57-ball brisk knock, which contained 14 boundaries and one six and helped him earn a recall to the Indian ODI team, India Blue beat India Green by 91 runs.

The final will be played at the Sardar Patel (Gujarat) Stadium in Motera, near here.

India Blue won the toss and scored 330 for eight wickets in 50 overs and then their bowlers bowled out India Green for 239 in 38.2 overs to win with 11.4 overs to spare.

Besides Sehwag, Arjun Yadav (65, 75 balls, 6x4s, 2x6s), wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik (65, 48 balls, 7x4s, 1x6) and Suresh Raina (64, 51 balls, 4x4s, 2x6s) also hit half-centuries for the winners.

Karthik's knock, however, failed to keep him in the ODI team announced during the day for the first two matches against Pakistan starting Nov 5.

The selectors, who met here, also ignored Raina's claim for a comeback. He had also scored a fine 92 against India Red on Thursday.

Also starring for India Blue Saturday were off-spinner Ramesh Powar and leg-spinner Amit Mishra who took three wickets apiece while Joginder Sharma took two.

For India Green, Parthiv Patel, who has been in fine form lately, scored 53 (50 balls, 8x4s) and Rohit Sharma made a 47-ball 48 (6x4s, 1x6).

Profile
The Brabourne Stadium was built on a piece of land reclaimed from the sea which Lord Brabourne, Governor of Bombay, presented to the Cricket Club of India after being tempted with an offer of immortality in the bargain.

It was officially opened on December 7 1937 following with a match between the CCI and Lord Tennyson's team. The idea that the ground would be the Lord's of India (the Cricket Club of India was regarded as the county's MCC) was the brainchild of a Goan, Neville de Mello. It was as exclusive as its English counterpart and every bit as luxurious - Frank Worrell once remarked that it was the only place in the world where he could watch cricket in his dressing-gown and remove it when it was his turn to bat. It was also a multi-sport complex which hosted international tennis..

But the ground had its problems, mostly notably with the crowds who were often crammed in beyond capacity, and that, allied to constant disputes over ticketing arrangements, led to the Bombay Cricket Association building its own stadium half a mile away.

The Brabourne these days has an air of faded splendor, and although it has hosted the occasional first-class match (Sachin Tendulkar made the first double century of his first-class career during Mumbai's win over Australia in 1997-98).

The Brabourne Stadium has a rich and fascinating history. After it was built,the Pentangular shifted here from the Bombay Gymkhana in 1937-38 and it was here that Vijay Merchant - Vijay Hazare rivalry was played out with no quarter asked and none given. In the 1943-44 final between Rest and Hindus, Hazare parried Merchant's record 250 with an astonishing 309 out of 387, despite which Rest lost by an innings.

Hazare also hit centuries in all his four Tests at Brabourne. Merchant never played a Test here but made over 35% of his career first-class runs on this wicket, including an unbeaten 359 v Maharashtra. 1. सर्च : इसमें सामान्य गुगल सर्च के आलावा इमेज, न्यूज, स्टॉक और मौसम की खोज तो है ही, चिट्ठाखोज में आप सभी एग्रीगेटरों से भी  सीधे सर्च कर सकते हैं। यानि जो कुछ भी आप चिट्ठाखोज पर सर्च करते हैं वह केवल नारद, हिंदीब्लॉग्स, चिट्ठाजगत और ब्लॉगवाणी से सर्च होगा।

2. हिंदी लिखें: इस बटन में कुशिनारा टूल का लिंक दिया गया है। इसे क्लिक करते ही आप जिस भी साइट या चिट्ठे पर हों, आप वहां हिंदी में लिख पायेंगे बिना किसी अन्य सॉफटवेयर की सहायता के। यानि अगर आपने अपने कंप्यूटर पर हिंदी लिखने का  कोई अलग से सॉफटवेयर नहीं स्थापित किया है तो भी आप हिंदी लिख पायेंगे। इस टूल में आप फोनेटिक हिंदी लिख सकते हैं यानि यदि आपको ’भारत’ लिखना है तो आप ’bharat’ ही टाइप करेंगे।

3. परिचर्चा, नारद तथा चिट्ठाचर्चा: एक क्लिक पर आप इन साइट्स पर जा सकते हैं।

 4. पत्रिकायें : इस ड्रॉप डाउन मीनू में नेट पर हिंदी की 25 पत्रिकाओं के लिंक हैं। यानि यदि अप हिंदी पत्रिकायें पढ़ने के शौंकीन हैं तो न तो लिंक के पते याद रखने का झंझट और न ही बुकमार्क करने की जरूरत।

5. काम के लिंक : इसमें आपको मिलेंगे बहुत से काम के लिंक। सबसे पहले समाचार में हिंदी की सभी समाचारों कि साइट्स के लिंक हैं। इसके बाद हिंदी के शब्द कोश, फिर हिंदी के सर्च इंजन, इसके बाद हिंदी लिखने के सभी ऑनलाईन और ऑफ्लाइन टूल्स, गुगल और याहू समूह के लिंक और बहुत से अन्य   काम के लिंक हैं।

6. एग्रीगेटर: हिंदी के सभी एग्रीगेटरों के लिंक इस मीनू में हैं। जितने भी और नये एग्रीगेटर आयेंगे उनके लिंक यहां जोड़े जायेंगे।

7. क्रिकेट स्कोर कार्ड : इसमें जुड़ा है लाइव क्रिकेट स्कोर कार्ड। इस स्कोर कार्ड पर अपने आप अपडेट होने वाला स्कोर कार्ड है जो विश्व में कही भी हो रहे क्रिकेट मैच का लाइव स्कोर देता है। इस छोटे से विजेट को आप स्क्रीन पर कहीं भी लेजा सकते हैं।

8. रेडियो : यह यंत्र इस टूलबार की खास विशेषता है। टूलबार में जुड़े़ इस रेडियो  में पचास से अधिक हिंदी संगीत के रेडियो जो कि नेट पर उप्लब्ध हैं, जोड़े गये हैं। इनमे आल इंडिया रेडियो से प्रसारित दैनिक दोपहर समाचार जो कि आधे घंटे का समाचार का कार्यक्रम है वह भी जुड़ा है और इसके साथ साथ आकाशावाणी के हर घंटे प्रसारित होने वाले पांच मिनट के हिंदी समाचार बुलेटिन भी अपने आप हर एक घंटे में अपडेट होते हैं।

आप चाहें तो आप अपने लाईव स्ट्रीम भी इसमें जोड़ सकते हैं।

इस सब के अलावा इस रेडियो प्लेयर की एक खूबी यह भी है कि आप इस पर अपनी हार्ड डिस्क पर सुरक्षित संगीत भी सुन सकते है यानि इंटेरनेट पर सर्फ करते करते संगीत सुनने के लिये आपको अलग से मीडिया प्लेयर या और कोई ऐसा कार्यक्रम चलाने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।

13. चिट्ठों की सूची: हिंदी के कुछ अच्छे चिट्ठों की सुची जहां आप सीधे क्लिक करके इन में से किसी भी चिट्ठे पर पहुंच सकते हैं।
