Beautiful country, isn't it? If it wasn't for this guy:

He blames the depts and the sanctions. But as he hasn't let anyone else near the power - let's just say it's pretty clear who is at fault when it comes to thousands of deaths, starvation and a world record of 11,268,758.90% inflation How did anyone accomplish that??

Inflation like that can only be accomplished by a very stupid irresponsible and incompetent government. A normal government starts to see if it needs to change monetary policy when it hits over 10% inflation. Ok, so horrible inflation rates happen. 50%, maybe even 100% or worse. But over 11 million??? How is that even possible?

But apparently it is. And the starvation is of course getting worse because people can't afford to eat any longer. Well, just see what the Zimbabwe central bank has to say about it.

So, anyway. I was thinking. Sure Zimbabwe is a great country. But just read who Mugabe is and what he says. And of course, there's the whole Murambatsvina thing. But let's not jump to conclusions. Just because he has killed thiousands of people, he could still be a good guy, right? Maybe he was framed for it? Maybe it wasn't his fault? Let's see what the Zimbabwe government has to say about this, ok? I mean, sure the above website I linked to says that:

The government's land reform program, characterized by chaos and violence, has badly damaged the commercial farming sector, the traditional source of exports and foreign exchange and the provider of 400,000 jobs, turning Zimbabwe into a net importer of food products. Badly needed support from the IMF has been suspended because of the government's arrears on past loans, which it began repaying in 2005. The official annual inflation rate rose from 32% in 1998, to 133% in 2004, 585% in 2005, and approached 1000% in 2006, although private sector estimates put the figure much higher. Meanwhile, the official exchange rate fell from approximately 1 (revalued) Zimbabwean dollar per US dollar in 2003 to 160 per US dollar in 2006.

But maybe that's just opposition paid lies? Let's check out the government websites.

So first of all, on the government websites we can see that Zimbabwe if of course a paradise that you can safely invest you money in. 11 million inflation, but sure, go ahead and invest. Of course, Mugabe gets outraged when American ambassador McGee dares to play golf with opposition leader Tsvangirai. Mugabe himself is of course not wasting his time playing golf. He deals with the really important issues. Now there is of course this coalition between Mugabe and Tsvangirai that was signed in September and that is being negotiated. A bit hard to negotiate though, when they won't even talk to one another. But that is only and exclusively the opposition's fault, right?

Now, there are two government owned newspapers. The Herald and The Chronicle. The opinion articles there are pretty scary. Actually, almost everything in those papers are scary. However, the articles are available to view when they're on the headlines, and then they apparently dissappeared. I saved the links to a few scary articles I read a few days ago, and now it's unaccessible. So I have copy-pasted some for you. You'll just have to trust me that that's where I found it. You can probably read stuff written in the same way and with the same ideas any day.

Now, the government should be aware of how the rest of the world condemns the Murambatsvina, right? And if it's all a horrible evil framing of the poor kind and peace loving president Mugabe, then he shouldn't have anything to hide, right? So all we need to do to find out the truth is to make a search for the word "Murambatsvina" on those newspapers homepages. Right? So what did I get from the search? Nothing. Nada. Zip. No Murambatsvina here. Nono. The official government owned newspapers of Zimbabwe. Murambatsvina? Nooo... never heard of it. No such thing. Nono. Those photos were... uhm... photoshopped. We didn't make anyone homeless. We never forced people to die of starvation. Our police didn't use brutality to throw people out of their homes and destroy everything they've ever worked for. Nono. That's evil western propaganda.

When you cause this kind of destruction, are you surprised the economy goes down the toilet??

So, anyway. State owned newspapers. There was a very interesting racist comment regarding the golf game mentioned above between McGee and Tsvangirai. This is from today, so if you hurry the article might still be there.
http://www.herald.co.zw/inside.aspx?sectid=161&cat=10

The Mayflower is the vessel that transported a motley crew of English separatists from Southampton, England, to Cape Cod in present-day United States in 1620. The separatists felt constrained by the rigidity of the English Church and were desirous of an environment of free worship. They thus risked life and limb to cross the Atlantic in the quest for religious freedom.

Their journey resonates with American delusions of freedom, which is why the ship they used has a special place in American lore and descendants of the passengers have a venerated place in American society. They are de facto royalty whose loyalty to the Star-Spangled Banner is not in question.

Not so if, like James D. McGee, George Bush’s black face here, your ancestors arrived aboard a slave ship, or you were sired of latter-day immigrant stock. Then you really have to prove that your loyalty is unshakeable. If you are black, you have to go the extra mile of proving that your blackness is skin-deep.

This is exactly what McGee has been doing since landing in Zimbabwe nearly a year ago to take the place of the demoted and disgraced Christopher Dell.

McGee has been walking white, talking white and has even tried to make a gentleman of Morgan Tsvangirai, taking him to the golf course and teaching him the basics of the game."

Responding to a question from one Violet Gonda of the British-funded pirate radio station, Short Wave Radio Africa, on October 3, on the content of his conversations with Tsvangirai, McGee said: ‘‘I don’t talk about matters of state on the golf course; we talk about our poor golf swings.’’

