E malefica creatura preposta al male, deciso a scaraventare l’intero universo nel buio delle tenebre più nere, non aveva altro desiderio che distruggere il piccolo folletto per sempre.

Sogno oscuro e maligno il suo, che non aveva mai fatto i conti con la luce della bontà e del bene più assoluto, capace di illuminare i cuori anche fra le spire delle tenebre più nere.

C’era una volta un bellissimo folletto dalle folte chiome corvine, i vispi occhi viola, e il musetto dolce e simpatico di nome Momo.
Con un curioso berretto verde a punta ornato di tintinnati  campanellini sempre ben calcato sulla testa, in tinta con la sua meravigliosa veste della stessa brillante tonalità, era lei ogni notte armata di secchio e di straccio a tenere pulite le stelle, evitando che impolverandosi giorno per giorno perdessero il loro splendore e illuminassero di meno il nero manto del cielo.
Abile e veloce con la sua minuta attrezzatura, attenta e scrupolosa nello svolgere il proprio compito, folletto dell’aria agile e pimpante, non esisteva sera in cui lei mancasse di compiere il proprio dovere balzando fulminea da una stella all’altra annerendosi mani e guance dal gran strofinare, e non c’era angolo di cielo che lei dimenticasse di lustrare per quanto remoto e nascosto, riportando in poche ore il cielo  nel pieno del suo splendore per la gioia e la bellezza dell’intero creato.
Sempre vigile ed attenta, che il firmamento brillasse delle sue gemme più preziose nella sua completa interezza, senza tralasciare neppure gli angoli più isolati,  Momo proprio in virtù di queste sue qualità, era da tutti chiamata ‘Il Lucidastelle’, folletto della luce buona della notte.
Creatura indispensabile e speciale.
Col tempo però qualcosa aveva cominciato misteriosamente a cambiare, e notte dopo notte le stelle sempre linde e pinte, avevano iniziato con l’apparire gradatamente più opache.
E allo scoccare dell’ennesima mezzanotte buia come la pece, uscendo di botto fuori dal suo castello col cuore in tumulto, contemplando verso l’alto il cielo senza luce sopra il suo regno, oltremodo preoccupato per quanto stava accadendo, le parole del mago Mercurio furono di profondo dolore “No, non è più soltanto una mia impressione! Il cielo è davvero più fosco! Le stelle ormai sono praticamente invisibili! E non soltanto qui sul regno di Alemano! Non trovi anche tu?”

Chiese stringendo nervoso la sua bacchetta magica fra le mani, al suo fedele compagno che avanzando adagio al suo fianco non poté che dargli ragione, perdendo lo sguardo oltre l’orizzonte verso la tenebrosa distesa nera del firmamento che sembrava avvolgere la terra come un lugubre drappo.
“Eppure è così strano!” scosse la testa Lura, docile e potente scorpione, fedele custode del giovane mago, preposto alla sua educazione dopo la prematura scomparsa dei suoi genitori, avvertendo tutta la sua tensione “Momo è sempre stata ligia al suo dovere, non è mai mancata di svolgere con cura e dedizione il proprio lavoro! E anche quando nelle notti di pioggia era impossibilitata a salire in cielo, e veniva ospite presso il nostro castello, non smetteva mai di fissare fuori dalla finestra l’andamento del temporale nella speranza che smettesse, per recarsi subito dalle sue stelle per asciugarle e rimetterle in sesto, ricordi?”
E Mercurio alzando le spalle a quelle parole, annuendo convinto gli rispose di petto “Certo che lo ricordo! Conosco Momo da quando sono nato! Ho trascorso tante notte chino sui miei libri di magia a studiare, mentre lei dall’alto mi faceva luce con le sue stelle! E’ stata lei ad insegnarmi tante cose riguardanti la scienza delle arti occulte che neppure immaginavo potessero esistere, instradandomi all’uso della pratica applicata alla teoria prima ancora che diventassi un mago effettivo! Mi è sempre stata vicina nei momenti più difficili, stringendomi in silenzio la mano e sostenendomi con le sue parole! Senza di lei e senza di te Lura, in certi momenti  non avrei proprio saputo cosa fare!”

