Finally - the video has been located. Again, and unfortunately, the five part semi-autobiographical documentary from Force Multiplication formerly WorldWarThreeNews is posted only at Live Video.

John's description of the documentary:

The Armageddon Ritual and the subsequent control of the world is the end goal of the Talmudists and their co-conspirators. I reveal not only my identity but the important role occult agents play for and against the Owners. Denver Airport, Project Monarch and the Freemasonic link to mass hypnosis and mind control is touched on. Analysis of several films and the subliminal messages and mind control triggers contained in them is given as supporting evidence. The true identity of Semites, Jews, Aryans or Aries is given to bring a fuller understanding to that Joshua (Jesus the Christ) was called a Jew. The misuse of Christianity and other religions and spiritual teachings to enslave mankind is railed against. The Freemasonic Lodge of Cowards, Criminals and Jews, as well as the Knights Templar, are called out as useless boils upon the land; a den of vipers and a pack of wolves. The identity of the Antichrists (plural) is presented in glaring detail. Linguistics and etymology are covered throughout as a means of understanding how the Owners have deceived the whole of the world. The coming age of the rule of the Technocracy is shown through blatant facts as well as synchronistic clues.

1 John 5:1-5 1.Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves

1 John 5:1-5 1.Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2.This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3.This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4.for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5.Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

The walk of a follower of Christ is a difficult one. The simple fact that we're saved makes Satan work all the harder to have us slip. All it takes is One Slip to fall off track. Resulting in obsession, addiction, and wallowing in what tempted you in the first place. Staying true to God is an immense feat, ranging from not insulting people to not sleeping with random people, and anything in between and beyond. I guarantee the temptor will make himself easily known when things begin to take a turn for the worse. He will not mask his intentions. You will easily be able to acknowledge the fact that Satan is attempting to stray you from the path of God (A road already narrow to begin with). Even though it will be easily noticed, many will continue to indulge in the sins Satan offers them. A Gentile would care less about what God would think about them. Taking satisfaction during the act, but feeling remorse after fornication...remorse, guilt, displeasure after partaking in the act. A person of the world would have no reason to feel such things. They see that they comand their life and worship the ways of the world. Loving in what pleases them to see, taking satisfaction in what is done with the flesh, and taking pride in what they have...three sins of the world that would, in no way, be surpassable without faith. Faith is the victor that vanquishes the three. Faith and love in Christ. The faith that has us take into consideration what He has done. Applying it to our life because He has commanded it. So why do we follow in what He has commanded? Love. The love that is felt for our Saviour. If you love someone, wouldn't you do what they say? "I really want to go eat here instead honey, is that okay?" "Sure, why not". Taking into consideration what your loved one says shows how you feel about them. We follow His commandments because we love Him. There is a lot of fake love out there that consists of one party getting the better end of the deal. Many people would claim God doesn't deserve it. "Sure, God took my successful business away and I'm suppossed to thank him? Yeah, I'll get on that." A man like this was probably only living for himself to begin with. Not many successful businesses run a clean operation. They take out the small prey to obtain more for their own self gain. And Justice For All. He is a Just God, not only Loving. A parent can't expect to be a good parent if they aren't just. If no justice is served, then your undoubtfully gonna get a little brat who wants everything hand fed to him. (Sorry, got a little off topic there)

Anyway, we follow His commandments because we love Him. Many do claim to love Him, yet fail to follow the most important commandment (talked about in this passage and throught the whole book). Love the Lord with all your heart. This directs you to love others. Such tasks should be done with delight and not grief. Another passage that has to deal with this is 1John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. The word that I want to stress is 'ought' meaning 'should'. The word 'ought' implying that it is more of a duty. A police officer 'should' keep the law, but it is very well known that many form deals with the criminal to for self-gain. People 'ought' to treat each other with respect, but you don't need me to tell you how miserably this is failing. The Brits and French can get along after hundreds of years of rivalery, why can't America follow suit? The WORLD pardoned the actions of Germany, yet you have every ethnic group viciously attacked by whatever rival. The word 'ought' in this passage does not imply that it should be duty, but a nature. As described in an earlier passsage: 1John 4:7,8 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God. He that loves not does not know God; for God is love. Everyone that is born of HIm loves. That comes with the New Birth (accepting Christ as Saviour). If you know HIm, then it is second nature to love. For when you accept Christ, He abides in you. This results in love being second nature. As a bird's nature is to fly, a fish's nature is to swim, a human's nature is to breathe. Thusly, there should be no grief in the voice of a follower of Christ when asked to serve. Naturally, any person, saved or not, would moan, groan, or complain when performing a task they would rather not do, but sticking with it still shows the love nonetheless.

