In 40 minutes Jyri Engeström builds upon his ideas of social objects and social peripheral vision. He adds the idea of nodal points.

Jyri is co-founder of Jaiku, a microblogging service acquired by Google in 2007. Before he was Senior Product Manager at Nokia. He runs the Aula conference. Jyri holds a Master's Degree in Social Science from the University of Helsinki and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the Lancaster University Management School.

A five minute interview with Hans Rosling, doctor, researcher and swordswollower. Hans Rosling is known for his Gapminder software and inspiring talks at TED and Le Web 3. He is one of the few people that really changed my view of the world, poverty and developing nations with his talk at my first Le Web Conference in 2006 and at the last one. I am honored he took the time to talk to me.

He talks about the change he cannot catch in statistics, his bus ride across the bay bridge. He raises the question if we are able to change the cultural concept of identity to face the challenges of the world.

Claire Boonstra is naast ondernemer ook bestuurslid van Mobile Monday. 31 maart is de volgende Mobile Monday, een gratis netwerk event met gerenommeerde sprekers in de Rode Hoed in Amsterdam. Deze keer gaat het om mobiele betalingen, bankieren en transacties. Schrijf je hier in.

Scope bestond 21 jaar en organiseerde een grootst event met naast Claire Boonstra ook specialisten zoals Cor Molenaar (Hoogleraar eMarketing) en Ruud Verduin (CRM-adviseur, spreker en auteur). Tevens spraken er coryfeeën zoals Erica Terpstra en Gerit Zalm. Er is een blog gestart naar aanleiding van het congres.

Deze registratie is de vierde aflevering van Leren van de Toekomst. Een serie interviews en opnames van en met mensen die bekend zijn om hun visie op datgene wat komen gaat. De serie is geïnspireerd door het boek Theory U. De eerste opnames voor deze serie zijn gemaakt tijdens Le Web 3 in Parijs met onder andere Doc Searls en Robert Scoble.

A fun and short (7 min.) interview with Doc Searls. About what the most talked about changes he sees for the year 2008. His main points are that people and businesses will realize that:
- Advertising will not pay for everything, too much waste
- Doing business is built around the individual