E contemplando la sua meravigliosa bacchetta, la fiammante Preludio, che era riuscito ad impugnare anche grazie a lei, che l’aveva sempre sostenuto sin dalla prima volta, quando bussando fuori dalla sua finestra durante una notte di  tempesta gli aveva chiesto rifugio.
Mercurio ripensando al carattere forte ed idealista del bellissimo folletto che aveva subito permesso ad entrambi di creare un legame indissolubile, ricordando tutte le volte in cui dopo aver lucidato le stelle, lei era scesa al suo fianco  per aiutarlo nella sua difficile missione di mago, parlandogli con dolcezza infinita, restando alcune volte ad ascoltarlo in silenzio per ore, intimandogli di stringere i denti e lottare con tutto il suo cuore per ritagliarsi il suo posto nel regno di Aleramo. Ammutolendosi di botto al pensiero che potesse esserle accaduto qualcosa di male, sentendo il cuore stringersi in una morsa, serrò le labbra con forza  “Non po’ esserle successo …”
E avvertendo d’improvviso un brivido gelato scorrergli lungo la schiena, scorgendo il bellissimo Istituto apparirgli di colpo dinanzi mosso dalla pietà, trattenendo il fiato dallo spavento, udì le sue parole con le mani che gli tremavano.
Meraviglioso nella sua algida veste nera lungo ai piedi, un cappuccio appuntito a coprirgli interamente il volto, e un cordone di iuta a stringergli da cintura i fianchi, battendo tre volte la sua falce al suolo con voce cadenzata lo rincuorò “Momo è viva, non avere più paura per lei! … ma cercala e chiedile di tornare presto in cielo!”
E sparendo in mille bagliori di luce lo spirito lasciò Mercurio stravolto, a  fissare Lura col cuore  a mille.

“Dobbiamo partire immediatamente, senza perdere altro tempo! Momo sicuramente sta bene, ma se Istituto si è mosso a compassione ed è apparso ai tuoi occhi per tranquillizzarti, vuol dire che è davvero necessario ritrovarla!” gettò di un fiato lo scorpione, capace di interpretare il silenzio di certi spiriti, drizzando la sua cuspide.
E avvolgendosi nel suo mantello, riponendo con cura nel  fodero la bacchetta magica, il mago assentì col capo “Ovunque lei sia, la ritroveremo!”
E seguendo i passi dell’animale, Mercurio si mosse sinuoso e  guardingo nelle tenebre al suo seguito.
Appena usciti dal regno di Aleramo, attraversando entrambi spediti la selva senza mai fermarsi neppure per voltarsi indietro una volta, troppo agitati per la sorte di Momo per perdersi in qualsiasi altro pensiero, i due scorgendo di colpo un grosso Pino stendere i nerboruti rami delle sue braccia verso di loro per intimargli di accostarsi a lui, avvicinandosi al suo tronco alto e snello,  ascoltarono ciò che lui aveva da dirgli con lo sguardo stranito.
“Mago Mercurio leggo nel tuo cuore il motivo della tua dipartita dal castello, e anche se mi arreca molto dolore svelarti quanto è a mia conoscenza, sento il dovere di fartene partecipe!” buttò di un fiato l’albero chinandosi verso la coppia di viaggiatori.

E di colpo sicuro che la grossa pianta sapesse cosa fosse realmente accaduto al folletto, il mago levando il naso verso l’alto lo ascoltò con estrema attenzione.
“Alcune notti fa, una figura avvolta nel buio si è fermata  sotto le mie radici e scavando nella terra ha lasciato chiusa in una bottiglia di vetro una lettera, seppellendola con cura. Era molto buio, perché ovviamente nessuno di noi creature del bosco usufruisce più della luce delle stelle e la pallida luna rischiara troppo poco per rendere nitida una figura,  ma sono certo che quell’ombra fosse lei …Momo!”
E Mercurio col battito impazzito a quelle parole,  piegandosi al suolo prese subito a scavare a mani nude “Non temere Pino, adesso tirerò io stesso fuori la bottiglia e leggeremo la lettera insieme, così potremmo accertarcene coi nostri occhi!”
E dopo aver smosso appena pochi centimetri di terra, trovata subito l’ampolla contenete la missiva, il mago ripulendola dal terriccio con estrema cura ne svitò immediatamente il tappo,  srotolando il biglietto in esso contenuta, per leggerlo fra sé e sé in fretta e in furia senza esternarne il contenuto agli altri due.
E terminata la lettura del testo chiudendo gli occhi in silenzio trattenne il respiro.
“Cosa hai letto?” chiese fremente lo scorpione.
E il mago stringendo in pugno il foglio, gettò in un colpo solo “Che non tornerà più in cielo a pulire le stelle!”
“Senza un motivo?” imbottò l’animale, a cui sembrava veramente strano quel modo di fare da parte di Momo.
“No” deglutì lui.