This post courtesy of Pastor John Piper. This post wouldn't be made possible without listening to a sermon of his that dealt completely with this, titled "Regeneration, Faith, Love: In That Order". I do not take full credit for everything in this post for it is mostly a reillustration of what he said, only with a few of my own views of it.

I’ve found a new (well, new to me) blog that’s doing a bible study “small group

I've found a new (well, new to me) blog that's doing a bible study "small group" on-line. Looks like they might have to "birth" a new group pretty soon if they're going to keep the moniker small, but I want to give it a try. If you'd like to try, too, or if you're part of the group and would like to go back there, click here.

The study text for this week is Romans 3:9-20, in which Paul is talking about Jews and Gentiles.

Verse 9

Paul has just been talking about the advantages of being a Jew, and Paul is a Jew, so his question might also be put, "Are we Jews any better than the Greeks (or Gentiles)?" Paul's point is that though Jews have had and have certain special advantages, Jews and Gentiles are both under sin. Without the saving grace of God in Jesus Christ, we are all alike condemned by our own sinfulness. Today we don't have such a tension between Jews and Greeks as was evident in Paul's day, but we do have different social beliefs, differing ethnic identities, various political affiliations. We are all in the same predicament without Christ, however, so we are none of us better or worse than anyone else.

Verse 10

Being a Jew (or an Evangelical or a Catholic or a Presbyterian, etc.) is of no advantage whatsoever when we fail to seek God. Without Him, none of us has any righteousness. We can't make ourselves worthy to be called God's people.

Verse 11

No one understands (on his own). No one seeks God (again, on his own). We don't even have the goodness to seek God of our own volition. Jesus said, "No man can come to Me unless the Father Who sent Me draws him." (John 6:44)

Verse 12

All have fallen away, both Jew and Greek, and become unprofitable (the word means spoiled or putrid). None do good. The word good or chrestotes denotes moral excellence. We all, whatever our religious affiliation, like to think of ourselves as morally excellent. The truth is that neither Christian nor heathen nor follower of any religion or no religion can lay claim to moral excellence. That is God's alone to confer and that by His grace alone.

Verse 13

A sepulcher, opened, can stink so badly that it has been known, in enclosed places, to kill. Is that the odor of our words to God? Graves were considered unclean by Hebrews--even walking over one would make one ceremonially unclean. The unclean words we speak make our throats comparable to an open grave. Not just outright lies, but any intentional deceit make our words unclean and poisonous. But there are many poisonous, slanderous, unlovely things we can and too often do allow our mouths to speak. No doubt Paul was speaking of other sins in addition to those that can be committed with the lips, but it is interesting that he chooses to mention this one first. The tongue is "set on fire by Hell". (James 3:6)

Verse 14

Another phrase necessary that we all take to heart. Is my mouth full of cursing and bitterness when, for example, someone cuts me off on the way to work? Or maybe when it rains and I had been planning to work outdoors? This isn't Godly behavior and it does nothing for our mood or our witness. That's not to say we need to always be meek and mild to everyone whatever the situation, by the way. Jesus wasn't meek and mild no matter what the children's poems say--not in the popular usage of the words, anyway. But we should always be just and merciful even when defending ourselves and others. I realize I kind of went beyond the text here, but I think that what I've said can be verified elsewhere--maybe one day I'll take the time to do it. Meanwhile, if I'm wrong, definitely feel free to say so and why.

Verse 15

This may seem a bit of overkill with regard to today's society in America (or North America anyway), but really, it isn't. People are people wherever they may be and the current likelihood of being apprehended and made to pay for murder here in the USA doesn't make it any less a crime of the heart though we may fear to carry it out physically. In addition, this is likely a symbolic mention intended to evoke any sort of violent crime. Abortion deserves a mention here, for it is not as uncommon in the church as we might suppose. This, too, is the shedding of blood.

Verse 16

Destruction and misery not only for the victims of the ungodly, but also for those they love, as well as for themselves. This way leads to misery and death. It will lead to the same place whether we are unsanctified "followers" of Christ or self-declared enemies of God. This is the default destination of all Adam's children apart from God's saving grace, so we have no room to boast.

