For Whom:
Interships are open to all, regardless of age, sex etc.
Applicants should send a letter introducing themselves and an original article of no more than 650 words that they think would be suitable for publication in The Economist.

Interviews for short-listed candidates will be handled by the editors of the relevant publications.

This award, financed by the Marjorie Deane Foundation, is designed to provide work experience for a promising journalist or would-be journalist, who will spend three months of the summer at The Economist writing about economics and finance.
