Our Fire Mary Peters campaign is only eight days old and already we've sent more than 7,000 letters to members of Congress asking them to find her in contempt! If you think that doesn't make a difference, consider this: during a subcommittee hearing last week, three members of Congress told her to her face that she broke the law. Here's a big thank you to Democrats Marcy Kaptur of Ohio, Ciro Rodriguez of Texas and Ed Pastor, from Mary Peters' home state of Arizona.

Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., is our champion on this issue. Look for him to call Mary Peters on the carpet sometime soon. He's expected to call a hearing soon on her defiance of the law that closes the border.

And keep sending those emails and letters to Congress!
