The CBS Big Brother 10 fan forum has taken a turn for the worst last night. I was sitting their watching a member post a photo of another woman as well as watch him threaten that he was going to post her full name and work address.

According to other sources, he posted another photo of another woman and her husband two days prior to last night. CBS you have to be kidding your viewers, your fan forum fans and consumers. Do you think that your fans do not realize that your moderators must be seeing this and doing nothing? Will you have your fans believe that your moderators do not have the moxie to do anything about the pursuance of harassment and threats made on other members, specifically women?

This is no longer that norm of online battles; this man is openly doing this on your fan forum. According to your rules and regulations of your user agreement, he can be held accountable. The question is why has he not been held accountable by you CBS and why have you CBS allowed this to continue on your fan forum? The buzz is that your mods received several complaints from those women when he did post their private info of photographs. Your moderators also received several complaints from other members who were appalled at what they were reading and viewing. I was advised that the complainants have sent your moderators snapshot photos of him posting their personal photos on your fan forum.

Wake up CBS, your consumers are not impressed with what they are reading and viewing. I noticed last night that you have more guests reading your fan forum then members logged onto your fan forum. At one point, over 2000 fans were reading this as guests with only over 100 logged in. CBS it is person like this that is depreciating your fan forum. A fan forum that once was very active and lively with good character postings. There was the odd battles on your fan forum as there is on any fan forum, but the actions of this person on your fan forums is thought of as shameful and disgraceful.

Once more, your mods are not on their jobs and it is blazingly clear that your policy of user agreement is not being followed or observed by some members that threaten and harass other CBS posters. Pay attention CBS and understand that every bit gets a viewer to elect to watch your shows or not. The postings last night that I viewed yesterday was disgusting, that this poster was permitted to do this to other members not once but twice. He also posted that he has information on other members and he plans to do the same thing to them. When will your mods CBS do their jobs? It is in fact your job CBS to moderate your fan forums, to make sure that all your policy and user agreement are being observed.

What I have viewed on your forum last night and on other days is outrageous and disturbing. That some of your members are stalking and tracking down other members and using their personal information against them on your fan forum. A fan forum that you CBS are responsible to uphold all policy on behalf of all your fan forum members. I certainly hope this is the last we see of this despicable posting by members that never talk about your show and who are only there to harass other members that may want to talk about your show.

This is a desperate story, but many children disappear each year.

For the life of me I can't understand why Kate McCann ( the mum ) refused to answer the following questions at all?Here are just a few and a link.

1. At around 10pm on May 3 when you entered the apartment what did you see? What did you do? Where did you look? What did you touch?

2. Did you search inside the bedroom wardrobe? (She replied she wouldn't answer).

3. (After being shown two photographs of her bedroom wardrobe) Can you describe its contents?

4. Why had the curtain behind the sofa in front of the side window (which was shown on a photo) been tampered with? Did someone go behind the sofa?

5. How long did your search of the apartment take after you detected Madeleine's disappearance?

6. Why did you say from the start that Madeleine had been abducted?

7. Assuming Madeleine had been abducted, why did you leave the twins alone to go to the "Tapas" and raise the alarm? The supposed abductor could have been in the apartment.

8. Why didn't you ask the twins at the time what had happened to their sister or why did you not ask later?

9. When you raised the alarm at the "Tapas" what exactly did you say?

10. What happened after you raised the alarm?

11. Why did you go and warn your friends instead of shouting from the apartment's veranda?

There are 48 questions in total- none of which she would answer. Why ?

A Portuguese police file containing almost 30,000 pages of evidence from the investigation into the disappearance of British girl Madeleine McCann was made public Monday.

A court clerk in the southern Portuguese town of Portimao, near where the child vanished last year in the Algarve region, said the file was available to journalists who filed a written request and appeared in person at the court.

Officials would then copy the file onto DVDs, which journalists would have to provide, the clerk said on condition of anonymity in line with department rules.

She said the file is divided into 17 volumes and comprises close to 30,000 pages.

Madeleine McCann vanished May 3, 2007, a few days before her fourth birthday, from a hotel room during a family vacation in Praia da Luz, a coastal Algarve town.

Last month, Portugal's attorney general ordered police to halt their 14-month investigation because detectives had uncovered no evidence of a crime.

The case will remain closed unless new evidence emerges.

Portuguese lawyers acting for Madeleine's parents, Kate and Gerry, gained official access to the files last week. The McCanns have said they hoped to find leads that private investigators could follow up on.

The McCanns have waged a far-reaching international campaign to find their daughter, but there has been no reliable indication of what might have happened to her despite numerous reported sightings from around the world.

