this episode continues with the brother reunion scene.

dong chul and dong wook then ride on the motorcycle together, which I find incredibly adorable. It’s like dong wook had taken on all the responsibilty, but now he can act a bit younger again.

“From now on, even though fate tries to separate us, we will always be together!”
ah, the pain for the viewers, knowing that they aren’t even real brothers..

the villagers are all in the tent area.
dong wook comes home!
ki sun, jung ja, and chun hee are all happy. They were not even sure if dong wook would ever come home alive.
another reunion scene♥ chun hee and dong wook! Its very sweet ; ___ ;

and then dong wook tells her who else is coming back.
DONG CHUL♥
chun hee is in shock and cant believe it, but dong wook steps aside. And all the villagers do. And there is dong chul.

chun hee has a flashback to ki chul. She can not belive that dong chul is dong chul.
she waves him over to her. He walks really slowly (why torture me like this? just hug already!!)
before they even reach each other they are both crying. Finally, dong chul stops about a foot away from chun hee.

“Where have you been? Why did you come this late? Where did you go? How did you come back? Have you lost your voice like before? Have you lost your voice?”
“Mother!”
“yes, I’m here, your mom is here!”
“mother, I’m sorry!”
“I’m not going anywhere. Welcome home.”

shin tae hwan’s father in law on the phone with someone important.
as soon as he is off the phone, shin tae hwan and his wife come in.

taesung company is in trouble because myung hun used fored against the people.
the father in law says to pay compensation to the people and solve the problem.

meanwhile, myung hun and wang gun are preparing to attack again.

myung hun refuses to sit in the car. He wants to be part of the action.
the villagers prepare themselves. (dong chul is now in the crowd too)
dong chul walks forward. Myung hun seems unable to recognize him. Until it finally dawns on him. Wang gun confirms that it is dong chul. So wang gun sends the men out. Dong chul then singlehandedly defeats like 4 guys.

and then he recognizes wang gun. (and then ki sun recognizes him!)

dong chul tells myung hun to go home.
myung hun says lots of bad things about dong chul while chun hee and dong wook listen in the crowd..

myung hun then says he used to envy dong wook having such a tough brother. But now he knows that he hates dong chul for calling his father a murderer. (oh it will all be so tiwsted when they find out the truth about switcing babies.)
the police arrive!
shin tae hwan’s sidekick runs in and tells myung hun that he has been ordered to leave because reporters and politicians are on their way.
the villagers cheer when wang gun calls for a retreat.

young ran. Once again, talking into her recorder about dong chul. (who else thinks that someone is going to find that recorder later? ^^)
she says shes going crazy worrying about dong chul. When she sees her father get home, she runs downstairs.

Her father can see right rhough all her excuses and knows she was only waiting up to hear about dong chul.
pres gook says that dong chul made him cry. Aww ^^

president gook talks on the phone with pres min.

apparently, the itnernational hotel project went to some other company. Pres gook is pissed off. Like really pissed. (I know becacuse dramatic music is playing.)

hye rin’s mom is at her apartment.

her mom says that dong wook is gone bc he’s serving in the army.

myung hun sits next to ji hyun’s empty hospital bed. The priest and trait station master took ji hyun away. Myung hun’s mom let them. Because she sees that what her son is doing is wrong.
“Why did you do such a thing? Do you know what you did?”
“Yes, that’s my love. That’s the love I cannot give up!”

chun hee sits alone in her room looking at a picture of ki chul.
dong chul sits in dong wook’s room, watching over him. (because he is so injured)
dong wook tells dong chul to go talk to chun hee.
----------
dong chul goes outside to look at the birds in the birdcage.
ki sun tells dong chul to just listen to his mother obediently.
jung ja tells him that she missed him.
ok hee comes up and lectures dong chul about not greeting his mother formally yet.

finally, dong chul goes in to bow to his mother. She tells him to bow to his father instead. So he does. But then he bows to chun hee.

he asks her to punish him for being a bad son. She hands him a box. With all the money he sent to their family through the priest.
she then questions him about all of myung hun’s accusations. (which are not all true! He did not steal money or stow away on a ship or betray anyone on purpose!)
jung ja and ok hee rush in to calm down chun hee.
then dong wook comes in. dong chul stops them from telling chun hee that he only escaped from prison to get the money for her surgery.
but she realizes it herself.

