Mens. De allra flesta damer har något att berätta om sin mens, antingen hur mycket problem de har eller någon pinsam historia från när de var yngre. De flesta herrar vet också en del om mens. Antingen att de knullat någon som haft mens eller haft en kompis eller flickvän som legat och grämt sig över sina menssmärtor.

Ingen undgår menstruation.

Vad är mens?

Hypofysen (i hjärnan) säger åt äggledarna att bilda hormon och att låta ett ägg mogna. Ägget färdas genom äggledarna ner till livmodern, som förberett ett lager näringsrikt slem ifall ägget skulle bli befruktat. Om ägget inte blir befruktat upplöses ägget och ut ur livmodern, samt fittan, kommer blod. Det är när blodet kommer ut och hamnar i brallan, som det kallas mens.

När får man mens?

Under puberteten brukar mensen komma för första gången. Sedan får man den ungefär en gång i månaden ända tills man kommer till klimakteriet. Vi kvinnor föds med ungefär 400 000 ägganlag, så det är en hel del ägg och mensveckor vi går igenom.

En menscykel (från första mensdagen till den dagen innan den första mensdagen) brukar vara ungefär mellan 25 och 35 dagar. Mensen kan försenas eller till och med utebliva om man är stressad eller orolig.

Hur yttrar sig mens?

Man brukar förstå att det är mens det handlar om när man ser att trosan är fylld med brunt eller rött blod. Det kan lukta lite illa, järn eller gammalt blod. Det luktar oftast som mens.

Mängden blod som kommer ut brukar vara ungefär tre matskedar. Jag, med andra, tycker att det känns som mer.. Men! Enligt forskare och doktorer är det tre matskedar som gäller.

De flesta brukar få lite ont i nedre delen av magen eller ryggen när de har mens. Vissa kan till och med må lite illa, och några andra kan få så ont att de inte kan stå upp. Diarré och kräkningar är inte heller ovanligt för de med stor menssmärta.

Är mens äckligt?

Det är ungefär lika äckligt som vilken annan kroppssaft som helst. Svett, wax, slem, var och blod är naturliga saker. Slem och blod är det som förekommer i mens och är egentligen ofarliga substanser för exempelvis förtäring (= man dör inte om man äter mens).

Vissa tycker att mens är det äckligaste som finns, andra tycker att mens är en del av livet och/eller kvinnligheten.

Kan man knulla när man har mens?

Ja, det kan man. Faktum är att det går alldeles utmärkt. Under själva mensen är fittan känsligare än vanligt och då kan det vara ännu skönare att ha sex! Dessutom är bästa kuren mot mensvärk ett redigt knull, eftersom sex får mensmusklerna att slappna av.

Vissa kvinnor kan känna sig ofräscha när de har mens och kan därför ibland känna sig för "äckliga" för att vilja ha sex. De borde tänka om, enligt mig!

Kan man bli gravid när man har sex under mensdagarna?

Jo, man kan ju bli det.. Det finns faktiskt inget som heter "säkra dagar" när det kommer till ens menscykel, tyvärr! Naturen är på så sätt väldigt lurig.

Så man ska skydda sig?

Absolut! Inte bara för graviditetsrisk, utan också för att könssjukdomar överförs lättare när man har mens, eftersom blodet är utsatt och är i direktkontakt med eventuella virus. Man kan se det som att broarna mellan virus och kropp stärks under mensen, och därav har lättare att komma i kontakt med varandra. Kondom är som vanligt det bästa, och enda sättet, att skydda sig mot oönskade könssjukdomar.

Sitter och känner att jag inte alls är sugen på att förtära kopiösa mängder alkohol ikväll. Sitter och känner att jag hellre sitter med en varm vetekudde på magen, dricker te och tittar på 21. Men, har man lovat bort sig så har man. Jag behöver dock få tag på alvedon innan, då min kvinnlighet gjort sig påmind (Det gör den typ varannan månad nu för tiden) och min mage värker. Allt som gör mig till kvinna värker.

Egentligen borde jag stanna hemma för alla medmänniskors skull. Ni som följt denna blogg vet hur jag blir när min kvinnlighet gör sig påmind. Jag gråter, skrattar och slåss om vartannat och borde spärras in med 200 g choklad från Fazer och något varmt att ha på magen. Helst med en hög filmer och en skön säng med obeskrivligt många kuddar och täcken i bästa material.

Hursomhelst, anledningen till detta inlägg är att än en gång försöka överbevisa att Lykke Li is the shit. Kika själv.
