As soon as I got the book and read through the forums, I decided to hench it than to join another party.

Apparently many people had problems against N.O.X. but I have yet to complete it, heard Broad Head Arrow works. I henched R.O.X. though and it was good fun. honestly, it brings back the good old days of GW. I might look for a party for my other characters.

Before I go off to complete the quest, some of you might ask, I got the golem, whats the point in finishing the quest? Well, the answer is here!

Hefty 10k gold. They didn't make it master difficulty for no reason. Its not easy. To all who are going to go questing, Good luck. Remember that M.O.X. is a PVE only hero, so if you are a PVPer, you still can't put a full party of dervs. =)

Conclusion

I'm pretty happy with this update. It just shows that GW always has new content to explore. The lore included in this may even spur the storyline of the novels that occur between GW1 and 2. Wait, did i say novels. Oops, its been announced but no release date has been given. Don't put your hopes up on it though. Most game novels fail. The huge lore of GW1 is the only main powerhouse of its storyline. *pray*

Last notes: take M.O.X.'s scythe and try equipping it. Interesting skin. shame its +10% and not +15%. =(

I finally beat N.O.X.. He was hard at first, but here's a guide.

Guide to beating N.O.X.

Skills:

1) Ranger with Broad Head Arrow: You can bring a ranger hero to complete this part. Obviously a human player would be better, as if the hero is behind the stairs or is being blocked, you gotta reflag him. Concussion shot and BHA should finish the job. Add signets to interrupt if you wish.

2) Monk or Rit or N/Rt: All heal great, humans are the best. Heroes work though but you might need to manually heal Bokka when he's out of range. I placed one at the top of the stairs and one at the bottom. If the interrupts are good, you may only need 1 healer! Bring the N/Rt if you have a Jagged bones MM. there will be several corpses.

3) Sin: I chose a moebius strike sin. They are the ones that ensure constant damage and interrupt while the target is dazed by the rangers. Rangers don't attack fast enough. As N.O.X.'s spells require a lot of interrupts to trigger, sins fit the job with critical agility and double strikes. Heroes work.

4) War/Derv/Sin/Para: 1-2 is enough, it will be nice with a self heal. This is necessary to take down the Bit Golems and the healing golems. All other golems are not necessary.

5) Ele/Mesmer/Nec/Rit: makes things go much faster. Bringing Maelstrom might even help. Mesmers can use cry of pain and other armor ignoring spells to deal damage. Degen is good too. With the amount of health, trust me, parasitic bond will last its full time. A curse necro would thus do well too. Death magic works too, but you'll need jagged bones to maintain your army. Spirit spammers are nice too for a consistent damage, since you only have one target, consider painful bond.

Anyway, as long as you have 1-4, everthing is fine, just slower. It can be done with pure heroes if you can manage healing Bokka, here's the sequence of events.

1) Bit golems fall from the sky as you engage the main golems. The bit golems don't do much except for random 100 damage nearby to themselves rarely. They are also stationary and thus easy to avoid. However, as more of them fall, Bokka might just get struck. Getting a good damage dealer(i used a sin, but i heard that war, dervs, paras work too), defeat all the bit golems as they fall. Don't worry if there's 5 or 6 alive at one time. They don't really do much. At this point, you'll realise that no matter how much damage you deal to N.O.X., he's still standing strong. Keep enduring. Patience is the key.

2) Soon, Bokka will escape. The good thing is, your healers don't need to heal him anymore. The bad thing is, elemental bit golems and phantom bit golems start falling, which empower N.O.X.'s spells. Luckily, N.O.X. should be constantly interrupted, and you should not face any problems.

3) Rectifier golems drop too which heal him, but don't do very well. Breaker golems deal a small damage to your party. I suggest a single person take down all the rectifier and breaker golems. During his free time, he can finish the elemental and phantom bit golems too.

4) Take your time, before long, you will notice his hp has dropped a LOT. He isn't that hard. Patience and interrupts is the key.

After the 3 quests, you will be missing the quest arrow. You should be able to figure it if you visited the place or if you choose to wiki it. Here's the clue anyways. Spectacular!

Okay, while I detest getting up early in the morning, I do rather enjoy visiting my garden at that hour when the sun and birds are awake but the children are still sleeping. It is a pleasant time.

My cat and I like to peruse our homestead together. She's more like a dog, really, following at my heels. Sometimes, her nose catches the scent of an intruder and she'll stop, just like any good watchkitty would, to see who is invading our slice of paradise.

Aha... so you're the bugger who's been noshing on my baby seedlings, eh?

Need I come out here with a copy of Peter Rabbit and remind you what happens to naughty bunnies who go into Mama McGregor's garden?

(In my head, my cat is backing me up: ) Yeah, does she? Huh, RABBIT???

Lousy rabbit. Why don't you hop over to Mr. L's garden. He's got LOTS of yummies for you.

It's fun to go outside and discover things, though. Yes, there are pesky annoyances now and again, like bugs and rabbits eating your lettuces. But then you come across your bean plant, whose funny red kidney things have magically opened into beautiful little flowers, and you whip out the camera and start taking ridiculous pictures with the macro setting because you've never seen a bean plant before and are certain you've just discovered something A-MAZ-ING. Because you're a dolt, of course.

Garden newbies. Ha!

Later, I discovered another fun new thing outside: my children, playing ever-so-nicely together.

Isn't that sweet? They usually are sweet, but they don't always play together quite this nicely. What a sentimental, touching photo this is.

Having a hybrid cat is both good and bad, but I earnestly feel that the disadvantages are few and rather minor. While we did have to leave our house for two nights a couple of years back, while the flea bomb de-infested us, our cat is happy. She's healthy. She's even- dare I say it- hale and hearty. And she is a hunter.

I often come home to "gifts" waiting for me on the front or back porch. My husband jokes that she is paying her rent. It's slightly embarassing when someone comes to visit before I cash her paychecks, but what the heck. As a budding gardener, I'm grateful for the highly organic rodent-and-pest control services she's providing. And, while I try to be kind and sympathetic to all creatures, there is something very thrilling about the whole Circle Of Life drama that often plays itself out in our yard.

I get chills down my spine when she gets a potential target in her sights.

The unsuspecting victim rarely stands a chance.