“I sold my son to save my life? I sold my oldest son and kept my worthless life?”
Chun hee can not stand that myung hun and wang gun were mocking dong chul when it is all really her own fault.
she pretends to be angry at jung ja, but she is really angry at herself.
“I threw him in the sewer to save my life. I’m the mother who must hang her head in shame.”

chun hee confronts dong chul about it. She asks if he is going to live differently from now on.
he basically says no. he is going to get power. Because hw knows now that that is the only way to really get back at shin tae hwan.
(I kept imagining kim bum in this scene and thinking that he would be so much better here…)
chun hee says that dong chul will be an obstacle in dong wook’s life bc he is a bad person. Dong chul yells at her that it was not the law that released dong wook. It was power.
chun hee tells dong wook to never look at dong chul.

And she won’t either.
“You are no longer the son of lee ki chul!”
the rest of his family begs him not to leave, but he does.

(after one final moment with the birdcage.)

dong chul then motorcycles back to pres gook’s house. Where those suspicious guys from before are waiting for him. As he is not exactly in a good mood right now, he fights pretty well. So the guys drive away. But he sees the man in the backseat. (Kim tae son? Pres gook’s backstabbing employee?)

young ran runs out. She is just mean to dong chul like normal. With all the hunting dog what not.

shin tae hwan is happily on the phone.

apparently, “Lee Dong Wook needs to be educated” because he wants to fight the government.

jung ja, ki sun, and ok hee sit outside chun hee’s room.

The priest talks to dong wook. Dong wook begs him to let him see ji hyun. The priest says ji hyun doesn’t want to see him.

the priest says if he really loves her, he needs to leave her alone.
dong wook bursts out of his room. Chun hee tries to stop him, but fails.

dong wook arrives at the church. Running pathetically with a limp and clutching his stomach, he bangs on a door calling ji hyun’s name.
ji hyun sits in the room with bandages on her wrists. She does not even move towards the door.
he can see her through the window, not moving at all. Not even turning to look at him.

he stays standing there even until it becomes dark outside. ;; ___ ;;
finally, he sadly limps away. Two men come and grab him to take hima way to the army.

fight scene. I have no idea who is who or what is going on. Except dong chul is there. And he is.. rescuing someone that calls him hyung. (his gang buddies?)
I’m sorry, I have real trouble following fight scenes.

men are getting out of prison.
Dok sa (the evil one from the gang, the one with big eyes that sold out dong chul to shin tae hwan a long long time ago?) gets out.
dong chul walks over. Dok sa is not happy to see him, and throws the tofu on the ground.
I’m not sure why dong chul is being nice to him.

dok sa says that if dong chul fixes his leg, he will betray him and stab him in the back. But then dok sa hugs him. I guess dong chul knew that because of his guilt for betraying him befre, dok sa will not betray him again?
(bc dok sa was a good guy.. remember when he gave dong chul the knife?)

ji hyun sits under a tree crying.

Her wrist is still bandaged. she clutches her stomach, she prob just found out she's pregnant.

dong wook is at an extreme army training camp which I would personally call torture.
we flash over to ji hyun. Who is pregnant.
we flash back to dong wook, getting beat up in the army.
back to ji hyun.
back to dong chul.
both just suffering. I hate these kind of scenes.

myung hun. He is suffering too, but at least his isn’t physical.

he has flashbacks to bad times with ji hyun.

ji hyun feels unable to love dong wook because she is pregnant with myung hun’s child.
the priest tells her to think about the people who love her. She says she can only think of myung hun, who says he loves her but did this to her.

ji hyun wants to kill herself, but the priest says that won’t solve anything and she needs to take care of the baby inside her.

ji hyun runs outside. She sees myung hun. (I am supposed to dislike him, right? But I just want to give him a hug ;; ___ ;;)
he says if he had the courage he would kill himself. Ji hyun tells him that he killed ji hyun. (I realize that sounds like it makes no sense, but its what she says.)

he begs her for forgiveness. She says he still does not know what pain is. And she walks away.

shin tae hwan and pres min talking about pres gook.

