My ‘friends’ find this particularly amusing when I am wearing white socks. I’ve usually found it easy to shrug off their derogatory comments; but this morning I realised that their chirps may be cutting deeper that I know.

Because last night I had a dream.

I was fleeing the German WWII Panzers, and thought I was home and dry; until I heard the following exchange:

“Heinz! She iss gettink avay. After her!”

“Don’t vorry Klaus. I can see her. Ze shoes, zey are smilink at me.”

And the hype will ensue leading to the general election on November 4th, with the eye on the 1st Black President possibility. But, lets put Barack Obama into his own perspective AS WELL AS a historical perspective.

First, as for Obama himself. Barack Obama Jr. is not black. He is multi-racial. In an earlier time, he would be a mullato, and would have been discriminated against by the black race as much if not more than the Caucasians. Realistically, Obama is more white than black, if one wants to be specific. Though his "alleged" birth certificate lists his father as "African", Barack Obama Sr.'s birth record actually lists him as Arab. So we can just as easily say Obama would be our first Arab-American President, if elected.

From a historical perspective, there is a vast amount of information regarding the black lineage of several of our forefathers. In the book "Black People and Their Place In World History", Dr. Leroy Vaughn has a chapter entitled "Five Black Presidents."

The following is the excerpt of the chapter:

 Joel A. Rogers and Dr. Auset Bakhufu have both written books documenting that at least five former presidents of the United States had Black people among their ancestors. If one considers the fact that European men far outnumbered European women during the founding of this country, and that the rape and impregnation of an African female slave was not considered a crime, it is even more surprising that these two authors could not document Black ancestors among an ever larger number of former presidents. The president’s names include Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding, and Calvin Coolidge.

The best case for Black ancestry is against Warren G. Harding, our 29th president from 1921 until 1923. Harding himself never denied his ancestry. When Republican leaders called on Harding to deny the "Negro" history, he said, "How should I know whether or not one of my ancestors might have jumped the fence." William Chancellor, a White professor of economics and politics at Wooster College in Ohio, wrote a book on the Harding family genealogy and identified Black ancestors among both parents of President Harding. Justice Department agents allegedly bought and destroyed all copies of this book. Chancellor also said that Harding's only academic credentials included education at Iberia College, which was founded in order to educate fugitive slaves.

Andrew Jackson was our 7th president from 1829 to 1837. The Virginia Magazine of History Volume 29 says that Jackson was the son of a White woman from Ireland who had intermarried with a Negro. The magazine also said that his eldest brother had been sold as a slave in Carolina. Joel Rogers says that Andrew Jackson Sr. died long before President Andrew Jackson Jr. was born. He says the president's mother then went to live on the Crawford farm where there were Negro slaves and that one of these men was Andrew Jr's father. Another account of the "brother sold into slavery” story can be found in David Coyle's book entitled "Ordeal of the Presidency" (1960).

Thomas Jefferson was our 3rd president from 1801 to 1809. The chief attack on Jefferson was in a book written by Thomas Hazard in 1867 called "The Johnny Cake Papers." Hazard interviewed Paris Gardiner, who said he was present during the 1796 presidential campaign, when one speaker states that Thomas Jefferson was “a mean-spirited son of a half-breed Indian squaw and a Virginia mulatto father.” In his book entitled "The Slave Children of Thomas Jefferson," Samuel Sloan wrote that Jefferson destroyed all of the papers, portraits, and personal effects of his mother, Jane Randolph Jefferson, when she died on March 31, 1776. He even wrote letters to every person who had ever received a letter from his mother, asking them to return that letter. Sloan says, "There is something strange and even psychopathic about the lengths to which Thomas Jefferson went to destroy all remembrances of his mother, while saving over 18,000 copies of his own letters and other documents for posterity." One must ask, "What is it he was trying to hide?"

