Of course, no BBC drama will ever consider the existence of an actual campaign of religious cleansing against Christians in Muslim countries. As unfortunate as it may be...in these times we really have to question the agendas and motivations of any Islamic Informational Outlets in the West that are well-established and have mainstream support. Muslim Matters.org is no exception. With contributions from Shuyookh Yasir Qadhi, Yasir Birjas, Tawfique Chowdhury among others, MuslimMatters.org markets itself as a platform for Bloggers and Shuyookh alike to address contemporary issues facing Muslims in the West.

They attempt to discuss topics such as Religion, Society, Ethics, Politics and Civil Rights with a tinge of humor...such as Yasir Qadhi's article about Porcine Rennet in Doritos or even worse, this posting about Muslims Condemning Terrorism And that is what bothers me first about the site. Is this the time for humor? Look at the situation of the Muslims in the West and around the world for that matter. Is this the time when a major Islamic platform needs to be concerned with making itself more marketable by approaching issues like a comedian who prepares his script for his show... Making sure to have enough punch lines to keep the audience amused? Frankly, it is disgusting and disrespectful to the reader.

Furthermore, as our Brothers at the Ignored Puzzle Pieces of Knowledge have pointed out, muslimmatters.org facilitates a ridiculous discussion about who to support, McCain or Obama?! Mohamad Elibiary decides to take the lead role in support of John McCain. Yes, in support of John McCain!! Mohamad Elibiary justifies supporting this Kafir who has vowed to kill Muslims based on his 'policy progress'.

Also, Mr. Elibiary decided to take some shots at our Mujahideen brothers and those that are supporting them around the world (the bloggers that he likes to call Keyboard Jihadists).

Religious Authority Warns Women against Perfume, Flirtation (Turkey)

Secular Turks say the government's religious authority has gone too far by advising women not to flirt with strangers or wear perfume outside their homes. The article is expected to further inflame a debate about the role of religion in the secular nation.

Is wearing perfume a sin? Or casting a flirtatious gaze at a man? According to an article recently published on the Web site of Turkey's directorate for religious affairs, Diyanet, it is.

The article, which is drawing criticism in Turkey and raising attention abroad, essentially chalks women up as walking aphrodisiacs and puts the onus on them to cover up and prevent themselves from sexually stimulating men in any way outside their homes.

"Women have to be more careful, since they have stimulants," the article states, according to a report in the Guardian. "The women communicating with strange men should speak in a manner that will not arouse suspicion in one's heart and in such seriousness and dignity that they will not let the opposite party misunderstand them, that they should not show their adornments and figure and that they should cover in a fine manner." It even goes so far as to equate flirtation with adultery, according to critics.

The article also discourages women from wearing perfume. "His highness the Prophet Muhammad did not think kindly of women who put on perfumes outside their homes and go strolling and saw this as immoral behavior," it continues.

The article also reportedly said women should not spend time together with men in private unless married and questioned the virtues of mixed-sex workplaces.

Generally, Diyanet has promoted a moderate form of Islam and the article threatens to further inflame a roaring debate about the role of religion in what is constitutionally a secular state. The Islam-rooted Justice and Development Party of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is currently facing a legal challenge in the country's highest court, accused of undermining the secular principles upon which Turkey was founded, and faces the possibility of a ban in the future.

"It's like a comedy," writes Yusuf Kanli, a columnist with the pro-secular Turkish Daily News, "but the article appeared on the Web site of a state institution that is supposed to regulate the practice of Islam in the country according to the teachings (as perceived by the Turkish government) of Islam rather than those of some Islamist orders or brotherhood organizations. … Is this mentality different at all with that of the Taliban that placed Afghan women behind chadors?"

Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey, established Diyanet in 1924 to ensure that Islam did not interfere with the country's strictly secular government. Although Diyanet has no legal authority, it is highly influential as the custodian of the Muslim faith in the country. It is in charge of the country's 70,000 clerics and is also responsible for appointing Turkey's imams.

Let's worry about Islamofascism

The resolution adopted by Muslim theologians representing the various schools of Islam at the All-India Anti-terrorism Conference organised by Darul Uloom, Deoband, 'denouncing' terrorism but condoning radical Islam's ghastly excesses, apart from remaining silent on Islamist terrorism in India which continues to extract a terrible price, is of a piece with the Observatory Report on Islamophobia released by the Organisation of Islamic Conference at its recent meeting in Dakar, Senegal. Both documents seek to justify manufactured Muslim rage and lay the blame for the resultant death and destruction at the doors of everybody else but Muslims.

