Comienza el destripe de Hancock, avisidados estáis

Para mí Will Smith siempre crea espectativas y lo malo es que a veces decepciona (véase Soy Leyenda por ejemplo). Esto es en parte el caso de Hancock y digo en parte porque realmente podemos hablar de "partes" dentro de esta película.

Y es que Hancock para mí ha sido como ver 2 películas, 2 historias, que vale que tienen partes en común, pero que creo que la convierten en un todo desaprovechado.

En esta primera historia, tenemos la historia del superhéroe borracho, solitario, que no respeta nada ni a nadie. La gente le odia y prefiere que no actúe a que se dedique a salvarles. Personalmente pienso que la idea es genial y que Will Smith borda el personaje. En esta primera parte abunda la comedia (con algunos puntos bastante buenos) y cuya historia se centra en el cambio del personaje en convertirse en un modelo de héroe (o de superhéroe mejor dicho).

Sobre esta parte no tengo quejas, me dió todo lo que esperaba: risas, acción, efectos especiales a punta pala y un Hancock carismático. LLegados a este punto, John Hancock ya se ha convertido en un modelo de superhéroe y cae bien a los ciudadanos, y es cuando sucede el giro inesperado en el desarrollo de la película.

Descubrimos que la mujer de su amigo representante, Mary (interpretada por la guapísima Charlize Theron) tiene sus mismos poderes y es cuando comienza la segunda parte de la película.

En esta segunda parte, a pesar de comenzar con un par de escenas cómicas a la altura de la primera, abunda el drama que va haciéndose más y más marcado conforme avanza el film hasta su final. Ahora es como si todo lo que lleváramos visto no hubiera servido de mucho, y se nos presenta otra trama, otra historia, en la que averiguaremos el pasado de Hancock y  Mary (que desde su primera aparición nos hizo sospechar que algo había entre ellos). Así nos dan una pseudo-explicación del origen de la soledad de Hancock, sus poderes y la relación entre ambos, convirtiendo esta historia de héroes en una de amor/drama. Y para acabar tenemos el final, que en sí está bien y muy acorde con la línea seguida en esta segunda parte de la película.

Para mí el fallo de la película es claro: se han mezclado dos historias que por separado son buenas, y que podrían haber dado mucho juego (quizás para desarrollar 2 películas diferentes), pero que juntas me provocaron un efecto extraño a la salida del cine.

Y es que quizás hubiera sido mejor una película de Hancock simplemente reformándose y enfrentándose a un enemigo a su altura (como son todas las películas de superhéroes básicamente), centrada en comedia y acción, y con una resolución de su pasado solitario de otra forma. Por otro lado tenemos la historia de "héroes" que viven eternamente y que "fueron creados por parejas", que al juntarse se convierten en mortales, etc. Un argumento romántico que hubiera dado juego para desarrollar una película de otro estilo o una película de superhéroes pero sin meter el tema del superhéroe borracho antisocial...

Aún así la mezcla en sí tiene sentido en parte, pero el desarrollo es corto y/o confuso y no se llega a profundizar en nada dejando tocado todo muy por encima, y quizás sea eso lo que falla.

Podría haber sido algo muy grande (si hubiera aguantado el ritmo de la primera parte toda la película), pero tampoco se trata de un truño...

Lo peor: que los mejores puntos se habían visto en los trailers ya...

Bueno siguiente parada ya: The Dark Knight

As you might know the dark knight came out so first i watched a bit of that but next I watched a bit of another movie.

It was call Hancock but then my mom told my that I wasn't aloud to watch it.

So thought and thought for a good movie and I found one.

Your probably thinking why the tittle is WALL-E, well here's why ( as you might know all the movies are in theaters).

As I was saying the movie I found was the one and only WALL-E.

WALL-E is a movie about a little robot that is alone on earth ( and wants some one to be with )because all the humans went to outer space with a ship that was electronic ( even the chairs the whole thing, not even one thing was electronic except the humans and there also was tons of robots ).

Since all the humans were away the earth was polluted all over and poor WALL-E had to clean up the mess.

WALL-E was all alone with his pet until he found a plant but then a ship was landing. so WALL-E ran to it and then he found a robotic girl.

The robotic girl tried to fire at him but she always missed until they met each other ( same day they met ) and they went to WALL-E's house ( the girl's name is Eva ).

At his house he showed her around and he also showed her the plant and then something happened to the girl.