What a turbulent week for Big Brother fans. The explosions and the confrontations were causing some fans not to sleep. Big Brother has very interesting characters on their show this season. You either love them or hate them and what's more, fans seem to change their minds weekly on whom they like and whom they hate.

April nominated Jessie and Memphis, much to my personal immense pleasure along with other fans. Dan has been chosen by America as their player for one week. I Knew Dan would be picked he is about the only one at this moment that America can trust. CBS one measly week is hardly giving your fans the joy of having the pleasure once more to play the game. I know I am not the only fan to feel cheated by the one-week tease. It would prove to be more interesting if you considered changing America's player each week. That would be fun to see and fun for the viewers. The plotting we could do would do much to enhance viewer attention. Lord knows we need something your fan forum is ridiculous!

Going with my usual routine and buzzing around the net, the fans have been talking about the explosions. Out of all HG's the one they seem to hate the most is Jessie. Some fans are sick of Jessie looking at himself in the mirror every 10 seconds and feel that he is very full of himself. Some want to see him out the door in a NY minute. Fans write they hate Jessie they wish he were gone. They call him an ass and other names. In ending as I zoomed around the net to see what the fans were saying, I left sites with the impression that many BB fans really do not care for Jessie and have grown tired of him.

April did promise Michelle she would not nominate Jessie or Michelle. April just could not stand the thought of passing up an excellent opportunity of trying to get rid of Jessie. Jessie who lied big time about what the banner said flying over the BB house is trying to pull his usual antics and pit people against each other. What Jessie does not realize is that he is only making the other HG's tasting early victory of his eviction and demise this week.

Big Brother host Julie Chan of CBS informed us on Thursday that the banner had nothing to do with the show or any HG. Julie put Michelle on the spot who was so red in the face that if the other HG's had paid attention the would have noticed that she was lying about what the banner said on national television. This week I hope, pray and plead with the fans to please vote to evict Jessie from the house. One more week of him is asking too much of fan loyalty.

After the nominations, the shit hit the fan in a big way, the arguments have been ongoing and turbulent some of them look like they will come to blows. Speaking of coming to blows, The Big Brother Message board has been very turbulent recently. (more about that later)!

The Big Brother House is like an internal Inferno, with Jessie, Memphis and Michelle doing their best to turn the house into a fiery incineration, they are slowly setting themselves on fire. The rest of the houseguests are aiming for them and even though they have their own personal differences with each other, each week they go with their plan. It will be interesting once they get rid of those three to how the house will divide once more and how they will turn on each other. This is a great group of HG's this season. Jessie, Michelle and Memphis are just inconvenient bodies for the time being. Stay tuned people, the Big Brother 10 show this week will be one of smite and fierceness.

The Big Brother Mods Corner: I am determined to keep up with the Big Brother fan forum as I promised this season. While CBS is being boneheaded and stubborn about keeping a fan forum that the fans continue to hate, there have been vast and marked improvements on the Big Brother 9 Message Board. Those characters that are responsible for several attacks are being dealt with a heavy hand.

However, the Big Brother 10 message board is a different ballpark all together. The fan inferno happening on the BB10 board may prove to be one of the wildest nutty group of people you ever want to read about. The once upon a time rock star is doing his utmost to cause friction on the BB board. This person feels that he is a card, a hoot and God's gift to women . When I observe his antics on the board and read from a woman his disgusting threats against her and his family, it leaves one to wonder if this guy is dealing with a full deck. Having said that,  I am not willing to give him too much of my blog space. I just do not really feel that this once upon a time rocker deserves that much attention, being that he is a cad in the truest sense of the word.

I prefer to go with what the Fan forum fight is about and it is about people that are so pitiful in human character that their whole day evolves around a MB. Yesterday I observed one such character using a picture of another member and posting it as her/his avatar. Needless to say, the shit hit the fan on the board. That is so typical of these characters that do this, they have a need to feel powerful over others and relatively have no power or control over their immediate lives. From what I understand, a number of complaints have been sent to the CBS Administration the posting of a persons private information is against CBS policy.

In effort to stop this type of barbaric behaviour, CBS must review their policy, note that it goes against TOS, and deal with the culprit effectively.

Alas, the plot thickens on the BB fan forum; the characters and members are in a range of fun warm people to other people that leaves one wide eyed with amazement and disdain.

