Descripción: Soul Calibur 4 (le diré SC4 de ahora en adelante) es la continuación de la saga del mismo nombre, es un juego de peleas con armas como son las espadas, escudos, martillos, etc.

Hablemos un poco sobre ellos; creo que no hablare sobre los personajes clásicos ya que bien todos los conocen o bien se pueden encontrar en cualquier página de internet referente a SC4.

Algol

En uno de los Trailers de Namco aparecia un hombre de pelo blanco, bien, este es Algol, no se sabe mucho de él, de hecho, muchos aun lo consideran un rumor aunque apareció una imagen que lo confirma dentro de SC4.

Hilde

Ya también muy conocida, aparece en las imágenes del juego (y en la portada de la versión de Xbox 360), usa una lanza y una espada corta, hasta ahora se le considera un personaje demasiado fuerte (al parecer, en los juegos que se han mostrado a la prensa y otros desarrolladores es un tanto desequilibrada) pero muy diferente a todos los anteriores.

Los Personajes Extras son diseños originales de varios artistas japoneses que realmente no pertenecen al mundo de SC, mas dan diversidad a los personajes.

Angol Fear

Creada por Mine Yoshizaki, viene del mundo de “Sgt. Frog” siendo la prima de Angol Mois, es de piel obscura y pelo blanco, usa una lanza con forma de cruz y un contra-peso al final de esta.

Ashlotte

Creada por “Oh! great”, es un personaje mecánico, ya que muestra engranajes en el abdomen y brazos, mas tiene aspecto humano, ella usa un hacha con una punta de lanza en el otro lado.

Scheherazade

Creada por Yutaka Izubuchi, es una “elfa” (o tiene rasgos de) que usa una capa y una espada larga muy delgada, más parecida a un florete.

Shura

Creada por Hiroya Oku, usa ropa negra y calaveras de aspecto demoniaco (como lo describen en varios sitios) en su hombro, usa 2 katanas y 2 wakizashi (espada corta oriental, de hoja curva).

Los personajes Invitados son del universo de George Lucas, lo cual ha causado mucha controversia, Yoda y Darth Vader no necesitan presentación, solo decir que serán únicos para cada edición (Yoda para la de Xbox 360 y Darth Vader para la de PS3).

“Starkiller”

Es el aprendiz secreto de Darth Vader, el cual aparecerá en el nuevo juego de Lucas Arts; Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Mecánicas de Juego:

Aquí es algo interesante, hasta ahora hay pocas cosas confirmadas y siendo que todo lo hemos visto de juegos no terminados cualquier cosa pude ser agregada y eliminada.

Soul Charge, fuera! Si, al parecer ha desaparecido del juego.

Salto->Ataque Bajo, recuerdan cuando podían saltar y atacar para hacer un ataque bajo? Ese movimiento universal (estaba para todos los personajes) ya no está más.

Notaran en las nuevas imágenes y videos que hay una nueva barra debajo de la vida y un “diamante” de color a un extremo de la barra de vida, bien esto es para la mecánica de bloqueado:
Cada vez que bloquees este diamante se irá tornando rojo, cada vez que ataques se volverá azul, cuando esté completamente rojo tu oponente podrá romper una parte de tu armadura y de esta manera causar más daño, si rompe las 3 partes de tu armadura puede ejecutar un movimiento final el cual te matara instantáneamente sin importar la cantidad de vida que te quede.

También, la idea de Crear a tu personaje (Create a Soul) fue llevada más allá, ya que no solo puedes darle nuevas armaduras a tus personajes creados, si no también a los personajes ya diseñados por los programadores y las elecciones que hagas sobre su armadura afectara tu manera de juego ya que algunas armaduras apoyaran la defensa o ataque de tu personaje.

Al crear un personaje las opciones son más diversas, desde color de cabello y piel, hasta la profundidad de la voz y detalles de ese estilo.

Otra mecánica que se ha implementado es el que en algunos combates se cambiaran los personajes mientras te atacan, muy al estilo de Tekken Tag.

