Bacterial infectionas affecting the gastrointestinal tract such as typhoid (salmonella tyhpi), chole

Bacterial infectionas affecting the gastrointestinal tract such as typhoid (salmonella tyhpi), cholera etc. are called gastrointestinal infections. Viral and fungal infections can also take place. The affliction by amoeba (entamoeba hystolytica)], flat worms, round worms, pin worms etc. are called gastrointestinl infstations.

Wherever we live there are toxin every where. Food, air, water even pharmaceutical drugs.

We can't hiding with that, only "Cleansing Method" to make us better health from such situation!

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is among the most common gastrointestinal problems in the United States. Between 7 percent and 20 percent of Americans experience symptoms suggestive of IBS, such as abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhea, but many shy away from discussing the problem and end up missing out on effective treatment for the syndrome. Physicians at the University of Michigan are building IBS awareness in hopes that those suffering will seek medical help.“Probably only a quarter of those patients that are symptomatic will actually seek medical care related to their gastrointestinal complaints,” says William Chey, M.D., director of the Gastrointestinal Physiology Laboratory, director for the Office of Clinical Research-Division of Gastroenterology and associate professor of Internal Medicine.Irritable bowel syndrome is a disorder that interferes with normal functions of the bowel and refers to chronic or recurrent symptoms that are case-specific to each IBS patient. Common symptoms include any combination of cramping, bloating, constipation or diarrhea. What causes irritable bowel syndrome? The precise cause of IBS remains unclear, but several different factors appear to play a role. Abnormalities in contractions, secretion and sensation of the intestine and colon are common in IBS. Further, function and sensation of the bowel can be influenced by factors including diet, stress, depression, anxiety and infections of the bowel.Susan Weber developed IBS after severe salmonella food poisoning. Two years later, Weber is still working to manage her IBS.“I would say that in the beginning, it was the flu-like symptoms—a lot of throwing up and a lot of diarrhea. Then after a week, the throwing up subsided, but the diarrhea stayed. Two more weeks went by and my life still wasn’t back on track. I was very lethargic. I could not stay awake. I was putting very little in my system and eventually couldn’t keep my weight up; I lost 22 pounds,” says Weber.Weber was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome after the gastrointestinal symptoms turned into an everyday occurrence. Though doctors often think that IBS is a difficult diagnosis to make, studies show that it can be confidently diagnosed if a patient has the appropriate symptoms and there are no “warning signs” such as bleeding, weight loss or a family history of serious gastrointestinal diseases.

Treating symptoms

Irritable bowel syndrome is not curable, but there are many different options that can effectively relieve symptoms.

You can broadly think about therapy for IBS in two categories:

* Non-pharmacological therapy such as diet and stress management strategies.

* Medication use such as Pharmaceutical drugs or Natural Herbal Treatment.

Some controlling symptoms with diet and stress management:

- Be aware of potential problem foods, such as fatty foods, milk products, chocolate, alcohol, caffeine and carbonated drinks.

- Eat foods with more fiber to reduce constipation, such as whole-grain bread, beans, broccoli, carrots, peas, apples and peaches.

- Try eating four or five small meals during the day instead of two or three large ones.-Reduce stress to lessen symptoms. Try exercise, meditation or talking to a counselor.

- Start a food diary to find out what foods make symptoms worse.

- Drink plenty of water.

- Avoid chewing gum and eating too quickly. Gas will decrease if the amount of air swallowed is minimized.

But still this method no question that IBS can be successfully treated, at least you can control some major IBS symptoms.

Yesterday Ben, Ben’s brother and I went to see their grandma where she now lives in a nursing

Yesterday Ben, Ben's brother and I went to see their grandma where she now lives in a nursing home up the road. She's only been there a week or so and is fairly put out with having to be there. But, no matter how put out she is or how she is feeling we still run up the road with

flowers from our garden

conversation

little trinkets and

pictures and

conversations and

love

several times a week.

Ben's brother had not seen Grandma's new room yet so while she and Ben were talking his brother and I went down the hall to her room to check it out.

He was not happy because he's one of those beautiful guys who let's himself live from being 6 or 7 and having his Grandma as a completely awesome bad ass who is busy

cooking favorite things

going for nature walks with all of her little ones in tow

being adamant about homework

laughing with their Grandpa

protecting her grandchildren like a mama bear and

setting up the M & M train on the dining room table and helping everyone make up stories about each little character and how they feel about where they are going on their scenic trip.