I was alerted by comment that some of the " fun people fans" have taken issue with this blog. I made my way over to the BB10 forum and read what was being said by the "fun group of people". (You remember I mentioned that group who did anything and everything to discourage other members from becoming friendly with those they are in conflict with and who attacked OT posters daily)! I read and was really hurt to read that some of the "fun people" were bashing my little old blog. I had a good mind to register on the board and tell them off! I then decided no need to go that route, since the fans even in the negative sense were advertising my blog for me and to think I did not have to pay one dime for that free advertisment.

In effort to qualm the accusations of what was posted, I extend the following: I deny that my blog is not successful and offer that I have an average of over 10,000 readers per month. I am very proud of that accomplishment since I am the lone writer and do not write about every show that is on television. I only write about the shows I am fan of, I have never seen the need to write about shows I don't watch, what would be the point of that and how does that make sense.

I strenuously object that I write about every show, anyone going through this blog or any blog I own would come to the conclusion that the person stating this needs to get his/her eyes checked and I do recommend strong bifocals. There was the usual inquiries of what I was making on this blog, as always and as many of my readers know, I do not blog for money, I blog for human rights and I am quite successful in that dimension of gaining attention for the plight and rights of others such as children that need our help.

I further extend, my number of readers grows with each passing month and I do not always write about anything in certain months, so my average is actually higher. Having said this, I will also like to thank all my readers profusely and tremendously for reading my articles and giving me that extra exposure. My readers and following have been developed overt time and effort for a cause I believe in and fight for. In gaining my readers, I never once spammed any other sites, fan forums or message boards. I believe in fair play and since I do not like spamming, I do not practice it.

I also wish to thank every one of my readers; I appreciate your loyalty, thank-you very much. To those cynics that are less then appreciative of my blog, I can only say it is a dirty job but someone has to do it. That is why this site is named TRUTH IS PAGAN MEDIA THAT BITES. His first fame came when a gullible media believed his con-tricks that his machine is effective in finding the missing children who disappeared after Gert van Rooyen and Joey Haarhoff abducted them. He appeared on M-Net’s Carte Blanche in a show that reminded me of the vaudeville shows of the 1920s, fooling a reputable director such as George Mazarakis and an equally reputable anchor-journalist Ruda Landman.

With Krügel the so-called psychic Marietta Theunissen bamboozled thousands of viewers into believing that they had finally found the bones of the missing children. And Landman asked no critical questions, giving investigative journalism a bad name and destroying her journalistic reputation of years forever in a programme of less than an hour.

Earlier this year Krügel ventured into international territory and again the media fell for it hook, line and sinker: this time he claimed he and his machine would find the missing British toddler Madeleine McCann. One could expect that the British tabloids would ask no incisive questions as they are notorious in propagating pseudoscientific claims. But that a reputable newspaper such as The Guardian gave credence to Krügel’s story by publishing a photograph of him staring over the Portuguese sea near where Madeleine went missing shows what’s wrong with the media today.

Krügel returned empty-handed. And still he claims his machine can find any missing person. Now he has thrown down the gauntlet after five “scientists” – no physicist or engineer or technologist among them – of the Free State have purportedly tested his machine. And found it to be “revolutionary”. According to them the machine was effective between distances of one to five meters to find cancer in a person. (What has happened to the missing persons machine, one wonders?)

Krügel challenges me – he calls me a “grootbek” – and Sceptic South Africa (www.skeptic.co.za or www.scepticsa.com) to put up R500 000 of my own money and he would do the same. His machine would then be tested on its efficacy in finding cancer in a person. If I lose, my R500 000 would go to cancer research (my friend dr. Carl Albrecht could do with he money at the South African Cancer Research Unit). If Krügel loses, his R500 000 would go there.

The fact is I do not have that kind of money, neither has Sceptic South Africa. And I am sure nor has Krügel.

I refused his offer and asked him to accept the challenge of the James Randi Education Foundation to test any claim in a scientific environment according to the principles of the scientific method. Randi has put up $1 million, supported by other amounts donated by the Australian Skeptics and the Indian Skeptics, to test pseudoscientific claims.

Krügel refused my counter-challenge, even after I told him Randi had given me the assurance in the past that he would test Krügel’s claims in South Africa.

The claims Krügel makes, can easily be tested. That his new invention can probably find cancer is still to be seen. The fact is, there are numerous medical machines that already can detect cancer. Or how would doctors be able to determine whether one has cancer without cutting you open? So what is new?

Krügel has still not allowed any scientist near his missing person’s detector. Why is he not prepared to do that? What is he afraid of? To be exposed as a fraud?