It is ironical that Darul Uloom, Deoband, should have taken it upon itself to preach to others the virtues of tolerance - Deobandis are known for neither tolerating others or their faith nor allowing Muslims the freedom to subscribe to modernism and its attendant values. Indeed, Deobandi madarsas at home and abroad, especially in Pakistan, are known to breed Islamofascists whose dark thoughts and darker deeds generate Islamophobia against which the OIC has demanded an international law. Of course, Islamofascism must remain unrestrained and Islamofascists must be allowed the right to practice their ideology of hate. To contest this would amount to Islamophobia, and Islamophobes, as we have now been told, have no right to exist. So, like the proverbial lamb, we should meekly surrender to our slaughter. The least we can do is believe the bogus declaration issued by mullahs who gathered at Darul Uloom, Deoband.

Here's a confession: There was a time of innocence when I believed in the thesis that there is more than one Islam. There were those with whom you could swap ideas, share jokes and even the cup that cheers. A decade later, during which time I spent three years in Cairo and travelled more than once into the heart of Islam - well, almost, since non-Muslims are not allowed beyond Jeddah, the gateway to Mecca and Medina - I stand converted to the view that any talk of there being a moderate Islam or Islam as a religion of peace merely because of the salutation sa'laam is so much bunkum.

In any event, the ummah sees Islam as a religion that demands absolute submission, which is not really the same as a religion that is predicated on peace and equality. And although the Quran does not stress on compulsion, it does not overflow with kindness towards those who do not submit to god's will either. The best they can hope for is to be protected by a treaty (dhimmah), which in this day and age would mean unlimited appeasement, and the privileges of the dhimmi are purchased by paying jiziya apart from humiliating conditions of subservience, for instance communal budgeting and a 'Muslim first' policy, as is being done in our country.

The manufactured rage over Pope Benedictine's comments at a German university about how the Sword of Islam cleared the way for Islam's march beyond Arabia - he was quoting from an obscure Byzantine text - revived memories of the late Aurobindo Ghosh (he spent his last years waging an intellectual battle against Islamofascism from his perch in Texas) and his painstaking research to prove that Islam and peace never co-existed; that the sword of Islam is as much a reality today as it was in the distant past. In a sense, he was right, as much as the Byzantine text the Pope quoted is correct in pitilessly stating a fact that we tend to overlook in our zeal to draw distinctions between moderate and fanatical Islam to cover up for the crimes of the latter more than anything else.

Indeed, India's history records this fact in the most lurid colours. The mass slaughter of Hindu men and enslavement of Hindu women and children, the destruction of Hindu antiquities and temples (of which the best examples are Somnath, Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura), the brutal efforts to efface Hindu tradition and the rapacious means adopted to expand the frontiers of Islamic rule - Jadunath Sarkar and RC Majumdar have chronicled how Muslim invaders, and later those who sat on the masnad of Delhi, were relentlessly engaged in waging jihad against Hindus - are too well-known to require elaboration.

The bloodletting in Jammu & Kashmir, the ethnic cleansing of the Valley to lay the foundation of Nizam-e-Mustafa, the bombings in Mumbai and elsewhere, the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh and Malaysia by preachers of fanatical Islam who have now come to dominate the centrestage of politics in those countries and the pathetic, craven approach of accommodation and concession adopted by the political class of India which was, and continues to be, reluctant to confront the truth, should fashion any honest critique of Islamism and highlight its fascist character. This is not about indulging in Islamophobia, which so agitates the OIC and its cheerleaders, but about coming to grips with the true dimensions of Islamofascism, which should be of over-riding concern for those who believe in freedom and cherish the values of modernism that collectively form the foundation of free and plural societies.

Yes, there will be strident criticism and staunch opposition to any attempt to expose Islamofascism for what it is. And the most strident criticism and the staunchest opposition will not come from the OIC and the mullahs of Darul Uloom, Deoband, but from those who wilfully ignore facts to foist fiction which encourages bigoted hate mongers to typecast those who are appalled by Islamofascism as Islamophobes. The protest will primarily come from two quarters:

The Lib-Left intelligentsia, which continues to labour under the self-perpetuating myth that all of Islam is a religion of peace and only an insignificant, fringe minority is to be blamed for distorting the great faith that was born in the sterile sands of Arabia; and,

The so-called moderate Muslims who till now have skilfully used doublespeak to position themselves as representatives of the ummah, more so in liberal democracies. Their status is now seriously threatened by those who have no hesitation in acknowledging the true nature of Islam both as a faith and a weapon of subjugation.