A few day's later a rocket ship landed ( the same one that I told you that landed before ) and took Eva away but WALL-E holedon to the ship and went with her to the ship that the...humans lived at.

Finally WALL-E and Eva tried to give the plant to the captain  but he was fighting one of his robots until he one and WALL-E and Eva gave the captain the plant and every body returned to earth and earth wasn't polluted any more.

Until 'Lost' is back (I misssss you my sweet Lost) Heroes, 'The Office: An American Workplace' and 'Mock the Week' are keeping me going. Mock the Week was on TV last night. Woo-hoo! I think Ross posted this clip from last week's show on his tumblr blog the other day, but it is really, really funny, so I'm posting it here too. It's Russell Howard summing up the papers perfectly :-) It's funny because its true. 

All of the regular comedians from the show are brilliant. We went to see Frankie Boyle at the Hackney Empire last month where they were filming for his new dvd. He was totally hilarious (I was so so so glad we weren't sitting in the first few rows though because he does like a bit of 'audience participation' and I would have been so embarrassed). He does tend to repeat the jokes from the TV show on his live show, or maybe its the other way 'round, but either way he's still incredibly funny. 

Also, we went to see Hancock this week. I really loved it. I pretty much love all Will Smith films. I think he is hilarious and I do like a film with a happy ending. We want to see Wall-E and The Dark Knight next. Why are films like buses, for months nothing good comes out, then they all come along at once.

With the successful opening weekend of The Dark Knight, the Batman franchise has returned with both popular and critical acclaim.  Perhaps the memories of the final Joel Schumacher-helmed, George Clooney-starring Batman & Robin can now be safely tucked away. It's been a rollercoaster ride for The Batman to be sure. An iconic comic book that became a campy TV show, only to be resurrected in the mid-80s by Frank Miller and his seminal Dark Knight graphic novel. Yes, let's remember that it was Frank Miller's genius that set the stage for the Tim Burton/Michael Keaton/Jack Nicholson movie.  But Batman soon found himself the object of scorn once again as the movies became charicatures.

Now Batman seems to have returned to its darker side, a more serious, more violent persona. This character/franchise arc reminds me of another iconic hero - James Bond.

Bond started out as a truly unique character that defined a genre, and an era. But as the Roger Moore-Bond faded into the sunset the franchise seemed done. It bounced back with Pierce Brosnan, only to once again lose its way as the gadget and stunts overwhelmed what had always been the real source of the Bond franchise's strength - the villains (and sidekicks). Blofeld, Jaws, Odd Job, Pussy Galore, Goldfinger. All more memorable than Timothy Dalton's Bond (or George Lazenby's for that matter).

But once again Bond is back thanks to Daniel Craig and a return to a grittier, more violent Bond.

Which brings us to Superman. Every bit as iconic as Batman and Bond, if not more so. For many (most?) people in the world, if they were asked to name one superhero, it would be Superman. The Christopher Reeve-Superman reintroduced the character (much like the Keaton-Batman) but it too devolved into camp and parody (Richard Pryor?), again much like the Batman movies of the 80s/90s and the Bond films of the late-90s/early 00s.

But here's where Batman and Bond made a critical choice. Those franchises were reimagined to be grittier, more real and more authentic feeling. Perhaps it is because these two characters are human and could therefore return 'to their roots.' The change was dramatic. When you see the Dark Knight or Casino Royale you realize you are seeing something clearly different from what you had seen before.  With Superman Returns the change wasn't great enough. It wasn't that it was a bad movie, but you don't hear anyone talking about the Superman movie franchise. What could they have done? Well, it wouldn't work now because of Hancock, but what about making Will Smith Superman? Here's a guy who is box office gold internationally and could have completely re-invented the character. That would have been a really bold move and totally broken away from all the baggage of the Superman character.

Another example: Star Wars.  The three prequels made money, but in many ways hurt the creative integrity of the franchise.  I'm very interested to see how the animated Clone Wars movie will be received. This is a dramatic change and clearly a departure from the previous theatrical efforts.  Grant McCracken posted today about the X-Files movie (yet another example of a franchise with a challenge). He sees the history of the X-Files as a burden that has stultified the creativity and freshness of the franchise.  I agree with him and would have like to have seen a dramatic change for the new movie.

Además, este filme, que se estrenó el pasado viernes 18 de julio en España y en el que Smith encarna a un superhéroe alcohólico, patoso e incomprendido, ha logrado la mayor rentabilidad por copia de este 2008, con más de 10.100 euros recaudados por cada una de ellas.