Por cierto “Chronicles of the Sword” (crónicas de la espada) desapareció, dejando su lugar a lo que llaman “Tower of Lost Souls” (torre de almas perdidas) donde tendrás que ir subiendo los niveles para llegar a un cofre en la cima.

El manejo de los poderes de la fuerza para los personajes invitados se manejara mediante una barra especial la cual se consumirá cada vez que se use un poder, cuando está este vacía empezara a consumir la vida del personaje en vez.

Esta vez, SC4 tendrá un modo online, no se sabe más de este.

Y bien, eso fue todo, probablemente haya más cosas que no mencione, si las saben pónganlas como comentario, no?

Por cierto, sobre Kratos, se rumora que aparecerá en la versión para PS3, pero no es más que eso, un rumor, Savvy?

..träffade jag ombord på Gotlandsfärjan när han reste till ön inför ett bröllop. Jag noterade honom redan vid incheckningen i Nynäshamn, då han tillsammans med sin mamma skrattande kommenterade något. Hans utseende var lite speciellt. Han hade en hatt neddragen i pannan, skägg och mandelformade bruna ögon bakom glasögonen. Han fick mig att tänka på en halv-ortodox jude, av någon anledning.

Min lilla nisch

När jag löser biljett på Gotlandfärjan, brukar jag välja ekonomialternativet för att sedan fatta posto vid en slags fönsternisch (eller kanske det heter ventilnisch på sjön) ? :) strax intill soldäck, där rökning är tillåten. Där finns också eluttag, så jag kan ladda min mobil. Därefter brukar jag ägna mig åt att läsa, meditera, lösa korsord eller helt enkelt knoppa, om fastlandsvistelsen tagit alltför hårt på mina krafter. Enda irritationsmomentet är när rökarna springer ut och in i isande blåst, men det får jag ju stå ut med.

Sol & Måne

Jag hade tillbringat någon timme på denna min favoritplats när Kim kom ångande i korridoren med en Mariefredsöl i näven. (Lämpligt nog, eftersom han visade sig bo i just den staden). Jag gjorde honom sällskap på "rökdäck", där vi ägnade oss att kverulera över hur omänskligt behandlade vi rökare blir nuförtiden. Det framgick av vidare resonemang att även Kim var Tvilling, vilket förstås resulterade i att han följde mig till min viloplats och fortsatte kommunicera om allt mellan himmel och jord.
Plötsligt upptäckte jag en tatuering under hans högra öra. Det var det glyptiska tecknet för Solen, som jag använder inom astrologin!
-Varför i Herrans namn har du tatuerat in Solen under örat? frågade jag förvånat.
-Jag har Månen under andra örat! svarade han och visade. Mycket riktigt. Under vänstra örat hade han en glyptisk halvmåne intatuerad.

Excentrisk trio

Vidare samtal gav vid handen att tatueringarna hade sina ursprung i Kims fascination för Kabbalah (den judiska mystiscismen) och i viss mån också var kopplade till hans religion- Rastafari.
Vi hade en mycket trevlig överfärd och träffade dessutom på en äldre excentrisk österrikare som jublande glad utbrast:
-Jaaa...ännu finns tet riktiga männischor! när han hittade oss på "rökdäck". Han var en inbiten tobaksrökare.
Vi tre utgjorde antagligen ett intressant blickfång för övriga färjepassagerare, när vi senare stod i en liten cirkel inne i färjans lite mer befolkade delar och diskuterade kvantfysik, orgelmusik och allt annat mellan himmel och jord. Många förstulna blickar kastades åt vårt håll, till den exhibitionistiske Kims stora förtjusning. Nåja, även jag tycker i sanningens namn om att chockera omgivningen en smula och det är jag ganska säker på att vår äldre österrikiske vän också gjorde, att döma av hans något uppseendeväckande klädsel. Han hade äppelknyckarbyxor som var nedstoppade i höga ridstövlar. :)

Jag tog ned Kims födelsetid och- plats för att ställa hans horoskop, vilket skedde ganska snart efter min hemkomst. Jag gav honom några korta smakprov via telefon på vad jag åstadkommit i tolkningsväg och han blev högeligen imponerad.

