SNK Playmore planea celebrar el 15 aniversario de su famoso torneo de lucha en grande. ‘The King of Fighters XII’ supondrá un paso adelante en la saga, con unos sprites redefinidos y en alta resolución, gracias a las bondades de la placa sobre la que corre: Taito Type X2. Se estrenará primero en los Arcades de Japón, siendo la fecha elegida abril del 2009, sin tener fecha de momento para el resto del mundo pese a que ya se han confirmado versiones para PS3 y Xbox 360.

Los personajes confirmados que veremos en el vídeo son: Ash Crimson, Shen Woo, Robert García, Ryo Sakazaki, Atena Asamiya, Terry Bogard, Ralf Jones, Leona Heidern, Kim Kaphwan, Benimaru Nikaido y Kyo Kusanagi. Sin estar en el vídeo, aunque confirmados en otros medios: Elisabeth Blanctorche, Goro Daimon, Iori Yagami y Raiden. Se comenta que la lista de luchadores ascenderá a 20.

Vendo minhas férias acabando me deixa triste...mas estou aproveitando bastante...exatamente por isso não estou postando em sequência como antes...estou aproveitando bem meu novo Xbox 360, pois mês que vem começa minha pós e o tempo vai diminuir.

Antes de mais nada, uma notícia rápida que tinha me esqueci de postar aqui:

O novo Kinf of Fighters XII que eu havia comentado aqui, de acordo com a própria SNK, será lançado (ao menos nos arcades/fliperamas do Japão) em Abril de 2009 durante a Tokyo Amusement Show.

O gráfico, comparado aos jogos anteriores da série, está muito bom com efeitos interessantes de spark (explosões dos golpes, etc). Muito interessante é o fato de durante a batalha, os personagens entrarem debaixo de uma sombra e ela afetar o gráfico...coisa que não tinha antes.

Não há previsão para o lançamento americano ou qualquer outra previsão para plataformas por enquanto.

Agora, falando sobre o novo jogo. A um certo tempo eu vi um jogo novo de luta que estava sendo feito para as plataformas de 3ª geração. A proposta até que era interessante e também, não estão havendo muitos jogos desse tipo hoje em dia. Mas agora temos um novo reforço.
Foi lançado o jogo: Battle Fantasia.

Lançado nos fliperamas Japoneses no começo de 2007, Battle Fantasia suporta até 2 jogadores e foi desenvolvido pela Arc System, produtora da franquia Guilty Gear (excelente jogo de luta aliás).
O jogo é em 3D, diferente de Guilty Gear, mas mesmo assim, não deixa de ser um jogo legal e ter ilustrações em 2D durante as conversações dos personagens.

Em 2008 foram lançadas versões para Playstation 3 e Xbox 360, mas por enquanto são somente versões japonesas. A previsão é que sejam lançadas versões americana e européia entre final desse ano e 2009.

There is another arcade event about to take place next week and this time it's in Japan. Known as the AM Show, also called the JAMMA show, it brings with it a lot of information on games we've been hearing about for a while along with new games. It should be interesting to see what comes along over the next week but at the moment here is what we have for you as a preview of what to expect.

BTW - For interest of space, I'm just using thumbnails on this post. Click on them to expand and images taken from various sources I'll credit at the end.

New games:

Holy frak, Taito is bringing Elevator Action back. Labeled as "Elevator Action: Death Parade" we currently have a picture of the cabinet and nothing else. Of course the cabinet has to have something which looks like an elevator door covering the screen so no clue what the game looks like but it's not longer a joystick game but a light-gun title. The cabinet has a Too Spicy feel to it, I wonder if the game will mimick that or not.  Notice that it also has a surround sound system on it, much like those Konami cabinets are using (ex. Silent Hill, CastleVania). If this plays elevator music at certain points then this is going to be one of the coolest cabinets ever.

Taito also was showing off a new mini-game party title (I'm surprised that there aren't more of these after the Wii came out) called Senor: The Nippon (?) and Hoppingurodo, which apparently has something to do with simulating jumping on pogo sticks.

