So I writed even MORE last night.  But only like a little less than 2,000 words more.  You know, in the book, Stephen King says that 2,000 words is 10 pages.  So, that means that I have a good, oh,  60 pages.  Now isn't that cool!
I find it cool.

Anyway!

I have no idea what's going to happen next, and don't ask what it's about, because I really don't know.  I mean I kinda know what it's about, but really I don't.  I just started with this little idea and ran with it.  So, you see, it sort of happens as I write it.  Which is cool, because it takes little thought really, just typing.

Anyway!  New topic this time!

My dad got a wood permit this morning.  That means I have to wake up tomorrow morning, and actually get up for something.  So, we have to go at least "exploring", he said.  Well, anyway, eventually, we're going to have to go and actually go woodcutting.  Meaning it's gonna be cold, and probably colder as the  months go on of course, and then have to do all the stuff that goes with that.
I really don't like it.  Simply because it's cold, and it's early in the morning (9, 10, 11, in the morning, when I don't have to be up, is early, okay?) and it's painful and all my muscles are sore afterward and it's a pain in the back and knees and legs!  For reals.

Okay well I'm hungry, so I'm gonna go eat lunches.  I'll probably have some great things to share later.

On Monday I spent most of the day up at the yard.  The vet came to check on Penny's teeth and it turns out there was still a tiny bit of tooth where her wolf teeth had been taken out.  So hopefully that will make a difference.  She also had her teeth rasped again so she had a full tooh mot.  As she was sedated I also pulled her mane which was getting ridiculously long (yes, I'm a very mean mummy) so she's now looking all smart again.

And then yesterday I was up and awake about 2 hours before anybody else which generally happens on my birthday as I get far too excited!  I got my present off Bas in the morning which was a pair of shoes I actually spotted when I was in town with Oli the other week and absolutely fell in love with but they are by Guess and rather pricey.  Well they are now mine, they fit and they are the most beautiful shoes in the world!

Mommy did her blog then we headed into town for birthday shopping!

First we went for dim sum for lunch which was just delicious though we all ate too much and felt rather fat!  We then headed into town and I got some lovely scaves and a very cool hate from my Mommy and I got myself some more ear-rings, because I'm addicted.  We then headed into the market with the sole purpose of getting fish for paella for the evening.  Could we find the fish stalls!  We walked up and down the entire market about 5 times and of course all the fish stalls were on the very last isle that we tried.  But we got some mussels and prawns and as the squid didn't look too appealling thought we'd try the octopus.

Once back home me and Mum then headed straight back out again to go and see Penny.  There is actually a bus that nearly goes door to door to the new yard which makes things very handy.  Although we did manage to get off one stop too early.  Penny came and had a chat and her and Jamaica argued over carrots (which Jamaica won, Penny knows her place).  Then we just sat and watched them for about half an hour, including Penny nearly falling in the ditch trying to flirt with the boys on the other side of it.  One of which had dreadlocks... honestly, she's such a tramp.  She's looking very nice and relaxed though so am hoping some weight is going to pile onto her now she's got some time outside to munch 24 hours a day.

Once back home we opened the bubbly (which was pink of course, it was MY birthday afterall) and started cooking the paella.  Mum was very pathetic with the octopus and said she couldn't cut it up because it looked like a baby!  She must have seen some very strange babies in her time :) Anyway, it turns out the octopus is not as nice in paella as squid, it just doens't have enough flavour.  But the saffron we got was really good stuff so it was a lovely lovely mean.  Too much wine was drunk again (not a theme for the last 4 days, honestly) and I thoroughly enjoyed myself, it was great!

Well, I've been holding back.
A lot.
Because I didn't want some people to know.  Because I was scared of what they would think/say/do.  Because I didn't want to make some people angry or whatever.  Because....Well, because I'm scared.
I don't know, it's just all confusing, so I tried to keep it all to myself and do the HINT HINT HINT thing, but without saying the HINT HINT HINT part, just doing it.  And it's obviously not working well enough.
So, I haven't decided yet,  and I've been trying to the whole time I've been writing this, but it's not going all that well.
Which sucks, because I was SO ready to just spill.
And now I'm not!  It's so confusing on top of it all.

And now that I got distracted, I'm not even on the same topic.  Sorry, after saying the confusing on top ofit all part, I went and read something else and singing to songs and IMing like I always do and got distracted.  You know, I miss the days when I could sit and just write a blog post.  I haven't been able to do that in a while.  Oh well, I should try it again.
Oh you wanna know what I decided?
I'm normal.  I'm fine.  Perfectly fine.  That's what I decide.  I mean, there can't be anything wrong with me,  can there?  I can function just fine, I think.  Sure, I see things sometimes that aren't there, but oh well.  Sure I have insane amounts of energy some days, but people can do that with energy drinks.  And the down-times?  Well, like, my mommy told me when I first brought up the issue of mentally-illness, everyone fits those descriptions sometimes......

If you haven't already, meet Janelle Monae.  She's a Kansas City native, has a new album that was just released, and I have dubbed her the feminine counterpart to Andre 3000 of Outkast.  If you pull up any pictures of her, chances are you'll find her in a heavily tailored tuxedo and saddle shoes, or something I could only define as cyber-afro-punk.  Her music isn't much different.  It's a good thing.  A very good thing. 

I love people who are comfortable enough with themselves to bump the trend in favor of their own thing.  It's watching confidence personified.  Janelle is definitely one of those people, and I got to see her perform (read: open for Raphael Saadiq) at the Roxy last night (YAY ME!!!).  I've been checking for her since 2006 and always wondered what she was like on stage.  Once I saw that she was going to be in L.A., I got tickets immejiately.

First off, I've never seen someone with so much energy on a stage.  Seriously.  Secondly, she can sing pretty damn well.  The clip below doesn't really do her voice justice, but you'll get a feel of what her show is like:

I started yet another city on Sim City 4 last night.  This one's going well.  It's like on this big mountain I made, and it's pretty cool.  And then on the other side of the square of land there's this nice big lake or whatever, so I made a road and a beach so there's that there.  And then like a school and all that stuff.  It's going well.  I was amazed cuz the first one I did was going way too fast and all these problems were coming up and it was like oh my god this is too much!  But this one was good.  I think I'll be going back to it tonight....;)

I have a new buddy on here too..... ;)  I have to get the scoop from them about stuff, and I guess we shall learn a lot!