Pres gook is upset about the international hotel project. Shin tae hwan doesn’t care at all. He just wants to keep on moving along and getting richer.

pres min gets back to his office where pres gook is waiting for him. Pres min just sucks up to everybody with his words.

But he doesn’t really do anything for a lot of people. Only for whoever is able to give him more money.

dong chul arrives at the casino.
where young ran is being a dealer.

She says she wants to make it a quality casino by being a dealer, so the dealers arent all gangsters.

dong chul goes in to talk to kim tae son.
dong chul tries to be polite but that guy is angry. Dong chul apparently fired kim tae son’s buddies and hired his own. (but only because kim tae son’s buddies were stealing money.)
dong chul then directly confronts him and says “you ordered people to kill me.”
he continnues with accusations. Leading up to saying he saw him at a casino in macao. Kim tae son thinks this has to do with shin tae hwan so he flips out nervously. Dong chul says that he only saw him gambling.

and then pres gook comes in. dong chul leavs and pres gook talks to kim tae son.

dong chul runs up the stairs.
we then flash over to ok hee trying to get in to the casino. Young ran happens to see this, so she goes over.
back to dong chul. He turns on the security tvs so he can watch (and listen) to pres gook and kim tae son.
pres gook knows everything. He confrotns kim tae son. (dong chul still watching)
president gook continues to yell/lecture kim tae son. But in the end, he only gives him a warning.
dong chul sets some guy on kim tae son. To follow him for 24 hours.
----------
chun hee. At the church where ji hyun is. The priest tells her to leave, but she says dong wook told her to come and apologize.
ji hyun sees chun hee. She walks over.
chun hee says she is only there because dong wook told her to go apologize.
and that she has never even apologized to god, but because her son wants her to, she asks ji hyun for forgiveness.
ji hyun cries. Chun hee then tells ji hyun to stop bothering people around her and just marry shin myung hun so that dong wook won’t run away from the army. She wants dong wook to give up on her.
this pisses ji hyun off. She says chun hee only came to break her heart again.

ji hyun says that the reason she is like this is chun hee’s fault. Chun hee says it’s ji hyun’s fault for not giving up on dong wook.
ji hyun says she will never forget dong wook. And she vows to get chun hee back for all the pain that she has caused her.

I still really like this show ^^
although I still do not like the actor that plays president gook, his character is so good that I like him.
I am annoyed with chun hee for saying that stuff to ji hyun.
actually I am annoyed with all the characters except dong wook and dong chul.
and I really want something to happen with ki sun-wang gun!! They were so sweet together when she was little!
the preview looks intense.
cant wait! ^^

Big Boss 2 - Episode 12 - Villains in love story. Monica and Rahul nominated.

Game had already started last week. Rakhi, Rahul and Monica were part of group of three. Rakhi and Rahul got nominated last week and Rakhi had to go. That remains Monica and Rahul. "Achchi khasi love story chal rahi thi". Few villains appeared in the ongoing love story. Core members of another group (Ashutosh Kaushik, Raja Choudhary, and Zulfi Syed) and Peripheral members like Shambhavna Seth and Ahsaan Qureshi got together and nominated Monica Bedi and Rahul Mahajan. It's sure that this one will go this week. This will put cold water on brewing love story.

Btw, three members got penalty for breaking rules. They are Ashutosh Kaushik, Shambhavna Seth and Alina. Shambhavna and Alina were found to be talking without their microphones. Ashutosh was found to be adamant (as usual) in taking nap in afternoon.

As part of weekly activity, they got to form two political parties and select their leaders. Rahul was inclined for Monica, which frustrates Shambhavna. Shambhavana was taking names.

