Boendoe, dis my ma wat my help hier, nie my skoonma nie.  Skoonma sal nie weet wat om te doen hier nie.  En ek sal haar ook nie toelaat om met my boeke te werk nie.  Maar in elk geval, ja sy help my nog.  En ek is baie dankbaar daaroor.  Nou lyk dit darem of dinge gebeur hier.  Ek het darem 'n rustige naweek gehad dankie  ;)

Manlief is van gister af op my ousie se case.  Wat my binneste weer laat kook.  Sy steel glo uit die huis uit.  Nie dat ek dit goedkeer nie.  Sy het 'n rol toiletpapier gevat gister.  Ok, sy kon vra.  Volgens haar het manlief gesê sy moet toiletpapier vat en nie koerantpapier in die toilet afspoel nie.  Nou is sy kwaad, en hy is kwaad, en ek raak woedend.  Ek SAL nie die huis skoonmaak nie!!!  Ek werk verdomp hard genoeg.  En in my huis bly net klomp lui mense.  Manlief het nie 'n probleem nie.  Hy spoel sy koffie beker uit.  Maar sal hy die wasgoed was?  Sal hy stryk?  Sal hy die potte en panne was en wegpak?  Sal hy vloere skrop...o ja, en sal hy die toilet skoonmaak??  Ek het vanoggend vir hom gesê ek loop saam haar.  Ek gaan beslis nie agter almal hier skoonmaak nie.

Julle ken seker facebook?  Soms irreteer mense my grensloos met al hul 'requests'  Elke week moet ek so 80 requests delete.  Enige snert van gismo's tot wie weet wat als nog.  Ek loer vanoggend op my man se facebook.  Hy het so ruk gelede 'n 'friend's request' gekry van 'n ou.  Stuur hom toe mail om te hoor vanwaar ken hy hom.  Die is sy antwoord:

Beste @@@@, ek het jou vonkpos 'n bietjie mis gekyk. Nee, ek weet nie of ons mekaar ken nie. Ek woon die afgelope 25 jaar in Pretoria, het een dogter(ek soek 'n MAN vir haar) en drie seuns. O ja, ek is getroud.

SOEK 'N MAN VIR HAAR??!!  Ek meen...my MAN is mos nie beskikbaar nie!  Nog nie :D  Ek wonder wat sal sy dogter sê as sy moet weet haar pa soek MAN vir haar.  Ek is skoon stom geslaan.  Watter era leef die ou in?  Of ek slaap dalk.....dalk is my man up for sale   eheheheh

Ek het die naweek iets heel anders aangevang.  Ek was op skype cast.  En het mense regoor die wêreld ontmoet.  Nogals baie interresant.  Lekker gesels, en gelag.  En so bietjie meer geleer oor ander cultures van die aardbol.  Die heel eerste ding wat een ou van Amerika my vra - "are you black?"  Dis vir my so snaaks dat as mense van ander lande met iemand van SA gesels, dat hulle altyd dink jy is swart.  Groot verbasing natuurlik toe ek sê ek is "wit" .  Ek wonder regtig wat dink die mense van ons Suid Afrikaners.  Nog 'n vraag wat opgeduik het "do you keep your wild animals in secure areas?"  DUH...nee hoor, hulle loop tussen ons rond.  bwaaahahaha.  Funny....

Ek het so rukkie terug 'n clip via email gekry van 'n Britse nuus stasie.  Ek wou dit hier plaas, maar die formaat is nie reg om dit te plaas nie.  Daarin sê die omroeper dat daar daagliks 50 moorde plaasvind in SA.  Dis meer as die moord syfer in een jaar in Britanje.  En rypsyfers hier is 3 keer soveel.  Ek noem dit toe vir die mense op die cast.  Ek kan maar net sê dat almal erg geskok was.  Wat my laat wonder hoe gaan dit in lande waar daar regte wette is.

Nou ja, ek moet seker my dagtake begin hier.  Nie dat ek veel lus het ie, maar ek het seker nie 'n keuse nie.  Julle moet 'n stunning week hê.

Den hollandske politiker Geert Wilders lagde i dag sin islamkritiske film "Fitna" på internettet til trods for appeller fra Hollands regering om ikke at offentliggøre den og omfat­tende protester i den muslimske verden.

Den kontroversielle kortfilm blev lagt på hjemmesiden for Wilders' indvandrer­kritiske parti PVV.

Wilders mener, at "Fitna" er sidste advarsel til Vesten, og han har før advaret om "en islamiserings-tsunami" i Holland, hvor der bor omkring en million muslimer.

I sidste uge suspenderede Network Solutions, der udbyder hjemmesider, hjemmesiden www.fitnathemovie.com. Det var oprindeligt på denne side, at Wilders skulle have offentliggjort sin film.

Frygt for krise
Hollands regering har tidligere udtrykt frygt for, at en offentliggørelse af "Fitna" kunne udløse en situation på linje med den danske Muhammedkrise.

Den hollandske udenrigsminister, Maxime Verhagen, appellerede i sidste måned til Wilders om ikke at offentliggøre filmen med den begrundelse, at den kunne "bringe hollandske statsborgeres liv i fare" verden over samt skade hollandske erhvervsinteresser i muslimske lande.