Irato, levando i grossi rami delle braccia verso l’alto in uno slancio di collera, l’urlo furioso dell’albero fece eco nel bosco “Se ne è lavata le mani, senza avere neppure avuto il coraggio di prendersi le proprie responsabilità! Ormai erano già diverse notti che mi ero accorto della progressiva  diminuzione della luce delle stelle, ma pensavo fosse solo un evento transitorio!”
Scuotendo il capo a quelle illazioni, Mercurio ferito, ribatté in difesa del folletto “Ma potrebbe anche non essere stata lei a scriverla!”
“Tu hai troppa fiducia in quel folletto! Saresti anche capace di negare l’evidenza pur di continuare a credere nella bontà del suo cuore! Come giustifichi allora questo buio? Dove è lei?” mugugnò l’albero.
Rialzandosi dal suolo, scuotendo il capo il mago richiuse la lettera nel palmo sinistro, stringendo i pugni “Non credi in lei, vero?”
L’albero tacque a quella domanda, punto sul vivo.
Voltandogli le spalle allora Mercurio, rivolgendo lo sguardo verso Lura gli chiese muto di seguirlo. Ed  insieme ripresero il cammino senza proferire più alcun parola.
Lui credeva in Momo, ed era certo che non fosse  stata lei a scrivere quella lettera, per quanto i fatti potessero dimostrare il contrario.
“E hai ragione!” gli confermò di colpo una voce estranea alle sue spalle, fermando di botto il suo incedere.
E voltandosi di scatto Mercurio, scorgendo dietro di sé una stella cadente squadrarlo con gli occhi lucidi, le sorrise dolcemente

“Il mio nome è Suniva, giovane mago e vivendo in cielo ho il dono di poter vedere quanto accade in giro senza essere scoperta, e ho visto coi miei occhi Belfagor rapire il folletto Momo per portarla nel suo regno, così da scaraventare la terra nelle tenebre più nere, senza più il suo straccio a riportare la luce!” gettò di un fiato la poverina sporca anch’essa di polvere, come tutte le sue sorelle “Avrei voluto confessare tutto questo molto prima, ma non ne ho avuto il coraggio! Solo grazie alla purezza del tuo cuore e alla sconfinata fiducia che nutri nei confronti di Momo, ho trovato la forza per aprire bocca!” confessò triste “Avevo paura di non essere creduta o peggio ancora, di essere catturata da Belfagor e fatta prigioniera negli Inferi, se lui fosse venuto a conoscenza del mio tradimento! Ma tu mi hai dato coraggio!”
E il mago appresa la notizia, scrutando lo scorpione con sguardo complice gli sorrise di gioia.
“Se volete posso scortavi io,  fino al regno degli Inferi dove si trova adesso Momo! In volo potrete giungere molto prima!” si offrì la bella stella, ansiosa di aiutare il lucidastelle a cui era sempre stata tanto legata, ma che aveva avuto troppa paura di proteggere da sola.
E annuendo d’istinto, senza farselo ripetere una seconda volta Mercurio e Lura saltarono in groppa alla stella, stringendosi ad una delle sue punta con forza “Portaci fino alla porta del regno, poi lasciaci lì e mettiti in salvo!” gli ordinò il mago e lei annuendo partì veloce alla volta dell’Inferno.
Il  benvenuto per Mercurio e compagni non fu affatto dei migliori, avvertito del loro arrivo grazie ai suoi malefici poteri Belfagor, postosi dinanzi ai cancelli del suo regno a braccia conserte li accolse col suo ghigno più diabolico ben stampato sulle labbra “Siete  venuti tutti insieme per liberare  il folletto lucidastelle, vero?”