Konami will not be at the show but they are still exhibiting games on location tests so I am sure that people will be talking about these games and they have what I think is a new fighter but the cabinet pictured shows a control scheme that is unfamiliar so it's hard to say exactly what Brave Heroes is going to be. The game has something to do with the War of the Three Kingdoms - perhaps it's a Dynasty Warriors style fighter (which I have always thought would make a perfect arcade title, which would have been done with the War of the Grail).

Namco has also shown off a new light-gun not based on Time Crisis (it appears) called Razing Storm. From the flyer the graphics look pretty good and it looks like it uses a bit of destructive environment geometry as well. The game is powered by System 357 (which I believe is the PlayStation 3 based hardware) and it uses a 62" screen along with a cabinet design that sort of reminds me of Rambo.  Whether this will make it to the States or not is beyond me, I was pretty disappointed with Namco's lack of games at AMOA but maybe as they see others gearing up they will too.

Now for some more info on games we knew about already - hit the jump or this will take up too much space on the main page :) But we've got a look at Sega's Harley Davidson, KOFXII, a new look at the CastleVania Arcade cabinet, first screens of Hummer Extreme and more.

KOFXII has a new flyer available and it is being demonstrated at the show in probably what is a close to final cabinet. I found one page that has a link to a video of the game in action but I click on the link and it takes me to a page asking for info and it's in Japanese.  Oh well, maybe later. According to that same page the game is 60% complete. We still know that this game looks amazing and with the renewed interest in fighters I would not be surprised to see this game making the rounds internationally. I've considered getting this for my arcade since I have a small but loyal group of KOF players who come in and play a couple of times a week.

Tekken 6 also has a new flyer and I am guessing that this has to do with the new Bloodline Rebellion update. Fingers crossed that this update will help the game stand out from the upcoming console version. I know that T6 still has received an official blessing in the UK or US but my distributor is carrying the game.

Arcana Heart 2 also has some fliers about, it looks like this is the updated version of the game everyone is talking about though as some of the screens look different from the version I played at AMOA. From what they said at the show however, it seems that Andamiro is set on bringing over the previous version but who knows, maybe they'll change their minds at the last minute.

I've been waiting to see something on Sega's new Harley Davidson game and it's finally here in form of the flyer. It's hard to say right now but it looks good from the micro-pictures we're getting from these fliers and it's better than nothing. There will be two cabinet designs, standard and deluxe which are probably prototypes but it doesn't appear to stray too far away from the original Harley game design. Now that I think about it, I should have asked the Sega rep at AMOA if they had heard anything about this one - I knew that I forgot to ask about something (as the old cartoon villian might say, "CURSES!").

Here is a new picture of the CastleVania arcade cabinet. It's not much but it's a little better than the only other pic of it out there. You can see the motion whip controller and the LED candles but the screen is once again covered up by the curtains. Hopefully we'll actually be seeing some screenshots of this one shortly since the hands on report said that it looked really good and I doubt it will take much longer for them to keep what it looks like under wraps.

Touch Striker has a flyer now and it is as I thought, a soccer/football touch screen game. As usual I don't expect to see this in the US (although I recently had some people asking me to get a soccer arcade game) but I'm sure it will be showing up in Europe before too long.

Sega's Hummer Extreme finally has a website up now with nice screen shots of the game in action and a prototype design of the cabinet. At AMOA I was told by the Sega rep that it uses a motion base and you can see that in the designs (it wasn't noticeable with the blurry pics we had before). The game uses Lindbergh hardware but it certainly looks nice and it's one of the few games on this list where we are sure that it's coming to the States as the game was already tested in Chicago and from AMOA it sounded like it was still on track.

Namco's answer to Raw Thrills' Super Bikes, Nirin has a four page flyer out and about now and it's looking good - it definently has that street racing theme to it but I'm not sure what else to say at this point until we get to see it in action.

