According to MediaTakeOut.com, 50 Cent is in talks for a $300 Million Dollar FOX/Myspace deal.  If true, THIS is a textbook example of...

focusing on the big picture and promoting and developing  drawing and database-building ability and leveraging that into a lucrative venture for himself.  Was that a run-on sentence or what?   ;)

According to a source, 50 Cent is on the verge of signing a deal with FOX/Myspace to:

• 50 Cent and his crew will move their G-Unit Records to a new G-Unit label created under MySpace Records.
• all of 50's concert touring would be marketed and sold through a newly created News Corp entity.
• 50's website ThisIs50.com would be acquired and run by News Corp.
• 50 Cent would get his own production studio to put out film and tv projects.

The cost for all this would be $300 million in cash and stock.  According to a source, at least half of the deal would be in stock.  50 Cent would be one of the largest shareholders of News Corp when the deal is done.  The deal would be scheduled to go into effect in 2009, when 50 Cent is slated to deliver his final album to Interscope.
