Summer Adventures Along the Cascade Loop

Cascade Loop Comfort Zone

Nephew Hayden, from Austin, visited for two weeks. We had fun visiting family and playing along the route. he got to go on his first over night backpacking trip, slaughter fish and gorge himself on Hukleberries!

New Growth

I went up into Pipestone Canyon burn area yesterday… willows and weeds are rising from the ashes.


Keeping Green

… instead of black.  My husband has been busy keeping a green space around our house… Old school, hoses and sprinklers.


Fire Sunsets

Smoke and haze are causing amazing sunsets. The super moon tonight may be glowing red in the Methow Valley.