Als es in Shilla zu einem Aufstand kommt, kehrt Madam Jami zurück nach China und findet Unterkunft bei Meister Yi. Chang Kyum, Jung-hwas älterer Bruder, findet heraus, dass Goong-bok in Yangzhou ist, und dass dieser seine Schwester aus dem Gefängnis befreit hat. Er ist in Sorge, dass Madam Jami davon erfahren könnte. Er hasst Goong-bok seit Jahren und will verhindern, dass dieser Kontakt zu seiner Schwester hat. Darum bezahlt er ein paar Männer, die Goong-bok in der Nacht überfallen und töten sollen. Well nobody likes to lose hence naturally I am a little disappointed...but if I think about d larger picture then I guess m glad that i got out coz i didn’t feel any kinda connection with either of d boys...I was trying really hard throughout d show to find some damn similarity or something to attract me to them but it was all in vain...I guess I have gained as much as I could from d show n i have absolutely no regrets.

Reason for elimination?

I wish i knew why Varun wrote Shradha's name instead of Heena.... According to d circumstances it was obvious on Varun's part to put Heena in d safe zone which would have led to me winning d show according to d twist...but i really don’t know why he chose Shradha who he knew will never ever choose him in d end....lol…

I guess he just started thinking too much bout d game n lost out on simple logic....it was a big shock to not only me but everyone on d show that how could Varun choose Shradha knowing that she will never let him win n specially considering d fact that Varun was merely there to win d game.

My Name is Kim Samsoon Episode 12 Summary

Samsoon is at the resorts clinic after the encounter with the thief ang being saved by Cyrus. When the doctor left her, she is feeling confused if she is starting to fall in love wih Cyrus. When she saw a vase full of flowers she took a stem of it and started to pluck each petal and starts murmuring, "i love him, i love him not". When the last petal says "I love him", she cant believe it. So she got another one and starts all over again. She had pluck half the petals of the flower when she heard a piano playing. She follows it with the flower still in her hands. Cyrus was playing the piece "Ikaw" when she saw him. Oblivious that someone is watching him, he still continues to play the piece. At last, she finally finished plucking the petals. It tells her that she loves him, which stunned her. She looks at the petals intently and looking like she cant believe it. Finally she realizes that she indeed had already fallen in love with him.

Back at Mrs. Ruiz's office, she and her assistant has been imagining all the things that might happen with Samsoon and Cyrus, she then finally told Marcus to go the the resort and find out what is happening between his son and Samsoon. At the resort, Marcus is spying Samsoon and Cyrus, reporting everything to Mrs. Ruiz.

Eliza was able to befriend Aaron, her crush. She accidentally bumped into him at the library and asked for her help to tutor him. She also finds out that Ivy is not his girlfriend but his cousin that left Eliza fancying him all the more. He somehow invited him to his birthday party.

Samsoon tries to dress up for Cyrus but does not capture his attention. So she tries to cook for him.

Meanwhile, Cyrus is pissed off with his mother when she called him and told him to come back. She tells him that Samsoon is not the girl for him. Angrily, he hangs up on her. Enters Samsoon, she gives Cyrus a piece of the cake she baked. Still very angry, he told her to eat it herself, that left Samsoon very sad.

Eliza wants to buy the beautiful dress at the boutique for Aarons party. But Kokoy tells him that no matter what she wears, she'll still be beautiful. But she insists that she wants everybody to notice her especially Aaron that left Kokoy very sad and astonished that she is doing all this for Aaron. With this, he left her at the boutique.

Samsoon recieved a call from her mother and wants her to come back. She argued that she still cant. Sonia told her not to surrender her virginity to Cyrus or else... She told her she wont and she hangs up. When she returned inside, she noticed that the cake is smaller than before and sees a note saying "Delicious. Thank you. Cyrus". Leaving Samsoon very happy! Then, she heard Cyrus screaming, when she him, his right eye was swollen, he told him that he is allergic to nuts. And Samsoon had put almonds on the cake. She then told him that she doesn't know and she's sorry...

Next episode:

Samsoon and Cyrus are caught by Mrs. Ruiz on a very compromising situation! LOL!

