The first time I saw her, I thought she was one of the most regal looking beauties I have ever seen. She played Malena, the object of a young boy's fantasies and affection. I have not yet seen any other woman that I can compare to her side by side.

Η Ιταλίδα σταρ φιλοξενείται μαζί με την κόρη της διαθέτοντας πολλές ώρες της ημέρας δίπλα της. Ήρθε στο νησί χωρίς να την αντιληφθεί κανείς. Ούτε καν οι Παριανοί δεν γνωρίζουν ότι βρίσκεται στα Τσουκαλιά. Ο λόγος είναι ότι η ίδια έχει επιλέξει να μην εμφανιστεί πουθενά επιλέγοντας να περνά την ώρα της με την κόρη και τους φίλους της δίπλα στην πισίνα του σπιτιού.

Φαίνεται αρκετά ήρεμη και ξεκούραστη και όπως όλα δείχνουν δεν έχει σκοπό να προκαλέσει τις κάμερες των παπαράτσι. Η Monica Bellucci είναι μια από τις σταρ που πήγαν στην Πάρο για να περάσουν λίγες ημέρες χαλάρωσης. Από το σπίτι του στην Αντίπαρο πέρασε ο Tom Hanks αλλά και ο θαμώνας, πλέον, του νησιού Billy Zane.

Η "απόβαση" των Χολιγουντιανών συνεχίζεται μια και από το σπίτι των συγκεκριμένων Γάλλων καλλιτεχνών παρελαύνουν συνεχώς πολλοί super stars.

Les frères Grimm est un film de Terry Gilliam, ancien Monthy Python. Dans Les frères Grimm, on retrouve un peu l'humour décalé de Gilliam.  Mais ce film n'est pas une comédie, au contraire. (Il aurait même tendance à effrayer les plus jeunes.) Avec ce film, Terry Gilliam nous emmène en Westphalie (Allemagne) de 1796, occupée alors par les soldats français de Napoléon qui répandent les idées de la Révolution partout en Europe. Se heurtent alors le rationnalisme du géénral Delatombe (interprété par Johnathan Pryce) et de son fidèle Cavaldi (Peter Stormare), à l'obscurantisme du village de Marvaden et de sa forêt...

Les frères Grimm ne retrace pas du tout la biographie des vrais frères Grimm. Ce film est une pure fiction et s'inspire des contes écrits par les deux auteurs.

O ator Keanu Reeves irá interpretar um personagem da série de animação japonesa "Cowboy Bebop", em sua versão para o cinema.

Na produção, Reeves será Spike Spiegel, um cowboy espacial que viaja entre o presente, o passado e o futuro. Ambientada em 2071, a série conta as aventuras de um grupo de mercenários que viajam no espaço.

O filme deve chegar aos cinemas em 2010 e confirma a tendência de Hollywood de voltar-se para as produções japonesas: em 2009 chegarão às telas dois filmes inspirados em desenhos japoneses, "Dragonball" e "Tekken".

"Cowboy Bebop" foi transmitido no Japão pela primeira vez em 1998 e chegou aos Estados Unidos em 2001.

Atualmente, Reeves participa da produção "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee", da diretora Rebecca Miller, que será lançado em 2009. No elenco do filme, também estão Maggie Gyllenhaal, Alan Arkin e Monica Bellucci.

What top 5 list would this be if I don't include Monica Bellucci. A household name to Italian cinema, Monica has been gracing the big screen for many years. She has even crossed over into American cinema over the years with roles in Dracula (1992), Tears of the Sun (2003) and The Passion of the Christ (2004).

5) Alessandra Mastronardi

Alessandra is probably known more for her role as Eva in the TV series I Cesaroni but she did land a lead role in the 2007 film Prova a Volare opposite Riccardo Scarmacio.Will she lean more towards film in the future? Non lo so.

