We all have an inner calling. We all hold a special power and talent. Some of us see and have visions beyond the norm. And we all have some level of dysfunction. We are all heroes, destined to make a difference in our neighborhoods,towns, cities and states. The fate of this world depends on our will to rise above the injustice and rage against evil.

So what happens when this dysfunctional crew gets together? If we were super-heroes, what powers would we possess? What would be our names? _______________________________________

Life in the Keys...

Well if haven't heard already, here it is again. We now have a 2nd site in the Keys. It's been crazy planning, shifting, adjusting, designing, etc... What does this mean for me? Well, I gotta put together a good solid production/music team down there in the keys. The place is literally minutes from the the Atlantic and Gulf. The houses down there are no joke. That is besides the point. I will be looking for some solid Musicians-Production savvy peeps to rock on Sunday's and connect with the Keys community. If you know anyone, please hit me up Asap. Lets "Do Dis". This Saturday we're heading up to Plantation Key (mile marker 90.5) in the Keys to start the renovation. So make sure you join us out there! Life is headed towards the Keys.

A weekend, From the Stage

So the Santoyo's had the usual fall BBQ in South Florida last night. It is way too hot to BBQ in the Summer, so we save our Partying to the Fall and Winter. We connected with some awesome friends, ate tons of food and argued over a game of Apples to Apples. Joe threw down with some shrimp-kabobs, Mari delighted us with some tasty burgers, Ana and Luis' flam'n Chicken Salad. We made our signature ribs and Reina's homemade salsa. The food was endless, the drinks were flowing all night. Good times.

I woke up early this morning at 6am ready for another Sunday of good music, awesome people, and God's word. I will admit I was a bit tired after a night of BBQ fun, but I was ready to rock the stage this morning. The band and crew were all there bright and early ready to take care of business. I am proud of our crew, everyone is stepping up as leaders and making a significant difference at LPC. We kicked off our set with Switchfoot's "Dare you to move". From there we went into the worship set which included friend of God, Salvation is here and Everything. During the first service the band Played "clocks" by Coldplay during our meet and greet time. It was pretty cool. Ritz did a great job getting the production crew together. He is the new Program Director in training...But look out he eats all the pizza.

I'm heading to Miami lakes this evening to help out my buddy launch his gatherings. After that I plan to go home and SLEEP!!! It has been a full weekend. This weekend Reina and I recorded some awesome video-footage for our weekend with the Santoyo's, and somehow all of our footage vanished...We are sorry about that. I guess that is that. So Reina and I went out to Atlanta this weekend. My buddy Brent got married yesterday to Lyndsey. They're the coolest couple ever. It was a very nice wedding. The families were awesome and we ate tons of food. I was one of the groomsmen and I also had to sing during the unity candle section of the wedding. I was so nervous, I didn't wanna be the guy that screwed up the song at the wedding. To be remembered by everyone for the rest of my life would really suck. The great thing is, it was a great performance. Me and this guy rocked that stage, and in tuxedos. Stephen was an awesome musician, and we are in negotiations on having him Join the Saturn project. The guys is an amazing musician and one of the coolest dudes I have ever met...seriously good times.

Believe it or not, Reina, myself and Alex were the only LATINOS at the wedding. It wasn't odd or awkard, more funny than anything. Not that this point matters, it was just hilarious to me... I got to meet some very cool people out in Atlanta while we were there...The houses are amazing in Atlanta, and mountains were beautiful...Only one problem...there was no gas...Seriously...every gas station was out of gas. Never seen anything like it.

Well, we flew back into town on our $9.00 dollar flights from Spirit Airlines, gotta admit it felt like a $9.00 flight. This morning was rock'n!!! The first service was just booming!!! You guys are hardcore!! Lets do it again next week and invite your friends. All 3 services were awesome, The production crew threw down, and the worship band sounded great. We had a Little technical scare minutes before we started the first service. The laptop would not start. Zech, the big brain scientist came in and did what we had been doing all morning..."The Start button", but somehow it worked for him. The cat was let out the hat this morning. The big news is finally out.

Travis let everyone know what's up, he also rocked his new bottle caps. They're cool bro. Well the news is, We were given a church property out in the keys!! Yep. A FREE property!!! So now its time to spread the word out there as well. And that's just the beginning...more news to come...just not yet. We're gonna head up there tomorrow and scope the joint out. Exciting stuff in the making...We need you guys to step up with us, trust God and join in the movement we got going on For Jesus in South Florida. So I believe this place is in Isla Morada. I notice Trav pronounces it ( EYE-LA MORE -ADA. Is it not (EEZLA-MORADA?). Just curious. Anyhow, we closed the Habakkuk series today. Powerful stuff, " we need to REMEMBER" what God has done. That in itself is enough to move forward in this crazy life, just totally believing God will come through...That's that. We launch off the new series "Art of War, this coming Sunday, come by ready to ROCK!!!! Any music requests? Hit me up!!!!