E nonostante la figura imponente del mostro non ispirasse alcuna fiducia, Mercurio ormai vicino alla sua dolce Momo, intimando alla stella cadente di allontanarsi e al fedele  Lura di accompagnarla, sentendo il cuore gonfio di un coraggio mai provato prima si fece avanti senza reticenze “Si, sono qui per liberare Momo!”
“Bene! Complimenti per la tua forza giovane mago! Il tuo onore ti fa merito, mi sei simpatico! Quindi ho deciso di offrirti tre possibilità!” rise spavaldo.
“Come puoi vedere alle mie spalle ci sono tre giardini  a far da cornice tutt’intorno al mio meraviglioso castello. Uno di fiori rossi, uno di fiori blu, l’altro di fiori gialli, soltanto in uno di questi però si trova prigioniero il tuo folletto debitamente incatenato e reso inerme! Se tu entrerai in quello giusto, ti prometto di liberare la tua cara, se invece dovessi entrare in quello sbagliato lei resterà in mano mia, e dovrai tu donare qualcosa a me per il disturbo arrecatomi!”
Deglutendo a vuoto il mago annuì con sguardo fiero “Lo trovo giusto! Cosa vuoi in cambio?”
“In caso di sconfitta da parte tua … voglio che tu mi ceda Preludio, la tua bacchetta magica, cosicché  tutto il suo potere possa andare nelle mie mani per sempre!”
Pronto a tutto pur di salvare la sua adorata Momo in pericolo, lui annuì pensando “Non posso perdere!”
E scegliendo i fiori rossi, il giovane varcò l’antro del giardino con passo fermo, certo che il cuore di Momo affannato ed impaurito fosse nascosto proprio fra quei petali scarlatti,  in attesa della sua venuta.

A quel gesto, con un urlo spaventoso  Belfagor fece tremare cielo e terra “Fermati maledetto mago!”
E scagliandogli contro tuoni e fulmini generati dalle punte infuocate del suo forcone, gli bruciò i lembi del mantello bloccando il suo cammino.
Mercurio aveva scelto bene, il suo cuore aveva trovato quello di Momo, e infuriato il demonio lo maledisse con tutto l’odio di cui era provvisto il suo animo perverso.
“Avevi promesso!” gli urlò contro di rimando il giovane Mercurio, sfoderando prontamente la sua bacchetta per proteggersi dall’attacco nemico.
“Mai credere alle promesse del diavolo!” rincarò la dose Belfagor continuando a colpire il mago a ripetizione “Nessuno te lo ha mai detto?”
E preparandosi alla lotta, Mercurio deciso a liberare il folletto a qualsiasi costo e fermare una volta per tutte i malvagi piani del mostro, puntò la sua bacchetta dritta in direzione del suo terrificante muso dalle fauci appuntite quanto le sue corna, dando inizio alla loro guerra.
In quello stesso istante dal cuore palpitante del mago impegnato nella lotta, una luce fulgente prese vita trasformandosi nel bellissimo Miracolo, aulico spirito dalla lunga veste evanescente e i bei capelli  turchini, che uscito dalla sua anima si recò senza porre tempo in mezzo dalla piccola Momo per liberarla.
E sfrecciando veloce fra i vermigli fiori del giardino del regno degli Inferi, lo spirito udendo il tintinnio dei  campanellini del folletto sempre più vicini, scorgendola prigioniero di un rovo rinsecchito legata ai polsi ed alle caviglie da lacci di aguzze spine, pallida nel volto e completamente ricoperta di lividi e cicatrici, chinandosi su di lei con dolcezza la liberò delicatamente, e prendendola fra le braccia la cullò con amore infinito.

