The Donald.

On the QT is a travel questionnaire given to the world’s savviest globe trotters, exploring such eternal questions as carry on or check? On the hot seat this time is Donald Trump, who’s currently in the middle of a building boom, with a hotel going up in Dubai, a new spa in Las Vegas and — oh, just let him tell it. While our previous questionnee shared a wide range of interests, there's just one thing on the Donald’s mind, and that's the Donald. And maybe some Oreos.

What is your favorite trip?
I like going to my Mar-a-Lago club, in Palm Beach, Fla. It’s absolutely beautiful and unmatched by anything else in the world.

What is your favorite hotel?
Any hotel in the Trump Collection, which includes Las Vegas, Chicago, and New York and soon many other cities, including Dubai. And when I’m in Los Angeles, The Beverly Hills Hotel.

What is your favorite airport?
Since I have my own jet, I rarely see airports on any significant level.

What is your favorite restaurant?
Jean Georges in the Trump International Hotel & Tower on Central Park West is always fantastic.

What is your favorite shop?
The Gucci flagship store in Trump Tower is wonderful, and Ivanka’s jewelry shop on Madison Avenue is definitely worth a visit.

What place have you gone more than twice (not on business)?
Aspen.

The next place on my travel list is?
I’m going to Australia for a speaking tour.

Is there a tourist trap that you actually love?
Trump Tower has become a major NYC tourist attraction, and I love the building, if that counts.

What’s one unusual item you never travel without?
My bodyguard.

Carry on or check?
I have a private jet so I guess I do carry on.

City or country?
I like both, but business tends to take me to cities more often.

Lake, ocean or pool?
All three.

If you had to be a character on the "Love Boat," which would you be?
The Captain, of course.

On a road trip, are you the driver or the passenger?
I’ve never been on a road trip, but I sometimes drive myself when out of the city. I have a driver when in the city.

What is the craziest thing you’ve eaten while traveling?
Oreos.

If you were a city, which would you be?
New York City.

What do you do to fall asleep on an airplane?
Close my eyes.

What hotel has the cutest staff?
My hotels.

What travel related-job would you least like to have?
Security check in.

When your final day arrives, in which hotel would you like to die?
Trump Tower.

In attendance at the celebration was Heidi Klum, Demi Moore, Naomi Watts, and many of the Trump family members including wife Melania and daughter Ivanka.

Here's Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and his missus out on the town, hobnobbing with the rich and famous at one of Manhattan's chicest parties.

 

The couple turned up at the uber-cool Whitney Contemporaries Art Party and Auction Tuesday at the Skylight Studios.

The well-heeled crowd included society staples Tinsley Mortimer and Ivanka Trump.

But one fashionista sniffed that the Mannings' fashion sense scored no points.

Abby McGrew's dress is "too short, too tight, and doesn't fit well. The zipper doesn't zip and she's bursting out of it," said Linda Mann, head of Mann Media, who was eyeing photos of the beauty yesterday.

As for Super Bowl MVP Eli, Mann said he was a bit underdressed at the trendy happening.

 

"I think he's still adjusting to Manhattan," said one sympathetic partygoer.

It is one of the most exclusive fashion events (hell, any event) of the year and all the stars came out to play!

Some boldfaced names include power couple Victoria and David Beckham, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Vogue's editrix Anna Wintour, tennis star Venus Williams, actress and co-host of the evening Julia Roberts, singer Mary J. Blige, Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld who showed up with actress Kate Bosworth, , Hilary Duff, Robin Thicke, Sarah Silverman, Zoe Kravitz, model Gisele Bundchen and football player boyfriend Tom Brady, haggard over-the-hill model Kate Moss, model Molly Simms, Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, actress Claire Danes, Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri, Fergie, actress Eva Longoria among so so so many more!

We got the rundown from a little birdie that attended the event:

• Amy Winehouse, who was set to perform, backed out at the last minute.
• Ivanka Trump, daughter of the Donald, was blinged out head to toe in diamonds.
• Stavros Niarchos, most known for his relationship with Paris Hilton, showed up with a ghetto Asian looking girl - one of the worst dressed females.
• Andre Leon Talley, the editor-at-large at Vogue magazine, showed up with tennis star Venus Williams.
• Best dressed of the night was the daughter of Vogue editrix Anna Wintour, Bee Schaffer.
• The two main after parties were at Phillipe for designer Nina Ricci and Amy Sacco's Bungalow 8 for the Armani party.
• Dinner at the event ended at 10:20, followed by dessert, then everyone went over to Phillipe around 10:50.
• At Phillipe, guests were served chicken rolls, shrimp cocktail, and duck.
• Spotted celebrities at Bungalow 8 included: actor and host of the main event George Clooney who was also celebrating his birthday, singer Andre 3000, Gossip Girls' Michelle Trachtenberg, actress Liv Tyler, DJ Paul Sevigny,
• There were "hood rats" camped outside of Bungalow 8 trying to take photos and get autographs from the celebrities inside.
• Apparently Gossip Girl star (and the love of our life here at MICAHJESSE.COM) Chace Crawford had trouble getting into the party, but our tipster is not 100% sure it was him.

If you haven't been living under a fashion rock, then by now you've heard about the latest exhibit in the Met's Costume Institute.  Entitled Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy, the exhibit officially opens Wednesday, May 7th but the annual Costume Institute Gala held tonight brought out celebrities, socialites, designers and fashion editors alike.  While we didn't select photos of everyone in attendance, we chose our favorites. We're not going to spout our opinions of the outfits because after all, fashion is subjective.  The real question is: Do they look like superheroes or super zeroes?

Ahaha!  Check out the black sharpie that's right behind Ivanka Trump's right arm (the only arm showing).  But when she turns around for the back shots, it's gone.  That's a good idea to carry around a sharpie for autographs, but can't she carry a clutch for necessities like those?

Either way, Ivanka still looks STUNNING while walking the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala last night in New York.

Sheesh. How about this party, huh? I'm Joan. Nice to meet you, Bernadette. So, what do you do? Oh, really - that's interesting, I'm also in the theatre. Well, just recently making my foray, really. I mean, I'm a writer, but I've just recently dramatized one of my memoirs. Yes, it's running on Broadway now. And I was just so stoked, because I said to the producer - he was begging me for like a year, he was a huge fan of the memoir, he was like, you have to put this up as a show, and I'm like, I don't know, I don't know - because it was about some very personal events in my life, you know? Like, I've just had a lot of shit go down recently, it's just been...anyway. So, it's so hard, isn't it? We have to be so revealing and sometimes you just think, enough! There's only so much I can give. But then, you think, I'm a writer, I'm an artist, I can't just, you know, squinch all up in my boudoir and hide from the world, right? We have to create, we must create, that's what we do. So, anyway, I said I'll do it, if...and this is a big if...Vanessa Redgrave has to do the part. Because I just...she is me, you know? I have always thought that she really just, we have this connection. So, he was like, Joan, I'll get her. I will get her. And he did, I'm happy to say. Soooo...anywhooo...the whole process has just been so therapeutic and wonderful for me. It's like, I have this whole new appreciation for you actors and you theatre people and what you do and who you are - it's amazing, isn't it? It's just this huge, brilliant, courageous, sparkling service you do for us all, really, isn't it, Bernadette? I mean, you sacrifice yourselves, you really do! Because the world is so- and pain- and we're all- and the human cost- and suffering and joy--- and whoosh- and laliday, too-too, I mean, really, bravo! Can I just applaud you right here?
