she was still into him and not that Billy schmuck.

Apparently the two were seen dancing, kissing and generally "staying close" in Hollywood terms. Hmmm...does Brody have some competition for Lauren's heart? O.o this could get feisty on The Hills woo! Chrissy should know...that if you play with fire. You're going to get burned. If you make your bed and play with two boys...eventually you'll have to choose.

Still, break up scenes get to me. My last breakup was quite dramatic in itself. Lots of tears, many phone calls, hanging up, yelling, crying, slamming doors...metaphorically it...was..well I can't think of a metaphor. But it sucked. Most breakups do. That inspired my move to DC. I tend to runaway from those kind of things? Do i regret it? No. I don't think it would have lasted either way. Even if it did, i don't think I'd be as happy as i am now.

But, the saga of Chrissy and Clay continues and well...we'll see where it goes. Ahhh young love...

Anyhow, my boss decided to be lovely and let us off at 4pm... so i can go home, wrap some presents before work, finish packing and clean up house a lil bit before i have to go to work at 630. *sigh*

Ok now anyone who has been engaged...knows...that when you give the ring back...things don't go back to normal. Any time you're together then break up and then get back together....THINGS DON'T GO BACK TO NORMAL!!!

Julia Allison said something in her blog the other day about keeping relationships private...and I agree. I made a mockery of my relationship on my livejournal back in college and do i regret it?  I sure do. It made things about twenty times messier than they needed to be. But thats a different story.  Why don't these two Reality D LIST celebrity's stop annoying the general public with their constant need to throw themselves into the spotlight over petty crap that no one gives a shit about.

I mean clearly, their relationship is flawed. He's a controlling prick and she's a brainless piece of shit. So I mean...unless he gets over himself and she maybe grows a spine and some brains then my guess is that it won't work out.

But who am I to be giving relationship advice to these dee-bags.

P.S. that doesn't even LOOK like her..any guess as to what type of Plastic Surgery she got done this time between seasons????

I'm pleased that Jenah didn't get it. I think the girls were right when they were all like "well i think jenah is the weakest." I just hated her look.

Does anyone else think that Jaslene looks anorexic? i mean she is a model but Jesus, put some meat on your bones woman! Also - I am MORE THAN SICK of her "my life" crap - we get it, the only place that would host you is Wal*mart to show off for the white trash 13 year olds of America. That's great. But really, you're not that pretty and I think you suck. So get off my teevee and take some TOEFL classes bitch. Ugh. Okay that was a little harsh but I've had to be super nice to EVERYONE for the past 48 hours between work, the work party last night, work and then work at the gym tonight and I am high strung and tired and tired of being nice. So eff you Jaslene. I hate you.

I mean, i guess with this years winner, I wasn't entirely happy but i wasn't entirely pissed either if that makes sense. Of all the girls - better these two than say...Bianca and Heather. Cause they REALLY sucked. But i dunno neither Chantal nor Saleisha was super great. Neither of them were...awesome. I wasn't super excited about either of them so I didn't care except I was right. And so were all the people who told me so. Awesome

I must say though, Tyra was...just so god damned annoying in this episode. i hated the final fashion show - thought it was kind of funny when Chantal tripped the guy. *chuckle chuckle* But yeah, I think consensus, and please tell me if you disagree, that this season sucked  and Halle-fucking-lujah that it's over. Thank you TV Gods.

I love love love Chrissy. I think she's adorable. I want to be her BFF. I think her and Clay are cute. I adore this show...so so much. I don't know why, they're like ions younger than me...

The Wedding Is Off!!! 

Now that's....unfortunate.

 I am very excited that Lauren gets to go to Paris - i think she definitely learned her lesson. Though, Whitney's "OMG!!" was probably like the third take - they were probably like "you've gotta be...just a little more surprised than that honey."

I hate how Lauren plays dumb with Brody. She's the queen of mind games and i HATE her for that. It annoys the piss out of me. But man he was so cute when he was all like "I'm gonna miss you" and the goodbye kiss - which FYI stupid MTV losers hosting it, we all saw on the previews (well maybe I saw it when i was cleaning and saw the show...when it was on.)

Anyhow, the aftershow was lame - knowing season 4 would be happening is old news. and where's the news about speidi? I would have hoped they announced it there or at least given us some dirt about Brody and Lauren. THough we'll probably see them get together and have some tragic breakup next season when he can't keep his hands to himself. Thats just my best guess though.