Abraham Lincoln was our 16th president from 1861 to 1865. J. A. Rogers quotes Lincoln's mother, Nancy Hanks, as saying that Abraham Lincoln was the illegitimate son of an African man. William Herndon, Lincoln's law partner, said that Lincoln had very dark skin and coarse hair and that his mother was from an Ethiopian tribe. In Herndon's book entitled "The Hidden Lincoln" he says that Thomas Lincoln could not have been Abraham Lincoln's father because he was sterile from childhood mumps and was later castrated. Lincoln's presidential opponents made cartoon drawings depicting him as a Negro and nicknamed him “Abraham Africanus the First."

Calvin Coolidge was our 30th president, and he succeeded Warren Harding. He proudly admitted that his mother was dark because of mixed Indian ancestry. However, Dr. Bakhufu says that by 1800 the New England Indian was hardly any longer pure Indian, because they had mixed so often with Blacks. Calvin Coolidge's mother's maiden name was "Moor." In Europe the name "Moor" was given to all Black people just as the name Negro was used in America.

All of the presidents mentioned were able to pass for White and never acknowledged their Black ancestry. Millions of other children who were descendants of former slaves have also been able to pass for White. American society has had so much interracial mixing that books such as “The Bell Curve”, discussing IQ evaluations based solely on race, are totally unrealistic.

Thus, if Obama is campaigning as the "Candidate of Change", let's make sure he changes the commentary, and takes "Race" out of the Presidential race. Remember, despite the claims that Bill Clinton threw down the race card in South Carolina (another mutated news blurb), it is Barack Obama who has consistently played the race card.... Sono un imprenditore calabrese che non si è piegato al racket, che ha denunciato, fatto arrestare e condannare decine di appartenenti al sistema `ndranghetista con le sue collusione all’interno delle Istituzioni. Inserito nel Programma Speciale di Protezione a partire dal 17 Ottobre 1997, portato via dalla Calabria e da allora sprofondato in un tunnel senza via d’uscita: in questi 11 anni non si contano i comportamenti omissivi tenuti dalle Istituzioni preposte alla mia protezione, contrari alla legge e prima ancora alla dignità della persona. Abbandonato al mio destino insieme con la mia famiglia, isolati, esiliati dalla propria terra, privati delle imprese edili e del proprio lavoro (mia moglie è un medico-odontoiatra).

Prima mi hanno tolto il pane, poi mi hanno tolto la libertà, infine la speranza. Dopo 11 lunghi anni di attesa e di fiducia nelle Istituzioni oggi devo ammettere che non ci sono le condizioni perché la mia famiglia continui a restare ancora in Italia considerando la situazione di abbandono e l’assenza dei settori preposti alla protezione, che sarebbe dovuta avvenire in modo vigile e costante nella località (per così dire) protetta.

La conclusione è che mi ritrovo facile bersaglio insieme alla mia famiglia della vendetta mafiosa, nell’allarmante contesto di ‘ndrangheta, acceso e dilagante.

Pertanto chiedo formalmente al Presidente del Consiglio Romano Prodi, al Ministro dell’Interno Giuliano Amato e al Viceministro dell’Interno Marco Minniti con delega alla Commissione Centrale ex art. 10 L. 82/91 di risolvere tempestivamente prima della consultazione elettorale la mia annosa vicenda, garantendo il diritto al lavoro e la sicurezza presente e futura per me e la mia famiglia.
Contemporaneamente chiedo formalmente ad una qualsiasi delle Nazioni dell’Unione Europea o altra Nazione l’ADOZIONE della mia famiglia, per mia moglie ed i miei due figli, perché si prenda cura di loro con la dovuta sicurezza.

Io no! Scelgo di rimanere nel mio paese, a rischio della vita, per proseguire la strada della denuncia civile e legale dell’impotenza delle Istituzioni, che alle parole non fanno seguire i fatti concreti e per raccontare la verità sulla lotta alla mafia in Italia: chi non scende a compromessi con le dinamiche mafiose deve essere fatto fuori, in un modo o nell’altro.

Lascio dunque in data odierna la località protetta per arrivare in Calabria ed affrontare quello che sarà il mio destino, mantenendo almeno fino in fondo la dignità che in questi anni ho difeso dagli attacchi prima della `ndrangheta e poi delle Istituzioni. Poi sarò davanti ai “Palazzi” di Roma e al TAR del Lazio dove giace vergognosamente arenato da più di tre anni il ricorso contro lo Stato che mi ha revocato ingiustamente il programma di protezione, che equivale alla condanna a morte.