That is the time Tsvangirai should use to knock sense into McGee so he can impress on their mutual bosses in Washington that the sanctions are hurting ordinary people.

Could you believe that?? I didn't even care to quote what they said about Obama, but you get the idea. "Two black people playing a white game like golf? How dare they? They are traitors. They are western white world associates. They are conspiring to destroy our country. The game says it all."

Of course, they are scheduled to meet today. Zanu-PF, Mugabe's party and MDC-T, Tsvangirai's opposition party. Tsvangirai claims they've met a dead end and wants the former South African president, Mbeke, to come and help. Zanu-PF say it's unnecessary, since all the negotiation problems are only and solely MDC-T's fault. Of course. I mean, how can a government who turned a florishing country into a wasteland with starvation and 11 million percent inflation possibly do anything wrong? The article is here http://www.chronicle.co.zw/inside.aspx?sectid=3351&cat=1 but maybe not for long. Here are some parts of it:

Today’s meeting follows one held by the negotiators on Wednesday but failed to agree as MDC-T reportedly sought to re-open issues that had already been concluded while Zanu-PF insisted that they should focus on the outstanding two Ministries of Finance and Home Affairs.

In Zanu-PF we have a culture of honouring commitments and we sometimes get irritated when others don’t reciprocate.”

He castigated the MDC-T for practising “megaphone diplomacy by continuously negotiating in public”, saying doing so was acting in bad faith and in violation of the confidentiality clause in the agreement.
“We can not get anywhere if we take a posturing or negotiating in the media, like through the Internet, CNN, BBC and SABC. What the public needs to understand is that constituting a Cabinet is a heavy responsibility.

The task should better be left to the principals and not to too many people who could be motivated by selfish interests or the desire to bring about a certain outcome that could suit self-interests “like a hunter who goes hunting with salt and pepper,” he said.

“We also agreed that sanctions must be lifted and none of the MDCT leaders have privately or publicly called for the lifting of sanctions, all they do is mourning about the suffering of the Zimbabwean people and forget to mention the cause of that suffering which is primarily sanctions,” he said.

Right. So "MDC-T reportedly sought to re-open issues that had already been concluded". Is it just me, or does Zanu-PF define "been concluded" as "it is so because I said so"? I can't prove anything, but still... and "culture of honoring commitments"?? Muahaha! Me be laughing in face of government paid journalist who wrote that. How about the commitment of any government to make sure your people doesn't STARVE TO DEATH?? How about any governments commitment not to KILL ITS OWN CITIZENS??" Culture of honoring commitments... *mumbles something*. Of course MDC-T is being open about the negotiations. Have you heard what a crime? They openly tell the media about the negotiations? How dare they embrace free speech? People might - God forbid - know the truth and may be "motivated by selfish interests or the desire to bring about a certain outcome that could suit self-interests" - like the self interest of being able to EAT for example.

Of course, the evil MDC-T leaders are only "mourning about the suffering of the Zimbabwean people and forget to mention the cause of that suffering which is primarily sanctions". Yes, sure. The sanctions. The sanctions are to blame for the problems. It has nothing to do with the fact that the farmers who actually knew how to grow food were thrown out. It's not at all related to the destruction the government made. I just get so mad when I read that... he is blaming the MDC-T for mourning the suffeing of the Zimbabwean people. Ok, calm down... count to 10 slowly...

Now, in this article that has dissappeared it was reported about a shop that was legally and under the Zimbabwean central bank's supervision selling some products in Zimbabwean dollars and some products in foreign currency. There's still reports on that on the central bank's homepage. It's called "FOLIWARS" What? Foolish Wars? What? No, it's FOreign exchange LIcenced WArehouses and Retail Shops". The trade in foreign currency has been going on on the black market for so long now, that the government apparently realised that in order to get rid of it, they need to make it legal. On the pdf document on the bank's homepage they say the following (my comments in paranthesis):

As Monetary Authorities, we have watched and observed with heavy hearts the suffering of fellow Zimbabweans as they waited and continue to wait in long queues at the borders seeking to bring in basic commodities. (As we ate our cheeseburgers when we observed these poor people from our limousine windows we felt so sorry for them we couldn't watch it any longer. We took another sip from our glass of wine and asked our drivers to take us home to our mansions)

We have also seen desperate mothers and youths spending cold nights in foreign lands in pursuit of basic commodities. (This really does break our hearts. Poor poor people. Sometimes I really wish I could give away my entire fortune to them. I do. But I can't just give away loads of money, you know. That would cause... inflation...)

Here at home, our hearts are bleeding at the daily sights of workers being laid off their jobs due to industrial capacity underutilization (Luckily, the bank of Zimbabwe is always properly manned with competent overpaid staff. Actually, we just print our own salary).

Against this background, it has become compellingly clear that innovations be invoked to increase internal capacity utilization, as well as shoring up the availability of basic goods and services (I don't know why we didn't think of that 4 years ago, but whatever)

It is for this reason; the reason to stand for and defend the welfare of fellow Zimbabweans that the FOLIWARS are being introduced for an initial period of 18 months to 31 March, 2010 as an experiment as we gear ourselves for the 2010 World Cup Games which must find ourselves ready to cater for all visitors to our country. (In other words, we will stop letting people use foreign currency in local shops just before the world cup. Striking logic, isn't it? And of course, the welfare of fellow Zimbabweans is the reason we do this. It is perfectly clear that people whose entire savings have been erased by the inflation, who have been thrown out of their homes and that live in the mud of the street can still easily buy things with foreign currency. Totally).