El nuevo estreno de Will Smith ha logrado hasta el momento más de 370 millones de dólares en todo el mundo y compite en las salas de exhibición españolas con otras superproducciones como Kung Fu Panda o Las Crónicas de Narnia: el Príncipe Caspian.

Am fost aseară la film. Mi se părea drăguţă şi pozitivă povestea cu super eroi, faptul că protagoniştii erau interpretaţi de Will Smith şi Charlize Theron aducea un plus, iar intervenţia unui specialist în relaţii publice a fost cireaşa de pe tort. Pentru a fi sigura de valoarea filmului, am intrat pe imdb.com - nota era mare, 6,8. Buuun. Ajung la cinema. Acolo, era ceva de nedescris creat de avanpremiera la Batman. The Dark Knight. Nici floricele nu am putut lua din cauza cozilor interminabile.

Am văzut filmul. Dezamăgire profundă. Un subiect prost ales, fără nicio profunzime, interpretare lejeră a actorilor, asta a însemnat Hancock. Filmul nu a avut nicio legătură cu acţiunile tipului de personaj interpretat. După părerea mea, nota pe care o merită pe imdb.com, trebuia să fie sub 4. Nu recomand nimănui să vadă acest film. M-am aşteptat ca Hancock să salveze lumea, m-am aşteptat să fie un mesaj pozitiv. Filmul este o adunătură de elemente din Highlander, Superman şi Bad Boys. Nimic spectaculos, nimic de reţinut.

Oare cei care au realizat acest film sunt mulţumiţi de ceea ce le-a ieşit? Sau se fac filme aşteptând să fie încasări, spunând că există o super poveste, interpretată de actori consacraţi. Părerea mea e că aceasta nu reprezintă totul. Iar parte din public, mare cred eu, poate fi dezamăgită.

PS. Lasa că mă duc săptămâna viitoare la Batman. Să vedem ce-o fi... :)

 Ontem, depois de vários ensaios, fui assistir a Hancock, novo filme do Will Smith. A história de um super-herói vagabundo e odiado parecia ser demais. O filme começa explorando esse lado de forma muito bem humorada, mas... Bom, não vou dar uma de spoiler e contar o resto. Só acho que esse lado anti-herói de Hancock deveria ser muito melhor explorado e os roteirista desperdiçaram a chance de fazer um filme muito mais divertido, se é a isso que ele se propõe e vende desde o início

Hmm, det borde vara lättare att säga att den var bra. Jag menar, den var inte dålig. Det var ju inte lika dålig som... ska vi säga... Hulken eller Superman (två filmer jag blev rätt besviken på). Men den var inte bra heller.

Okej, inledningen var bra. Bra intro på Hancock.

Men efter att Hancock hade blivit en good guy, då fanns der verkligen ingenstans för filmen att gå. Och även om vändningen med frun var oväntad, så ledde det aldrig till nivån som början var på. Och sen blev det bara pannkaka av alltihop. Ingen skurk att tala om. Jag menar, här har vi en superhjälte (så mycket tänker jag inte förstöra ifall det är någon som inte har sett filmen) och vem är skurken? En vanlig människa utan några särskilda vapen och en krok istället för högerhand - samt två komiska bifigurer, varav den ena har haft häcken full, kanske man kan säga.

Det är ju det filmer lever på: skurkarna. Man tycker ju att de borde ha fattat det, efter Stjärnornas krig, När lammen tystnar (som ju har två, för sjutton gubbar), Terminator 1 och 2, Pirates of the Caribbean, och hundratals andra filmer. Det är mer och mer tydligt att de behöver Manusförfattarens guide (Vulkan.se). Jag får översätta den, helt enkelt.

Quando me toquei disso, fiquei até um pouco mal humorado, pois sabia que haveria bagunça na sala! Quando li esse texto do Cesar Cardoso, me toquei que a sessão foi extremamente silenciosa dado o volume de adolescentes presentes e não tinha me tocado disso.

De duas uma, o filme é bom demais (como salientou o César) ou então as coisas estão mudando. Tomara!

The last few minutes are chick flickish but the rest is all action all the way.  Totally woth seeing.

Well... now that you know what I've been doing for the past week or so, let's get to the post!

Remember how I said I was going to talk about the movies I saw and Mx0? Well... the movies are a few weeks old now, so I decided I'd just list what movies I saw and give my general opinion on them. And no, I haven't seen Dark Knight yet.