Junjou Romantica - 12 (Finale)

After 12 weeks of looking forward to watching Junjou Romantica, the first season of this anime has finally come to an end. T_T

Lets hope that there will be a second season. Apparently, whether there will be a second season would all depend on the sales of the anime DVD, so lets all support them and hope a second season will be made!!! (I don't see why not, i mean, afterall, if companies are willing to make so many seasons and remakes of neo angelic abyss i am sure they would be willing to produce another season of such a good anime. I for one can't stand NAA)

So here comes my review for episode 12:
We are back to Misaki and Usagi again and this time we get to see their relationship progress even further. I liked the way that this episode was done, there is room for future episodes yet at the same time the series would not be incomplete if it were to end just like this. (But my life would feel incomplete. T_T do i hear other fangirls agreeing with me?)
The animation quality is making me feel slightly upset. Simply because there were too many awkward moments in the actions and movements of the characters. I have no idea why this is so since Studio DEEN (though not known for their impressive animation) is not an unknown studio. I expected better animation out of this series from the studio. Episode 12 was especially weird.

Season Review

I will now have to find some other anime to review about. I might go back to reviewing soul eater or something. I am hoping for a second season to come out and i will buy the DVDs (when they become available) so i hope that all the fangirls/boys will support the studio for a second season too.

Animation : Although the characters are beautiful and charming, that credit goes to the script writers, Shuungiku Nakamura and the character designer, not the animation studio as a whole. The animation is at most average. There were cute moments and the way the whole series was done was adorable, however, the fluidity of the movements and the faces of the characters were really awkward at times. Too much panning and too little movements, this is of course a not-so-good trademark of Studio DEEN. I just hope that if there is a second season, the animation would be better.

The Plot: I like the way they actually stuck to the manga and did not move too far away from it. Readers of the manga would know what to expect from the anime and will have little complaints. I really like this fact, so kudos to them! The chemistry between the characters cannot be ignored. It is the interaction between the characters that makes this anime such a huge success i would think. The pace of the anime is neither too slow nor too fast. I am sure that even some guys would be willing to watch this anime because it is just so adorable. (some being the operative word).

Overall: Overall, the comedy and romance between the 3 pairings in the stories is all very well done and i hope that there would be a second season.

Rating: 8/10 (i have to deduct points for the unimpressive animation)

Negative: 12 episodes is not enough to fully explore the relationship between these couples. The terrorist relationship just barely started out before the series ended. There are unanswered questions about Usagi's family. Finally, what happened to hiro and nowa? They just disappeared.

Junjo Romantica 12 (END)

Episode 12 brings to you "100% Usagi-san's fault"

As expected, they didn't do anything special for the last episode. They simply took the mini-chapter between the Osaka arc and the Haruhiko arc from the manga ... but by now that doesn't really matter. And since it has already been two weeks I've gotten over being pissed about Haruhiko (Usagi's brother, if you haven't figured yet) being mentionned in the episode when it's the last. No, I am not pissed about the series ending since I grateful enough Junjo has been animated.

But back on the Haruhiko thing, I guess some people can consider it a sign that there might be another season after all. I'm not going to hope ... since I refused to feel disappointed later on but if it happens I'll be happy as hell and that I won't deny.

If Misaki's planning on beating the bucket, it's failing.

MISAKI'S BREAKING PROCESS

Step One:

"There's no fucking way Nii-chan can believe such crap!"

Step Two:

*LE GASP*

Takahiro. Is. A. Gullible. Idiot.

*rolls eyes*

The last straw ...

Scratch that. I think this was the last straw. Junjo 12 brings to you MAN FRIENDSHIP! I'm sad it wasn't a man hug. That would've broken Misaki even more.