Yes, as is typical with any innovations, there would be those who forever are perpetual critics who would be quick to condemn this intervention as unsustainable. We all know what the Wright Brothers went through back in 1903, as they worked to develop what we now marvel as modern aircraft. (And of course a monetary idea that might or might not work when the local currency inflation has reached 11 million percent is totally comparable to the invention of airplanes. Did anyone say absurd?)

Ok, I really need to finish this post now, it has been long enough. Just one more thing. Here's another copy paste from an article no longer available from a government owned newspaper:
http://www.herald.co.zw/inside.aspx?sectid=1738&cat=8

Gross domestic product has fallen by more than 50 percent during this period while agriculture production, the country’s mainstay, has fallen drastically.

However, there is economic hope from the talks currently going on between Zimbabwe’s two main political parties, Zanu-PF and MDC that an agreement will help calm the financial storm.

This must be the closest I've reached a government aknowledge of the existence of the Murambatsvina. It says the agriculture production has fallen drastically, but doesn't want to say why. We can only hope that above mentioned agreement between crazy killers and normal people, that won't even talk to one another, can calm down the financial storm. But first they need to resolve who is playing golf with who and who is more white than black and vice versa.

Amb tots vosaltes: Paul "The beast" Dianno ..... Killers ....

Killers .....

You walk through the subway, his eyes burn a hole in your back,
A footstep behind you, he lunges prepared for attack.
Scream for mercy, he laughs as he's watching you bleed,
Killer behind you, his blood lust defies all his needs.

My innocent victims are slaughtered with wrath and despise,
The mocking religion of hatred that burns in the night.
I have no one, I'm bound to destroy all this greed,
A voice inside me compelling to satisfy me.

I can see what a knife's meant to be,
And you'll never know how I came to forsee, see, see.

My faith in believing is stronger than lifelines and ties,
With the glimmer of metal my moment is ready to strike.

Death call arises, a scream breaks the still of the night,
Another tomorrow, remember to walk in the light!
I have found you, and now there is no place to run,
Excitement shakes me, oh God help me what have I done?!
Oooh yeah, I've done it!
YEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHH!

You walk through the subway, my eyes burn a hole in your back,
A footstep behind you, he lunges prepared for attack.
Scream for mercy, he laughs as he's watching you bleed,
Killer behind you, my blood lust defies all my needs.
Oooh look out, I'm coming for you!
Ahahahaha!

============================================================

NEW DELHI, October 3 (Compass Direct News) – At least two more Christians were killed today in Orissa state’s Kandhamal district after Hindu extremists this week set fire to nearly 400 homes there and in Boudh district. A third man succumbed to axe injuries on Wednesday (Oct. 1).

Weeks after Hindu extremist violence erupted against Christians, this morning tribal peoples in Sindhipankha village killed Dushashan Majhi, a local influential Christian, first shooting him and them cutting him to pieces. Local Christian leaders reported that Majhi was a government servant working in the treasury.

The mob then turned on Sanyasi Majhi, also said to be Christian, who was with Dushashan Majhi. There were unconfirmed reports that a third victim was killed along with the other two.

A local Christian who wished to remain unnamed told Compass that after killing the two men, the assailants massacred cattle belonging to village Christians and burned Christian-owned houses. Sindhipankha is about seven kilometers (four miles) from Tumudiband.

Local news reporter Lalit Jena told Compass from Kandhamal that the attacks – which have continued unabated since Hindu extremists blamed Christians for the death of Hindu leader Laxmanananda Saraswati on Aug. 23 even though Maoist militants admitted murdering him – involve women first ransacking the Christian homes.

“The modus operandi of the tribal mob is such that women go first and attack the Christian houses,” he said. “They ransack and rob the household’s gold and other jewelry, TVs and all that is precious. The men then follow and burn the houses. Lately it has been reported that now they are fighting among themselves for the booty.”

Jena added that tribal peoples who lived in poverty before the violence now have obtained many heads of cattle, including goats and cows, within a short span, as well as household goods.

“They may have no electricity in their villages, but one can see lots of television sets, nearly all of it looted from the Christians,” he said.

Axe Murder

On Wednesday (Oct. 1), Lalji Nayak, believed to be about 80 years old, died from axe wounds after a Hindu extremist mob attacked his village of Hrudangia the previous day. Nayak and 14 others were wounded, with Nayak struck between his neck and chest.

While three of the wounded received first-aid at a health center in Kandhamal, eight others, including Nayak and his wife Mandaki, were admitted to MKCG Medical College in Berhampur. At press time Nayak’s widow, who received an axe blow just below the ear, remained in the medical center with a serious head injury.

Local Christians in Berhampur wanted to give Lalji Nayak a Christian burial, but police did not allow it. Utkal Christian Council members B.D. Das and J.R. Patro expressed strong objections to the police action.

