Did you realize that you can buy your next riding lawn mower on ebay? The catch? You will probably have to pick it up. What you need to do is search for Lawn Mowers within your area.

Here's a couple that are listed at decent prices, but in awkward locations (at least for me). Maybe one of these fits your need and location.

Mom asked me to come up with 10 reasons to like Linn County… this isn’t going to be easy

Mom asked me to come up with 10 reasons to like Linn County... this isn't going to be easy, but here goes:

I'm near the 'rents

I have a house to live in

It's peaceful for the most part

The night sky is really nice, when you're not being eaten alive by bugs

The air is cleaner than the city, but only when the wind isn't blowing South

I cannot come up with 10 reasons... I let it sit here for an hour, after thinking about it for 24 hours. It's easier to come up with reasons to not like it, but hate it here:

I'm nowhere near anything

Allergies from all the grass, trees, etc... are literally KILLING me!

Allergies from who knows what is literally KILLING my cat!

There are NO hospitals and only one inept doctor within 70 miles

Paola's "hospice" doesn't count, it's a band aid station!

The grocery store here is corrupt

There's nothing to do here but wait to die

Utilities are twice as expensive now as they were when I first moved here

Nothing can be delivered, death won't even come here

The bugs are horrendous! I've never seen so many!

Nowhere to work, can't even work for yourself here

Gas is 30 to 50 cents higher per gallon

The nearest stores are 37 miles

Nearest restaurant is 37 miles

Nearest decent restaurant is 70 miles

Nearest theater is 70 miles

Friends and Family are 70 miles away too...

People here are rude unless you're born and raised here

The tap water here is damn nasty, fucking nasty!

I pay for the slow Internet package what others pay for phone, Internet, cable TV!

Cable? Not anymore, they were smart enough to leave this hell on earth

Meeting someone "special" isn't going to happen here, can't afford to go anywhere else

I can't let my cat out because it's fun here to shoot cats

The cops are more corrupt than the grocery store, yeah Food Unfair!

Local stations, TV and Radio, only work somewhat with a very good amplifier

The power goes out when it rains, the wind blows, or some redneck burns the poles down

BLIND people are allowed to drive and they run you off the road, often!

Deer wait for your car and bash into it, I never saw deer where I used to live!

Did I mention the mosquitoes???

I know nobody here, years ago I met a lot of people from here... I wish I hadn't

I'm tired of this...

It has finally happened.
No longer will I be forced to haul my dirty clothes back to my parents

It has finally happened.

No longer will I be forced to haul my dirty clothes back to my parents' house in Canton to do laundry.

Saturday my father, Steve, went to an auction in McPherson.

He came back with a washer and dryer for my house.

Of course, that has changed slightly.

I am not going to be receiving the machines he most recently purchased.

Instead, he is going to keep them and give me his old washer and dryer.

He said the new ones were nicer, so he thought he should keep them.

That's fine.

I know how to use the old ones.

Besides, I don't care what I get, just as long as I get a washer and dryer.

I would have settled, though.

All I truly needed was a washer.

I have a clothes line behind my garage, and since it is concealed, I could have hung my underwear out on it without being too self-conscious.

It is the way I grew up with having my clothes dried, and I have seen evidence on TV that others do that as well.

The auction didn't just yield a washer and dryer.

My father also got me a grill, which I have been wanting for some time.

I enjoy grilled food almost as much as I enjoy Mexican food.

Now, I an grill to my hearts content without having to borrow his outdoor cooker.

I'm kind of starting to see a pattern with him.

First, he gets me out of the house thanks to college.

Then he helps me move to Moundridge so I don't have to commute from home.

Now he has given me a way to clean my clothes and cook my food without stepping foot on the old homestead.

What does that mean, dad?

I haven’t written in a few days because I figured you wouldn’t wanna read depressing chi

I haven't written in a few days because I figured you wouldn't wanna read depressing chit chat about me feeling sorry for myself because things didn't go the way I wanted them to with the job I didn't get etc. However, I feel a lot better now. Especially because the same media organization want to have another interview with me. This time for the position of broadcast production assistant making childrens programmes. I reckon that will be great fun. With children's TV you can use parts of your imagination to come up with programme and story ideas that you can't with news and current affairs. And I like using my imagination to create things. Not just my dirty one for you who might be sniggering reading that last sentence. I really wouldn't mind being a children's writer and maybe I shall attempt to write children fiction when I'm done with this current novel to see if I could do it. I have started reading some children's fiction again so I can get into the type of language and style you would write in to suit a younger audience. The only thing which is slightly crap about this interview, is that it is to be held on August 18. I can't reschedule my travel plans again, so I do hope and pray that that they will either allow me a phone interview or that they postpone it a week till I get back. I told them I had to be away for medical reasons which is partly true because I am gonna see an eye doctor who comes from Germany and travels around the world, except Britain. The only type of eye doctors which work with something useful in relation to my condition only come from Germany, which is a pity really because if I miss an appointment 1 year, I have to wait another year to see him. Anyway, they'd be pretty mean not to allow me the chance just because I have to see that doctor who happens not to be in Britain. I guess though that to them, I am just an applicant and it doesn't matter to them if I don't attend an interview.

I have applied for heaps of other jobs as well. The more I apply for, the bigger chance I have to get employed. Put my profile and CV up on guardian jobs and I get emails all the time with jobs matching my criterias which is kind of cool.