Get Smart: The ads and everything pretty much spoiled the comedy. The action was pretty decent. Oh and, Anne Hathaway was pretty hot in this one =P

Wall-E: Disney's version of Inconvenient Truth. Sadly and unfortunately, I can actually see the world ending up like in the movie (People are overly obese - and that means EVERYONE, robots pretty much do everything for us..., we'll have to be sent out on a ship and live in space FOREVER - so that was just an exaggeration =P). Other than that, I found it to be very cute and heartwarming. Disney still hasn't lost their touch.

Wanted: This movie has so much action, it's ridiculous. I remember reading somewhere that it was sort of like Black Lagoon and was thinking that it describes this movie pretty well. Imagine a live action of Black Lagoon (Samuel L. Jackson as Dutch FTW =P) with all the action and none of the character development. As entertaining as it would be, it wouldn't have the same depth. But on the plus side, the characters are supposed to speak English, so things wouldn't be as confusing. Anyway, think of Wanted as a shallow version of Black Lagoon.

Hancock: A new twist to the superhero genre. And I found it to be pretty decent. What I liked was that it portrayed Hancock as a human, rather than just a superhero fighting crime and all that. So I say Hancock is awesome for that.

Now, time to talk about Mx0. I went into reading this expecting romance with a magical background. Man was I wrong. It's more like... magic with a little romance. Basically, it was a disappointment with what I was expecting. Sigh. And when I was near the end, I was like... OH MANS. HOW THEY GONNA END THIS? The ending was very... meh. SPOILERS (You have been warned): First of all, he doesn't get the girl. Second of all, they just send him to another magic school and the last that you see of him is him training. Ugh. They could've at least done a 6 months later thing showing what he learned or something. Or even better, they could surprise us all with a season 2. Though, all of the comedy comes from him not being able to use magic.

Next post will probably be about Gundam Battle Universe or something. Or I'll talk to you about two manga series I decided to re-read. Or even... BOTH!

Y yo sé por qué lo digo.

Hablemos de cine. ¿Sabíais que existe una película llamada Hancock? ¿No? ¿Vivís en este planeta? Porque yo he jurado que como vea un anuncio más de esa película en televisión, en la calle, en el periódico, o en Internet, voy a comer durante tres días sin parar para poder así vomitar todo lo que quiero vomitar.

Pero por favor, veamos el trailer:

¡Qué suspense! ¿No te entran ganas de ir a verla? ¿No? Ah, eso es que tienes dos dedos de luces.

Yo me pregunto: ¿Por qué tengo tan claro que esta película será el taquillazo del verano sin ser vidente? ¿Por qué la gente va a verla después de ver el trailer? ¿Acaso no salta a la vista que es un pedazo de mierda? ¿A la gente le gusta la coprofagia? ¿O sencillamente es ESTÚPIDA?

Ya no me refiero a la comercialidad o a la escasa calidad evidentes de la película (así como la calidad interpretativa del actor protagonista, que pongo en duda abiertamente), es que... ¡el trailer muestra claramente que la película es una mierda! Uuuuh, una película sobre un superhéroe que no quiere serlo protagonizada por Will Smith: JÁ JÁ.

¿Somos así de imbéciles? ¿No nos basta con tragarnos todo lo que nos echen? ¿Además tenemos que aceptar que sea malo? Porque si el público se pusiera un poquito más exigente, en los cines de mi provincia habría al menos una sala que proyectara películas que no fueran estadounidenses o el último taquillazo patrio, habitualmente de calidad más que cuestionable.

¡Pues yo la he visto y está mu chula! ¿Soy tonto por eso? Sí joder, ¿es que no te has enterado de nada?

Critics absolutely hated Will Smith's latest star vehicle Hancock, but moviegoers -- myself included -- loved it, as evidenced by the $195 million worth of ticket sales it's grossed so far domestically. Hancock is Smith's eighth consecutive $100 million grossing film, and he's the first Hollywood actor to accomplish this feat. So it comes as no surprise when Forbes named him Hollywood's best-paid actor:

Smith leads the pack of Hollywood's best-paid actors, banking an estimated $80 million over the course of the year. Frequently called the hardest-working man in Hollywood, Smith has proved that no matter the genre -- be it sci-fi thriller (Warner Bros.' "I Am Legend") or sappy drama (Sony's "The Pursuit of Happyness") -- he can deliver an audience.