Verse 17

God has called us to peace. Without Him, we would never find it, either for ourselves or for any others unfortunate enough either to cross us or be associated with us. Of course, the way of peace is to follow God. Again, we are incapable of this on our own. That's why Jesus came.

Verse 18

Fear means reverential awe, affectionate respect and reverence, and yes, fear--which is the only reasonable response of a sinner in the presence of God. Throughout this passage, Paul speaks of unregenerate man, yet we need to remember these characteristics so we may guard against them in our own lives. Do we sometimes also forget to fear God? Do we take Him for granted and go to Him only when we have a need or not at all? God wants us to bring our needs to Him, even if we haven't talked to Him for a long time (it's one way of getting us to remember Him), but if we spent our lives conversing with Him, how much better it would be for us.

Verse 19

Paul has already talked about non-Jews being guilty by reason of ignoring the laws of nature and their own in-born consciousness of right and wrong. Now he has been addressing the Jews, showing them to be guilty under their own law, that given to them by God. Not he who has the law is justified, but he who does the things required by the law. So our excuses are mowed down, Jews as well as Gentiles. We are all guilty before God.

Verse 20

No one, Jew or Gentile, having the law, obeys or has obeyed it. Therefore no one is justified by the law of Moses or by following the law of nature, implanted in the hearts of all humanity. These versions of the law merely show us our sin.

All this Paul says to convince his readers of their need of Christ, of their personal inability to please God with their lives, and of the inadequacy of simply having the law and not obeying it. As he says later, Thank God for Jesus! (slight paraphrase there) We can never make it on our own. We may as well surrender in appropriate humility to the grace of God and glorify Him for it, as a child surrenders to the ministrations of his daddy, admitting he can't do anything on his own. God wants us to look to Him when we fail, when we succeed, when we need and want, when we're lonely or happy or scared or confident. He, the God of the Universe and more, wants to be our Daddy. Let the people praise Him! Let all the people praise Him. You praise Him--He is the LORD!

May God richly Bless You and Grant You Peace,

Cindy

Vediamoli i "titoli" dell'allenatore prescelto dai moralisti:

The mainstream American corporate press has once again proven itself to be no better than the state controlled media in places like Communist China or Zimbabwe, by steadfastly refusing to print even a mention of over a hundred global power brokers meeting in secret to discuss the future of the planet.

David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, the secretary general of NATO, CEO’s of the world’s biggest corporations, U.S. politicians and European royalty were all there in Chantilly, but the U.S. media failed to show and did not even mention that the meeting was taking place, despite Bilderberg themselves issuing a press release!

A press release about a missing dog would make a few local newspapers, but a press release about over a hundred of the most powerful people in the world meeting in secret was completely ignored.

A perusal of local area newspaper websites such as the Fairfax Times provides an even starker indication of how tightly controlled the media is in America. In its Chantilly section, the paper carries stories about the Chantilly boys lacrosse team and a pizza delivery man - but 125+ global kingpins, including Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke and Condoleezza Rice, meeting in their back yard isn’t deemed worthy of attention!

We know for a fact that a Fairfax Times reporter was dispatched to cover Bilderberg days ago but their story has not seen the light of day.

Let’s play devil’s advocate and take the debunker’s line and pretend that Bilderberg sets no policy whatsoever and is merely a talking shop for the global elite. A book signing by any one of the meeting’s attendants would warrant a handful of column inches at the very least - yet 125+ of them meeting in secret and not one mention in any U.S. mainstream media outlet?

Even to the hardened anti-conspiracy theorist this must raise troubling questions.

What are they so keen to put the lid on that they will not even dare draw attention to Bilderberg by writing a puff piece debunking anyone who ascribes power to the group?

An attack on Iran? The likely outcome of the presidential election? The consequences of the price of oil rising above and beyond Bilderberg’s stated $200 dollar a barrel target?

The gaggle of alternative media reporters and protesters who gathered to cover Bilderberg in Chantilly, and were constantly harassed, stalked, surveilled and scorned for doing so, represent the last truly free press that exists in America.

Central Bilderberg member David Rockefeller’s infamous quote about the castrated U.S. media and its sycophantic support for Bilderberg’s agenda has never abeen more prescient.

“We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the light of publicity during those years. But now the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government."

Rockefeller can thank the ideological prostitutes that staff these same organizations once again this year for providing the darkness necessary for Bilderberg to scheme its evil agenda for the destruction of the middle class and the erection of the elite’s fourth reich.

