Curved Text (Fireworks)

This one, tells you how to do something like this:

I suppose you won't have much use for this in everyday life but.. it does come in handy especially during presentations or.. when you're doing your kid's homework or school project. :D

Right then.. let's start.

** Run Fireworks

** create a new document that is 400x300 in size (we need ample space)

** create a circle by clicking and holding on the Rectangle Tool and clicking Ellipse tool on the Tools panel. It doesn't have to be a perfect sphere,but you can create that by clicking and holding and then press and hold on Ctrl + Shift while dragging. Basically, Ctrl and Shift can also help in creating symmetrical shapes and when resizing, helps maintain the proportion of the image.

** write a few words using the Text tool. After this, your screen should look something like this:

** select the two objects (circle and text, like in the image above) then, in the menu bar, click Text > Attach to patch.

** voila! :) after that, it may look like this (with the text on the side instead of on top)

you can fix that by selecting the image, and then click the Scale tool and rotating it so that the text is now on top.

Please note that you don't have to use circles all the time. You can use rectangles or any other shape, so you can achieve your desired effect. This is just a small part of other sorts of curved texts out there.

Tenho observado que existem muitas buscas aqui no blog, sobre como criar "folhas de caderno". Assim, em breve postarei o tutorial que estou desenvolvendo no Fireworks 8.

Só pra ficarem com um gostinho de "quero mais"... segue uma pequena parte do resultado final:

Instalar Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash y Fireworks 8 en Ubuntu

Bueno, la verdad no es un misterio, en ubuntu 7.10, abrimos Synaptic (Sistema-Administración-Gestor de paquetes Synaptic), buscamos Wine y lo instalamos, ya viene en los repositorios...

Después de ello, la mayoría de los .exe serán ejecutados en nuestro sistema Linux.

Para poder instalar programas de windows en nuestro ubuntu 7.10 solo abrimos Nautilus como root y en él, exploramos nuestro disco hasta donde se encuentren los instaladores, en este caso los de Macromedia.

Y llega lo mas dificil, "le damos doble click" y listo como si estubieses instalando en windows, solo es (practicamente) el siguiente, siguiente .... finalizar.

Y listo!!! ya tienes funcionando tu suite de Macromedia en ubuntu.