Wilders bad dengang den hollandske udenrigsminister om at "rende og hoppe".

I Afghanistan er der i de seneste uger blevet holdt en række demonstrationer mod Holland, Wilders og hans film.

The Arab and Muslim worlds now confront a civilizational challenge unlike any they have faced since the fall of the Ottoman Empire. The terrorists attacks on New York and Washington cost thousands of innocent lives. Millions of other lives will be wasted or lost if Muslims and Arabs respond to September 11th by wallowing even more in their sense of victimhood.
“Anti-Americanism” in the hands of an Osama bin Laden is but the latest and most virulent form of an idea nurtured originally by secular, so-called progressive, nationalist Arab intellectuals under a variety of labels: anti-imperialism, anti-zionism, Arab socialism, pan-Arabism. These took as their point of departure genuine grievances, some more legitimate than others. Among the legitimate grievances, priority must be given to the injustice caused by the dispossession of millions of Palestinians that accompanied the birth of Israel in 1948.
In the hands of Arab nationalists and leftist “anti-imperialists” of my generation, however (of whom I was once one), this sense of grievance failed to get channeled into building civil societies based on any hard-won expansions of civil liberties wrested from tyrannical regimes (such as occurred in Latin America in the 1980s). Our failure to even pursue such goals left a vacuum that was soon filled by a conspiratorial view of history , reinforced by those tyrannies, which ascribed all the world’s ills to either the great Satan, America, or the little Satan, Israel.
The dangerous, unstated corollary of this view was the notion that “we Arabs” had no, or hardly any, power to change the unjust ways in which the world works. Arabs in particular, and Muslims more generally, began to see themselves as the “eternal” victims of the 20th century, consigned to a Sisyphean “struggle” against Satanic injustice. Lost was a sense of ourselves as authentic political agents aiming toward concrete and gradual political gains.
It is important to note that Arabs are not the only people who wrap themselves in victimhood; the modern Israeli sense of identity was, after all, forged on the foundations of the Holocaust just as surely as Palestinian national identity was forged by Israel’s treatment of Palestinians. Such symmetries (there are many) created a powerful complex of victimhood, applicable to one degree or another to all peoples of the Middle East (Palestinians, Israelis, Kurds, Armenians, Turkomans, Shi’is, and Sunnis).
In the Arab world, especially after Israel’s victory in the six day war of 1967, this complex turned into the driving force of politics and culture; it became the foundation upon which such murderous regimes as Saddam Husain’s Iraq and Hafez Assad’s Syria were built. From the hands of secular Arab nationalists, the murderous anti-American brew was passed on to (previously marginal) religious zealots. In 1979 it fused with anti-Shah sentiments to become one of the animating forces of the Iranian revolution. In the wake of that seminal event, it overwhelmed major sections of the Islamic movement from Algeria to Pakistan.
The Arab and Muslim worlds today comprise a basket case of collapsing economies and mass unemployment overseen by ever more repressive regimes. But in many ways the greatest failure in the Islamic world is intellectual, specifically a failure of the intelligentsia – writers, professors, artists, journalists, and so forth – who, with few exceptions, fail to challenge the region’s wildest and most paranoid fantasies. If anything they buttress them by refusing to break out of nationalist paradigms (for instance by not extending the hand of solidarity to counterparts in Israel).
Instead they act as “rejectionist” critics, excoriating their rulers for being insufficiently anti-zionist or anti-imperialist. Lost in all of this is the hard work of creating a modern, rights-based political order, one that could form the basis for general prosperity. Absent that alternative focus, in the thick of endlessly self-pitying victimizing rhetoric, is it any wonder that despairing middle class individuals gravitate toward radical and terrorist activities aimed at smiting the demonized other? Their horrific/suicidal actions call forth ever more summary and violent responses, which in turn reinforce that pervasive sense of victimhood, yielding other delusional martyrs. Here is the abyss facing the world’s Arab and Muslim communities today.
To pull back from the precipice, Muslims and Arabs, not Americans, must be on the frontlines of a new kind of war, one worth waging for our own salvation and our own souls . That, as out-of-fashion Muslim scholars will tell you, is the true meaning of “ jihad ,” a meaning hijacked by terrorists and suicide bombers and those who applaud or excuse them. To exorcise what they have done in our name is the civilizational challenge that Arabs and Muslims, within and without the Arab and Muslim worlds (Osama bin Laden has erased the significance of such distinctions) face at the dawn of the 21st century.

Haha nu e lille jag tillbaka igen efter ett långt veckoslut på lande.

Det var nog rätt roligt om man inte räknar med de femtielva gånger jag måste snyta mig...hih...

Man måste använda utevessan för att pumpen var inte instalerad. Den Wc:n var hemtrevligare när det var bläckmörkt. Vi gick mitt i natten alla tre (före vi skulle gå och sova) Stackars Chobb som var aldeles mörkrädd klängde i mig när Mia satt på Wc:n. Och sen när vi var påväg in i huset så sa Mia att det fanns björnar i skogen o lille Chobb blev livrädd och sprang in i huset. Jag o Mia bara skratta!

Det var roligt men nog e jag glad o vara tillbaka och kunna sitta vid min kära låda(dator) igen.