Apart from looking for jobs, I have spent time with old friends like KS, K, HMF and TK who got my old phone with a text to speech sofware called talks on. He has never had a talking mobile phone even though they got common a few years ago, and I taught him how to write text messages and use the phone in general. He is extatic about the new phone as it has opened up so many new posibilities previously closed to him. He is a profressional musician and he says that this can be a great boost to his business. I love helping people out like that. Wish I could do that more. I could be a software trainer for a while perhaps if my journalism career don't boost the way I need it to do soon. But I don't think no-one's looking to be trained in talks or jaws, the text to speech software, or screenreading software if you like, used on computers.

I have also spent time with TJ although I wish there had been more of that. He has a lot to deal with right now though, so he's quite stressed out at the moment. The sex though, has been mind blowing! I've also read a great novel called Pleasure by Eric Jerome Dickey which I highly recommend!

Going back to Norway tomorrow for 17 days. Apart from seeing the German doctor, I am going out west to stay with Grandma and TN which I am looking forward to. T is also gonna take me out sailing in his boat.

Leaving you with the Keyshia Cole song TJ dedicated to me the first night I was back and I'll write more when I'm back in my homeland again.

Soon I will be leaving. Leaving Taiwan to return to the USA. It has been a good long stay. I have had experiences here that I shan't soon forget. I heard stories, shared jokes, and received teaching and insight that wouldn't have happened elsewhere in the world. My plans right now are as follows: Pack in the free time, eat lunch at this really awesome restaurant, go shopping for some t-shirts, and have dessert at Modern Toilet, another awesome restaurant.

Regarding church life and Christianity, here's my analogy of my stay. This is an allegory of my experience:

No one knows they're in a cold swimming pool when they've been immersed in it for years. At first the temperature was shocking, but after awhile the swimmer becomes accustomed to it and then doesn't really notice. I am that swimmer. This trip, I jumped out of the pool and into a hot tub. There, I enjoyed all of the comfort and awesomeness water can bring. Not only that, but as I sat there I sat with the guys who created and maintained the hot tub, and now I see how to turn the swimming pool into one as well.

Going back to the US, that's my job. I see swimming pools. Primarily, I see my school, and all of the potential lying in the midst of 300 believing teenagers. I see how together, this force can become unstoppably ruthless for the gospel. That if each of these would simply tell everyone they know about the One who saved them, that our city would be transformed.

There is a concept I heard in a sermon (I know it looks like I'm sleeping, but I'm listening, I really am). Everybody knows everybody in the whole world within eight people. That means that I know somebody, who knows somebody, who knows somebody, who knows somebody, who knows somebody, who knows somebody, who knows somebody. We can do this with everybody we know and be connected to all 6.6 billion people on this planet.

Now, consider the cause of the gospel. The cause of getting the testimony of Jesus Christ to the world. We just need to tell everyone we know, and then they can tell everyone they know, who can then tell everyone they know, and so on. Sure, people know they're supposed to witness to their friends, but most people don't. How long does God intend for this to take? If you haven't told your story about how Jesus changed your life to everyone you know, you're part of the problem. I'm sorry to say that I myself am part of that problem.

Now here I go back to Wichita. People expect me to give a nice little report about all the new Christians and the wonderful people I met in Taiwan. I'm sure the majority of the people I'll be addressing will expect to hear of fun times, games, and all about my hospital experience. Perhaps that's what they'll get. For everyone else though, I've got messages.

It's weird. One would think that going on a missions trip to Taiwan I would garner inspiration for changing this Asian nation. Instead, when I get into my quiet times, when I ponder on the things of God I always come back to one question, "What am I gonna say if...?" "What am I gonna say on this Senior trip?" "What am I gonna say for my 'Senior Moment' at school?" "What am I gonna say if I'm asked to speak as a chapel speaker?" "What am I gonna say when people ask me about Jesus?"

Ok. Cool. I guess I'll be home soon. My flight lands at 8:50 PM CST on Tuesday night. Catch ya later.

It's been a while since I made a post. Studying for the CPA and taking it are two difficult things to do. I have to say. I have been listening to Shin Hyesung - Purple Rain (above music video). It has english subs and I feel the love and hurt throughout this song. Maybe listening to sad songs arent the best thing to do.

But I dont know why it led me to think about him. KS. I have not truly thought about him for a long time since the last time I wished him well. I know that I cannot change the past or say anything to change it. What done is been done. I dont ever feel regretful because I know deep down he truly hurt the worst. Maybe I fell for the lies that a sweet guy can give. Perhaps, but I would never think he would be the one to do so.

I am usually one of the most forgetful person, yet I remember his birthday is coming up. All of a sudden, flood of memories about him goes through my mind. He should not be in my thoughts at all. The past is the past. Yet, I still care for him. Love is blind when you like someone who does not reciprocate your feelings. But it's not just that set off our friendship, it was that he never acknowledged the truth. I tend to be people's blame for not continuing the friendship. And I don't fight back in the arguments because I know how futile it would be to prove myself to the world. Why would I have to prove myself right when I know I did no wrong?

I apologize about other things, but not the last thing he done to me. That was all him. Out of all the guys, yet I still remember him the most. Trust. Family. Friends. Money is not everything and it cannot solve everything. His words became courage and hope to me when life was darkest at the moment he came in. I am thankful and grateful for him because I would not be the person I am today without him. Maybe this is preparing me when I do see him again in person.