Nayak’s brother, Junas Nayak, was taken to Cuttack Medical College for gunshot wounds. He remained in critical condition at press time with multiple gunshot wounds, and according to Jena has a total of 13 bullets in him.

“Seven are on his left thigh, and six in his right hand, but the doctors have so far done nothing to remove them from his body, even though he has been admitted in the hospital since September 30,” Jena told Compass. “We are concerned that he may develop septic [shock or infection] because of the delay.”

In the attacks, an 8-year-old boy miraculously survived after being hit by an axe in the middle of his skull.

Two pregnant Christian women, Archana and Geeta Sahu, this week were brought from Kandhamal to Berhampur hospital, where they gave birth and were said to be out of danger.

Houses Burned

Nearly 400 houses were burned or destroyed in Orissa state’s Boudh and Kandhamal districts this week.

On Wednesday (Oct. 1), mobs set fire to dozens of houses in the Raikia area of the Kandhamal district. Yesterday the violence crossed over to neighboring Boudh district as about 100 houses were torched by mobs in at least nine villages. Worst affected was the village of Kantamal.

The burning of houses continued this morning, with more than 400 houses reported to have been either burnt or destroyed in Boudh and Kandhamal districts.

Police have reportedly arrested five people so far in connection with the burning of the houses in Boudh district.

Additional District Magistrate Mihir Chandra Mallik told reporters, that unidentified people set fire to over a hundred houses of Dalit Hindus in at least nine villages in Boudh district.

“We have set up a relief camp at Kantamal town to provide food and shelter to the people who have lost their homes,” he added.

The administration said that the motive for burning these houses was ethnic, as Kandh tribal peoples attacked Dalit Pana homes.

Area church leaders confirmed this, but one said on condition of anonymity, “First they were targeting Christian Panas only, but now even Hindu Panas are not being spared. All Hindus who have not joined the mobs in attacking Christians are also being treated in the same way as Christians.”

Both Dalit Pana houses as well as homes belonging to the Christian Pana community have been targeted in Boudh district, he said.

In Barakhama village near Kandhamal, Christians may move to the safer Daringbadi. A local pastor told Compass that Barakhama was also targeted last December, when around 400 homes belonging to Christians were burned and demolished.

“The same continues now,” he said on condition of anonymity. “The Christians love their homes, but it is just not safe to live here anymore, for the government has failed to protect us. The Christians in Barakhama have almost decided to move collectively to Daringbadi, which is at least a bit safer.”

It is estimated that around 500 Christian families will leave the village.

Nun Raped

Police have finally confirmed the rape of a nun in Kandhamal two days after the death of Hindu leader Saraswati.

A mob of around 40 men attacked the nun at K. Nuagaon village, where she and a priest, Father Thomas Chellantharayil, had taken shelter after their center was attacked. The mob allegedly dragged her and the priest to a deserted office of a Non-Governmental Organization, where she was stripped and raped. The priest was reportedly doused with gas and beaten as he tried to stop the attack on her.

Police have arrested four suspects in the rape. Juria Pradhan, 52, his 22-year-old son Kartik Pradhan, Biren Sahu, 35, and 26-year-old Tapas Patnaik were arrested in connection with the assault and rape of the 29-year-old Catholic nun on Aug. 25.

The inspector-in-charge of Baliguda police station has since been suspended in connection with the incident. The Orissa government has also ordered a probe, 39 days after the initial complaint.

District Superintendent of Police S. Praveen Kumar this week told reporters that a medical examination report confirmed that the nun was raped.

The Hindustan Times reported today that although the report was filed weeks ago, police obtained the medical examination report only two days ago following media reports and the efforts of Sister Nirmala, Superior-General of the Missionaries of Charity, who wrote to the state seeking justice.

“A police official said they were busy in maintaining law and order and could not find time to look into the case,” the national daily reported.

Attempts at Law and Order

Since Wednesday (Oct. 1), 46 people have been arrested on charges of rioting in Kandhamal district. A police official said that they had arrested more than 300 people in the past month.

Christian leaders attributed the sudden arrest of 46 people in the last two days to new state Director General of Police (DGP) Manmohan Praharaj, who took over from Gopal Chandra Nanda, who retired on Tuesday (Sept. 30).

Hindu extremist Vishwa Hindu Parishad International President Ashok Singhal did not take kindly to the latest arrests.

“The new DGP is indiscriminately arresting leaders of Hindu organizations that are not related to any case,” he told reporters this week.

Nearly 53 companies of paramilitary forces have been appointed in Kandhamal district, and curfew was still imposed. The central government sent 1,000 paramilitary personnel in the form of 10 Central Reserve Police Force companies on Wednesday (Oct. 1) to Kandhamal district. Local sources said 10 more companies were expected by Sunday (Oct. 5).

The central government has come down heavily on the Orissa state government. Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil wrote a strongly worded letter to Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday (Oct. 3) asking him to take effective measures and provide security for the Christian community in the state.

“Merely continuing to ask for additional forces after every few days cannot be the solution,” Patil wrote. “The state government has to implement overall strategy for creating an environment of security.”