Several years ago I had participated in a business meeting in which I had managed to get

confused

angry

discombobulated and

into quite a nasty swivet

(swivet: a state of extreme agitation...and also one of my favorite words)

After the meeting I kept my plans to go to lunch with a friend and on the way to her house decided she would be the perfect person for me to essentially

dump

barf

evacuate

all of my frustrations on about the meeting.

But, without ever saying so, she made it clear she was not in the mood for dumps, barfs or evacuations and ended up telling me

several very funny jokes

a bizarre story about watching her neighbor walking naked in his yard in the middle of the night and wandering over to another neighbor's holly bush to pee

about her excitement over getting all new windows in her house and

her hopes for when she would graduate from college

And even though I got into a bit of a swivet when I first realized she wasn't going to allow me to dump, barf or evacuate everything about the business meeting I had been in earlier that day I ended up

laughing at her jokes and about her naked neighbor

sharing in her excitement over all new windows

telling her how impressed I was by her efforts in college and

forgetting pretty much everything I had to say about the business meeting by the time lunch was over.

And that was a good thing because it is true that a time called "Later" is normally a time in which I realize 99% of the crap I was going to dump, barf or evacuate wasn't really worth my

time

energy

sanity or

serenity

So yesterday when Ben's brother (who was standing stock still in the middle of the room with tears in his eyes) and I were in their Grandma's room I just started fussing around and making the bed and hanging a few pictures and putting flowers on her bedside table and talking about each little thing and telling a story about our insane little Chihuahua and then we headed back to see Grandma and Ben again and

as we were walking down the hall together I said,

Just so you know, I'm getting ready to have a little bit of gas and blame it on you.

He said,

What?

I said,

I'm gassy and am going to let go and if it makes a sound I'm blaming it on you.

Before he could say anything else I let go and it did make a sound so I said,

Hey, are you OK?

He shook his head and started laughing and I said,

Is your tummy upset?

He couldn't say anything so I said,

Did something from your breakfast not agree with you?

And before we knew it we were in the room with Grandma and Ben again and talking about dinner and making sure Grandma got to her place in the dining room and

as I was standing by the door waiting for Ben and his brother to kiss their Grandma and some old guy got up and wandered slowly toward me and then stopped to shake my hand and said,

I'm gonna give you a squeeze, squeeze, squeeze.

And I thought,

Man, I hope he doesn't reach for one of my boobs or something.

But he just wandered out into the TV room until one of the assistants came to get him and took him back to his table in the dining room.

So I told Ben and his brother that story as well.

Several years ago I became the proud caretaker of a small and fake black sheep named 'Buffy' who was being passed around from one volunteer committee to another. At the time I lived with a gay man who, if he'd had the time, I believe could have become a very famous drag queen. But he was working too hard at his new public relations career at the time and his drag queeness came out on 'Buffy' whom I would come home from work and find wearing my:

underwear

bras

jewelery

clothing

and various buttons that said things such as:

bitch

man of war

hooker

And when it came time to pass 'Buffy' along to the next volunteer committee we'd been having so much fun dressing her up that we didn't want to give her away so we wrote a letter to the other volunteer committee that said:

We regret to inform you that 'Buffy' has been detained at Saint Sister Mary's School for Wayward Girls for cussing, excessive drinking, cigarette smoking, pulling a train and working at Mel's Strip It & Flip It Gentleman's Club. We will pass her to your care as soon as the nuns have straightened her out.

The other committee didn't think that was very funny but we kept her anyway and then I ended up moving about 6 times and 'Buffy' ended up in a box and then sat on a random shelf in my home office and then a friend and I were laughing about it one day and this chick overheard us, pointed her finger into my face and said,

My husband bought that fuckin' black sheep 15 years ago and it should be in our house in his care.

I said,

You know, I'm getting ready to move again and will just bring it by sometime.

She said,

It'd be the right fuckin' thing to do after all these years.

And it turns out that one of my best friends lives right up the street from those folks so I called her up at something like midnight one night and said,

I'm comin' over with 'Buffy' and were going to drop her off down the street.

She was up for it and waiting at the door and we

ran down the street with Buffy and

planted her black sheep ass in their front yard and

then my friend took pictures of me acting like

I was humping Buffy from behind and

then we ran back up the street laughing so hard that

we really weren't running right at all and

collapsed on her sofa when we got to her house

And today when I look at that picture one of the funniest parts of it to me is that for some reason I was wearing a tool belt while I was humping 'Buffy' from behind. I have never really known what I was doing at home alone at midnight wearing a tool belt that caused me to take that little back sheep back to her rightful owner.

And now I'm sitting here thinking I'm not really sure I want to know.