En gammal bekant

-En synnerligen kompetent astrolog som jag träffade på färjan, sade han till värdparet.
Mick och Mia, som de heter, blev intresserade och inviterade mig till sitt hem.
När jag anlände dit någon dag senare, visade det sig att brudgummen Mick var en gammal bekant som jag inte sett på över 20 år! :) Han tog tillfället i akt och återlämnade ett exemplar av "Stora spådomsboken" som han lånat en gång i tiden. (Till min 13-årige son Maxis stora förtjusning. Han är ju smått galen i allt vad ockultism heter)

Mick och hans nyblivna fru Mia öppnade den 1 juni ett presentcafé i Levide gamla affär. Jag ska vara ställets husastrolog och har försökt vara dem behjälpliga vid iordnigställandet av den gamla f d ICA-affären.

OVAN: Kim tillsammans med sin mamma på ett nöjesfält någonstans i Sverige. (Eller var det kanske Danmark?)

As mentioned in one of my recent posts we took Maxi to Legoland the other week and it proved to be one of the most exctiting days of his young life. Maxi was very taken with the Legoland show and its star, Johnny Thunder (see above).  Anyway judge for yourself as Mr Steel presents Legoland - The Movie!

Det här är den stolte MC-turisten Lasse Berggren på sin skinande och väl underhållna Suzuki Intruder vid Shellmacken i Burgsvik.
Jag fotade honom i samband med att jag och Shiva besökte Agapanthus, Pedro, Mini, Midi och Maxi. Där träffade jag också en gemensam bloggvän till Agapanthus och mig, nämligen den trevliga och mycket sympatiska Madonnan, som besökte mitt ex. Det är roligt att kunna sätta ansikten på sina medbloggare s a s! :)
Madonnan (som f ö har en välbesökt blogg på Aftonbladet) meddelade att när hon reste över till ön, var färjan fylld med "knuttar" och "spättor" vilkas medelålder tycktes ligga någonstans runt 40+. Det förvånade och gladde henne, eftersom hon trodde att MC-åkningen var ett intresse förbehållet yngre årgångar.

Shiva har tagit sig en vilopaus från barnskriket och sommarbestyren i Burgsvik på södra Gotland. Husse och Hjärtevännen hälsar på hos Agapanthus, Pedro och barnen Mini, Midi och Maxi. Shiva minns med vemod de goda tiderna då Pedro försåg henne med allsköns godbitar, tills hon likt en stor svart boll rullade fram. Nuförtiden får man vara glad för om det serveras något konstigt hundfoder gjort på havsalger!

Let's see, I am now reading Redwall to my brothers. They like it so far.

I was reading in the living room and everyone would be quite amused as I read things like: Brother Alf remarked that Friar Hugo had excelled himself, as course after course was brought to the table. Tender freshwater shrimp garnished with cream and rose leaves, deviled barley pearls in acorn puree, apple and carrot chews, marinated cabbage stalks steeped in creamed white turnip with nutmeg.

Maxi has been really obnoxious in the mornings. She'll squawk and fly around until someone gets up. It's because the sun is up earlier, and birds are up with the sun. Except Loki, but we cover his cage at night. Maxi just wouldn't stand for that.

Let's see.....I have been writing a lot in a different story. I can't tell you what it's about though, 'cause it's a secret. Shhh! I have done much with the one I have been posting on this blog. I think it's only purpose was to motivate me to actually to write, because I can't see anything coming out of that one. I have pretty much abandoned it for the time being. Sorry Avri, Christon and Gareth. :'(

I am contemplating changing the theme for this. For those with Wordpress blogs I am thinking Neat or Ocadia. I'm just being lazy because if I change the theme I have to change the colors in the text again because it absolutely has to match! I guess I could just make it all black and be done with it, but where is the fun in that I ask you?