The letter came hours after the Union Cabinet expressed grave concern over the situation in the state, with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh directing Patil to present a report on the situation at the next cabinet meeting.

Peace Rally in New Delhi

In New Delhi, nearly 15,000 Christians joined in a peace march in solidarity with the victims of the Orissa and Karnataka violence yesterday.

The peace march was the culmination of the week-long sit-in organized by the Christians of Delhi and NCR (National Capital Region) beginning Sept. 26 to protest atrocities on Christians in Orissa and Karnataka. The peace march took place on the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, father of the nation.

Many national leaders, including central ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Oscar Fernandes, addressed the gathering at the Dharna (sit-in). Yadav, the union minister for Indian Railways, promised to personally meet with the prime minister and urgently discuss the matter. He said that he would “take up the anti-Christian violence in Parliament and debate the hatred of Hindutva [Hindu nationalist] forces.”

Hindu leaders such as Swami Agnivesh addressed the peace march at Rajghat (Gandhi’s final resting place), saying that the “very killers of Mahatma Gandhi, are the same killers of Christians in Orissa, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and other parts of the country . . . The Hindutva fascists do not represent the peace-loving Hindu societies, rather they are damaging the Sanatam Dharma [eternal law] of Hinduism,” he said.

Malalaï joined Kandahar's police force in 1982 and her father and brothers were also police officers. When the Taliban took over Afghanistan, like other women, she was prevented from working. She was well known for her bravery in fighting criminals. She has been on the hit-list of the Taliban as they were scared of this courageous cop.

Watch a video about this slain heroine . . .

The Taliban killed her as their primitive minds could not tolerate a lady police officer who opposed their barbaric practices. Shame on the mediæval male-chauvinist morons! :-x

Notification of manipulation of information
New York / London. 3mnewswire.org/ PUBLIC DECLARATION. S

Notification of manipulation of information

New York / London. 3mnewswire.org/ PUBLIC DECLARATION. September 30/October 1, 2008. As founder and editor in chief of IBS Independent Broadcasting Service Liberty, Radio IBS Liberty and IBS Television Liberty I have to make you aware of the situation that our editors have discovered the sad fact that many information provided through different sources have been identified as political or religious manipulated information.

As independent media we have been calling many offices of organizations and institution in the United States of America, Germany, the United Kingdom, France and other countries. Although all of the editors are registered editors and journalists these requests for interviews have been NOT answered. We therefore doubt, that the FREEDOM of information and the FREEDOM or LIBERTY of the press is granted.

However it is very sad to learn that we have discovered that many of the information which we do receive every day are manipulated for religious and political reason.

As we are independent media since 1986 which is NOT supported by any government, nor by huge companies or parties with huge financial ressocurce, I see it as my duty to make you aware of the fact that it seems that most of the information which is provided generally is not without manipulation for political and religious reason. We trying to understand and do some special kind of research, how independent journalists might have access to FREE and independent perhaps NOT manipulated information. It is hard so far as we have learned already and it is seems crystal clear already as long as you are not a millionaire and rich even as a journalist, many people do believe then you have nothing to say and to write about any issue. As we all have learned the airwaves and the papers are owned usually by huge massive companies or in Germany even by political parties.

In Germany many people say: "There the money is there is the power." -- This is a part of the truth. We do believe that rich people should use the financial power not to oppress people, not to make them slaves, not to control or even not to destroy millions of poor people. As you are able to imagine many rich people do think different.

Therefore it seems quite impossible to deliver you the truth in news and information because most of the so called news releases even by governmental sources are manipulated. In many cases they have nothing to do with the truth or do provide only a little part of the truth, so far as we have been able to discover.

However we will continue to provide these kind of information also, because it is also an information to learn how news are made with or without the truth and with or even without a free press, a free speech or without the possibility for independent journalists to fulfill their public duties as granted in the constitution of the United States of America (U.S.A.) or in the basic law known as the "Grundgesetz" in Germany.

We are exceedingly sorry that we have to learn, that without money it is almost impossible to provide the truth or even the part of the truth and many rich people do believe that they actually own this world and that independent journalists and poor people have no rights, even not the right for information or truth.

As the founder of the IBS Independent Broadcasting Service Liberty, Radio IBS Liberty, IBS Independent Broadcasting Liberty many people are able to imagine that I do disagree with some views such as that independent journalist have no right to access information or a part of the truth and such as view that poor people have no rights.

However since 1986 we are trying hard to provide under LOW- and NO-budget conditions in the English and German language good quality news and information and so far as possible the truth.

This seems to be in these days of disasters a quite difficult duty and task and we need and want to make our readers, viewers and listeners aware of the situation that almost every human being is lied to, manipulated and even brainwashed with manipulated information.

As we are a part of this evil world, we are not able to exclude our services or even ourselves from this evil world and so we will continue to deliver so far a possible the truth and many different kind of information.

We are independent in the sense that no government, no party nor any huge company with massive financial resources does own our services. As you know all the prices even for gas have risen and without traveling it is hard to gather the news. In times of a global financial crisis even the costs of covering stories and gathering news for independent journalists have been risen.

Many leaders in countries are talking a lot about democracy, liberty, peace and justice but many leaders are far away from democracy, liberty, peace and justice then it comes to the point, that independent journalists which are NOT embedded do cover stories.

