Keep on travelin'. Keep on..." sang the teenagers of the Day-spring Chorale. They had just sung the first five words of their Sunday evening convert when everything went dark. All power was gone.

Well, not all power. Not true power. The students kept singing. Flashlights were found to shine on the chorale as they sang their entire repertoire without accompaniment.

Midway through the convert, the director, my daughter Lisa, asked the congregation to sing along. It was goosebump time  as God's name was lifted high in that darkened church. "Hallelujah" never seemed so heavenly.

Before the concert, everyone had worked hard to make sure all the electrical equipment was working. But the best thing that happened was for that power to go out. As a result, God's power was highlighted. God's light, not electric light, shone through. Jesus was praised.

Sometimes our plans break down and our efforts fall short. When things happen that we can't control, we must "Keep on travelin'" and remember where the real power for godly living and true praise comes from. When our efforts falter, we need to keep praising and lifting up Jesus. It's all about Him anyway.--Dave Branon.

Nachdem ich zum Frühstück eine GANZE Scheibe Brot – geschätztes Gewicht ca. fünf Tonnen - gestemmt hatte, nahm ich das Messer – nur ca. zehn Tonnen - und bestrich das Brot - fünf Tonnen, ach ja, das erwähnte ich bereits – mit der fedrigen Leichtigkeit von 1,7 Tonnen Butter.
Dann atmete ich tief ein, hob die Scheibe Käse hoch – 3 Tonnen – und wuchtete sie auf das Brot. Fünf Tonnen, kann man gar nicht oft genug erwähnen.
Danach war ich leider etwas erschöpft und legte mich ohne zu essen wieder ins Bett. Um dorthin zu gelangen, musste ich geschätzte 700 Treppenstufen steigen, welche sich über gefühlte 56 km erstreckten. Dann zog ich meine bleierne Bettdecke - 800 Tonnen - über mich und schlief sofort ein. Für ca. drei Tage.
Echt der Wahnsinn, wie sich meine durch jahrelanges Training erworbenen Muskeln innerhalb kürzester Zeit zurückgebildet haben.
Tja, wie schafft man es nun, diese Muskeln möglichst schnell und noch schöner als zuvor wieder aufzubauen? Die Lösung lautet: im Liegen trainieren.
Geht nicht? Doch.

Und das klingt nicht nur wunderschön sanft und verströmt diesen bittersüßen Charme der 70er, sondern es sieht auch noch ganz zauberhaft aus..

I couldn't be happier to see this. Where Will's rather excellent Keep On album was hindered by an initial error in launching with Switch It On - an excellent lead track, which left him nonetheless seeming inconsistent, and which had only been given prominence because of Will's desire to be 'different', this is a better and wiser start. He gets to please the fanbase and do something completely different before even launching himself. The buzz which has already come from this is reminiscent of the days of the Friday's Child album, having cleverly got this onto the Dreamkatchers' Myspace page before being 'mysteriously' removed. It got the necessary attention in all the right places...
