We asked why we were being kept there, and apparently, we were staying there until they felt that a 'breach of the peace' was no longer likely to occur. I tried to quiz a couple of them on how this wasn't a human rights abuse, as we weren't allowed to go to the toilet, and they wouldn't give us any water. I was perfectly reasonable but they didn't want to know. Whenever anyone tried to escape they were violently pushed back in, although there were a few good scuffles, one of which resulted in one of them getting their hat stolen. TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER they started letting people out in ones and twos, but about 15 of us stayed, because we wanted to leave as a group. THREE HOURS LATER we were allowed to go free, although we had to give them our name and address when we left, otherwise we would have got arrested.

SO FAR I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH BORIS AND HIS HUMAN RIGHTS POLICIES. It should also be noted that the BNP just walked past with no trouble.

• found out that I am indeed graduating from Rose on May 2nd
• wandered down the hall to the Humanities office to get something to get rid of a major league headache
• sent an IM to Saon's former foster father, who is in the States currently, that I didn't have any updated info as to Saon's current address, phone number, or whereabouts (though it wouldn't surprise me if he turned up in Minnesota).

There was a lot of not a whole lot going on here in the lab. I got paid for March today. It will pay part of next months rent, my OG&E bill and my internet/phone bill.

Then I'll be in my usual state of financial embarrassment again.

I've already been approved for financial aid at UCO for both Fall 08 and Spring 09. It's a nice chunk of change. I'm going to go up to UCO tomorrow sometime and get some particulars about enrollment, work study jobs, and other stuff I'll need to know before I grace that campus with my presence in August.

Why do I think that everything's going a wee bit too fast for me? SLOW THE HELL DOWN!!!

On the 2nd May Sean 'Diddy' Combs will be honoured with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The mogul admits that he wasn't sure which of his names would be featured on the star.