Coming in second place was Capt. Jack Sparrow himself, Johnny Depp, earning an estimated $72 million. Tying for third are Shrek co-stars Eddie Murphy and Mike Myers, each earning an estimated $55 million. So it looks like the colossal failures of Meet Dave and The Love Guru won't put these guys in the poor house anytime soon.

Fuck, man, $80 million? Gots to stay on the grind.

Watched Jaane Tu - which was decent timepass. Paresh Rawal stole the show and some of the one-liners were pretty darned funny. The next day, we had dinner at one of the best Italian eateries I've ever been to - Little Italy. Don't miss their spinach dip. And all their pastas were out of this world. But the post-dinner movie - Hancock - truly sucked. Will Smith disappointed, the script totally bombed and the fx were cheesy. Man, I'm still reeling from the aftershocks of this movie. To atone for this sin, am planning to watch Dark Knight today with my study group. And if it's as good as the IMDB ratings make it out to be, I will go again and watch it on an IMAX screen with my wife.

E olha que entrar pra essa lista não é fácil, ainda mais nos preços indecentes dos DVDs em lançamento.

Os produtores acertaram em cheio com os trailers, mas o filme não é só aquilo, graças à Oscar! O que aparece nos trailers é apenas a primeira meia hora de filme, muito legal, mas o filme transforma-se completamente, e depois mostra mais transformações no decorrer da película. Se ainda não viu, corra, esse filme deve ser assistido num telão!

Não espere mais do mesmo, esse filme é diferente, e por isso é excelente.

O meu review acabou na linha de cima e sempre faço a mesma coisa, acabo de escrever, e justamente para meu texto não ser influenciado, vou ler o review do Omelete sobre o filme em questão, nesse caso o Hancock. Sempre fui fã dos reviews deles, coisa de profissional, que eu invejo um dia escrever igual, mas sinceramente, desta feita eles me surpreenderam, e diferente do filme, não se superaram e sim estragaram um belo review de um ótimo filme. Creio que quem já assistiu o filme, tenha a mesma opinião que a minha em relação ao review. Diz aí Kadu!

Ok hij was dan aan drank en drugs verslaafd, maar naart schijnt was deze rol emotioneel te zwaar voor hem. Hij leefde zich te hard in, en aangezien het de rol van een intense slechterik is, viel het hem zwaar om daar mee te leven. En heeft hij zelfmoord gepleegd...
Tis niet omdat een jonge Hollywood-hotshott zeneigen heeft dood gedaan da ge hem direct moet ophemelen, maar hij was imho toch een heel goeie acteur en deze rol is een waardige afsluiter geweest. Hij zal hierdoor nog lang herinnerd worden.

Anyhow, na de film ben ik nog naar het centrum afgezakt. De Gentse Feesten zijn cool!!!
Waar anders in de wereld kun je zwaar feesten midden tussen de middeleeuwse kerken? Die duveltent is echt ideaal gelegen, en je komt er altijd bekend volk tegen (Yow Filip! :). Alleen wel stom dat dat daar om 3u sluit. De omwoners zullen hun nachtrust willen zeker? Soit, normaal gezien is de Vlasmarkt the final place to be, maar ik heb dan toch besloten om al naar huis te gaan. Ik moet wel pas om 14u beginnen te werken, maar ik wou toch nog een beetje veel slapen indien mogelijk, want tis nogal vermoeiend geweest vandeweek! ;)

PS: ik moet echt leren om na het sluiten van mijn fiets ook daadwerkelijk men fietssleutel uit het slot te halen. :s Da is nu al den tweede keer da me da overkomt. Ja ok, men fiets is op slot, ma als iemand wa beter kijkt..., en we leven tenslotte in een studentenstad waar fietsen pikken een dagelijkse realiteit is, en ws tijdens de GF nog meer... Maja, kheb weeral eens hoerechance gehad e, hij stond er nog :)
Van hoerechance gesproken, een bevriend koppel heeft vandeweek int glazen straatje 70€ gevonden... Daar hebben ze dan me 4 van op restaurent geweest alvorens naar de GF te togen. nice toch eh :)

PPS: Hancock ruled ook stevig, leuke film! En Will Smith blijft een van men favo acteurs.

PPPS: Ik moet terug regelmatiger gaan drinken :P ik heb echt ni veel gedronken, maar merkte het wel al rap... Da werken is toch voor niets goed e ;)

3. Que no era una peli tan mala como podría esperarse (opinión unánime de los tres que fuimos).
4. Que hasta tiene algo de contenido moral y con aprendizaje humano.
5. Que se pueden hacer "pastelones" sobre un "superheroe" y que gusten a chicos y a chicas.
6. Que no salió (o no la vi) ni una sola bandera americana ondeante (aunque de esto algo podríamos hablar sobre la mascota del héroe).

