For starters, there's that creepy little Mazda kid. Every time a car passes, he shows up to say "Zoom Zoom", with a strange smirk on his face and dressed as if he's just come from his mother's funeral. Then it usually cuts to some overhead shot of the road, but the road has changed to spell the words "Zoom Zoom" when looked at from a god's-eye view. And at some point in the commercial---whether toward the end or near the beginning---they start singing the song where it repeats "Yah zoom zoom zoom" over and over. The thing that bothers me most about that is the fact that there's clearly an attempt by the advertiser to capitalize on some vague tribal nature of the chant. They make it sound as if "Zoom Zoom" is some sort of cultural thing shared only by native Africans and Mazda drivers. "Zoom Zoom" starts sounding like a status symbol and less like a childish way to say "This car can go fast."

To make matters worse, they equip all new Mazdas with "Zoom Zoom" decals on the back window, as if the world needed any more proof that you're a douchebag. It's almost as bad as the Hummer I was stuck behind on my commute home the other day with a license plate that read "NO MPG". As with the Hummer, any time I see a car with "Zoom Zoom" on the back window (my Dad's excluded), I feel compelled toward an intentional rear-end.

Such was the case as I waited in the KFC drive-through this evening. I know that there should be no complaints, considering that I was not only buying Kentucky Fried Chicken, but was too lazy to get out of my car for it. Nonetheless, I was focused on the hilarious juxtaposition of the minivan in front of me and the employee smoking a cigarette against the wall. Although she was no more than eight feet from the minivan, neither party seemed to acknowledge the fact that they were operating both ends of the drive-through call box. I watched as she spoke into her headset, the words coming from her mouth and the compressed, difficult-to-understand speaker all at the same time. Ironically enough, the minivan had a bumper sticker that was simply two penguins facing each other and almost touching beak-to-beak. I saw the man and the KFC employee in a very similar situation and thought, "Is this what America has become?"

...Until I saw the "Zoom Zoom" sticker on the back of the van and got that damn jingle stuck in my head.

anyway, was telling FE something on mon.. and she is jus a typical scorpio lah!! haha.. she was telling me "treat the person back the way the person treated u.. let the person have a taste of how it felt!" see.. thats a typical scorpio.. very 记仇 one.. so better DUN offend FE.. LOL!!

went to JP this evening.. for dinner with mum and bros.. coz tml is bro's bday so mum treating us KFC.. super fattening sia! imagine the amt of fats tat i ate from tat 2pcs chicken.. faintz!

I have just got back from M&S to grab some lunch and decided to get a pasta pot which consisted of feta cheese and tomatoes which was 190g; this cost me £2.10 and as I was walking to pay I saw that I could infact pay 10p more and get a 330g pack of two steak slices.

Now because I am on a diet I carried on with the healthy option but if I wasn't the unhealthy option would have given me more for my money and this is the problem with the way we eat in this country and other Western countires.

If I was a single parent with two children (which I am not I might just add) then what options do I have? Buy a bag of 6 apples for around £1.12 or buy a big bag of crisps which at the moment in Tesco are 3 bags for £2.50, each one containing 12 bags, so that 36 bags of crisps for £2.50 as apposed to 12 apples for around the same price.

The same applies to anything, not just fruit and veg. A pack of 4 high quaility burgers for £3 or a pack of 40 economy burgers for £2.40? We know the latter will probably contain less than 0.00001% meat per burger but when you have a family and a budget people look more for quantity than quality.

Also if I am out and about what options do I have to feed myself and my theoretical kids? Llandudno for instance doesn't have a Spudulike, what it does have are a McDonald's, KFC, Subway, butty shops and endless amounts of chippies. A meal in all these places in under £4 per head, if I go into a supermarket or even get a salad from a take out I can be paying almost £3 and that's not including a drink! We just can't win it seems.

So instead of the government banging on all the time, why not subsidise healthy food for say 12 months and see if people do start living healthier lives and changing their eating habits, open more food places where the options are better.

I spose there are more of those 'DOT DOT DOT' photos I could show the WHOLE! WIDE! WEB! just to demonstrate how my weekend went (particularly early Saturday morning as I stumbled home and shrivelled up in bed)...But I don't think anybody wants to know. OUT OF SIGHT, OUT OF MIND I TELLS YA!

I also I know I shouldn't be, so openly discussing drinking (I know I've brought this up already) but it's still entertaining for me. You may think otherwise but...so?

Tonight, Phyllis called to come over to pick up her shoes. While I was wearing my old pyjamas, 2 days unwashed hair and overall, FUGLYFUGLYFUGLY appearance, I greeted her at the door with the intention of not letting her in any further incase she see my hideous self in all its glory (in the light)!! However, she was fungry so we went to KFC but I didn't want to go home so we ate-in and I could see all these people eyeing us (Phyllis was fugly like me too - sorry to put it so bluntly but we've accepted our fate). Anyway, being that it was Jen's bday yesterday, we bought ice cream and personally delivered it to her place. Hung out there - in other words I hogged the computer while they "studied" - then went back home.

FURTHER, I'm reverting back to my good ol' don't-give-a-shit fugly days where my idea of partying was having my fugly bitches come over randomly at night so we could watch movies and make dance videos which were NEVER in-sync nor "hot" or "sexy". You gotta wonder why things never turned out the way we anticipated... One of these days, I will have the courage to show everyone those home-made videos. PJS cladded Spice Girls 10pm on a weekday night procrastinating because the HSC is looming nearer = HAWT STUFF.