That Krügel still has the gall to make these claims, tells a lot about the ignorance of the media when it comes to science reporting and the daily outrageous claims made by pseudoscientists. At least The Guardian has a regular column trying to expose these charlatans such as Krügel and Theunissen. Written by the scientist Ben Goldacre, the column “Bad Science” should be published in all other newspapers.

In the meantime I wonder how these Free State academics could have put their reputation on the line to be so easily fooled by Krügel.

Rumour has it Mazarakis and Carte Blanche have put up the money for Krügel’s visit to Portugal. Is Mazarakis so desperate to prove me wrong because of the valid scientific criticism I brought against him and Landman practicing such bad journalism after the Van Rooyen programme?

The fact is the Van Rooyen children’s bones may one day be discovered at the site where Theunissen and Krügel said they were near the Capital Park railway shunting-yard in Pretoria. But that would not vindicate Mazarakis and Landman for practising abominably bad pseudoscientific journalism.

My challenge to Krügel is to take up Randi’s test. And Carte Blanche can make a programme of it. Would that not be vindication par excellence if they are proven right?

Jessie tells Keesha that he and Jerry had a conversation and that Jessie dates a lot of Black women. Jessie then offers with conviction that Libra's attitude does not surprise both Jerry and Jessie. Really!  As if the 22 year old that is still wet behind his ears knows about life and people. That comment sounds like it is a prejudice comment and it is a bias against Black Women nor is it any better then Big Brother 8's Amber's comment on Jewish people.

A preconceived preference or idea. The act or state of holding unreasonable preconceived judgments or convictions. Irrational suspicion or hatred of a particular group, race, or religion. Detriment or injury caused to a person by the preconceived, unfavourable conviction of another or others.

I fully believe that Jerry's whole problem with Libra is that he is prejudice! I think that Jessie is ignorant and stupid being 22 years of age. Let's talk about Jerry's attitude,  and how a 75-year old man that is supposed to be wise for his age and his attack on Libra. How he verbally attacked Libra right out of her sleep. Let us talk about Jessie's attitude when Renny did apologize to him, and not accepting it.

Sounds to me like Jessie and Jerry are lumping, labelling, stigmatizing Black Women.  What I want to know is what does Jessie mean by it does not surprise him? Jessie and Jerry's comment and attitude is no better then Big Brother 8's HG Amber Tomcavage comment on Jewish people. Must we go through this every year! Amber's comment on Jewish people, then Adam's comment on children with disability and now Jessie and Jerry's comment and attitude on Black Women!

So far, Libra has been a target simply because she is strong, smart and a good player. It is not because she annoyed Steven or Memphis, or Jessie, Jerry or Brian. These men are doing virtually nothing in the house, but floating. They are trying to take out all the strong players that may beat them in important competitions. Renny is also another useless body in the house, she is just there, lied about what Libra actually said. Just like Jessie lied about Renny not apologizing to him when she apologized three times to him. What bothers them most about Libra is she has them pegged for their games and alliances.

After Steve gave the houseguests an endearing sugary finger and told the HG's to suck it bitches, he was evicted 9-0. What a bright move that Steve made just before the HG's were to vote. Some will argue that this is his personality, character and he was just trying to be funny. I personally do not think that this guy made the brightest move in house. He gave away his alliance too early in the game, when the numbers were not strong. He alienated himself from redemption when he pretended to be asleep and did not go to Jessie's HOH room to see his perfect pictures. It is not so much that he should have had to go to Jessie's room; once Brian was evicted, he should have tried to redeem himself to other HG's. Dan played it right he stayed silent and offered his loyalty.  A solid loyalty that he proved when he was the only one that did not vote Brian out of the house.

That is a better concept to the game then what Steven played. When Steven said "suck it bitches", Julie Chan was obviously taken by surprise and said "Woo, see how far that gets you Steven". I had to giggle at Julie’s response, because she is usually very passive and not much surprises the CBS host, however you could tell she was shocked and not impressed with what Steven said.

Keesha is not happy about winning HOH

The HOH competition came down between Libra and Keesha, with Libra getting the last question wrong, making Keesha the third HOH and first female of Big Brother 10. Keesha was/is not happy about winning the HOH. The normal sucking up going on was immediate from the HG's, with Jerry really doing most of the sucking up.

