Reading. I am a bookworm, a nerd, whatever you want to call it. I am so busy these days I would love to take a week off work so I can read to my heart's content. I think that there is so much knowledge to be gained from books, I want a piece of it all so I can be a semi-know-it-all...

Surry Hills. The suburb I live in is fabulous in its own sense. I walk to both of my jobs, I live around the corner from my gym. I can walk home from a night out in Kings Cross and my local Woolworths is open til midnight every night of the week. Central Station is but a ten minute stroll down Foveaux Street, and the beautiful view of the city from the Domain is a mere twenty minute walk away. Bars, restaurants and thriving cafés on every single tree-lined street, terrace houses juxtaposed with giant warehouse apartments... vintage shops with luxurious steals tucked here and there, amazing designer furniture stores, Bourke St Bakery, Wheels & Doll Baby... need I say more? My rent is expensive... but worth it.

My Youth. I used to hate being young and perceived as young. I'm 22 baby, minus wrinkles, a mortgage, divorce and mid-life crisis. Bring the youth on.

Among the many superbly entertaining moments found during this game, the second period contained a “lingerie break”. It turns out that Chicago Blackhawks goalie, Glenn Hall, had snapped his suspenders and they needed repaired. :) How entertaining is that? A “lingerie break”. lol

While this short break in action occurred, Bobby Hull was the recipient of a small rubber ball from the Olympia (Wings) audience. What did he do with it? He hit a clean goal shot. And, both the camera and broadcasters picked it up. Everyone cheered. What fun!

Speaking of Bobby Hull, that reminds me of something that happened about 30 years ago. While watching Hockey Night in Canada, Bobby Hull was being interviewed. I commented to my hockey playing friend what a pretty smile Hull had. I heard, “You like his smile, huh?”

“Yeah...he's got a pretty smile and nice set of teeth,” I replied.

“Huh. How about his hair? You think he has a nice head of hair?”

“Well, now that you mention it, yes. He's got a full head of hair,” was my answer.

“His teeth are false and his hair's fake,” was the reply I received.

“His front teeth are knocked out and he's bald,” he went on to tell me.

“Huh,” I said.

OK, back to the game. It was wonderful seeing Gordie Howe, Alex DelVecchio, Ted Lindsay, Phil Esposito, and Stan Mikita play. Wow.

Ted Lindsay got a roughing penalty and if looks could kill, his opponent would not have finished the game. Seeing the “stink eye” look combined with Lindsay's notorious nose was just priceless. :) Gordie Howe got a roughing penalty and if hockey sticks could shoot bullets, his opponent would also have been a goner. It was funny watching Howe point his stick at his attacker. At one point both hockey legends were sharing the penalty box. What a nice, nostalgic sight. :)

During the first intermission Sid Howe was interviewed. “Are you related to Gordie?” asked the interviewer. “No, I'm not. And Gordie will make a point of letting you know that,” he replied. :)

Anyways, Sid Howe played for the Red Wings from 1934-46. At the time, he scored the most goals in one game (6). He also scored the fastest overtime goal, which occurred at 25 seconds. It happened during the face off. It was wonderful seeing Sid Howe. BTW: He's been on 3 Stanley Cup championships. How cool was that?

The third period had some broadcast difficulties. “The fog comes to you courtesy of our sponsors. Do not adjust your screen,” we were told by the broadcasters. (There was snow on the screen.) I found that delightful.

It was great seeing broadcaster Ward Cornell of Hockey Night in Canada. It was great hearing the game's play-by-play broadcast. It brought back a lot of good memories.

The game had 30-25 shots on goal, with Detroit leading. There were 15,000 hockey loving fans in attendance at the Olympia.

I used to work down the street from the Olympia Stadium. The neighborhood was not a good one (in fact, it was kind of scary), but there was something magical about seeing that wonderful stadium. :)

The NHL Network rocks for bringing this game to us!