Little freckled face pinched in anger, the toddler batted at her, grabbing handfuls of the smelly purple blossoms that wafted all around them and flinging them at her.
She giggled, amused at his combattive spirit.
"You think you can fight me? You're only a baaaaaaby," she teased mercilessly.
"I can fight you! I can fight anybody!" He grabbed more lavender, faster, bigger bunches, getting sloppy in his anger.
"You couldn't fight that grasshopper," the little girl stuck her tongue out, amused.
"I can fight a, a, a bunch of grass poppers!" He grabbed the grasshopper in a flick of unexpected speed, and threw it at her.

She screamed.

"MAAAAAAMAAAAAAAAAA," Elisabeth ran down the hill weepingly. "HE THREW A BUG AT MEEEEEEEEEE!"

As the little boy stood in triumph on the top of the hill, watching her flee, his first taste of victory surprised him, more sweet and more fragrant than all the lavender in France.
The summer wind blew up his white-blond hair and shivered the blossoms around his legs.

With a malicious delight, his little eyes smiled.

i've been reading this one book recently. anyone heard of it? oh man. no. i think that's pretty much rhetorical now. the book is called "twilight." anyway, believe it or not, i just found this book in the homestead library. i picked it up because, like i do with most books, i liked the cover art. xP i started reading it and realised that the story sounded familiar. apparently it's the book (and series) my little cousin from the Philippines, camir had recommended to me a LONG time ago. well, i looked it up online and apparently it is some immensely popular book for teens and they are actually making a movie out of it. O_x woah. i'm so far behind on the times and the "what's in"s. i might make a vlog about it later. we'll see. i also found out that some characters (the Denali Vampire Clan) in the later books are from Denali, Alaska. lol. that's where i live right now. oh funny. maybe i'll meet some vampires here. xD hopefully they won't be mean like in "30 Days of Night." ehhh..

more of an embarrassed "blush" if you are reading it wrong the way beni did. jun was the character i made over a year ago to be the opposite of rock. not quite a mary-sue, but an original character that could be a possible "love interest" to an already established character, in this case rock howard from Garou. which, by the way, they aren't together. jun just goes to the same high school rock does and she has a major crush on him. if you know anything about rock howard's character, he is completely uneasy around females. kinda a funny character trait, but that backs up the fact that jun is not meant to be rock's girlfriend. just ignore this sketch i drew last year:

couldn't continue the comic because i can't draw a fight scene without knowing exactly what the opponent looks like.  so i had to branch off.  i think the scenery was inspired by my place of work.  lulz.  minusing the douwe egberts drip coffee dispenser and our espresso machine.  on the back is a totally BSed KoF flyer.

King of Fighters dispensa apresentações, é um dos games de luta tidos como lendários no mundo dos videogames, responsável pela popularização dos mesmos junto com outros grandes títulos - exemplo: Street Fighter - Chega de bla bla bla

As telas abaixo mostram o capricho de um game desenhado a mão. Isso mesmo galera, o game foi 100% desenhado a mão, uma verdadeira obra de arte. Dispensando até o recurso cell shading 3D.

O processo funcionou da seguinte forma:
- Personagens modelados 3D
- Animação convertida para 2D
- Pintura manual das animações, quadro a quadro. PQP!!!

Quem já teve oportunidade de ver uma animação feito naqueles "tablets" pode imaginar o trabalho que dá fazer esse processo, que também foi aplicado aos cenários. Resumindo, obra de arte dos games.

O game sairá no começo de 2009 para o PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360.

after watching that i looked at other bunny videos on that site. SO FREKKIN' KYUUUTE! oh man. i feel like one of those freaky cat lovers who take pictures of her cats every time she finds them sleeping in a small, confined space like a shoe or in between dressers. O_o;;

so my big sister officially moved out of the house today. oh man. i was wondering if she cried. then i thought about it and wondered if my papa did. aww! nii-san is such a daddy's girl. so weird knowing that when i get home nii-san won't be in her room. yeah yeah. her university is barely 30 minutes away, but it's still weird. guess she beat me at this race! i hope she has fun living on her own and i hope she takes full advantage of it. i want to go and visit her in her dorm and watch shows like scrubs while we reminisce about the "good old days" as we eat delicious fruits that we are allergic to but can't stop eating (ie. nii-san+asian pears, me+cherries). yeah... that's a plan. xD

made a new video since today is christmas for all national parks. it's kinda blah but oh well.