When is this man going to wise up, he is still talking about Libra and a comment she DID NOT MAKE. If Jerry keeps this up, he may see is exit faster then he wants. Renny LIED! What Libra did say is that there were many variables to the competition that they lost and that they all lost together. She NEVER said anything about old people being slower. It was in fact April that made that comment. Furthermore, Libra has been one of the persons very respectful to Jerry. I am starting not to like Jerry as much as I did. The Big Brother Mods Corner:

The Big Brother Mods did a house cleaning yesterday. At best yesterday was a day of reckoning for all those adults who attacked, flamed and bashed CBS posters. The mods were absolutely not fooling around. They put their foot down or CBS put their foot down. Will the CBS BB Mods keep this up? I most certainly hope they do. I will be keeping my watchful eye on how the mods progress with following CBS policy for the rest of the seasson.

Having said that, the fans are still at a standstill with the CBS new format for their forums. Come on CBS your fans have spoken, dump this format and give them a format that all your members that love your shows can enjoy! You can do it CBS, you have the money, you have the backing, and it is time to take action and give your fans the forum they conveyed to you that they want!

“Madeleine McCann morreu no apartamento 5ª do Ocean Club, na Vila da Luz, a 3 de Maio de 2007”, escreve Gonçalo Amaral, segundo os resultados obtidos pela equipa de investigação do caso até Outubro de 2007.

“Ocorreu uma simulação de rapto” e os pais, Kate e Gerry, “são suspeitos de envolvimento na ocultação do cadáver da sua filha”, acrescenta o ex-inspector da PJ. O autor salienta que “a morte poderá ter sobrevindo em resultado de um trágico acidente” e que foram detectados “indícios de negligência na guarda e segurança dos filhos”. Um facto é que “há um cadáver não localizado, constatação validada pelos cães ingleses (…) e corroborado pelos resultados laboratoriais preliminares”. Nas suas conclusões, Gonçalo Amaral salienta ainda que “a tese de rapto é defendida desde a primeira hora pelos pais de Maddie” e que no seio do grupo de amigos que passava férias no Ocean Club apenas Kate e Gerry disseram que a janela do quarto da menina estava aberta.

“O conjunto de depoimentos e testemunhos evidenciam um elevado número de imprecisões, incongruências e contradições (..), em particular, o depoimento-chave para a tese do rapto, o de Jane Tanner (…) tornando-se ambíguo e desqualificando-se”. Foi esta cidadã inglesa que disse ter visto um homem com uma menina ao colo na noite de 3 de Maio de 2007.

"Contribuir para a descoberta da verdade material"

“Este livro surge da necessidade que senti de repor o meu bom nome que foi enxovalhado na praça pública sem que a instituição a que pertencia há 26 anos, a Polícia Judiciária, tenha permitido que me defendesse ou que o fizesse institucionalmente. (…) Mais tarde fui afastado da investigação”, começa por explicar Gonçalo Amaral. “Este livro tem ainda um propósito maior. O de contribuir para a descoberta da verdade material e a realização da justiça”, refere, salientando que o conteúdo “em nenhuma circunstância põe em causa o trabalho” dos colegas da PJ “nem compromete a investigação em curso”.

Na nota inicial, Gonçalo Amaral indica que “o leitor encontrará dados que desconhece, interpretações dos factos e, naturalmente, interrogações pertinentes”, frisando que uma investigação criminal “não se deve preocupar com o politicamente correcto”.

“Casal tratado com pinças”

A capa do livro, publicado pela editora Guerra e Paz, assemelha-se a uma capa processual, com a inscrição “Confidencial” a vermelho e a simulação de uma foto tipo-passe de Maddie presa com um clip.

As primeiras linhas não se situam a 3 de Maio de 2007, quando teve início o “caso Maddie”, mas em Fevereiro de 2008, data da publicação de uma entrevista na qual o então director nacional da PJ considera que houve precipitação na constituição do casal inglês como arguido. O autor confessa que teve o “pressentimento” de que a declaração pretendia “preparar a opinião pública para o inevitável, ou seja, o fim da investigação e o arquivamento do inquérito”.

Gonçalo Amaral diz que houve “campanhas de desinformação que visaram descredibilizar a investigação criminal”. “Para mim a investigação estava morta desde 2 de Outubro de 2007”, quando foi afastado da PJ e se fizeram “diligências para cumprir calendário, um pouco para inglês ver.”

O autor questiona a relação entre o casal McCann e a polícia inglesa, após a constituição como arguidos. “Causou-nos sempre estranheza a forma como o casal era tratado (…) e a informação policial a que eventualmente acederam”. “O erro foi termos tratado o casal ‘com pinças’”, lê-se, pelo facto de Kate e Gerry só terem sido constituídos arguidos quatro meses após o início da investigação.