Those who believe in liberty and freedom of thought need not fear either. Being charged with Islamophobia is a small price to pay for securing our future.

No one has been talking in the mainstream media about the daily "Palestinian" barrage of missiles aimed specifically at Israeli kids, the southern Israel under siege of "Palestinian" occupation, the trembling fear of Israeli women for their children's safety in Sderot ( Fear and trauma as rockets impact Israeli town), but everyone is up in arms if Israel acts.

No one has been talking in mainstream media as Israel has been successfully eliminating terrorists [with unimaginable efforts in carrying it out] without any damage upon civilians in hundreds of operations, but I bet you, you'll hear them loud and clear, if its humane precision-tactics fails just once.

Just as no one in the mainstream media talks about the constant Israel vs Arab, as humanitarian vs un-humanitarian war, "Palestinian" and Hezbollah Arabs always try to draw Israel into responding in operations, awaiting cheerfully such responds to play the fake "victim" card, Israel - however - is never happy to carry out any anti terror activities, and when reluctantly it has to go ahead with it, it puts immense efforts to fail Arabs' desire for mass casualties among its civilians, Israel's struggle against Arab cruelty on its population is relentless, but never appreciated.

Why is humanitarian Israel still (January 2008) supplying two thirds of fuel supply to un-humanitarian "Palestinians"?

I mean, What would one expect from a self hating sickening hypocritical typical whining of the NPR reporting about a "humanitarian crisis" in Gaza? (Jan. 2008 at the height of Arab attacking rockets) What's "humanitarian" about Hamas-tan? [as twisted NPR is, it first reports of what Hamas "says" that all fuel supply is shut down, only thereafter is quotes Israel's declaration and harsh accusation that the "Palestinians" simply LIE, and that two thirds are still supplied, as if the world hasn't seen enough of the minus zero credibility of "what Palestinian Pallywood says"], the cruel terrorist militant Islamic totalitarian regime? The oppression of non Muslims (Christians per se)? The investments of its limited resources into deadly Jihad, or the criminal use of its civilians to attack Israeli civilians via rockets and other cowardice methods?

Try and make a survey, a poll on how many are really aware of the targets by the Arabs, kids! how they fire exactly when and where the children go to kindergarten (Barrage of rockets hits Sderot as kids go to school), the fact that with God's grace the damage is low is of course totally irrelevant to Arabs' [usual] genocide attempts.

As it is rare for the NPR, it shockingly did interview some Israelis about the Hamas attack of Israeli civilians and how Israel should respond to it, as one Israeli has put it very real: "We Israelis have been setting us up in high moral standards we have a huge dilemma on how to respond".

Yet, it is rather the Arab Palestinian "victimhood" that still manages to generate fans.
Amazing how the terrible unromantic cult of destruction is still not seen by some as what it is, a self inflicted cult, and that no one else can ever be blamed on whatever is going on there.

And just as you thought that the Fatah is much better, you hear that the "moderate" Abbas regime decided to allocate 40% of the billions of dollars in aid [the Europeans have pledged to give] to the Hamas terror "government".

I have got news for the fake "humanitarian" singers - reporters in biased media: There's nothing humanitarian about pointing fingers anywhere outside the "Palestinian" cruel leadership and those that elect them.

In Islam, not only are men allowed to practice polygamy, but they may also capture women in war and use them as sex slaves. This is considered morally legitimate according to the Quran. It is unclear what "lewdness" actually means. This verse is so open-ended, almost any woman could potentially be accused of lewdness and sentenced to a life of house arrest, except ultraconservative women who never do anything to offend strict Muslim men.

Stealing should be punished by amputation of hands

5:41 As to the thief, Male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example, from God, for their crime: and God is Exalted in power.

When a person has no hands, they probably cannot earn a living anymore, so they will end up as a beggar on the street. That doesn't seem very beneficial to society. Also, before medical sanitation and anesthesia, amputation of the hands was in many cases the equivalent of a death sentence.

Adultery and fornication must be punished by flogging with a hundred stripes.

24:2 The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by God, if ye believe in God and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.

This verse leaves no other option for Muslims who believe in the divine origin of the Quran. It specifically says they must not have mercy on people who have committed adultery or fornication, and that this brutal punishment of 100 lashes is "prescribed by God." However, since other verses in the Quran specifically allow men to have sex slaves, the horrible crime of serial rape against a non- Muslim is allowed.

