Depois de conquistar o Rio de janeiro, Joss Stone fez o terceiro show de sua primeira turnê brasileira na noite da última segunda-feira(16/06/2008), no Via Funchal, na capital paulista. De pés descalços (fazendo a ala Shakira em show), a cantora britânica conquistou a platéia paulistana com seu charme, beleza e claro sua potente voz.

Ela subiu ao palco com 50 minutos de atraso, após a abertura de Jairzinho e sua irmã Luciana. A cantora abriu o show mandando três hits do seu último disco, Introducing Joss Stone: Girl They Won't Believe It, Headturner e Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now.

Joss terminou a apresentação com o hit do seu segundo disco, Mind Body & Soul, chamado Right to be Wrong. "Você são os melhores e nem sabem disso", afirmou. "Paz a todos". Enquanto isso entregou flores aos fãs posicionados mais próximos do palco.
Fazendo assim a festa da platéia vip entre eles Júlio Rocha,Mônica Veloso,Gisele Itié, Thaís Fersoza, Juan Alba, Daniel Alvin, Marisa Orth,Luiza Tomé,Wanessa Camargo,Priscila Fantin ente outros.

Joss Stone ainda se apresenta no Brasil nessa quarta-feira em Curitiba, no Teatro Positivo, e na quinta, em Porto Alegre no Pepsi on Stage.

Tim estava no trabalho quando passou mal, segundo informações da versão eletrônica do jornal americano The New York Times, que chegou a noticiar que a causa da morte seria um ataque cardíaco, mas esclareceu posteriormente que ainda não há uma confirmação.

A year ago today, Princes William and Harry hosted a marathon charity concert at London's Wembley Stadium to celebrate the birthday and the life of their late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales. The shindig lasted for hours, with classic music acts loved by Diana and newer artists favored by her sons performing. Music acts were interspersed by personal memories of the Princess and special messages from her favorite charities and causes. Photographs of the Princess were featured prominently on video screens throughout the stadium, including some rare family pictures.

The concert was attended by 63,000 people. Celebrities and members (and friends) of the royal family were among the audience members, including William, Harry, Chelsy Davy, Earl Spencer and his children, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Phillips, Mike Tindall, Peter Phillips, Autumn Kelly and (notably) Kate Middleton, from whom Prince William had reportedly split in April '07. The event was televised live and broadcast all over the world. We're pretty sure it was also the only time that the English National Ballet and Kanye West have ever performed at the same event (though we could be wrong, of course). Me transmiten más, y también por ello ha sido que sobre todo he escuchado voces femeninas, metiéndome más en ese pequeño universo particular. A menudo juego con cada voz. Cuando nunca he escuchado a una artista imagino cómo será físicamente en base a su voz y me gusta llevarme grandes sorpresas y darme cuenta de que la voz es una de las pocas cosas que no está del todo condicionado por la fisionomía.

Pero hay algo en especial que me gusta hacer con cada timbre, y es comparar cada voz de mujer a un instrumento. Imaginalo...

honestly, i can't remember the last time i've downloaded music (straight up itunes and last.fm baby!). seriously, it was hard giving up free music, but i think it was for the better. still, it's cool when recording artists can see the benefits of peer-2-peer sharing, even if the man can't.

Si todos los artistas de verdad pensasen así, la música defendería realmente su parte cultural, su difusión real, su verdadero cometido, y no el enriquecimiento hasta el infinito de las industrias discográficas y de las sociedades generales de autores que cobran hasta en los conciertos benéficos y en obras que ya no tienen derecho a retribución por haber pasado los años necesarios para que esté "libre de derechos retributivos".

Eso debería ser la cultura, buscar una verdadera retribución para los artistas de verdad y no engordar las carteras de intermediarios y cantantes de karaoke de pacotilla (eso sí, con glamour televisivo :D )