Venho trazer algumas boas novas para vocês que já estavam com saudades dos lançamentos da SNK.
Estava vendo um vídeo no You Tube que relata os próximos títulos de jogos de luta que vão sair:

- King Of Fighters XII
- Samurai Spirits Sen (Série Samurai Showdown pra quem não conhece o nome do título em japa)
- King Of Fights 98: Ultimate Match

Primeiro, King Of Fighters XII

A série seguirá a história dos outros jogos. O jogo está previsto para 2009 e ao contrário do que foi dito há muito tempo em meados de 2007, o jogo será inteiramente em 2D. A equipe de desenvolvimento diz estar trabalhando arduamente para fazer com que este seja o melhor jogo de luta 2D de todos os tempos.

Estão sendo implementados coisas novas e o sistema de batalha teve mudanças como o retorno do sistema de 3 x 3 que vem desde a época do KoF 94 (lembrando que no KOF XI, foi usado um sistema chamado multishit). O jogo provavelmente sairá para arcade e também para os consoles de 3ª Geração (Xbox 360, PS3 e talvez Wii né hehehe).

Seguindo de Samurai Spirits Sen:

Não consegui muita informação a respeito, fora o fato do pessoal parecer estar meio indignado pelas mudanças feitas ao jogo. Ao invés de 2D, ele foi transformado em 3D. Alguns personagens continuam mas foram introduzidos vários outros, dos quais, nem todos são de origem do Japão (pelo que é claramente perceptível no trailer). E os golpes parecem ter sofrido mudanças, de acordo com um comentário que li, onde dizem que a SNK aboliu certos golpes especiais, dando preferência a fazer versões mais realísticas.

Também previsto para 2009.

E por último vamos de King Of Fighters 98 - Ultimate Match:

Este será um remake de um dos marcos da série, na opnião de muitos. O jogo trará tudo que a versão 98 tinha, incluindo + personagens (todos os 13 times + 13 personagens de outras séries), como Goenitz, versões "Orochi" de Leona e Iori, versões "Ex" de outros personagens e por aí vaí.

O jogo vai contar com versões 2D ou 3D de vários cénarios, as quais você poderá escolher. Além dos tradicionais modos da barra de super: Extra e Advanced, agora existe um modo chamado Ultimate, no qual é possível misturar características dos outros dois modos de forma customizável para poder enganar seu oponente ou criar um estilo de luta diferente.

No mais o jogo é bem parecido com o 98. Mas logicamente que vale a pena jogar.
Eu havia entendido que ele sairia em 2009 também, mas encontrei uma data de lançamento que marcava dia 25/06/08...não sei ao certo se ele já foi lançado realmente ou se houveram atrasos, mas de qualquer forma a notícia boa é que ele foi lançado para a plataforma do PS2. Então você que ainda não tem cash suficiente para comprar um VG de 3ª Geração, pode ficar alegre pois terá a oportunidade de testar esse jogo com mais facilidade.

Mai, Mai, Mai. Tak drodzy państwo, ta oto pani wprowadziła do bijatyk trzęsący się biust! I to właśnie ta pani była inspiracją dla pewnego ważnego aspektu serii Dead or Alive. Stąd, jakby nie patrzeć należy się szacunek. Mai to spadkobierczyni starożytnej linii ninja, której jednak ciężko pozostać niezauważoną w podobnym „odzieniu”. Prawdziwa bohaterka i promotorka 2D, która podobno nieskutecznie ugania się za pewnym blondasem. Z drugiej strony ten blondas bardzo się martwił, gdy pokazała mu iluzję ich rzekomego dziecka – hmmm....