We’ve completed our count, and with the evening comes the closing of the Spring Feasts, Shavu

We've completed our count, and with the evening comes the closing of the Spring Feasts, Shavuot. For me, Shavuot tends to be the most relaxed, low-key and subtle of the Lord's Feasts. The elements of most holidays are found: good food, traditional activities, fellowship. This one is missing a lot of bells and whistles that regal deep exhaustion from the mother of the house. Perhaps here, I should remind my readers, that this is my telling of how our family marks the feast. We read, as tradition gives us, the book of Ruth. I bake a heavy and delicious baklava cheesecake as dairy and honey are symbolic of the season. The house is freshly washed, and plants/greenery are usually brought in if we have previously done without. It's relaxing, family and...intimate. Like most of the Feasts in the last year, we're sharing this for the first time with a group of fellow believers who, for the most part, understand something of its weight. There has been mixed joys in this for me, personally. To find, at last, a set of believers who accomodate or adopt these things is fine...but at the same time, there is such distance in our understandings and devotions (some more than others). My naivete, I suspect, allowed me to believe that once I stumbled upon such a group that there would be such harmonies in understanding and likeness so as to be a union in quite a different way. And I smile. No doubt, this same desire goes back to the book of Acts and beyond...it must have been a difficult thing for those freshly recommitted to the heed of the Word and refreshed with new understanding of all the old scriptures as the same in that present age: Grace, to also then make the jump (and stay on track) when people like myself, absent the physical heritage, walked among them.

Perhaps this is one of the reasons Shavuot is so sweet a thing to observe. Whether correct or not, this particular holiday is one of reflection on the relationship between man and God..more specifically, the relationship between man and God's Torah (His Word).

The covenant with Adam in Genesis 3 is extended to His promise to all of mankind. There we are given the knowledge of hardships to come, difficulties to experience, breaking of our hearts, the manifestation of Satan. More than this, we receive the faithfulness of God and His oath to fulfill...the seed of the woman will be bruised in the heel, but her offspring will bruise the head of the evil serpent.

In the Noahic Covenant of Genesis 9God vows never again to destroy the earth by a flood. As a sign of this promise, we are given the rainbow. At least, this is the extent of memory of most believers. Nothing wrong with this...but we are also here told to not eat blood...and it is here that it is taught to us that blood is the sacred symbol of life and of sacrificial redemption. The weight of this is so vital that it would take another post to explain. Perhaps at a future date. Yet, there is something that I would like to share with believers whom specifically believe in the Noahic account as true and valid (vs. a fairy tale) and yet, believe that we are all under a New Covenant with the "Old" being now invalid. The rainbow still continues today as a covenantal pledge...therefore, man is still expected to value the sacredness of life.

Sanctified by faith is the great covenant of promise, the covenant given to Abraham, of a great nation through whom all the promises of God are yea and Amen (Exodus 20), and through which the land of Israel is given to the physical seed of Abraham as an eternal possession. In this covenant, God extends to the world a pledge that all those who would bless Israel would themselves be blessed...and those would curse those who would curse her. As one not of the physical lineage, I'm extremely humbled that this Covenant fortells a blessing to the nations in Messiah, so that those of us who believe, following in his faith and come to His Word can rightly know Abraham as "the father of many nations." (This does not take away the unique elect of Israel.) Here we are shown that beyond a beloved people, that the nation of Israel would be reserved as an instrument of God. Circumcision and the Sabbath are given to the nation for this pledge.

In the covenant given through Moses, follows the event from which we see the fruitfulness of the Abrahamic Covenant. On that joyous occasion the Lord's Feasts were given to celebrate the tender mercies and overwhelming grace of God. Sabbath, as a recall of His work as Creator, is given to Israel as a holy rest...in honoring the Sabbath, they testify of God's lordship over all of creation and His victories over the forces of paganism in establishing Israel as His nation. In Shavuot, a thanksgiving is celebrated marking the blessings of God on this earth. In Acts 2 we believers of Messiah also know this day as a holy day to which we offer thanksgiving for the blessings of the Torah, the Living Word made manifest to us. Those who are led to do God's will in response to His grace, are guided by the whole counsel of the Word of God.

The last of the covenants found in the Old Testament is the Davidic Covenant (IISamuel 7). In the giving of this particular covenant David is promised a throne for his descendants, with its extension being the everlasting ruleship of Messiah in this and the spiritual world as described in Matthew 13.