“Svegliati Momo! Mercurio ha bisogno di te! Fuori le mura di questo regno sta lottando da solo contro Belfagor, ma non può farcela senza di te! Ti prego svegliati e scendi al suo fianco, con te accanto la sua bacchetta non tradirà un colpo!” E rinvenendo lentamente, il folletto aprendo suoi dolci occhi viola, ritrovando a quelle parole ogni ragione di vita, nonostante il dolore che le numerose ferite ancora aperte le provocavano si tirò in piedi, e pregando lo spirito di farle da guida, si affrettò a raggiungere il suo Mercurio.
Dinanzi all’evolversi della battaglia Momo trattenendo il fiato, scorgendo il giovane mago sfinito parare i colpi con prontezza sempre minore, stringendo forte i pugni levò il viso verso il suo cielo implorando le sue amiche stelle di venirle in aiuto. Aveva conosciuto Mercurio che era soltanto un bambino solo ed inesperto, lui l’aveva accolta con affetto infinito nel suo castello aiutandola durante il pericolo senza mai smettere di credere in lei, non poteva lasciare che Belfagor  avesse la meglio su di lui.
Non poteva, per lui e per se stessa.
“Chiedici qualsiasi cosa Momo! E in nome di tutto quello che tu hai sempre fatto per noi, saremo ben liete di venirti in aiuto adesso che ne hai la necessità!” le dissero all’unisono in coro tutte le stelle del cielo, nella loro veste nera e sudicia, fiondandosi al suo fianco.
“Riducete Belfagor in polvere!”

E scendendo a grappoli, l’intero esercito celeste si scagliò furente in una pioggia di appuntiti aculei incandescenti contro il perfido Belfagor, infilzandolo per tutto il corpo,  fino ad avvolgerlo per intero in una vampa di lingue di fuoco, piegandolo alla resa, facendolo sparire insieme al suo regno in un ultimo sbuffo di cenere e lapilli.
“Tu non hai smesso di credere in me vero, Mercurio?” chiese con un filo di voce il folletto, annaspando a tratti, sfinita  dalla fatica accumulata durante la battaglia, ritrovandosi con lui terminata la lotta, fra i fumi del campo raso al suolo mentre di lontano Lura nascosto fra il fogliame,  li spiava muto.
“Neanche quando tutti avevano perso ogni fiducia in me, vero?”  gli chiese.
Arrossendo lui scosse il capo “Mai! Perché ti conosco!”
E ferita e pesta Momo, sfiorando la guancia di lui con la sua manina minuscola e graffiata, rise di gioia infinita.
E tornata ai suoi compiti, non mancò mai ogni notte dopo aver  pulito tutto quanto il firmamento, di scrivere con la sua luce un saluto speciale per il suo amato mago, che in lei avevano creduto fino in fondo, tenendo riservata una stella più brillante delle altre per loro due soltanto.

Ze hebben een nieuwe mobiele applicatie ontwikkeld die binnen enkele maanden uit de alphafase moet zijn. Als je hoort wat de features zijn dan kun je alleen maar concluderen dat ze heel goed hebben gekeken naar de oorspronkelijke versie van Jaiku. Niet de website en Twitter adept die het nu is, maar de mobiele applicatie die een merge was met het contactboek.

De kern van de nieuwe Hyves applicatie lijkt te worden gebouwd rond de contactenlijst in Hyves, ze willen een communicatiehub worden, en hopen natuurlijk een applicatie te bouwen die de mobiele gebruiker als startpunt gaat gebruiken. En net als bij Jaiku is het idee dat deze contacten worden verrijkt met allerlei locatiegerelateerde diensten.

Interessante toevoeging is de bluetooth scan van je omgeving die toevoegen. Ik neem aan dat ze die op basis van Roomware bouwen en dat beloofd dan een mooie functie te worden. Waar Nokia vergeefs in 2005 een dergelijke functie introduceerde een aantal jaar geleden, denk ik dat Hyves wel een grote kans heeft dit succesvol te introduceren.

Want dat is natuurlijk de interessante vraag: waarom zal Hyves het wel lukken waar Jaiku en Nokia faalde. Dat is de voorsprong van de gebruikersgroep. De Jaiku toepassing was magisch, maar met maar een of twee andere gebruikers in je vriendengroep schiet de dienst niet op. De gigantische installed base van Hyves zal daarmee deze diensten wel relevant kunnen maken.

En daarmee zal de eigenlijke strategie van Hyves nog kansrijker kunnen worden. Uiteindelijk zal het businessmodel van Hyves draaien om het vullen van de relevante profielen van de gebruikers. Voor leveranciers van gratis functionaliteit is het bedenken van toepassingen die de profielen van gebruikers verrijken de essentie van het bestaan. De mobiele applicatie is daarin uiteraard van onschatbare waarde.