Logo na manhã de 4 de Maio, antes de receberem informação pedida à polícia inglesa sobre os McCann, os investigadores receberam a visita do embaixador inglês. “Não é normal esta preocupação da diplomacia inglesa. Quem é este casal? Quem são os amigos?”, questiona o autor. Também “não é normal que comuns cidadãos a quem uma filha acabou de desaparecer nomeiem assessores de imprensa”, perante o mediatismo que o caso começava a ganhar.

Estranha descontracção de Gerry

Ao longo das 214 páginas, Gonçalo Amaral lembra questões que ficaram sem resposta - os berços dos gémeos estavam sem lençóis na noite do desaparecimento de Maddie, foram apagados registos de chamadas de telemóvel entre Kate e Gerry, os registos médicos de Maddie pedidos a Inglaterra que não foram atendidos, etc. - e algumas diligências que não avançaram para que o casal não fosse exposto perante o julgamento da opinião pública - como a reconstituição dos factos da noite de 3 de Maio e o pedido de escutas telefónicas.

Em Maio, "sentimos que Kate estaria na disposição de, sem se comprometer, indicar o local onde o corpo da sua filha estava" e, "segundo a própria viria a afirmar, tais dados tinham-lhe sido fornecidos por pessoas com poderes psíquicos ou para normais". Referiu então um colector de esgotos que desemboca na praia da Luz e os penhascos a nascente daquela praia. Cães ingleses detectaram, em Julho, odor a cadáver e vestígios de sangue no apartamento e no veículo alugado pelo casal.

Mencionando os diversos avistamentos da menina em inglesa que foram chegando de diferentes países e se revelaram infundados, Gonçalo Amaral conta um episódio, datado de Junho de 2007. Um homem na Holanda exigiu um resgate de dois milhões de euros, com um adiantamento de 500 mil euros. Os contactos entre Gerry e o homem decorreram através de email numa sala da PJ de Portimão. Quando se aguardava a indicação das condições e local da entrega do dinheiro "a tensão na sala era grande". "Ao contrário, a postura descontraída" de Gerry "constratava com a ansiedade dos polícias e deixava intrigados todos os investigadores". O pai de Maddie "chupava descontraidamente um chupa-chupa enquanto lia banalidades em sites da Internet e discutia rugby e futebol com um dos polícias ingleses", revela o autor. Mais tarde o indivíduo foi detido e a pista revelou-se falsa. Noutra passagem do livro, Gonçalo Amaral refere um testemunho que remonta a um episódio de Setembro de 2005 em Maiorca, quando os McCann passavam férias com três casais amigos. A esposa de um antigo colega de faculdade de Gerry assistiu a uma cena que a deixou estupefacta.

“Estava sentada entre Gerry McCann e David Payne, quando ouviu este último perguntar se ela, talvez referindo-se a Madeleine, faria ‘isto’, começando em acto seguinte a chupar um dos seus dedos, o qual entrava e saía da boca, insinuando um objecto fálico, ao mesmo tempo que, com os dedos da outra mão, fazia círculos à volta do mamilo, de uma forma provocadora e sexual”. As dúvidas relativamente ao relacionamento de David Payne com crianças foram transmitidas à polícia inglesa a 16 de Maio de 2007. “Era uma informação importante e pertinente para a investigação. It was beleived by many that Trenton's mother Melinda, may have played a role in his disappearance but she took her own life, so it may never be known for sure. In the case of Caylee Anthony, according to the grandmother in an interview on NBC's "Today", show, the mother may know who has her.

Casey's mother Cindy Anthony said Monday on NBC's "Today" that Casey should be released from jail so she can help with the investigation.

"I know Casey knows who has her," Cindy Anthony told NBC. "I know Casey doesn't know where they're at right at the moment. But I don't know anything else right now because I can't speak to my daughter. And we're trying to get that changed very quickly."

At a news conference on Monday, Casey's defense attorney, Jose Baez, said his client was willing to cooperate with law enforcement but asked that any information should be used to help find Caylee and not prosecute his client.

"There is a reason for Casey lying to investigators, but cannot be disclosed at this time." Baez told the Associated Press

They are no longer suspects and the investigation has been shelved, but does anyone else still have that lingering feeling that there was something about the disappearance of Madeleine that just doesn't feel right?

The Portuguese attorney-general has also lifted the official suspect status, known as "arguido", that had been put on the girl's parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, and another British man, Robert Murat.  Mr Murat won considerable damages from several British newspapers for libel last week.

The British toddler went missing from her parents' apartment while on holiday in Praia da Luz, southern Portugal on May 3rd 2007.