I am of a pilgrimage people, those not claiming the physical but the spiritual inheritance of Abraham...who follows faith in the same footsteps he trod. We recognize that while we are one in Christ that the precious and needfully unique relationship between Israel and God remains...and without whom we would not have audience before God. Their gift and call is irrevocable. I am from the place of Ruth and the likeness of the Canaanite woman who sought our Lord's mercies.

Prov 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Your understanding (on which you are leaning) says every-thing is falling apart. DON’T LEAN ON IT. Your understanding lets you down constantly. Like when you expect someone to act one way, but they do something else. The key in knowing God and receiving His help, REQUIRES you to believe something that isn’t obvious right now.

Sometimes getting back to basics is what we need to do. I had been on a tear to try to learn and do all the festivals and traditions of old thinking that I would unlock some type of deeper understanding, meaning and blessing. I have done that. I have had all 3. But In reality I have found that it has done the opposite. I have found that at least at this point of my life it was a loss of focus. In essence I implore you to follow the teachings but PLEASE keep in mind the focus is our Father and Lord Jesus Christ. I am now in a journey to actually get back to that place. The place where I first heard that sweet voice. The place where I could meet and sup with him. Please pray for me as I walk down that path. This post of this blog is by no way a means to discourage or keep you from the things that studying the Jewish Roots brings.

I again just implore you to maintain focus and build on that little voice that comes from the Father. For now I have placed my Tallit in its bag. My Kippa and all my Shabbat elements in our Shabbat basket. When I can re reestablish the intimacy and relationship with the True Lord Jesus Christ. I cannot make it a mere ritual. This is a hard thing to do. I thank all of your kind remarks on my blog. Readership spikes of Fridays as you seek information on the elements of Shabbat. I’m glad I know that you will and are blessed by it. Please pray for me at your Shabbat services as I regain focus and other missing pieces of my life.

Friends please dont be sad for me. I'll be back better than ever with even more revelation from the Lord. Ill leave you with this for now.

Im currently working on something special so keep dropping by.

Hi Res version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvAlQ2hIaoc

I love my wife and miss her. Please pray for our family. Thanks!

I set out on a narrow way, many years ago
Hoping I would find true love, along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wiped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign, pointed straight to you
Every long lost dream lead me to where you are
Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way, into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That lead me straight to you

I think about the years I spent, just passing through
I'd like to have the time I lost, and give it back to you

But you just smile and take my hand
You've been there you understand
It's all part of a grander plan, that is coming true

Every long lost dream, lead me to where you are
Others who broke my heart, they were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way, into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God blessed the broken road
That lead me straight to you

Now I'm just rolling home
Into my lovers arms
This much I know, is true
That God blessed the broken road
That lead me straight to you
That God blessed the broken road
That lead me straight
to you

I come from a very small family. A micro-family, if you will. First, I am an only child. I was the superstar of the family. There was only me. Pro: no little mini squirts stealing my things or getting me in trouble. Con: no one to blame anything on; if anything went wrong, you didn't have to look far to find a suspect. Second, both of my parents are only children. This means no aunts, uncles, or cousins. In addition, my parents had me at 40, so most of the elders in my family passed on when i was rather young. Top this lovely cake off with the fact that my parents have been divorced since I was a wee tot of two, and you have the recipe for the tiniest family in existence: my mother and me.

A family reunion for most of my life has been sitting down at the dinner table with my mom. Some find this weird, but it's always been that way. I can't imagine having to share anything with siblings while growing up. I'm fairly good at sharing now, but I was the epitome of an only child. I'm that only child mascot on crack. My mini-family was rather into social niceties, as well. My mom once gave me Tiffany's Table Manners for Teenagers as a gift she thought I would be thrilled about. Needless to say we weren't shouters.

A couple of relationships ago (that sounds so awful), I dated someone with three siblings and outspoken parents. I remember the first time we visited his family in New Jersey I was paralyzed with fear. Not only was I nervous about being in a house with so many people, I was the gentile girlfriend of a Jewish guy from Jersey. Let me tell you, knowing you're the one being whispered about in a giant synagogue of about 200 people is a weird feeling. I wanted to crawl under a Santa hat and die.

I digress.

That first time was crazy. We walked into a cacophony of shouting from all different directions. His mother. His father. His brothers. No hellos. No greetings. Just shouting. It was so confusing! At one point they were all shouting about what I wanted to do while I was visiting, but no one actually asked me, heh. They all shouted at my boyfriend and he shouted back.