De vraag daarbij is of ze het ook gaat lukken om het profiel door de gebruikers ook als indentiteitshub te gaan gebruiken in andere online toepassingen. Dat vraagt nog een volgende stap: compatabiliteit en openheid van de profielen voor de gebruiker.

It was good that the event was organized on Saturday so that we workaholic’s (at least I love to be called though I am not) can also attend. It took me 15min drive to reach IIMB on my 2stroke bike. There is some thing about IIM's that makes your body shiver. I can not define it much but there is already someone called "Chetan Bhagat" who has defined it in a better way, but there is something you can smell it, you can feel it,the building the garden. Well, enough of IIM back to MOMO, the event was organized in IIMB auditorium. I guess, there were some 40 members when i entered. First, session was keynote: Challenges and opportunities in Indian mobile VAS followed by discussion on VAS.

VAS discussion panelist were Ramakrishna(rangde.org), Abhishek Sinha(EKO india financial Services, V Sasikumar(ekgaon technologies), Raj Raghvan (classifEye), Navin Thangaiah(mChek), Moderator - Ashish Gupta(Helion Ventures).

Mr. Abhishek Sinha of EKO India Financial Services impressed me with his product where in he targeted people at the bottom of the pyramid by providing them a simple procedure for debiting their account irrespective of the phone.

After first session, there was Lunch&Networking session. Lunch was really very good including palak paneer, salad followed by carrot halwa and ice-cream.  

Well, i was more interested in the second session "Mobile Marketing & Mobile Advertising" as my company is into Mobile advertising and my CEO was also present there. J

The panelist were Zubair Jandali (AdMob), Santosh Navlani(mKhoj), Debraj Tripathy(OnMobile), Karthee Madaswamy(Qualcomm ventures) , Narsimha Suresh(Telibrahma Convergent) Moderator – Swami Krishna(Sasken).

Basically, they were discussing on how to stuff in some more ad and bombard it on user.

The other two sessions were “Mobile Web” & “Telecom Platform Opportunities” which unfortunately I could not attend as I had to shift my stuffs from CV raman nagar to BTM.

I returned home by 3pm just before rain started and it rained continuously till 7pm. Shit man ! why I came back. All in all it was a great experience and ya i met @Bhuvan  @Twitter.

As the gang (Aang, Katara, Sokka, Toph, and newly recruited member: Zuko) travels onward toward the Fire Kingdom, Azula is currently set on finding them and exterminating them. She would be more keen on killing Zuko rather than the avatar at this time because Zuko would be deemed the ultimate traitor for siding with the avatar. Of course as she sets her minions to go and hunt them down, the gang are getting more and more connected to each other and thus more concerned about each other. After her first wave of attacks on the gang, which they would surely defeat, she would send the duo Mai and Ty Lee. Since we’ve seen that Mai has had a brief relationship with Zuko, she would be at first hesitant on doing Azula’s commands but eventually she would give in, knowing just how bad Azula can be at torturing and hurting people around her. Upon their fight scene, Mai would encourage Zuko to once again side with them and with his sister. Zuko declines the offer and states that he now knows the right thing to do. After their brief conversation, Mai resigns herself to fighting the gang, with Ty Lee right beside her. They would be defeated but their life will be spared, thanks to Katara who refuses to have them killed, like Toph, Sokka and Zuko vote for. 

The duo are made to return to Azula with a message from the gang about how they would remove the Fire Nation’s hold on the other two remaining Nations of Water and Earth and bring back peace to the entire world. Azula is angered beyond words and attacks the two, almost killing them had she not ‘mercied’ them. She instead puts the two in the torture chambers for not being able to bring her brother back or kill him. This would be merely weeks before her coronation as the Fire Lord/Lordess or Lady (lol). Finally deciding that it was now up to her alone to kill her brother as well as the avatar, she asks her father to move the date of her coronation closer, which Ozai agrees to. 

Now, the gang should have been forming a plan to attack on the day of Azula’s coronation and calls on all available Water and Earth tribe people who can launch a decoy attack at three different areas of the main Fire Kingdom’s city where the palace, and thus, Azula and the Fire Lord resides. They agreed that the water tribe would be the first line of attack attacking at three separate points away from the main gates of the palace. Then the Earth people would attack through the gates, backing up the Water people who could opssibly be being opressed by this time. More Earth people wil come straight to the palace and guard it from any offensive attempts from the Fire people. The gang will then be coming along with the last line of Earth and Water people as they straight for the Fire Lord. The gang will then come upon Azula, who intends to block their way to the Fire Lord. 