It happen already many times that people have lied before judges in the courts. Therefore you should expect that people even do lie in front of many television or even film cameras.

As editor and founder of independent media since 1984 and 1986 I do believe that it is not right to practice mind control. However you should be aware that exactly these dangerous games of mind control are "played" every day in local, national and international communities and we are against mind control. As you are able to imagine I do believe that all people have equal rights of liberty, human rights, information, democracy and to know the truth.

We all should be aware of the situation that in many cases every single day we have been told a lie because some forces or other people can not live with the liberty of other people and they are trying by controlling our mind to steal the joy of liberty, freedom and peace.

In case of the religious views in our editorial offices you should know that some of my colleagues and journalists are believers of the Jewish, Muslim or Christian faith and we are opened minded and do support international understanding since 1986.

This means that we do provide information, news and interviews of people which have different religious views then our own religious views and if we cover stories about the different views of other people it does not mean that we do agree with these different views or do adopt them as our own views but we are going to cover stories even with totally different view then our own views as we are independent journalists supporting international understanding since 1986.

Oh, NO! Not again! That would be the reaction of any sane person who would have heard about the terrorist attacks in two towns in western India. Just two days after the Delhi flower market blast that killed 3 people and injured 23, two more explosions rocked the communally sensitive towns of Modasa in the state of Gujarat and Malegaon in the state of Maharashtra, killing a total of 7 people and injuring 80 8-O

A satellite image of Malegaon . . .

In the first instance, similar to the flower market blast in Delhi, motorcycle-borne scum beings dropped a bomb in a crowded market place in the town of Modasa. In the second case, a motorcycle bomb went off in a hotel near a mosque in the powerloom town of Malegaon where 37 people were killed and more than 125 were injured in a blast near a religious place two years ago. While the explosions were low intensity bombs that are different from the sophisticated devices used in the serial blasts, the criminals behind the blasts could belong to the same jehadi terrorist organisations behind the serial blasts intent on causing communal strife or they could be scoundrels belonging to a Hindu terrorist outfit.

Shockingly, India has become the serial blasts capital of the world. Not a week passes without news of bomb blasts in one city or another. Shame on the filthy vermin :-x who blast innocent people to death!

Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Sunday urged cabinet ministers to adopt a tougher stance on punishing West Bank settlers over violent acts against Palestinians.

Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting in Jerusalem, Barak cited the unruly behavior of settlers who he said tended to take the law into their own hands, causing damage to Palestinian property.

The defense minister also stressed that settler attacks on Israel Police officers and Israel Defense Forces soldiers stationed near settlements presented a danger to Israeli public service.

He said that of late, IDF officers have arrested a number of settler youth charged with disturbing peace.

Although the incidents have been recorded, Barak said, the offenders have rarely been brought to court or tried for their actions. Those who are brought before legal authorities are discussed with light penalties, Barak added.

Reiterating his assertion from last week's cabinet meeting, the defense minister said that the government must create an environment in which legal authorities work together to put offenders behind bars.

He added that he has raised the issue of late with Attorney General Menachem Mazuz, and asked of him to ensure that punishment be enforced accordingly in West Bank settlements.

Meanwhile, the body of a 19-year-old Palestinian shepherd was found with gunshot wounds late Saturday night near a West Bank village south of Nablus, in an attack Palestinians blamed on local settlers.

all i can remember is that i was eating pizza with my mom like out in a courtyard. something was odd about where we were eating. maybe someone else there that bothered me. my contractor that has been working on my condo called me 3 times i believe. the last time said he finished my place finally and it looks sweet. i'm currently underway so hopefully when i do get back home in real life it will be finished. then i am walking down this road. i feel i'm in this industrial area during night and waiting for someone. i pick up this phone somehow and i'm suppose to give this message to some old guy that lives there. i'm not suppose to be on the property. i see this big old old house. massive. i'm too afraid to go over and give the message. there isn't any reason for me too because i'm not even suppose to be there. i wake up.

Rubicon in the Rear-View, Part I: Militarizing the Police

The future of law enforcement: The 193rd Military Police Battalion, Colorado National Guard, trains at Ft. Carson last July 12 in preparation for deployment as part of JTF-DNC -- the military component of security arrangements for the Democratic Convention in Denver.

There are those who still think they are holding the pass against a revolution that may be coming up the road. But they are gazing in the wrong direction. The revolution is behind them.

Garet Garrett, The Revolution Was (1938)

The seamless integration of the military and law enforcement into a single "Internal Security Force" is the defining characteristic of a fully realized police state. Once this fusion is accomplished, the question becomes not "whether" a police state exists, but rather how acute its institutional violence against the subject population will become.

That condition now exists in the country that still calls itself -- without any apparent irony -- the United States of America.

Much alarm has been raised over the admittedly alarming news that beginning October 1, the U.S. Army's Northern Command will deploy a specialized, combat-tested unit as an "on-call federal response force for natural or manmade emergencies and disasters, including terrorist attacks."