"Well, what does she want to do tonight?!"

"I don't know!"

"Does she want to go to that concert?!"

"I DON'T KNOW!"

I know I was sitting there with my mouth partially agape, but no one seemed to notice. It was family overload.

I would like to interject that while his family was loud, and I was forever The Gentile Girlfriend, they were very nice people... who didn't know how not to interrupt each other.

Patrick's family is also large. When we go to visit his family, it's his mother, father, sister, her husband, their three children, and four dogs. It's a madhouse.

It's something I am still getting used to, but I do love that inclusive feeling that a large family provides, even if it can be over-stimulating at times. I will still find refuge, however, in the fact that a family gathering usually involves my mom and I sharing a few glasses of wine over lunch, gabbing like regular Gal Friday pals.

John 4:7-9
“A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, ‘Give me a drink

John 4:7-9

"A woman from Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, 'Give me a drink.' (For his disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.) The Samaritan woman said to him, 'How is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria?' (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)"

Jews have no dealings with Samaritans

In his commentary of the Bible, Adam Clarke said of the Jews' disdain for the Samaritans that they "will not drink out of the same cup or well with them; will not sit down to meals with them, nor eat out of the same vessel; will have no religious connection, no commercial dealings with them." Though the cultural norm in Jesus' day was to look down upon women and distance one's self from Samaritans, Jesus took it upon Himself to approach them and preach the gospel.

He came and preached peace

Every one of us can put ourselves in this woman's shoes. All of us at one time (if not still today) were separate from Christ, alienated from Israel--without hope, without God in the world. But just as Jesus broke through cultural boundaries in His day to approach this one woman, so too He has come to preach peace to us who were far away from God. His message is simple: through faith in Him--Jesus Christ--we all may approach God being fully at peace with Him through forgiveness by His blood.

Titus 3:3-7 "For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life."

Ephesians 2:11-18 "Therefore remember that at one time you Gentiles in the flesh, called 'the uncircumcision' by what is called the circumcision, which is made in the flesh by hands--remember that you were at that time separated from Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father."

More emphatic than the enmity that existed between the Jews and the Samaritans is the enmity between us and God. We, the willfully disobedient creature, have put ourselves at opposition with the one perfect, holy God. He sought to bring peace between us. This He did by breaking down the dividing wall of hostility, abolishing the law of commandments that stood between us, and shedding His blood to provide forgiveness for all sin. He has come to preach peace both to us who are far off and to the Jew who is near showing us the singular way to access the Father: through faith in Jesus Christ.

Romans 12

Living Sacrifices

1Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

3For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you. 4Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, 5so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. 6We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. 7If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

Love

9Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

14Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

17Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. 18If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"says the Lord. 20On the contrary:
"If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head."21Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Following is an excerpt from a book drafting by Timothy Brennecke, my brother. Read on. Its a commentary of the book of Revelation, although this selected passage (from the first chapter) discusses the seven churches of Revelation 2 and 3. Oh, and he's still in need of a title, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

So, why would someone want to study the book of Revelation? The reason is because everyone wants to know the future. In the very first verse of the book we are told that the whole purpose of the book was to tell us “things which must shorty take place.” However before I go to far here, I think it is important to note to whom the book is actually written. Verse one not only tells why the book was written but that it was written to God's slaves. The term slaves (doulos as they are called in the Greek) depicts complete rejects, utterly worthless creatures that are only kept as servants because of their unshakable devotion toward there master. John's use of this word not only tells us that it truly is by God's grace that we are saved but that we must return the favor and demonstrate our love to Him—show Him our true devotion. However, this is not the only description of whom the book is addressed. Both verses 4, 11 and 19 further define the recipients as seven churches in Asia Minor. We must then gather that this book had immediate application at the time of its writing. However, we also know that God's Word is both living and powerful, thus it is always relevant to our everyday life. This is also the case with the book of Revelation as I will explain while I cover the letters to the seven churches.