Gondwana es un grupo musical de reggae chileno, creado por I-Locks Labbé en 1987 en la población La Pincoya de Santiago. Poseen 5 discos, estos son Gondwana o Together, como fue lanzado en EEUU, Alabanza, Made In Jamaica , Crece y Resiliente. Por muchos años contó con la voz del carismático líder Quique Neira quién colaboró con el real éxito en Chile y el extranjero, tocando en festivales de reggae en Estados Unidos y Jamaica, cuna del movimiento. Actualmente la banda  vive su tercer cambio de cantante despues de Kingo, asumió como cantante Maximiliano Valdés, alias Padawan, joven de 20 años que hizo voces en la última placa de Gondwana, “Resiliente” (2006).

On top of playing host to a thick-necked boorish Aussie for a few days and enduring a visit off of my brother's ill-judged eldest daughter, I have received broken wind of some actual factual imposterisation.

It seems someone on a big boys' newspaper believes me to be someone I'm actually factually not. A good name has been bismirched and stuff, so lawyers have been summoned and much stamping of feet has taken place.

Now I'm told by Klippings, my bestest wheelman, that following our recent sojourn down to meet up with the Norse worshippers, the trusty old rusty Maxi might have caused its final pile up.

The car that has been with myself and my wife (Mrs Belm) since our oldest of childs, Fennel, was but a smallish creature, is either in need of a radical overhaul or should be dispatched to the scrappers yard forthwith.

This photographic representation was taken on the day we took actual factual deliverage of the Maxi and went out for a bit of fire-raising as a celebration. There's me unloading stuff whilst Mrs Belm (my wife) hands the accelerant to Fennel:

I am now seeking suggestions for a replacement vehicle and at the behesting of Sammy-Lou, my apprentice, will be looking for a more environmentally friendly form of transportation.

Klippings has already come up with a shortlist of 1 which he maintains actually factually tickles each and every box and he assures myself that despite the name - Hummer - it has nothing to do with music.

He is off to get sales brochure of the vehicle, which he also assures me is ideal for travailing down country lanes and is greener than a lush grassy field of frogs.

Maybe the Hummer will be the silver lineage of the cloudy day I'm harbouring underneath?

So, why do I love it? Well, it's super maxi and elegant, which means you can show off your amazing legs whilst looking amazingly classy at the same time (a rarity in women these days). It's totally feminine with its coral pink colour, soft silk/lycra fabric and gorgeous strap-bow. The big bow has been in for a while now, yet it is often worn totally wrong. This design shows a way how it should be worn: not too OTT in size and exquisitely placed on the side strap. This also leads to another fashion-love of mine at the moment, the one-strap shoulder dress (love them!).

I personally wouldn't team this dress up with a large amount of accessories, or else it will look over the top and lose it's elegance, not to mention killing out the simple design of the dress. A cute soft-gold clutch would do the trick.

As for shoes? Simple, soft gold (NOT bright gold) strap shoes. Again, we don't want to overpower the dress with the footwear. 

So remember, the dress is the statement in this occasion.

Die Banderole hat ihre Gloriole verloren und als laienspirituelles Ereignis keine Bedeutung mehr. Das sind - kurz umrissen - die Ergebnisse einer Scheidungsstudie der Statistik Austria (17. Juni 2008).

Wodurch begann die Talfahrt? Hauptgründe: Falsche Erziehung der Töchter durch Mütter (Cinderella-Mythos). Verlust der Werteorientierung (Vorbilder) und Autoritätsverlust bei den Kontrollinstanzen (Schulen, Parteien). Persönliche und charakterliche Unreife (Jugendehen, Frühschwangerschaften). Finanzielle Sorgen im Alltag (Teuerungsraten, Schulden).

Gründe, warum Ehen scheitern

Der Imago-Faktor: Das Scheitern der Ehen ist heute nicht mehr stigmatisiert. Es verhält sich wie mit der Gratiszeitung oder den 1.000 Freiminuten am Handy. Gelesen. Weggeworfen. SIM-Karte leer. Betreiber gewechselt. Was nichts kostet, ist nichts Wert, wird nicht geschätzt. Eine Schnellscheidung kostet 180 Euro.