IS IT RATIONAL - IS IT A REASONABLE HUMAN THOUGHT

Does anyone truly believe that God would have as His Prophet for His one and only true religion a criminal – Muhammad and teachings of slavery, rape, murder etc. Is this a rational, reasonable human thought that God would be a criminal involved in these evil criminal acts.

Is it a rational human thought that God would create a religion that allowed His followers (believers) in His one and only true religion to require His believers to murder unbelievers after giving them a warning to convert or pay a submission tax. Is this rational ? Is this reasonable?

Is it a rational human thought that God would create a religion that allowed His followers (believers) in His one and only true religion who slay and are slain in His service to ascend to an evil Paradise of big breasted, big eyed virgins (Hurs) that they can sexually molest with eternal hard ons for all eternity in the presence of God who teaches you how to engage in orgies, group sex. Virgins that re-generate as virgins after each sex act. Is this rational ? Is this reasonable? How can you be normal and believe that by fulfilling Kornic teaching 9:111 (quoting again) - “Lo! Is it a rational human thought that God would create a religion that allowed His followers (believers) in His one and only true religion to require His believers to share the booty gained from the looted property of the unbelievers and from the sale of slaves with God Himself. Is it a rational human thought that God would create a religion that allowed His followers (believers) in His one and only true religion to amputate hands or flog to death (100 lashes is death) for robbery or adultery.

Is it a rational human thought that God would create a religion that allowed His followers (believers) in His one and only true religion to murder freemen, slaves and women in retaliation for someone killing one of their freemen, slaves, and women.

We can go on and on.

THE ANSWER IS ABSOLUTELY NOT. IT IS NOT RATIONAL. IT IS NOT REASONABLE. THERE IS NO SUCH CRIMINAL GOD.

Islam was the invention and creation of Muhammad. There was no Allah. The Koran is the teachings of Muhammad and not any God. By not exposing the truth of Islam, and trying to be politically correct and not be labeled as a racist or Islamaphobic , these people utilizing these terms are doing us all a grave disservice. By perpetrating the myth of a hijacking and perversion of the teachings of Islam, they are granting Islam – legitimacy.

Iranian News Service reports: Zionist regime's allies to receive response on World Qods Day

Very disturbing article in the Iranian press:

Supporters of the Zionist regime will receive their response during the world Qods Day’s rallies, government spokesman, Gholam-Hossein Elham, said Wednesday.

The spokesman made the remarks during his weekly press conference while commenting on the current visit to the occupied Palestine of the US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Qods Day is held each year on the last Friday of Muslims fasting month of Ramadan after it was nominated by the late Founder of the Islamic Republic, Imam Khomeini, as a day to voice the protest of the Islamic Ummah against the Zionists.

The day falls on October 12 this year.

“The US loses all opportunities to cooperate with regional and other world states by trying to support a regime (the Zionist regime) which is now at its weakest political and social position,” Elham said.

He warned that Washington’s insistence on its wrong policies and arrogant approaches would have no result “but further political disgrace” for itself.

Referring to the approaching World Qods Day, the spokesman stressed, “Supporters of the Zionist regime will definitely receive the final response for their support on that day.”

I asked a friend, Abe, in Israel what he thought of this news article. This is his response:

"Al Qods" (The Holiest) is the Muslim Arab name for Jerusalem. Qods day (Jerusalem Day) is celebrated every year on the last friday of the holy month of
Ramadan, according to the Muslim Calender. This year it will fall on Oct 12th.

The Iranian declaration talks about mass rallies and not about a specific armed attack. The situation in Iran is unstable, with many young people opposed to
the theocracy, and inciting people to rally against the Great Satan (America) and the Junior Satan (Israel), would take the people's attention away from their anti-government feelings and unite them against the Double-Satan's.

Al Qods Day is a "Solidarity Day" to ostensibly show the world that the Muslim "Uma" (nation) stands in solidarity with the poor Palestinians, victimized by the cruel, inhuman Zionists.

In actual fact, it's used to keep the people incited and angry, uniting them against a "cruel" regime, so that the "lesser" problem of bad government is pushed back in the people's minds.

This technique is common and has been used for centuries to distract the people's minds from what is happening at home. It is used freely in the ME, and is a large part of the ME problem. It takes their attention away from the bad schools, terrorist organizations running their lives, poverty, corruption
and more.

While Iran (with it's lovable proxy, Hezbollah) is "dying" to attack the "Zionist Entity", I doubt that the declaration means anything of the sort. I believe that it pertains to mass rallies.

If I am wrong, I trust Israeli Intelligence to prepare the IDF in due time.