However, before we move on to the seven churches there is some background information that chapter one covers must be discussed. John also tells us that this book is a direct message from God, the Seven Spirits (which are the picture of the Holy Spirit in this book), and Jesus Christ; all of whom currently stand in the throne-room in heaven. John establishes his credentials as an Apostle by stating that he had witnessed the crucifixion and resurrection, and he gives us a dating for the book by telling us that his vision occurred on either a Saturday or a Sunday (depending on your view) while he was exiled in Patmos. John also gives an unusual blessing: “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein”. No where else in the Bible do we see quite a blessing like this. However, there are not here three different groups that will be blessed as is commonly thought, but only one. The way that the original Greek is written connects the hearing to the doing. Thus only by both hearing and obeying will you receive the blessing that John here mentions. But in order to do that one must know what he is to do. That is one of the key things that I will explain later on in this commentary.

It is also interesting that John mentions many times in this book that these events are soon to be fulfilled (example: 1:1 and 1:4). The Greek in verse one tells us that the events surrounding the Second Coming will happen quickly whereas verse four tells us that their soon fulfillment will happen within the time-frame of the seven churches. On first look this is an apparent contradiction and in relation to the rest of the book it would make it seem as though Christs Second Coming must have happened during the generation that received the original book and thus supporting the theory of Preterism (the belief that all or at least most prophecy was fulfilled during the 1st Century C.E.). This is a small fact that many Pre-millennial scholars will pass over because they believe that, if not all, most of the book still applies to us today. Their way of justifying this is to allegorize the seven churches into representing seven different periods of the Church age (based on Dispinsationalism). Preterism, though it interprets the Revelation verses correctly, spiritualizes the rapture and the Second Coming making it an impersonal event. The other view allegorizes the whole passage just so they can explain there Dispinsationalism in a very persuading manor. Both of these are not the true interpretation of the passages as I will explain in the discussion of the seven churches.

Before the book moves on to the seven churches, John gives us an important description of his vision. John sees what he tells us is “one like a son of man”. This phrase should not surprise someone familiar with the Bible as one of the terms that Jesus used to refer to himself. John even makes the recognition of Christ and falls down at His feet. However, along with John's description it has another importance. The prophet Daniel also had a vision in which he described the exact same person using an identical description and the same title (Dan 10:1-9). This makes an extremely important connection between the two books. Both John and many others of his day would have recognized this personage to be Jesus Himself by this connection alone. However, Jesus goes on to clarify who is by clearly stating His accomplishments for us.

Next, Christ gives John the basic “table of contents” for the time-line of the book (see verse 19). John is first told that he is to write down what he has seen (found in the first chapter), what is at the present (found in the letters to the churches), and what will take place soon after (chapters 4 and onward). This “time-line” of events is very important to take into mind as one looks at the following verses to see where the events in question line up with the books own internal dating.

As we look at the letters to the churches we can see that they are not what John is seeing as God is dictating the letters to him while he is in exile. They are also not describing future events because God says that this is how the churches are now—at the time of the writing of the book [Although God does mention things that will happen to them if they don't follow His command, the letters are, in general, describing the present state of the churches]. Thus this passage must be taken to describe the present state of these churches and not a set time-line of church history which, again, I will begin to discuss in the next section.

However before I leave chapter one there is one more important thing to look at. Jesus not only gives us a brief outline of the book but he gives us a hint as to a part of the interpretation. The seven candlesticks that were in the vision are said to represent the seven churches and the seven stars that Christ was holding are said to represent the seven angels of the seven churches. I will discuss the meaning of the stars and angels next in the Introduction to the Seven churches but before we move on to it let us look at the importance of the seven candlesticks.

This appearance of the seven golden candlesticks back in verse 12 should have immediately reminded us of the single golden candlestick in Exodus 25 or the Menorah found in the tabernacle and the Temple. The Menorah of the Old Testament was representative of the Holy Spirit's presence among the people of Israel. The Menorah was also made out of seven separate candlesticks made into one. It had one major candlestick coming from the base to the candle at the top and had six candlesticks coming out of it, three on one side and three on the other. This made up a total of seven candlesticks on the Menorah. What is so interesting about these new seven candlesticks is that they are not connected to one another on the Menorah. Thus, instead of being unified in one Menorah the churches dispersed into seven separate candlesticks. In fact, this also tells us that these churches are Jewish churches not Gentiles churches. Thus, the identity of the seven churches as seven Jewish churches dispersed throughout the nations, means that we as Gentile believers are not directly address in this book. The only way we can include ourselves in the mix is through our being grafted into Israel (Rom. 11). This tells us that the Church is not a Gentile religion but a Jewish one. For us to be able to then understand this book we will have to look at it from a Jewish mindset and not with Gentile ideas.