This "dwell-time" domestic deployment of the 3rd Infantry Division's 1st Brigade Combat Team will permit its soldiers to "use some of the [skills] they acquired in the war zone" to deal with "civil unrest and crowd control or to deal with potentially horrific scenarios such as massive poisoning and chaos in response to a chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or high-yield explosive, or CBRNE, attack."

In the context of our descent into rank imperial corruption, this small but significant development could be seen by some as the moment our rulers crossed the Rubicon. But that metaphorical boundary has been in our rear-view mirror for quite some time. Admittedly, there is something quite ominous about the news that "homeland tours" are expected to become a routine part of the rotation of soliders tasked to carry out missions for those who command Washington's Empire.

The Homeland Security apparatus is a recombinant organism, engineered from multiple strands of institutional authoritarianism.

The process began in earnest in the late 1960s with the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration; the chimera has grown in power and malignancy because of the generation-long, trillion-dollar exercise in murderous cynicism called the "War on Drugs."

Indeed, it was in the context of this "war" that exceptions began to be carved out of the Posse Commitatus Act, which was intended to prevent the fusion of military and law enforcement functions within the United States. The cultivation of a huge population of official informants added another critical element to the metastasizing organism of official tyranny.

The Drug War likewise introduced Americans to the variety of official larceny called "civil asset forfeiture," through which police and Sheriff's departments nation-wide were turned into roving bands of officially protected highway robbers. The corruption of local law enforcement into federal welfare whores was an indispensable step toward the synthesis of a distinctly American police state.

Although we're constantly told that "everything changed" on September 11, the actual impact of The Day That (Supposedly) Changed Everything was to add a highly potent nutrient into the growth medium in which the Beast was already flourishing. This merely accelerated a process that was already well advanced.

Consider, as just one illustration, a series of Presidential Decision Directives, issued by Bill Clinton in his second term, that deal with the integration of the military with civilian law enforcement to deal with terrorist incidents involving Weapons of Mass Destruction or catastrophic natural disasters.

Apart from a few hidebound constitutionalists and easily-maligned Y2K "alarmists," nobody objected to this new intimacy between the military and civilian police. Then again, nobody had become concerned over the proliferation of military-trained SWAT and tactical teams, or the creation, in 1995, of the Pentagon's Law Enforcement Support Organization (LESO), through which police and Sheriff's departments could receive military hardware of any kind they desired at concessionary prices, "as if they were a DoD [Department of Defense] organization," in the words of the program's official pitchman.

The results of this ... well, call it a "guided evolution" of the law enforcement system, were entirely predictable.

"I served in the U.S. military and after I got out I ended up becoming a cop in 2002," recalls Bill, who was Battalion Soldier of the Year in 1999 and "Top Gun" in his police academy class. Bill shared his experiences in reaction to a podcast I recently did with Lew Rockwell examining the emergence of America's unitary, militarized Homeland Security state.

At the time he joined the force, many of the veterans "were old school, having started in law enforcement before I was born. They were tough but fair. They treated people with respect."

However, the "old school" officers "were forced out of the department [and it] took on a military feel," Bill continues. "You were expected to take [a] `just follow orders and obey the [department administration attitude], no matter what, regardless if it was constitutional or not. The amount of force used during arrests went through the roof."

"Urban Shield": A SWAT operator at UC-Berkeley play-acts in a training simulation involving a stand-off with armed, militant animal rights activists. Yeah, that's a plausible scenario.

This militarized mindset -- the notion that the job of police was to compel "civilians" to submit to state authority -- had a tangible impact in terms of the promiscuous use of the "non-lethal" Taser weapon.

"When I first started we had a couple M26 Tasers of we needed them, but most people either left them at the PD or in their patrol cars," Bill relates. They were useful in a handful of instances involving armed, deranged people, and when used in those circumstances "they do save lives." However, once the Taser was in use, police started to use them as instruments of "pain compliance": "Anytime anyone did anything that was not compliant, out came the Taser."

"The tactics the SWAT team was using were also becoming more like the military," Bill laments. "We even got a military Humvee. We were now wearing BDUs and carrying fully automatic machine guns and wearing the same body armor as soldiers were in Iraq. All of our 870 Remington shotguns were removed from the patrol cars and replaced with full-automatic H&K-made G36 machine guns -- to the protest of all the patrol officers, mind you. If anyone spoke out they were `dealt with.' In the course of 3 years they went through over 50 patrol officers. And this is a department with only about 47 officers total."

Once the exception, now the rule: SWAT paramilitaries put on a demonstration for teenagers attending a "Citizen Police Academy."

While military hardware was being forced on recalcitrant officers, those willing to carry out their assigned roles were being used to disarm civilians as the opportunity presented itself:

"People were having their weapons confiscated for `safe keeping' during traffic stops. [My home state] is a rural state that relies heavily on hunting for income. Everyone has a gun here. Even my 88-year-old grandma carries one in her purse (yes, she has a CC permit). So to take someone's guns you had better have a damn good reason, not just because they have a gun in their car and it's after 9 PM."

After witnessing this long train of official abuses, "many of us spoke out." Those who did so "were then run through the cleaners." Bill recounts an effort by the department administration to extort perjured testimony from him against a shift Sergeant who had condemned the department's corruption. Those who spoke out against corruption -- which included prosecutors and judges -- "were either fired unlawfully or quit."