I'm also thinking I will have to call my friend and see if she still has a copy of that picture because stories that are

silly

bizarre

crazy and

virtually insane

are always good to remember when your husband and his brother are going through a tough time because sometimes we all just need a little break when we're sad and sometimes it takes a story as bizarre as that one to get things going for a good laugh.

An association between adult rheumatoid arthritis and milk allergy has previously been reported, but now researchers in Israel have demonstrated that milk allergy may induce juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. They state that commonly used allergy tests are unreliable in the diagnosis of milk allergy and suggest that a strict cows' milk protein-free diet may be beneficial to those with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. (Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine 78:410-413, May, 1985) Another study has demonstrated rheumatoid-like lesions in laboratory animals given cows' milk for 12 weeks.
Betapa besar pengaruh pikiran mempengaruhi diri anda. Dalam pengobatan timur mind sangat penting dal

Betapa besar pengaruh pikiran mempengaruhi diri anda.

Pejamkan mata anda perlahan. Tariklah nafas 2 hitungan dan hembuskan nafas anda perlahan 5 hitungan. Lakukan berulang sampai anda benar merasa rileks.

I just love it when people who don't normally cuss drop the F Bomb.

It's just like that old E.F. Hutton commercial...

When E.F. Hutton talks...people listen!

Seriously, it got my attention when I heard my new Aunt drop the F Bomb.

And let me tell ya, I'm no E.F. Hutton when it comes to the F Bomb. There is no one paying attention when I drop it. Absolutely no one.

But I digress.

Which, by the way, reminds me that one of the synonyms for the word digress is swerve.

Thus, I believe I will start saying,

But I've clearly swerved.

Indeed, I have clearly swerved with that whole digression.

One way or the other, personal gas issues simply seem to 'vaporize' out of nowhere with this family. Myself included. Sometimes it's because...

someone has a gastrointestinal complaint after dinner

or

has a funny story to tell about their husband or wife

or

has an accidental 'letting go' on their way to the restroom

One way or the other, we get there with it almost every single time we're all in one place.

Today Ben said,

Babe, do you remember the thing that happened at HorseFest this spring?

And then I didn't think personal gas issues were so funny because we were discussing mine.

But said,

Yes,

and thought the whole thing would be dropped.

And Ben said,

That was a hoot!

and started laughing kind of hysterically.

And then everyone wanted to know about me and my personal gas issue occurrence at HorseFest in the spring.

So I told everyone about being desperate for a rest room and the one I found being locked and kind of running along in front of Ben in search of one that was open and having an accidental personal gas issue and suddenly realizing there was another couple walking behind us and feeling quite hysterical on the inside and saying,

Oh my gosh! Ben! Why are you always doing that in public! I cannot believe you!

and then turning to look at the couple that was walking behind us and seeing the looks on their faces that said, loud and clear,

How is it that she's trying to blame that on him when she's something like 30 feet ahead of him? Do we look that dense?

So I just started laughing and kind of jogging in place and Ben kept walking at the same pace and was slowly shaking his head and looking at me all big eyed and everything and that made me laugh even harder

and

by the time the other couple passed us I had kind of calmed down and started walking along with Ben

until

just as the other couple went through the big door leading to where the horses for sale were stalled the man of the couple had a massive personal gas issue of his own.

And then I became hysterical again but no one else did because the other couple just kept going and Ben just kept walking and shaking his head and looking at me all big eyed and everything.

But by the time the whole HorseFest personal gas issue story had been told pretty much everyone on the porch was doing something else and I was kind of grateful for that. Because

even though I've done all kinds of things in public that I shouldn't have

I sometimes regret roping a few of my brain cells into

thinking it's going to be funny to talk about it at a later time

because most of the things I've done in public

really weren't that funny except for

the time about 22 years ago when I decided

to drop the F Bomb at some chick outside of a bar

but didn't realize she was a member of

about 17 members of the same family who were having a reunion and

were all standing on the same sidewalk together and

when the entire family started heading for me I pointed

at some lady I didn't even know and said

"She said it," and then

got the hell out of there

And I suppose that is one example of a time when people actually listened to me when I dropped the F Bomb.

During my Sophomore year of college I had a psychology professor who always told our class that people who cuss or think toilet humor (his words, not mine) are signs of being stuck in what Freud called the 'Anal Stage' of his 'Psychosexual Developemnt' theory and would go on and on about that whole thing of being stuck in that stage causing one of the two following personalities:

Anal Retentive: Neat, precise, witholding, passive-aggressive, etc...

Anal Explusive: Disorganized, messy, reckless, defiant, etc...

