First off, apologies to Julie and Karen as it's taken me a long time to answer the meme! Thanks for selecting me as an excellent blog Julie and thank you Karen for rolling the meme along. Now it's my turn to offer up three blogs I feel are excellent. Three from the photography blogs I follow.

Shoot the Blog. I would never have expected the "stock photo service" blog I subscribed to last December to become one of my favorite reads but it happened. Photoshelter hired a pro. Honestly, the author is just about as good a product blogger as Scalzi was when he blogged to support AOL Journals. Shoot the Blog is photography, photos and photographers delivered with punch. Informative. Enjoyable. And fun.

ILovePhotoBlogs. A blog featuring photoblogs! Follow the photoblog updates and you'll soon have new additions for your RSS reader. ILovePhotoBlogs helps make photoblog discovery a click away. Found a few new views by following along myself. So many photoblogs, so little time to discover them all!

A tie for the third blog. Imaging Insider and Photo News Today. In the past two years the amount of photography news online has exploded. It's become very individual via blogging in addition to the more traditional photo news coverage provided by forums or magazine websites. Both Imaging Insider and Photo News Today do a good job at pulling together the day's news, events and oddites from the photosphere, both mainstream news and blog generated.

Those are my three excellent blogs! Hope you follow one or all four! If you want to join this meme, pick three of your favorite blogs and write them up!

In case you are wondering where I photographed my EEs at, it was at Winterthur in the enchanted forest.

We interrupt our regularly scheduled blog post to say a huge, happy "thank you!!!" to Deb of Aunt Debbi's Garden (http://auntdebbisgarden.blogspot.com/) for saying such wonderful things about us and Poor Richard's Almanac in her post, "Blogs I Dig." (And for putting us in such great company, too!) Aunt Debbi's posts make us laugh, and we love that. We love reading about her "putting the fear of Mom" into one of her kids, sending her spouse, Manly Man, out to do battle with a rosebush that's attacking the local schoolbus (it's not clear who won), or spending bazillion dollars to establish a good home for some "free" tadpoles, then watching in horror as a kid falls into the new water garden, the cats decide that she's set out an all-you-can-eat sushi bar just for them, and then the tadpoles mysteriously disappear... because they've eaten each other. We can't wait to read Aunt Debbi's latest adventures and misadventures, and we know you'll enjoy them, too. Just don't try reading her posts while you're drinking coffee! We're still trying to get the stains out of our shirts.

Seems like everyone wants to weigh in on the "No Woo in Worcester" question: Brendan's take on the issue over at RadioBall has gotten some great comments. One our favorites, from TacoJoe:

I thought I actually coined the name. I also thought I invented the internet and that the Earth was melting.

If calling out Womag for using “woo” is this guys biggest problem or even something he feels compelled to write about, he obviously does not live in the “woo” or as I am now officially calling it ” The Ster”. Yeah, suck on that Zoback!

Jeff at Wormtown Taxi has also weighed in, bringing up a good point: WooTaxi would just sound silly.

In other news, we're proud to have gotten some love from a couple of our favorite local bloggers: Jeff gave us one of his 'Excellent Blog' awards; Claudia Snell (kind of) gave us similar recognition. Thanks guys, we truly appreciate it.

Close up of Daisey in the Lawn

Further to my post of the 20th February (where did the last 7 days go??) I am passing on the "excellent" that Threadspider gave me to the following blogs.

I have listed these excellent blogs on both my blogs, so there is a mix of textile art and gardening - (and I am afraid I am a couple of days later posting here)

Seth at the Altered Page

He writes a very interesting blog, I particularly enjoyed his pulse series of interviews.

Jude at Spirit Cloth - her blog and her stitching are a mediation

Michelle Ward - whose work I think is amazing and she is so generous, with links, techniques and her writing.

Monica Magness at Girl gone Thread Wild. My experience of Monica's blog is one of such joy and vibrancy. In particular the Artists Squares she has organized.

Kate Smudges - who has just celebrated her first anniversary with her blog Kate Smudges in Earth Paint and Life. I feel Kate's blog is like sitting down with a friend for a cup of tea.

Also - Sandy at Garden Path. I have only recently started following Sandy's blog and I am enjoying her images and her Haiku.

As you can see by the picture above - Daisies are starting to grow in the lawn ... Spring must be here!