Uncle Iroh would be at this time still caged inside a cell somewhere in the palace prisons. Sokka, along with Momo (and let’s not forget Hawkie!) as well as some other Earth and Water tribes will be the ones tryig to free him. It seems an accomplishable enough task since the entire place is under attack. 

Meanwhile Zuko, Toph and Katara decide to face Azula so Aang can face Ozai. Three agaisnt one looks like an easy win for Azula but she knows all their weaknesses now and she is easily able to stand against them. The three of course follows a plan and lets Toph attack first then Katara and then Zuko. It was good at first but soon they lose Toph; her feet gets burned by Azula as she heats up the entire floor, which none of them anticipated and thus Katara was too late at saving her. Toph is left alone behind a huge column and together Katara and Zuko try to strategize against Azula. They struggle for a long while and Katara agrees to back up Zuko’s attacks. As Azula and Zuko fire at each other, with  Katara close by. Azula uses this to her advantage and aims a lightning at Katara instead of Zuko. Zuko jumps to Katara’a help and absorbs the lightning attack. He barely manages to reflect it off. From the impact, he and Katara are blown off and hurled against a column. This is when Sokka would be coming in to throw off Azula in a pivotal moment ad Zuko will be able to defeat her. 

Since Sokka’s back, we now know Uncle Iroh is saved; so where is he now? He heads for Ozai wanting to help the avatar in his quest as well as to do his nation justice. So now the long awaited fight scene has a surprising turn since now Aang will be more confident in defeating Ozai while Iroh helps him out for a bit. Of course Uncle Iroh will be no match for Ozai but his help will be indeed a good leverage for Aang. With Iroh as a brief distraction, Aang will be able to go in the avatar state and then fight Ozai with a bit more power than before. The fight drags for a while but soon, it will be evident that Ozai is no match for the avatar. 

The avatar kills Ozai and he disintegrates into nothing as Aang reverts out of the avatar state. Iroh is lying at one corner, telling him to hurry and check on his friends as well as Zuko. He follows Iroh’s request as he remembers his friends fighting Azula and he heads back to them. There he finds Katara healing them all and Zuko and Sokka keeping an eye on an unconscious Azula who was now in chains and caged in the elements. The Fire Nation was finally defeated. 

Now we see the time ahead and the day is the coronation of Zuko as the Fire Lord. The gang would be present at the ceremony. He seemed resigned to his fate but at the last moment he changes his mind and offers the crown to his Uncle Iroh. Iroh would decline and say that he was the right person to regain the honour and rebuild the empire of the fallen Fire Nation. Zuko is pleased that his uncle deemed him as the best choice to lead their Nation into the right path. That night, Zuko excuses himself from the partying and visits Azula who was now unable to bend fire (due to Aang’s learned ability). He asks her about their mother and here we see that she was angry at their mother for loving Zuko more. However, she reveals to him that she was banished to live in an insignificant location where little or few people lived close by. 

Now this is were my powers of deduction takes center stage (lol). From here on in, it will be completely my personal speculation about Zuko’s mother, and thus, what events it will to.

I believe the Painted Lady may be Zuko’s mother. So following this theory, Zuko could be reunited with his mother, which along the way, he finds out that Katara once pretended to be the Painted Lady in order to help the villagers (which would be reddening Katara’s cheeks). And so we are given a glimpse of the Katara x Zuko pairing. 

Sokka and his girl (whose name escapes me at the moment) are obviously going to get together. The only problem now lies on the love matters of Toph and Aang. Being the younger characters, they are not necessarily supposed to ‘end up’ with anybody seeing how young they are in the story. Although they are not ineligible to accumulate friends or crushes. Now there are two ways to solve Aang and Toph’s dilemma:

(1) Aang and Toph are sitting together outside watching the stars and Aang is saddened that as an avatar he had to give up on his feelings for Katara, but he knows that it was all for the best. Toph, would typically slap him on the shoulder and say ‘Twinkle-Toes, I’m proud of you.’ And the two would be the best pals as they grow. 

