I honestly don't know where the time has gone. The milestones that this child has reached in the past 3 months is astonishing to say the least! I may just loose my mind by that point! :-) Nevertheless I am very excited that this time in Julian's life has come and can not wait to see what he does next! now this has been going on for days and my brother's leaving soon and yesterday i had to work. i'll tell you exactly what happened yesterday: my dad wanted us to do stuff. he gave me a load of keys and items to take. later, my dad handed out a land phone unit to my brother without my knowledge. except in the end, he hands it on to me and i end up bringing everything in a shopping bag. i get why he's doing that: he thinks that since he's driving, i "owe" him or something. it's that you-need-me-so-be-nice attitude again. so we go and buy things we need for meeting the client and we realise that the land phone's cable is missing. and my brother calls home and my mom says it's home. and he blames ME. i already had loads of items to worry about and he refused to take care of a single item and when something goes wrong it's my fault. before that, i was ready by 8:30 (my dad had left the house for work earlier), when i said it was time to leave because everything had to be ready for the client by 12:00, my brother said "later at 9:00" because he needs to finish watching TV. then my mom (who's well aware of my dad's temper still make us do stuff). and i get all freaked out because i'm the one who's usually at home so i'm the one in charge of the family business. if something goes wrong, i'll get in trouble. we ended up leaving at 10:30.

so in the end, i didn't get driving lessons because we had to take care of stuff. and a first-time learner shouldn't drive in the dark, should she? well, then we go home to pick up my other brother and my brothers spend a load of time in these stores looking at stuff they ended up not even buying (compare: when i want a book, i call the store and ask for the book and pick it up and pay for the book in less than 5 minutes). and this morning, my dad's like "and what were you [me] doing out until that late and tell me you didn't have time to learn driving?"

first of all, i've been asking my brother to teach me FOR DAYS now. and he's the one who refuses for the reason that he's busy or has something else to do (going out doing God-knows-what). and i was ready early. i hate it when my dad doesn't understand. i'd say my dad is a person who "knows but doesn't understand". like when he gets the chauffeur to deliver paperwork and doesn't get it done on time, he'll call him every 5 minutes to ask where he's at. my dad knows what the traffic is like in this city, but he doesn't "want to know" if the traffic is bad, it just has to get done. period. and in the end, i get the blame. he basically got angry in front of my brother (who knows exactly what happened: that i'd been asking him to teach me how to drive for days now and that i was ready early and we got out late because he was watching TV).