Lo farò in giro per l’Italia, fiducioso di trovare al mio fianco i tanti cittadini, associazioni, gruppi e Meetup, le forze sane delle istituzioni e della politica che ho incontrato in questi lunghi anni, che condividono la mia scelta e che si riconoscono nei valori della legalità e della giustizia.

La COMMISSIONE PARLAMENTARE ANTIMAFIA, già nella scorsa legislatura, la quattordicesima, aveva analizzato ed esaminato approfonditamente “il caso dell’imprenditore Giuseppe Masciari”, riconoscendo le ragioni di quanto esposto, si rimanda ai seguenti documenti:

Approvazione della Relazione del Comitato TESTI del 9 marzo 2005- Resoconto Stenografico della 69° seduta del 14 giugno 2005 - approvazione della Relazione di Minoranza del 18 gennaio 2006, pag. 72 “Testimoni di giustizia: una risorsa umiliata”).

L’attuale COMMISSIONE PARLAMENTARE ANTIMAFIA, quindicesima legislatura, nella Seduta di martedì 19 febbraio 2008 ha approvato la Relazione annuale sulla ‘ndrangheta (Rel. On. Forgione) e la Relazione sui testimoni di giustizia (Rel. On. Napoli), che ha fatto emergere “le gravi cadute di efficienze del sistema di protezione dovute spesso a inettitudine, trascuratezza ed irresponsabilità” per questo “Lo Stato recuperi il terreno perso nei confronti di chi ha mostrato di possedere uno spirito civico esemplare”. Ha riconosciuto il rispetto dei diritti dei testimoni di giustizia, risorsa da premiare e non da umiliare. Nella relazione sulla `ndrangheta ha dichiarato la pericolosità mondiale di tale struttura criminale.

Le Istituzioni, la politica, Confindustria, raccolgono collezioni di buone intenzioni cui non seguono fatti concreti. Non ho bisogno di pacche sulle spalle, ma di sicurezza, impiego e futuro per me e soprattutto per la mia famiglia.

Se si permette che chi ha scelto di stare dalla parte della Giustizia maturi solo disagi diventando
esempio tangibile del fallimento di una rapida risposta dello Stato, ciò non rappresenta una sconfitta solo per Pino Masciari, ma una sconfitta per l’Italia intera, una vittoria per la `ndrangheta, che ha continuato e continua a fare imprenditoria moltiplicando i suoi guadagni, tanto è vero che in Calabria ha un bilancio di 35 miliardi di euro sporchi, mentre al sottoscritto non gli viene restituito il diritto di ritornare a fare l’imprenditore. Addirittura il Ministero dell’Interno con delibera del 28 luglio 2004, così afferma: “non consente di autorizzare il rientro del testimone di giustizia Masciari Giuseppe e del suo nucleo familiare nella località di origine ritenuto che sussistono gravi ed attuali profili di rischio”.

Una sconfitta per lo Stato Italiano, un messaggio devastante per chi domani si trovasse a decidere se denunciare o abbassare la testa di fronte alle intimidazioni mafiose. Confermo fino alla fine e con fermezza che non ho alcun rimpianto per ciò che ho fatto, perché ritengo che la denuncia sia atto doveroso di ciascun cittadino che appartenga ad uno Stato che possa ancora considerarsi di diritto.

然後我們就一起到我家驗證

站在雪地上(可見我們不在紐西蘭 是在北半球)
我對著天空大聲說...“聖誕老人 請你出現吧！！“

過了很久, 都沒動靜

以倫正準備開始笑我時
遠遠的天上突然閃了一下！
很快的, 拉著馴鹿車的聖誕老人從天邊飛到我們面前
當時還找相機要拍照

說真的, 在看到夢裡的聖誕老人時
心裡第一個想的是
“可口可樂真厲害, 竟然創造出這樣的形象“

聖誕老人給了他一顆巧克利蛋（這是復活節嗎...）
給了大姊一個生日禮物（是的！明天是她生日喔）
