 Robyn Randall (Acting Library Manager) has returned after a term away refreshed and ready to tackle the new semester, meanwhile the Library Review is drawing to a conclusion so we should soon have a more stable library environment.

Over the holidays 20 extra computers were added to the library, so now between the Library and the Learning Centre we have 61 student computers and 5 in-library use laptops available.

The Library has upgraded our audio visual equipment and now has 2 rooms with an LCD TV/DVD combo, while the  third larger room now has an Integrated Interactive Whiteboard which can show large screen images of presentations, the internet as well as play videos and DVD’s. In addition, video conferencing facilities are now operational from Room B1:14. Bookings need to be made through the library.

A new 24inch computer monitor is now available to assist those with visual difficulties.

Some students and staff are taking full advantage of our extended opening hours on Saturday and we anticipate this will increase as the year continues.

There have been a few staffing changes, Cate is still in Abu Dhabi  working hard to set up the TAFE Library there, while Annette has left us  for semi-retirement and will be replaced soon. We have a few new faces as well, Janet and Susan are helping in term 1.  Meanwhile the familar faces of Robyn, Maggie and Heather will be here to help you.

Extended opening hours... The Library will be opening for 5 hours on Saturday during term time starting from February 23rd.  The library hours will be 

8.30am-7.30pm Mon -Thu 

8:30am-4pm Fri   

12noon - 5pm Sat
