That sounds really fun, Lydia....sigh.  Okay, I went to Michigan, and that was really fun, too.  I didn't get any gashes or red ant bites.  But, now I have several very itchy mosquito bites from playing four square last night..ugh.  And, I can't even complain about them because Kate is getting poison ivy again.

I definitely agree with the private thing....this is not at all a public blog.  We aren't even saying important things half the time we post.  We are just complaining that no one else posts.  So, AYE from Star Banndite`!

I can get the book Megan picks in about a week.  So, unless she picks one fast, we might not be able to have one the first week of August.  And, we still need to see Nim's Island.  I don't think there is anything else....except I left wood burnings at Lydia's house about a year ago.

Happy LOST Thought of the Day : Kate's dumbfounded expression, watching Jack spike the football.

Kate was so exhausted on Sunday night after returning from Dallas, that she passed out (with our dog Maggie) at 6 PM.

I've been waiting.

Waiting to to get all of the photos taken during our trip to Michigan uploaded.

Waiting for the time to describe all of the wonderful happenings around Terry and Tiffany's wedding.

Wanting to give it all the time it is due.

Now, realizing that there is not enough time, because there are not enough words, I am piecing a few together. Just a few.

Kate's ever-more-impressive hosting of us in her home, and her good company.

Time spent on Harsen's Island getting everything set up.

Time with nephews Colin and Braden, both growing up so quickly.

The rehearsal dinner, where I had the opportunity to be with family and meet other important people in Terry and Tiffany's lives.

The wedding, which we were honored to participate in, as siblings to the bride and groom, and as Auntie Susan and Auntie Deb. Carrying Colin and Braden down the aisle in their tiny little suits. Susan's emotion during her reading. Braden falling asleep in my arms during the ceremony.

As we were all busy preparing to leave the house, something funny happen. Kate thinks that we are too slow and decides to help.

She took my bro's & SIL's shoes from the shoe cabinet and put them nicely on the floor all by herself, without anyone knowing. All of the sudden, the shoes are ready. Often she surprise us....

Ps. Chloe's officially 5 mths old today. Had wanted to take her measurements but haven't got time to do it. I shall do it tomorrow when I have time.

Nothing beats seeing sexy Sawyer on the screen.  Even better that someone did a little music video to the tune of wonderful Kid Rock's Lonely Road of Faith. 

I laughed at it at first, but I like it!

We stopped at the La Sagrada Familia, (the Holy Family Church), a giant temple that has been under construction since 1882, and they are still working on it! It's designer, Antonio Gaudi, is a very famous guy in Barcelona, you will hear and see a lot about his work all over the city.

We walked through many of the old streets, coming upon Columbus Square, which is the actual place where Columbus presented his idea to sail the sea to the King and Queen of Spain.

We checked into our hotel after being dropped off at the airport and hailing a taxi, quite an undertaking for a group of six. We all ended up at the same place - that was a miracle.

We decided to hike to the train station and head into the city on our own. That was a challenge as well, but again we made it!

We walked along the famous street of Las Rambles, where numerous street performers were doing their thing, making sure no one took our wallets.

We had our dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, which is where the kids always want to go. The food was great, very noisy and crowded.

We took the train back to the hotel with only one detour, so it was all good. We headed to bed early to anticipate our 4:30 AM wake up call.

Who needs the French Riviera anyway? We took it easy, had a nice breakfast on board while everyone else was out sightseeing.

We went bowling again, no pictures this time. We did go out on deck seven and play a few games of shuffleboard, that was also a treat.

The ship departed mid day from where we were anchored, the wind was pretty stiff and we took some pictures of the lifeboats being hoisted back on board. Fascinating to watch. It took them a while.

We played our final game of bingo, and WON $230! Made back all that we spent, except for drinks. It was fun. We missed the grand prize cruise for two - a fellow passenger from Texas won that one. We had a lot of fun. Colin happened to b e working the game when we won, Gregg was checking his raffle tickets, and Abigail was collecting our money at the Casino. Good times.

We had dinner at Tequilla, the Mexican restaurant on board. We tried some different things and it was all good. The girls had the hanging steak, for lack of a better name.