Divertida y aconsejable... pero sin tratar de que sea la segunda parte de Casablanca!!

The most exciting release is The Dark Knight – WOAH! YEAH! - the new Batman movie. But some films are transcendental experiences that can only be shared softly with one’s lover. The Dark Knight is such a film. It would be an act of betrayal to see it without Andrew. Not only that, it would be disrespectful. Some philistines might suggest that Andrew and I can always see the film again, together. No. That first viewing, watching a film unfold like unwrapping a gift, is special. Watching it again is not the same. The magic is diluted. The sparkle is dimmed.

Yesterday I found out that Andrew is going to see The Dark Knight with David. Talk about an act of betrayal. Now my only concern is seeing it first, so that I can call Andrew and tell him the ending.

I’ve held off going to see Hancock for several weeks now. The trailers were so promising. Will Smith is as funkadelic as ever. But the critics spanked it. Rotten Tomatoes rated it 38%. The last movie to score less than that was A Chicken Ate My Baby.

Of course I have to see Get Smart because I was such a fan of the original TV Show:-

RTE1 used to show Get Smart on Saturday mornings. Mind you, there wasn’t anything else on telly on Saturday mornings, apart from Sesame Street. Of course, Sesame Street was always engaging, especially Count Dracula: 'Vun! A! A! A!' But I watched Get Smart even though I didn't have a crush on Don Adams.

I might have to go and check out Mamma Mia. Initially I was extremely put off – I might even go so far as to say REPELLED – by the poster featuring Meryl Streep in a pair of dungarees. I’m as big a fan of Meryl as anyone – although she never quite made my Top 10 Lesbian List – but the woman is getting on a bit for dungarees. Hell, I’m getting on a bit for dungarees, and I’m half the woman’s age. Probably.

I’ve heard the film is good. Some are even saying it’s better than good. So I might have to check it out in the interests of the prevailing of truth over lies and deceit.

And, of course, in the interests of personal gratification

Auch, wenn es sicherlich nicht zu unseren Favoriten zählt gingen wir auf eine Runde Pool ins Köö. Einen Vorteil hat das Köö sehr wohl - es ist genau im selben Gebäude, wo wir heute noch ins Kino gehen werden - im Donauplex.

Nach drei Runden stand eines fest: wir können beide nicht mehr wirklich Pool spielen, oder schöner Formuliert: wir sind beide mächtig aus der Übung. Das Endergebnis von 2:1 für den Ralf wurde in jeder Runde vom jeweiligen Verlierer durch einlochen der 8 bestimmt. Armselig oder?

Zum Glück war es schon kurz vor 20 Uhr und wir mussten dieses Trauerspiel abbrechen und uns ins Kino begeben. Die Tatsache, dass das Kino im Donauplex nicht das Highlight ist war mir durchaus bewusst, aber, dass die Armlehnen aus Metall waren konnte ich mich beim besten Willen nicht erinnern - aus irgendeinem Grund fehlte bei meinem Sitz eine Armlehne - mensch Leute - wollt ihr das nicht mal Reparieren?

Hancock war, auf Empfehlung einiger Freunde, heute die Wahl. Im Grunde gebe ich den Empfehlungen recht - ein durchaus gelungener Film, der den Spagat zwischen verschiedenen Genres vortrefflich meistert. Vor allem hat mir gefallen, dass der gesamte Film auch ein wenig darauf ausgelegt ist die klassischen Heldenfilme ein wenig aufs Korn zu nehmen.

Einzig das Ende war für mich ein wenig zu dick aufgetragen. Für mich war der Film an der Stelle, wo Hancock überlebt und sie sich für ihn geopfert hat zu Ende. Der Rest danach wirkt irgendwie nach einem krampfhaft draufgebutterten Happy End...

Nach dem Film beschlossen wir den Abend bei einem gemütlichen Cocktail ausklingen zu lassen. Die mexikanische Cocktailbar wurde auserwählt. Nette atmosphere, aber für meinen Geschmack etwas zu laute Musik (wobei ich dahingehend etwas empfindlicher bin als so manch Anderer). Nun ja wir unterhielten uns und aus dem Cocktail wurden zwei ehe wir uns auf den Heimweg machten...