Due o tre cose sul film di Mel Gibson. Primo: il film è, nella messa in scena, perfettamente coerente con le intenzioni e, come si usa dire, con il messaggio. Il Cristo di Mel Gibson è, in maniera monolitica e assoluta, il portatore di una parola nuova, che spezza il circolo dell’odio per fondare una nuova immagine della convivenza umana, non più votata alla violenza: Cristo incarna senza dubbi questa profonda convinzione, l’uomo sarà nel peccato finché la sopraffazione sarà la norma. Cristo è stato sacrificato, torturato e crocefisso, a causa dei meschini giochi di potere di Farisei e Romani: i Farisei non volevano vedere il proprio potere incrinarsi, i Romani non volevano rogne in una provincia che dava i suoi problemi. La Passione di Cristo è anche la sconfitta mondana, storica, carnale, di una concezione rivoluzionaria. Cosa accade ad una persona che muore per le proprie idee? La tortura, il dolore, Gibson ce li mostra fin troppo bene e non li edulcora in nessun modo. La violenza del film vuole ricordarci, senza filtri e mezze misure, che cosa faccia, sui corpi dei molti cristi della storia, il potere, con la sua disumanità e la sua logica che, purtroppo, ancora governa il mondo. Secondo: questo film ha un immenso limite, ribadire ossessivamente, per 126 minuti, questa idea, poco sopra espressa. Nel film di Gibson non c’è nient’altro. Non una sfumatura, non un’emozione, non un moto psicologico, solo detestabili ragionamenti politici nella prima parte, cui seguono sangue, brandelli di carne e membra spezzate nella seconda. Il film di Gibson è noioso. Uscire prima della fine, durante la Via Crucis, non cambierebbe nulla della visione e dire questo di un film non è un complimento. Forse non è sufficiente a fare un bel film la rappresentazione insistita di un’unica idea forte, né è concepibile davvero questo iper-realismo sanguinario, non per ragioni morali (che anzi sostengono questa operazione), bensì perché dopo 5 minuti si è già capito e avvertito tutto. Troppo ossessivo e troppo poco creativo nella sua ossessività, La Passione risulta un film insostenibile. Terzo: la superficialità che molta critica ha dimostrato. Gibson realizza un film che sfonda i codici deputati dell’arte perché ciò che gli interessa è rendere il cinema puro veicolo di un messaggio.

La Passione di Cristo non è un bel film, ma è un film che riesce nel suo intento. Forse il merito più grande dell’opera è quello di forzarci ad alcune riflessioni etiche sull’estetica. Provocatoriamente, perché un’autopsia filmata dal cineasta d’avanguardia Stan Brackage esalta gli studiosi e su Mel Gibson si sprecano gli insulti? Perché esaltarsi con il vuoto Big Fish (felliniano? Ma per piacere!) e non porsi neppure un interrogativo circa l’inquietante messa in scena di questa Passione? Perché denigrare in maniera compiaciuta un lavoro che, siamo sinceri, qualche problemino sulla rappresentazione cinematografica ce lo pone? Perché sentirsi tanto superiori, solo perché Braveheart non è un autore della cricca giusta? Poniamoci qualche domanda su ciò che il cinema sopporta di mostrare, piuttosto che insultare questo violentissimo film dalla concezione decisamente estrema.

Kim Kardashian and Monica Bellucci, two women I would give anything to look like and who I also believe are the epitome of beauty. I am not one to be jealous of other women, yes I wish I had longer legs and a slim nose... but other women don't really phase me, possibly because I already feel comfortable and confident about who I am. However these two make me wish I had their goddess-like features! Sigh! Complete and utter awe.

Rebecca Miller, Arthur Miller's daughter (and Daniel Day-Lewis' wife), discusses her father's legacy in a recent interview. She talks about her late father's loneliness during his last days and debunks accusations that he neglected her brother, who was institutionalized for Down syndrome. One of her novels, "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee", has been adapted into a film and chronicles the domestic unraveling of a middle-aged woman. The film will star Robin Wright Penn, Keanu Reeves, Maria Bello and Blake Lively among an all-star cast that also includes Julianne Moore, Monica Bellucci and Alan Arkin.

The article also points out the unconscious parallels that perhaps every writer inevitably imprints upon a work. Can one ever segregate the private from the professional as a writer? As someone once told me, rarely is anything original these days. Everything is derived from something else, no? In Miler's case, as the daughter of the renowned "Death of a Salesman" author who has come into her own despite her pedigree, the results are worth their telling.