In August 2007, after five and a half years on the force, Bill finally reached his frustration threshold and quit.

The sinkhole of dictatorial abuse and Sicilian corruption described by Bill is a small community in South Dakota -- that haven of sober Midwestern rectitude whose citizens aren't afflicted with a state income tax. If it's this bad in the green wood, what's it like in the dry? Well, according to Bill, "these abuses do, sadly, happen in almost every town in America."

The process Bill describes is a peculiar type of alembic, distilling the worst elements from a recruiting pool to serve in local police forces. Rather than retaining people of character and principle, the process selects for the officious, the self-satisfied, the opportunistic, and especially for those fixated on power.

Martin, who likewise shared his experience in reaction to the Lew Rockwell podcast, is a former Marine. As he was processed out of the Corps he was pitched by a recruiter the LAPD. Although he had no interest in the job, he was interested -- and more than a bit alarmed -- by what he learned about the ease with which former military personnel can become "civilian" police, and the eagerness of the LAPD to absorb military veterans into its ranks.

Recruiters "told us how they'd worked with command elements so that a Marine could go through LAPD academy while still in the service -- meaning a seamless transition to police work from military life," Martin reports. Probably the "scariest" element of military recruitment, Martin says, is that "for basic officer positions a series of mental testing and psychological testing was not necessary. It is feasible for a Marine to get back to the states from a deployment to Iraq, get out of the military, and then start patrolling the streets of LA in a matter of a few months."

"Police work is the easiest and most lucrative thing for a former Marine or military person to transfer to, especially us infantry kids who received no real job training while in the military," Martin concludes. "To us police work is the closest civilian equivalent of the patrolling that we did in Iraq. I think it is safe to assume that the more `grunts' we make and give combat experience the more militarized our police departments will become."

Running through this entire story we can find a microscopically thin thread of hope in the reluctance of at least some military and police personnel to serve the Regime's apparatus of repression. But the generational trends Bill describes will only grow worse as a law enforcement assimilates veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have on the mindset of tomorrow's police recruits.

In his fascinating Iraq war account Generation Kill, Evan Wright describes his experiences as a reported embedded in one of the first Marine units to invade Iraq in 2003. One lieutenant, describing the "Gen X" and "Gen Y" youngsters fighting in Iraq, observed that during World War II, when the Marines hit the beaches in the Pacific campaign, “a surprisingly high percentage of them didn't fire their weapons, even when faced with direct enemy contact. Not these guys. Did you see what they did to that town? They f*****g destroyed it. These guys have no problem with killing."

No problem with killing.

Our sin nature notwithstanding, any typical human being has exceptionally strong inhibitions where taking another life is concerned. This internal restraint can be subverted by a process of self-seduction in the service of some illicit design; it can be undermined by severe emotional or psychological trauma. For those in the military, it is nullified through patient, deliberate indoctrination -- and even then, the psychological impediment to homicide still re-asserts itself for many in the military.

But "Generation Kill" includes more than a few young men produced by a deeply nihilistic popular culture who have exceptionally few compunctions about killing. When they are recruited into law enforcement, they will retain both the mindset and muscle-memory of trained, remorseless killers.

Some one sent me an email today and said they would love to know what is on my iPod. They wanted to know what music made me tick.

Really...does music say something about me?

Well, Here is what is currently on my device.

Podcasts: Dave Ramsey, Clark Howard, Tiki Bar (Video), HockeyBuzz, CEO Exchange, Bored Again Christian- I have others that I am trying but haven't decided if I love them enough to list them.

Music: Wow, this list is really long so I will just hit on my favorites. I am completely serious when I say I have everything from Manson to Dixie Chics (don't even go there). My Favorites in music: Killers, Jeremy Camp, Todd Smith, ACDC, Van Halen, Big and Rich, Taylor Swift, Nickleback, Sir Mix A Lot(Yeah I go old school), Garth Brooks, Jason Mraz, Queensryche and Metalica.

So what does this say about me? What should I have that is new, cool and probably never heard of? What do you have on your iPod?

Damn it! Those scum beings :-x have struck again. Two weeks after serial bomb blasts killed 24 people and injured 100 in different parts of Delhi, a bomb was dropped in a crowded flower market in Delhi's Mehrauli area, killing a child and injuring more than 20, five of them seriously. Read the latest news here.

The flower market in Mehrauli . . .

This attack however seems to be different from the serial blasts. Unlike the sophisticated explosive devices used in the horrible serial blasts, this one was a crude parcel bomb without any timing devices. Two filthy scoundrels on a motorcycle wearing black dresses and helmets dropped a bag containing a lunch box bomb. They are believed to have sped away even as they were told that something fell off their motorcycle. An eleven-year-old boy who picked up the bag was killed as the bomb exploded and twenty others were injured in the blast, with some of them receiving serious head injuries

Whether these two vermin :-x belong to the vile Indian Mujahideen terror group  or not remains to be seen. Still, they are filthy barbarians who would stoop to extreme lows to carry out their nauseating acts of terror. Shame on the sordid scum creatures! :-x