Der Politik-Faktor: Die Ehe wird zu sehr als privates Vergnügen gesehen. In Wahrheit ist sie ein öffentliches Ereignis, das den Jungen und Kindern auf natürliche Weise eine Ahnung von Familiensinn und Zusammengehörigkeitsgefühl vermitteln könnte. Die Ehe hätte Vorbildfunktion. Doch sie wird nicht mehr als atomares politisches Ereignis gesehen (Ehe als Kern- und Keimzelle der Gesellschaft). Zum Beginn des
3. Jahrtausends ist sie in die Bedeutungslosigkeit geschlittert. Es wurde egal, ob jemand verheiratet ist oder nicht. Das Image der Ehe ist im Keller. Die Ehe wurde Kellerkind. Ohne Aussicht und Zukunft.

Die Image-Terminatoren der Ehe

Der Imageschaden wurde von Hand erzeugt. Die Fritzls der Ehe, jene, die sie kaputt machten, sind benennbar:

• Treibende Kräfte sind österreichische Mainstream-Frauenzeitschriften wie "Wienerin", "Woman", "Life&Style", die voll sind mit Beiträgen über den nächsten Seitensprung. Sie sind medialer Transportriemen und befördern maßgeblich die Einstellung von Frauen in den Dreißigern zum "Anything Goes", das so lange geht, bis nichts mehr geht. Wer den schnellen Seitensprung ideologisch befördert (wie einst Veronika Pelikan als Chefredakteurin der "Wienerin"), macht sich durch mediale Verunreinigung des Denkens Mitschuld an einer gesamtgesellschaftlichen Entwicklung, die Österreich nun hat.
• Die politischen Frauenvereine beleben den Tod der Ehe. Sie impfen Frauen ab 20 (und schon darunter)
  ein Supergirl-Image ein. Verkürzt gesagt verheißen die Vereine, die oft unter dem Tütü des "Kinderschutzes" antanzen, dass Frauen die Superheldinnen von Heute sind, um deren gepiercten Bauchnabel die Welt rotiert. Dadurch gerät das Soziale, Kollegiale, Partnerschaftliche als Grundwert in den Hintergrund. Die Frauenvereine, die großteils aus lesbischen Aktivistinnen bestehen, kommunizieren das neurotisch-narzistische Selbstgefühl (von Slogans "Abtreibung ist Frauensache" [falsch] bis "Scheidung ist Frauensache" [noch falscher]) so lange nach Außen, bis die feministische Grußbotschaft in den Köpfen der jungen Frauen hängen bleibt. Die Deformation ist irreparabel.
• Zuletzt trägt die SPÖ an der hohen Scheidungsrate Mitschuld. Ihre liberalen Gesten in familienpolitischen Angelegenheiten zeigen Orientierungslosigkeit und zermürben und zerstören einen ganzen Gesellschaftsverband. Dieser zerfällt zusehends. Die Partei der Proletarier aller Länder riss die Schwingtür für schnelle Scheidungen so weit auf, dass die Leute massenweise durchdrängen.

Was sind die traurigen Zahlen und Fakten der Scheidungsstudie der Statistik Austria?

Österreichweit: Geschiedene Ehen 2007 - 20.516 (+ 0,9 % zu 2006)

Scheidungsquoten (Vergleichsprozentsatz zu geschlossenen Ehen aus gleichem Jahrgang):

• 2007: 49,5 %
• 2006: 48,9 %
• 2005: 46,4 %
• 2004: 46,1 %
• 2003: 44,0 %
• 2002: 45,2 %
• 2001: 46,0 %
• 2000: 43,1 %
• 1999: 40,5 %
• 1998: 38,6 %
• 1996: 38,3 %
• 1992: 33,7 %
• 1988: 29,5 %

In den letzten 20 Jahren stieg der Faktor Ehescheidung in der Gesamtgesellschaft Österreich von 29,5 % auf 49,5 %.

