The progression for the verse goes like this (played twice):
C --> G/C --> F/D --> F/C --> F/Bb --> F/G

That means your right hand plays: C, G, F, F, F, F in that order.

And your left hand plays: C, C, D, C, Bb, G in that order.

The alphabet to the right of (or under) the "/" sign means the bass note. When it is not there, you just place the same note as the chord symbol.

For example, when you see a "C". Play C chord on the right hand, and the C note on the left hand. But if you see "C/A", that means you should play C chord on the right hand, with the A note on the left hand.

The chorus goes like this (also played twice):

C --> C/A --> C/F --> G --> F/G -->G --> C

You will note that in the video, I played the F chord in its root position, but for the G chord, I used the 2nd inversion, and for the C chord, I used the 1st inversion. The different positions/inversions simply make it easier to change chords, without having to move my right hand too much. See my "Inversions" post if you need help in understanding inversions.

That's my haircut, by the way. ;3 Cute and simple honestly.

This was my hair before I got it cut. No more orange tips for me, lol. So, uhm nothing really happening in the summer. I'm driving more, that's about it. There's going to be another "ASIAN DAY OUTING" for 2008, this will be the second gathering lol. It'll be fun, it'll be on the 28th.

Well, there's this thing called the ...uh, ...part of me says I shouldn't say it, but the PO is on the 27 and 28. My friend Mandy might be able to come and join us, but I can only go on the 27, I mostly go for the corndogs and onion blossoms lol.

=3 New update, I started a new fund: laptop fund. I really need a new computer because my current one is just horrible...my brother did something to it, I swear D: lol, but it's alright...

That's all I have to say...

The boys and Grace are doing great. They have been having a lot of fun together. On June 14, the three of them had a lot of fun playing outside in a small children's pool. They were running around the pool, getting each other wet. They spent several hours outside running around and using every ounce of energy they had. Later that day, Mandy took the kids to Indianapolis to see her parents. Mandy's mom took the kids to Walmart and bought them some gifts. She bought each of the boys an outfit and a toy. Dylan got a small train set (because he has really been into trains lately, especially Thomas the Train).  Jonathan got a toy cell phone since he has been really getting into the phone.

The kids are also getting used to our newest family member, Lucy the cat. Mandy thought it would be nice to get a cat for the kids and to keep her company while  at work. Lucy is about 8 weeks old and with black fur and green eyes. She has quite the personality and loves to play. Lucy as taken up to Mandy quite a bit and is extremely patient with the kids. I cant believe how much she has grown in the week or so we have had her.

Any-case, that's about all I have for now. I'm sorry for not having any new pictures to post, but Mandy's camera is on the fritz and mine has no batteries. I plan on having some new pictures to post the next time i write.

Last night, Cliff didn't feel like going to see the fireworks and I really didn't want to so I watched The Bucket List on DVD. We rented it yesterday. It was really good, if a little predictable. I love Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. More on the Bucket List in a later post.

The chihuahuas were a little afraid of the fireworks and a little nervous...Tuffy more than Mandy. My brother's Rottie was even more scared. I think big dogs are more afraid of loud noises than little dogs. Why do people have to shoot those things? I stayed awake until they let up (about 1:00am) worrying about them catching our roof or backyard on fire because someone was shooting them in our direction.

Today, lazing with the chis around the house, reading, making out bills, washing clothes and watching TV.