Baptisms were cool as usual. Alex got baptized today. It was cool to see my bro take the plunge again. To all of our "weekend with the santoyo's viewers. We didn't get to shoot any footage while in Atlanta...sorry.

Gotta admit it was a rough start this morning. We have this saying that if things are gonna break it will be on Sunday. Well, nothing broke but a few technical difficulties dominoed a bit right before we kicked it off at 8:30am. Then as soon as a strummed the first chord my guitar, I had no sound. The pedals were on, I was all connected, and nothing. The crew quickly came together and put a mic on my acoustic. I was sweating bullets but tried my best to keep calm and collective and keep the momentum going, Which is a tough thing to do considering what was going on.

The great thing is we have a top notch crew that patched up the leaks and we moved forward stronger then ever. It's not easy leading 3 services but it's an awesome rush! And soon enough we'll be at four and possibly a 2nd site. Did I just say that out loud? oops. I gave our announcements live from the announcement booth with our media person today( My adopted Daughter)! It was really cool. Did anyone think it was a video? Thanks Juanita for all your help and input.

We had a great crowd today and it is awesome how people are coming to Know Jesus here in Homestead. Keep inviting your friends!!! Join in the madness.

The things that got us here will not get us to the next level. If we are not moving forward then we are either going backwards or no where at all. As we move forward on this journey we gotta be stretched, challenged and crushed in order to reach the true potential and capacity within us! To those to have stepped up to serve, thanks!! You are a huge part of what goes on On Sunday. Your excellence is very much appreciated!!! Wanna join the crew? hit me up, I will tell you how. Still looking for a Program Director!

Well last night I could not sleep, first because Diego was fighting his sleep and two, thinking about 3 services. I kept thinking I was gonna miss it and not get up. LOL. Well, It happened I over slept and missed all 3 services

Just kidding, I was there and it was history in the making. Lives are been changed here in Homestead, the community is coming together, and the World is becoming a better place. Thanks to you guys spreading the word and letting your peeps know about Jesus. Well we launched it all today at 8:30am, I missed all the pastelilios and cafe. Thanks for eating'em all Ritz. Plus you snuk in that last cheeseburger. Dude!!! LOL. Anyhow, all 3 services were pretty full. I didn't really know what to expect, and that's good. Every time I expect something, the unexpected happens anywhere. I don't know how normal this growth is, but it doesn't seem normal to me. It's a total God thing going on. Today we had 526 people attend LPC. Craziness!!! At this rate we may have to kick off an evening service on Sunday's. Who would be down for that?

There were a few technical difficulties but over all the transitions were great. The band rocked, but we need to keep rock'n harder. I am looking for someone interested in being a Program Director on Sunday's. I need someone sharp and fast, outspoken and super loud, tough and a go getter, someone to lead the production team! If that is you, hit me up fast!!! Lets do dis!!!

To those who rocked their chucks this morning, you guys are freakn awesome!!! I really don't know what else to say. Travis brought an awesome message, listen to it HERE. We ask some tough questions, and somethings just don't makes sense but our hope and life is in God's hand, always. Today was history in the making for Jesus here in Fl, and you are part of the movement. Let's keep doing it. So what do you wanna see happening here at LPC? ONE -wasn't enough, TWO-worked for a while, it's time for THREE!!!! 8:30am or 9:45am or 11:00am. We officially go to three services this Sunday. So invite your friends, your family, strangers, and anyone else that will jump on the wagon. We are encouraging regular attender's to shift to the first service. Don't worry you are not alone, I will be there, this guy, this gal ,this guy, this guy, that guy and some...

Take advantage of the cafe con leche and pastelillos at the 8:30am service. Get there early, Ritz usual devours the whole thing, we hope he'll share this Sunday. It's gonna be rock'n. One more thing, if you own a pair of chucks(converse All stars) rock'm on Sunday!!! See ya then.

Weekend Re-Cap.

Well, looks like we will not be seeing Hurricane Ike. Thank God. On Friday we went out to fill our tanks, fill up our propane tank, stock up on canned foods and water. We're happy to see it will miss us though. If another one is on the rise we'll be ready for it. This was a very chill weekend and very relaxing, we spent time opening some more boxes as get the final settling in process out of the way. The Santoyo's will resume next week.

Sunday was Rock'n as usual. The Band did an excellent job! Travis rapped up our 3 week Loaded series about stewardship. Line of the day was, "people have champagne taste buds on a budweiser budget, something like that...hilarious. Something great is happening at Life Pointe and we gotta keep inviting our friends.

This Sunday we launch 3 services, 8:30am-9:45am-and 11:00am as we kick off our new 3 week series on the book of Habakkuk. Check out the trailer here!

Last night the Monsters of the Midway DESTROYED the Colts. This is gonna be a great year for DA BEARS. Have a great week.