(2) Well, who knows? You gotta admit, Toph and Aang look good together (not to mention Toph’s personality is so cute and lovable) so as time passes, there is that possibility that the two would get together, but seeing as how Aang is the avatar, well.... think about it.

And that’s that. Tell me what you think. =) hahahaha i was just telling my sister how i wanted the avatar to end and this is how long it took to write it down from memory. and of course disclaimers: avatar obviously does not belong to me, ditto for the images used in this post. ...this is basically fanfiction, isn't it?? lol and i'm really sorry for not mentioning Appa.

Vijay Shekhar during his presentation asked the audience as to how many people are thinking of buying the recently launched iPhone 3G, if we become price agnostic, just 3 out of 70 odd people said they are planning to buy. These 3 also said yes, as they are in the process of developing applications for iPhone and thus they will need the same for test purposes.

Though gathering this time was less (in comparison to other events of Momo), with a total of approx. 65-70 professionals from the mobile world. But, overall it was a great event.

But just because of that, does it mean I'm doing anything??

The answer to that is yes. I have started a club in my school that raises money to help plant trees and do things to help the environment. To make this money we sell eco-friendly products, so we are helping in two ways. Also, we had a school-wide clean-up where the whole school came out and cleaned up all around the school. It was pretty successful until some kid spotted a snake in the bushes-lol. Then everyone started running over to check it out while the rest of us DEDICATED ones kept cleaning up. That was pretty much the club. The club is called The Green Team COPYRIGHTED, and I am president. If you want to help our world get out there and start somehing like I did. This Earth isn't going to help itself-seriously guys!

I had a great vacation. Watched around 3 movies - Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na and Kismat Konnection. Each of them being good in their own genre.

Mostly the trip scored over my other trips to Kolkata was cause I could eat to my heart's (and stomach's :) ) content. To name a few mouthwatering dishes that I had -

• Kati Roll at Nizam's Restaurant - This restaurant was built in 1932, and just recently it has taken over the neighbouring enclosement for extension. The chicken roll was if I can put it out of this world. Living in the U.A.E. for the past 21 years of my life, I have seen that here or even in other nations like US or UK or EU, you get less for what you pay. Here if I order for a chicken roll, I will get more of onion and sauce, and less of chicken pieces, and the parotha seems to be just heated. But at Nizam's for the first time I saw that there was more of succulent chicken pieces than other stuffs. And the parotha was so soft, it was a good combination with the even softer chicken. And all this for a mere Rs. 37 equivalent to Dhs. 3.5 and less than a dollar???
• Mishti Doi (Sweet Curd) - This is a bengali delicacy, where the curd that you have is not salted, but is sweet. And you get a tinge of rose flavour in it as well, making it totally mouthwatering.
• Rajbhog (Large Ras Gulla) - This is as big as a fist, and mind you, an adult's fist :) It is filled with sweet ras or water, and this also has a tinge of rose in it.
• Momo (Steamed Dumpling) - This is basically not hard core bengali delicacy, but I think it's more of a Nepali Dish, n since Darjeeling is in the state of West Bengal, it's one of the most sought after snacks in Kolkata.
• Sondesh - I don't think there has ever been a bengali who has not had a Sondesh (Bengali Sweet) in his/her life. This sweet unlike other dry sweets actually melts in your mouth.
• Elish Sorsay Bhaapey - Translated to English this would be Hilsa fish in Mustard Seed Gravy. This is a major bengali delicacy that I could not have enough of in this trip of mine to Kolkata. I would highly recommend this to everyone. But yes, go for the boneless option if you are not into eating bony fish.
• Phuchka - Translated to Hindi, it is called Pani Puri, or Golgappa. Though you get this item in other places in India, what you get in Kolkata is totally different, and it tastes different as well. It is more spicy than it's other counterparts in other parts of India.
• Jhaal Muri - Translated to English, it is called Spicy Puffed Rice. It's a concoction of puffed rice, mustard oil, chilli, nuts, mixtures or chana choor, onion, pickle, etc. It is quite spicy.

Well this was mostly about my trip. I had a short trip of 4 days to Digha, a tourist destination for sea lovers. And oh yeah, I rode a horse this time :)

Anyway that's all. Wanted to get back to blogging, and I thought this would be a nice way to start, and also get off the holiday mood.