Choosing lingerie you will look and feel beautiful in follows many of the same rules as choosing regular clothing. It is important to pick the aspect of your body you love the most and then accentuate it.  If you have a larger bust, a push up style like a shelf design or the push up and together design of the corset are a very nice look.  By the same token if you have a smaller bust, padded or supported styles work well as do designs, such as lace ups, that offer easy adjustments in that area so you can achieve a great fit.  If you have a tiny waist, a tight, fitted design for that area will accentuate your slender body and draw attention to your curves.  If your hips are large, avoid flare out designs.  Many women will choose this design thinking it covers larger hips.  In reality, it draws more attention to that area and takes away from the voluptuous curves you could be emphasizing.  If you have larger hips, consider choosing a tighter design for the hips and a high curve on the leg to make the legs look longer than ever.  Also consider a tighter waist.   If you are less comfortable with your abdomen area, don’t choose designs that draw your eyes there.  Pick something that is plain around the tummy and with more texture or design in another area.  Corsets are great for tummy troubles because they draw this area in and are great for showing off curves.   Another basic rule is pattern considerations.  If you are attempting to slenderize, look for long vertical lines such as zippers or stitching that run vertically down the body. 

Shoes are a very important accessory to accompany lingerie.  Go for daring since you will likely not be walking miles in your bedroom shoes.  Heels are preferred as a titillating choice.  Be sure to pick a design that fits the theme of your sexy wear.  A stiletto will look great with a daring, leather, fetish piece, but probably would not be the best choice for a peasant girl innocent look.  Lace-up ribbons or ties are always a good choice if you are trying to emphasize leg length.  T-straps can be very elegant as can a nice pair of heels with ankle straps.  Remember to pay attention to color too.  Make sure it all comes together.  Take your lingerie with you shoe shopping just as you would a new dress.  After all , you want your beautiful heels to accentuate and not draw your partner’s eyes away from the important parts. 

Skin care is critical because you will be showing lots of it.  If your feet are rough, get a pedicure to remove the dead skin.  Use a good moisturizer everywhere else so you are baby soft.  Avoid heavily perfumed lotions because they often taste terrible and can take away from the scent of you which was likely a big factor as to why your partner noticed you in the first place.  Smell is extremely powerful in the attraction game so don’t underestimate the power of your own natural perfume.  If you can’t stand to go with a totally unscented lotion, try an edible one as an alternative. 

If you want to be adventurous and cause a stir, consider getting a Brazilian wax to remove all the hair in the pubic area.  If you don’t go Brazilian, trim up and remove the hair in the bikini area.  You don’t want wild hairs escaping out the sides.  I’ve rarely heard anyone mention uncontrollable pubic hair as a visual stimulator.  Make sure your legs and armpits are well waxed or shaved as well.  Waxing is great because, if done properly, it leaves you ‘hair free’ for much longer and it is an overall, smoother feel.  Beware however and make sure you go to an experienced professional to do your waxing.  Good results and personal comfort can only be achieved by someone who really knows how to wax in all different areas. 

Finally, lingerie wear is as much about you as it is about pleasing your partner.  Make sure you spend time thinking about your needs and what you feel sexy in.  Your own energy is where sexual pleasure is channeled through.  So, where your partner will love to see you in beautiful lingerie, you will both enjoy the entire experience if all the positive energy variables are in place.

A good friend of mine always keeps a large stable of women in SL. He gives them land and houses and they sometimes rotate who is #1 and sometimes there is a long term #1 like now, but no matter what - when Evita blows into town - all bets are off.

Evita is compulsively clad in a RainBowa, jeans or a skirt and is armed to the teeth. She always makes me laugh because she always makes all levels of Vic's girlfriends jealous/furious/explode. She doesn't give a hoot.

Evita spends all her money on weapons, not clothes.

She once commented to me that I was always dressed like a little princess and maybe I should take her shopping some time, that she wouldn't mind maybe some lingerie. Maybe some new heels. So off we went to all my favorite stores, so long ago I forget when it was or where we went. The only thing that was purchased was this Rain Bowa by Callie Cline - which she bought for me.

Which is what brought this entire get up to mind......I got the hair at a House of Heart Hunt and then realized I had been wanting to wear the Rain Bowa again and the hair and Rain Bowa are just Evita all over. 

So this post is an Homage - to Evita - I hope you come back and cause trouble soon. Because you are absolutely hilarious.