Although the case has been closed in Portugal, Kate and Gerry McCann are unwilling to give up the search for their daughter.  The couple have said they want access to the Portuguese police files to pass on to their own investigators and may bring legal action against the Portuguese police for their handling of the case.

El defensor legal de Robert Murat, Louis Charalambous, dijo que varios periódicos acordaron pagar a Murat y disculparse. El acuerdo se formalizó en el Tribunal Supremo de Londres hoy.

Murat acusó de difamación a los diarios Sun, Daily Mirror y Daily Mail, entre otros, por las escandalosas noticias que publicaron, a veces con fuentes anónimas, que él estaba involucrado en la desaparición de la pequeña.

Murat, de 34 años, es un británico que vive cerca del complejo turístico portugués donde Madeleine, de 3 años, desapareció en mayo del 2007. El año pasado la policía portuguesa dijo que Murat, y los padres de Madeleine, Kate y Gerry McCann, eran sospechosos formales.

No hay rastro de la pequeña, a pesar de una campaña masiva organizada por los McCann para encontrar a su hija. Nadie ha sido acusado tampoco de estar involucrado en el supuesto secuestro.

Avisene har jo ødelagt en mann og hans families liv, jeg kan ikke begynne å forestille meg hvordan dette har vært for Murat og hans familie, det å bli utehengt på den måten. Avisene burde virkelig skjerpe seg, og sjekke sine kilder før de skriver om noe slikt.

Canadian Idol host Ben Mulroney (son of former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney) does not fool around with the results of who is staying and who is going. He is not dramatic about it at all, unlike American Idol host Ryan Seacrest. Ben just dives right into the results and lets the idolteers and viewers know in a timely manner how Canada voted. The idolteers learn whether they are safe or in the bottom three.  Basically it is over in a speedy time instead of the dramtic hour that the American Idol results show puts on. Nine idolteers learned that they had a stay of grace and one idolteer received the bad news. This week Adam Castelli Motorcycle Peformance was the one that met his demise. It was not a shocker, any of nine could have been the one to learn that they did not get enough votes to stay on.

Ben wished the competitors good luck, told them it was a pleasure to be with all of them and that it was a great performance show. I think we need to add in a clean the ears kit for Ben Mulroney. It really was not a great show on Monday. Really it wasn't!

I really do not think it is fair to ask the judges who they think will survive when three competitors are standing there waiting to hear if they stayed alive in the compeition. Nor is it right to ask whom the judges favour at any time.

Adam took the news rather well; he thanked everyone for their support and  said it was a great ride . In a video interview, he reflected that now that he had been on this  Idol journey, he learned that Canadian Idol is not for the faint of heart. It is tough competition and there are moments when competitors really want to pack it all in, but you gotta just keep on going.

Next week's theme is " Rock and Roll Heaven", Ben said that the theme will be classic rock songs from artists that are dead. Giggling he advised he could not sugar coat that one. The top nine will come to our screens on Monday at a new time. 9 PM ET/PT/8 PM CST.

Last night's Big Brother show was one of the best if not the best POV show I have seen in a long time. Well ever since Dustin was blindsided on BB8 and was put on the block and then evicted. Jesse not Jerry won the POV. The house becomes aware Brian's attempt to control of the house,  and that he also tried to clone Dr. Will's gameplay.  Brian the Player does indeed get played by most of the Houseguests.

One alliance is one thing but trying to play the whole house is another thing. Brian's most fatal mistake was not knowing that women eventually will get around to talking. Ollie told April, Libra and Keesha that they were safe from going up. Brian walked in and Ollie told him to let them in on the plot. Brian swaggered over thinking he had it going on and told the girls that they were putting up Memphis. His reason was that Memphis proved to be to competative in the POV competition.  Brian also foolishly was bragging to anyone that would listen that he had Jerry under his control. Not a bright move, even it it were true for a period, he may have wanted to keep that to himself so early in the game.

When Brian advised the girls about his plot, Libra and Keesha had a look on their faces that women will have when someone is saying or doing something that they are not agreeable to going along with. Dumb Brian did not read those faces. After Brian swaggered out with his puffed up unwarranted ego, Libra honed into the two other girls right away. Libra said, did you see him, the other two girls did agree that he was trying to control them and their votes. In the meantime, Brian thought he had Jerry under his thumb and Jerry would do what Brian told/manipulated Jerry to do.