I also recall having a discussion with my college friends Amy and Jennifer about how strange it was that our professor was so attached to such an outdated theory and coming up with a plan to drive him a little batty by doing our level best to demonstrate having formed one or the other personalities of Freud's Anal Stage of Psychosexual Development.

Thus,

Amy would attend his pre-test study groups and then give a little passive-aggressive diatribe about its lack of effectiveness in front of the entire class

Jennifer would, in the middle of a lecture, loudly excuse herself to 'go twist a wicked cable'

I would spend an inordinate amount of time arranging and rearranging my papers on my desk and make statements under my breath such as, 'How can I learn anything if these papers are not in order?' or 'My work will never be done if I'm not organized!'

And it turned out that our professor was the 'counselor' for what was called 'The Wellness Center' and he wanted all of us to come in individually so he could 'counsel' us.

And my 'counseling session' ended up going something like this:

Sit down in 'counselor's' office

allow him to put a little device on the end of the index finger of my right hand that was

connected to a biofeedback machine and

watch his back for almost 45 minutes as he monitored the machine at his desk then

allow him to remove the little device from my index finger

at which point he looked me in the eye and said,

It appears that you are nervous.

I said,

No shit.

He said,

We should talk about it.

I said,

I don't fuckin' think so,

and left.

I ended up getting a pretty good grade in his class

Amy ended up going back for several sessions to 'work through' her 'issues' and,

if I'm remembering correctly, Jennifer ended up dating him for about 6 months

And now I'm sitting here thinking it's probably not a very good idea to get too attached to personality theories or stages of human development because, otherwise, I probably wouldn't get such a good laugh about my new Aunt dropping the F Bomb or our family seeming to swerve into conversations about personal gas issues every time we are together.

Betapa besar pengaruh pikiran mempengaruhi diri anda.

Pejamkan mata anda perlahan. Tariklah nafas 2 hitungan dan hembuskan nafas anda perlahan 5 hitungan. Lakukan berulang sampai anda benar merasa rileks.

Pretty standard info about allergy and celiac disease but towards the middle of the interview the good Dr. talks about studies that he is involved with that are taking a hard look at why certain Chinese medicine practices actually block the problematic immune system freak outs.... Interesting.

It was estimated that of all the people who died of cancer – colon, lung, prostate, and breast - in 1999 sixteen percent were attributed to colon cancer. But, how many of these other cancers originated in your colon? We do know that colon cancer is the second leading cause of deaths in the United States.

We don’t know what cancers originated in your colon because the medical profession treats symptoms not the causes. Many doctors do not go looking for the cause of your problem. They don’t have the time. In fact, they normally will not tell you what you need to do to prevent your illness. Sometimes the reason they will not tell you is they just do not know.

It is the nutritionist’s job to tell you what foods and supplements you need to prevent and to overcome specific illnesses and what to eat to eliminate or stop constipation.

Why is it that some many people are dying of various diseases at such an early age – at forty, at fifty, at sixty, even 30, or younger? They die of heart diseases, blood diseases, cancers, autoimmune diseases and the list goes on. It has been know for a longtime why diseases occur and what you can do to prevent it.

These death producing illnesses are a result of our life style - the foods we eat, the water we drink, the air pollution we breathe, the thoughts we think, the toxins we are exposed to at work, and the cleaning products we use at home.

What is it that causes us to behave in a way that is harmful to others or ourselves in ways that affect our health, our relationships, and our life? Why do people smoke when they know it causes Cancer? Why do people drink coffee when they know caffeine affects their adrenal gland, which eventually leads to exhaustion? Why is it that people eat sugar when they know it has untold health effects beyond diabetes? The answer is simple but difficult to accept.

All illness originates from repressed traumatic memories resulting from early life trauma.

Dr Arthur Janov explains this clearly in his book, 1996, Why You Get Sick How You Get Well.

“Over the last thirty years I have learned a great deal about humans and what drives them. As trite as it may seem, what I have found is a single yet complex emotion called love. Not the romantic love of novels, but a fundamental love – the love of a parent for a child. When a child lacks love and nurturing, no matter how that lack is manifest, it creates pain, and if this pain is not “felt” or integrated into the system, it will in turn cause physical and emotional illness in later life.”

It takes disciple to change behavior, thought, and life style, which are good for health. This is what is necessary to reduce or eliminate illness. This is what is necessary to bring on a feeling of well-being way into your old age – at 80, at 90, at 100, and well beyond that. With the new anti-aging nutrients and supplements on the market, I can see people living well into 120 years provided they follow a good lifestyle.

How many people are willing to devote the time and money to start eating the right foods and change their lifestyle? This is the first step in reducing or eliminating constipation.