International liegt die Scheidungsrate in der Türkei bei rund 10 %. In Italien bei 12 %. Auf der iberischen Halbinsel Portugal und Spanien bei 20 %. Japan: 33 %. Holland und Frankreich: 38 %.

Die österreichischen "Bundesländerquoten" für das Jahr 2007:

Wien (SPÖ dominiert): 64,2 % aller Ehen geschieden (!)
NÖ (ÖVP dominiert, aber Wien-Nähe und "rote Hochburgen"): 48,4 %
Steiermark (SPÖ dominiert): 47,5 %
Vorarlberg (ÖVP dominiert): 46,8 %
Salzburg (SPÖ dominiert): 45,1%
Kärnten (FPÖ/BZÖ dominiert): 41,7 %
OÖ (ÖVP dominiert): 41,1 %
Burgenland (SPÖ dominiert): 39,8 %
Tirol (ÖVP dominiert): 37,9 %

SPÖ-Bundesländer ohne Moral

In jenen drei großen Bundesländern, die unter SPÖ Einfluss stehen, sind die Scheidungsraten am Höchsten.

Österreichweit gingen die Ehen im Durchschnitt nach 9,2 Jahren vor das Familiengericht. 1,4 Prozent ließen sich nach nur einem Jahr scheiden. Aus den geschiedenen Ehen 2007 blieben 21.061 Kinder als Scheidungswaise auf der Strecke.
71,4 % sind minderjährig (unter 18 Jahre). Die durchschnittliche Kinderzahl (alle Altersstufen) lag bei 1,03.

Die Statistik Austria führt Buch: 1.306 (6,2 %) Kinder waren zur Zeit der Scheidung noch nicht drei Jahre alt.
2.451 (11, 6%) im Kindergartenalter (3 bis unter 6 Jahre). 3.689 (17,5 %) im Volksschulalter (6 bis unter 10 Jahre). 3.892 (18,5 %) waren zwischen 10 bis unter 14 Jahre alt und weitere 3.693 (17, 5%) Jugendliche von
14 bis unter 18 Jahren.

42,5 Prozent der Ehen kinderlos

Insgesamt blieben 42,5 % aller im Jahr 2007 geschiedenen Ehen (8.725 Fälle) kinderlos. Aus 4.822
(23,5 %) Ehen ging je ein Kind hervor. 5.193 (25,3 %) Paare hatten zwei und 1.776 (8,7 %) drei oder mehr Kinder.

88,4% aller Scheidungen erfolgten im Einvernehmen (§ 55a EheG: 18.132 Fälle). Dieser Wert ist über
die letzten Jahre fast konstant (1998 - 2007: 87,4 % - 90 %). Der Rest, knapp 12 % (in Zahlen: 2.384), sind in Österreich strittige Scheidungen, die die Gerichte lange und intensiv beschäftigen.

Die Gerichte dürfen nicht klagen. 2007 wurden durchschnittlich pro Monat 1.710 Scheidungsklagen bei den Bezirksgerichten eingebracht. Eine Ehescheidung dauerte 2007 im Schnitt 1,8 Monate. In 74,8 % der Fälle verhandelte man unter 3 Monate. Die harten Nüsse (0,6 %) der Ehescheidungen dauern drei und mehr Jahre.

I've received a lot of presents in my time but I was particularly touched by my button tie which Maxi made for me at nursery for Father's day.  However, all this  paled into nothing as compared with the building excitement on Sunday of our impending trip to Legoland (which as I write happened yesterday - more to follow including a video). We had to measure Maxi, who is now 106cm high and qualifies to go on most of the rides. When asked what he was most excited about number one was going to the driving school and 'going on the cars' followed closely by 'the doors you can go in and out of...' ?? No, me neither.  

Jag förstår inte denna besatthet av gräddfil för fy självaste jävla fan vad folk har köpt gräddfil idag. Inte så konstigt kanske när den kostar 5 spänn för 250g och det är ju några ören billigare mot ord.pris och det gillar ju folk tydligen. Kan inte folk bara välja att köpa nåt annat istället för gräddfil, typ, saft eller nåt? Då skulle jag få så mycket mindre att göra. En hel pall full med gräddfil har gått åt idag och det är bra jävla mycekt gräddfil ska du ha klart för dig.