Just as I thought not one of this seasons HG's were not going to try to play the game like past BB HG's, Brian thinks he is Dr. Will Incarnate. The ladies were not going to have any of that nonsense. Libra told April that Ollie was in an alliance with Dan and Brian. At first, April had a difficult time believing that Ollie was involved in an alliance and had not said anything to her. Libra took it one-step further and asked Ollie directly in front of April, if he were in an alliance with Brian and Dan. Ollie admitted to being in an alliance with Dan but not Brian. Ollie saw his alliance crumbling so he helped the girls put forth the plot of flipping the house and to have Jerry nominate Brian for eviction.

The three split up and talked to all of the other HG's except for Dan and Brian. They all agreed to talk to Jerry about Brian to try  to get him to change his nominations and put Brian on the block. At first, Jerry was steadfast with his loyalty to Brian a fellow Marine, and told the HG's that he did not know if he could trust anyone.

At the POV meeting, Jerry was clearly upset that he had to go back on his word, to the point he would not wear anything with the military on that day,  because he is a man of honor and did not want to do anything to embarrass his fellow military patriots. I found that quite refreshing of how Jerry was that loyal. He is so honourable that he felt shamed for what he had to do, and did not want to embarrass the military. Unlike Dan who feels that he can be as cutthroat as possible and take it up with God later.

The look on Dan and Brian's faces was priceless and one I will remember for a long time.  They both sat up their on their high horses thinking not only was Jerry going to be led around by the nose, but he was going to do exactly what Brian had told him to do and put up Memphis. When Jerry started giving his speech, the faces on Brian and Dan started to slowly show realization that something was wrong and amiss. It was almost like watching a sinking ship in slow motion. Brian the Dr. Will clone was played by most of the houseguests and Jerry did in fact put him up on the block. I did like Jerry's strategy. He made sure that he let Brian and Dan know that eight people came to him and wanted him up on the block because of all of the alliances. I thought that was smart of Jerry not to take the full responsibility and blame for changing nominations. The look on some of the HG's faces such as April was also priceless when Jerry advised Brian and Dan of this at the POV meeting.

The show ends and Angie starts crying and hugging Brian. Which I think is a lark, since Angie was very vocal in Jerry's hoh room, telling Jerry he had to put Brian up. The player was indeed played and it was hysterical to watch. If last night is, an indication of what type of a show we are going to be viewing this is going to be a great season. Again, I will still reserve judgement, but so far so good CBS and Big Brother. The HG's simply have to play the game, as they would do as if this were the first season. There is only one Dr. Will, Dick Donato, Janelle, Keyser, Howie, and ect.... If they play the game without the preconceived notion that they must mimic and clone past HG's it should be a very good show.

The Big Brother Forum  Mods corner:

The Big Brother Mods are starting to pick up the pace and showing some signs of doing their jobs. They are not quite on par just yet, but they are slowly performing their duties with the goal of equality for all BB forum members. They need more coaxing to perform their full duties. For the last two days the CBS, Big Brother and the mods are attempting to reconcile fan anger. Keep up the good work mods. All fans understand the need for moderation; your fans just want you to moderate with equal status for all.

Out of fairness the CBS, Big Brother also put out a post on the BB10 forum advising the fans of their awareness of the fans great dislike or hatred for the new forum. I am posting it here, because I wrote about the fan discontent and to be just to CBS and Big Brother 10 show.  It is only fair and as I promised to also publicly put out their response to their fans discontent! It is nice to see immediate and direct reconciliation of fan anger and response to fans discontent. Again, while CBS and Big Brother mods still have a ways to go, they are at the very least making attempts to meet with the discontent of their fans. Once more, keep up the good work CBS and Big Brother mods!

Robert Murat - the first person to be named as an official suspect - or arguido - in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has agreed an out of court settlement with a number of UK newspapers

Robert Murat has settled a claim for damages with a number of British newspapers over allegations of his involvement in the Madeleine McCann inquiry.

Mr Murat will be in the High Court in London on Thursday to receive apologies from the newspapers.

Sky's crime correspondent Martin Brunt said Mr Murat has settled with the lawyers of eight newspapers.

It is believed however that he was looking to sue 10 publications.

Brunt added that Mr Murat was expecting to get a number of apologies read out in court.

"I'm told there was speculation about a figure of £2m he was claiming," Brunt said.

He was hauled in by Portuguese policemen, spoken to and questioned for about 17 hours before being released.

He vehemently denied any involvement and was quite taken aback by the newspaper speculation coverage of his alleged involvement.

Apart from allegations of him being involved, there were lurid allegations written about him and his private life.

Madeleine disappeared on May 3, 2007, days before her fourth birthday.

She had been left sleeping in a holiday apartment as her parents Kate and Gerry dined with friends in a nearby tapas bar in the resort of Praia da Luz in southern Portugal.