3. Izuna

Zawod: Ninja (bez pracy), rabus dungeonow

Wymiary: Zmienne

Izuncia to najbardziej zadziorna, zabawna i wybuchowa ninjówka z naszej listy. Różowe włosy, ogromne piersi, pseudo-homoseksualne stosunki działają na graczy jak magnez. A jednak to obie części dungeon crawlera w których występuje są dużo lepsza rozrywką. Mała, urocza i najbardziej mangowa – dla koneserów. Co prawda wygląda jak Sakura z Naruto po operacji plastycznej i wszczepie silikonów, jednak ma od niej nieskończenie wiecej uroku!

4. Ayame

Pierwsza gra: Tenchu

Inne gry: seria Tenchu

Zawod: Ninja?

Wymiary: niewielkie acz urocze

Ayame to najbardziej skryta (dosłownie i w przenośni) bohaterka naszej mini-listy. Jako jedyna z tu przedstawionych zachowuje się należycie do zawodu – zamiast wchodzić z drzwiami – kryje się w cieniu. Postać tragiczna, lecz pełna uroku, z pozoru zwykła dziewczyna o normalnych proporcjach. Piękna, nieśmiała i smutna – Ayame. Oby dzięki Tenchu 4 znów zwrócono uwagę graczy na nią.

5. Kasumi

Pierwsza gra: sami wiecie

Inne gry: tak, seria DoA

Zawod: siatkarka, ninja, siatkarka

Wymiary: 89 (jasne:)), 54, 85cm

Kasumi lubi grac w siatkówke i dużo podskakiwać. Popularność zapewniła sobie już intrem pierwszego Dead or Alive, gdzie stała nago w gęstej mgle. Na tyle gęstej, że niewiele widać, więc nowi w temacie nie muszą już lecieć na youtube. Miła zawodniczka, można kupić poduszeczkę jak i prześcieradełko z nią jakby ktoś potrzebował. Zainspirowana Mai pokazała co można zrobić z piersiami w bijatyce 3D.

6. Yuffie

Pierwsza gra: Final Fantasy VII

Inne gry: nie chcecie wiedziec

Zawod: zlodziej materii, ninja

Wymiary: Kawaii ^^

Yuffie zaliczyła występ w Final Fantasy VII będąc doskonałym przeciwieństwem „nie mogę ich unieść i kocham Clouda skrycie" Tify oraz „jestem wiecznie cnotliwa zakonnica z powołania i kocham Clouda jeszcze skryciej” Aeris. Rozrywkowa, zabawna, energiczna o smukłym, pieknym ciele, jest miłą odskocznią od wszystkich konkurentek Pameli. Jedna z najciekawszych Finalowych dziewczyn, złodziejka materii i lekka dusza, która jednak wie kiedy trzeba działać. I ma fajne, długie sznurowane buty w Advent Children.

7. Ayane

Zawod: ninja, NPC, "gwiazda komiksu"

Wymiary: 93, 54, 84

Ayane to jedna z najpiękniejszych wojowniczek w DoA. Uroku dodaje jest niezwykły kolor włosów, fryzura oraz jakaś tam – w miarę sensowna historia życia. Doskonale radzi sobie zarówno w swej rodzimej serii jak i niejakim „Ogrodzie Nindży”, gdzie w zależności od umiejętności (a raczej wybranego poziomu trudności) zachowuje się różnie w stosunku do gracza. Jeżeli jesteście po złej (tj blacharskiej) stronie mocy możecie kupić Xboxa i sprawdzić co oznacza słowo „różnie” ;) (śmiech szaleńca, który obmyślił właśnie diabelski plan)

Tak 7 damulek, 14 sami wiecie czego, duzo artow. I co, ktora najfaniejsza ;>? Bo nie ukrywajmy - spodziewamy sie ataku ludzi googlujacych hentai, DoA, Kasia Cichopek, Doda i Mandaryna. Ale przede wszystkim chcemy dogodzic czytelnikom PG. Jak sie spodoba, zobaczymy sie w drugim odcinku ;) tymczasem.

Como faz tempo que fiz esse desenho, não lembro quais foram minhas motivações,de onde veio a idéia, nem porque a SNK nunca renova o visual e os golpes desse boneco que existe desde o King of Fighter 85! XD

Só lembro que incialmente era um desenho bem colorido, mas ficou mais bacana em tons te cinza.
