So off to the store my sister Ms C and I went in search of something for them to play with.  We scored this cute little splash pad like thing and as an added bonus it was Backyardigans which they both love.

It is so cute to see how different kids can be.  With just a little encouragement from my sister Ms L,  my Miss R jumped into the splash pad fun with both feet and Miss A had to check everything out about it first. 

Then my sister showed them how to try to drink the water.  That was fun!  

By the time Missy Moo was cold and over it, Miss A was starting to get into it!  She was having a good old time letting the water splash her in the face.  And her reactions were to die for!

We started our day off at home checking out what the Easter Bunny left there.

Her favorite was an bunny outfit for her baby.  Not what I would've guessed, but she loved it!  Maybe it was the fact it came with bunny ears to match hers.

 Afterwards we went to my parents house to celebrate.  It's always fun going over there even on non-holidays.  There is always so much chaos and laughter you can't help but have a great time.

The girls really scored, not only did the Easter Bunny stop by their own house, but he also made pit-stops and Nona & Papa's as well as Cioci (Aunt) L's and Mr. R's.  Here is Miss R & Miss A checking out what was in one of their baskets.

Then Miss R found her favorite fruit treats and was off in a corner to not be bothered.

As soon as those were gone it was on to the next basket.  My little brute will man-handle anything!

I have to throw this in here - I am very excited that I was able to finally get some good Mommy and daughter pictures!  Thanks Ms. C!

 This year we opted out of the traditional ham dinner and went with lasagna and chicken parm.  It was definitely a good decision!

After dinner we all went outside for another egg hunt.  This time Miss R decided she was going to open the eggs as she went!  It was so much fun for the girls, we had them close their eyes so we could put them back out and they could have a round 2.

We finished our excited day off with a scrumptious cake that Ms. L and Mr. R made.  Notice they even thought enough about it to put the droppings on there!

                   I LOVE my family!!!

2 weekends ago (I finally got the pictures to cooperate), the ladies went out to celebrate the fact that we will soon be blessed with a new addition to our family courtesy of my sister C.

We had a brunch at Arcadia Farms, very good food and great atmosphere.  We were able to sit in a courtyard outside & enjoy the fabulous February weather in Arizona.  And as luck would have it, we got a little sprinkle for the sprinkle, it was so fitting!

After gorging ourselves on the scrumptious food, C was able to see what cute new things she received for the new bambino.  She got such adorable outfits along with some of the boring practical stuff and as my Mom, now affectionately called Nona pointed out, this one will be a purple outfit baby.  The countdown is on, as of today there is only 33 days until her due-date.  I can not wait!

Our afternoon would not be complete without wreaking some havoc in someone's front yard!  Actually all we did was take some pictures.  It was someone's front yard, but the trees there were too cool to pass up a great photo opportunity.  I was hoping it wasn't someone's house so I could bring my daughter back to play & take some pictures, but it was.  I'll just have to find some great trees somewhere else too!

Then we had to send our younger sister, L, on the corner to pay for the brunch (just kidding - she didn't pay for anything)!

The best part of us having children at the same time is how close my Missy Moo and her A are.  They are just like frick and frack. 

If one is doing something, the other has to be right there.  It's neat to see the bond they have even so early.  My family and I are extremely close I know they will always have that bond.  I know that I love A as if she were my own and I'm sure vice-versa.  It's like she has a sister in her cousin.  That actually works out great for my husband & I because it's like we have 2 daughters (soon to be 1 more from C - I'll get to more of that later), but we only have to pay for one, hehe!  It's also comforting to know that if we decided one was enough for us she would still have them.

I hope they are able to grow up the way I did with my sisters.  Where no fight ever lasts more than 1/2 hour, no topic is off-limits, any experience is better with them around, most of their best memories involve each other and most importantly - they know they have someone who will always love them unconditionally no matter what happens. 

I love my sisters for all the above reasons and more and I hope these girls will be able to have that same camaraderie even though they're cousins.