Det ska bli intressant och se vad Goran tycker om avdelningen imorrn när han kommer dit och ser hur det ser ut. Det ser dock bra ut men jag hann inte med allt, även med hjälp av två personer. Visar det sig att han gnäller så ska jag äta oppen! Imorrn så är jag iaf ledig och det ska bli skönt. Jag ska träna tidigt är det tänkt så jag får mycket dag till mig själv att ta det lugnt på. Det ser jag fram emot. Onsdagen och torsdagen är dock inga dagar jag längtar efter. Det kommer bli helt vansinnigt men sålänge jag inte stänger eller avslutar på avdelningen så gör det inte så mycket.

Nu är det dags att förbereda för att krama kudden och sova. Jag har en känsla av att det kommer bli gött sov inatt!

i finally finished my Maxi Dress

I know i am slow, but life takes hold at times....

So on my way home from my meeting, i decided that i needed to put together what i was going to sew with what fabric. I have a lot of fabric that needs to be made into something, and i need to get off my butt and get to sewing... soo i spent time tonight to organize what dress i will make with what material....

I got this material, i love the '70s-ish pattern on the material but didnt realize it was charmuse.... so i could not make what i had originally wanted to make.. so i opted to make this cute lil tunic top with it...

This material is a georgette that i love the pattern on... again didnt use it to make what i had thought i would so i found a cute top i could make out of it and wear a cami under

Last year i bought a nice red satin evening top, and didnt have any thing to wear with it... i found this great crushed velvet that i can make a nice long skirt with and be ready for the christmas/ball season early ;)

I wanted to make a jumper to wear to chapter/court meetings... so i got this KUTE crushed velvet material that said "WHITE"...yeah right.. that beast is cream lol but i will still make my jumper just wont wear to chapter/court meetings

I found this fabric in WALLY WORLD...gotta love Walmart... any who... it is a jersey material with again a '70s-ish feel to it *do you see a theme here? lol* i saw a wrap dress at Lane Bryant and knew i could make the dress for less than the 60 bucks they were asking...so i have this McCalls pattern for YEARS and never found the right material to make it with.... NOW I HAVE IT woohoo... i love the sleeves on this dress...

I bought this material from Vogue Fabrics in Evanston, IL.... I LOVE THEM!!! and miss them.. well i went home a couple of years ago and bought a gaggle of material... this is one of the ones left... again i thought it was white white..its more of an eggshell color...I thought this shift dress with the sweetheart neckline would be nice with this material...

Mini's are back... glad i have great legs lol... i got this white eyelet from Vogue Fabrics in Evanston, Il and i am going to make the lil dress i need to get some lining and i will be set to go to make this one

I bought this fabric back in dec, didnt know what i would make with it, but i found this pattern memorial day at Hancock..they were having an INSANE sale... yes i hurt myself there lol

I love the funky circle on this material and thought it would be cute for this dress... I still have not decided if i am going to make it with sleeves or with out.. we shall see....

Last but not least the other maxi dress pattern i have.. but i am not going to make a maxi... i am going to make the mini dress.... now to find some where to go with all my new clothes i am making....

Aahhh the power of the sticker chart...

Much excitement this morning as Maxi finally completed his 'Really Useful Sticker Chart' and received his present, a 'Spencer Lego Set' (Spencer is the fastest engine in Thomas the Tank Engine).  And for this crude bribary mum and dad receive the pleasure of being allowed to sleep in until 0700hrs. Any disturbances before that and the daily sticker is rescinded.  As soon as Mirabelle understands the concept of stickers my life will be complete...

Keep in mind--not all cuts will flatter all figures. A petite frame could look childish if the dress isn't fitted enough (especially through the chest and shoulders), and the dress may conjure images of a tent on a busty woman if her waist isn't defined.