Step three:

(It was worst yesterday [my heart that is] when I watched the AX'08 Ouran Announcement Panel on youtube ... and since I don't think I'll be doing a Ouran post anytime soon let me just say that I'm extremely glad that Vic did indeed turn out to be voicing Tamaki. I'm expecting a lot from Ouran's dub ... and yes I will buy the DVD when it comes out on October 28th. How can I not after they announced the DVD having 13 episodes in it? Very very difficult to not want it)

With that happy note, Junjo Romantica is over. It was short-lived but fun while it lasted. This episode overall wasn't anything special and wasn't all that good either ... thought I'll admit Misaki was really cute this week ... or should I say two weeks ago? The best scene was obviously and undoubtedly Misaki trying to top Usagi and failing. The worst? Haruhiko being mentionned. Ugh.

Overall Series Review

Junjo turned out to be everything I hoped and thought and expected it to be. It didn't exceed my expections nor did it disappoint me in any way.

I'll admit I'm sad Terrorist only got two episodes but at least we got a Minimum episode. Chibi-Hiroki and Chibi-Usagi turned out being my favorite thing about the anime. You can't not love the cuteness and moe seeping out from the episode.

I got everything I wanted from the anime: Misaki epiphanies, Hiroki's tsundere-ness, and Shinobu "UNMEI DA!"s ... -sigh- I'm going to miss Shinobucchin and Hiro-tan a lot after this ...

If another season is going to happen, count me in.

Lelouch was looking at the reports that Sayoko wrote while thinking that the Knights of Rounds problem isn't cleared yet. He was shocked when he knew that he kissed Shirley. Sayoko who thought that it was fine to do that asked if something's wrong. She told him that if she didn't do it, the underground HQ will be discovered. Rolo scolded Sayoko that she acted too nice as a substitute. Viletta mumbled that the problem about the Knights of Rounds seems to have disappeared. Sayoko revealed tomorrow's schedule and had received 108 dates. Her reason was that she was ordered to handle human relationships smoothly and because of that Lelouch had only less than 3 hours of sleeping.

Meanwhile, Shirley was thinking about Lelouch while taking a shower. She asked Milly if they could discuss about something after this but Milly responded nothing and she seemed a bit troubled. And so, Lleouch had no choice but to follow the schedule. When he returned to Ashford, he tried to sneak away from Shirley but he was approached by Anya asking him if the picture of the young prince was Lelouch. He denied it. Then he was interrupted by Gino and chased by a group of girls. He accidentally bumped mad Shirley but fortunately, he was saved by Milly who was announcing that there'll be Cupid Day on her graduation day. Everyone will wear heart-shaped hats, and when a girl takes a boy's hat and puts it own, the two will be forced to become a couple.

Somewhere at the meeting room, the Knight of One Bismark told Schnizel, Odysseus, Guinevere and Carine that the Emperor decided to declare war on the Chinese Federation. Guinevere thought it's unforgivable for shaming Odysseus eventhough he didn't mind. Guinevere felt that things would have been easily settled if Cornelia was there. They asked who'll lead the army and so, Schnizel stepped out and took command. Bismark reported what Schnizel had said to the Emperor.

Cornelia had been assaulting where Bartley was single-handedly and she promised to clear Euphy's name. She jumped out while Bartley were discussing. He told her that they were forced to be there by the Emperor. Gino tried to convince Suzaku to come to Milly's graduation day but he had to attend a meeting. Guilford told Suzaku to call Milly later. Suzaku was surprised because it was unexpected. Lloyd interrupted and started to discuss about Guren. Kallen who was locked up at the moment was being visited by Nunnaly.

In the underground HQ, Lelouch decided to deal with all the girls on Cupid Day. He wanted Villetta to take his hat but that will cause a misunderstanding and she suggested taking Shirley's instead. But, Lelouch did not want to involve Shirley anymore. Milly announced the entire school that whoever brings her Lelouch's hat will get their club budget increased ten-fold. Everyone was chasing Lelouch to get the increase budget.

Lelouch was safe in the library until a girl managed to take his hat. He had to use his Geass to get his hat back. He changed his position with Sayoko in disguise. Sayoko managed to avoid the students with her ninja moves. Lelouch warned her not to do that as Lelouch was known as weak. The ‘seduction/slut' club tried to seduce him but he shouted that he's not interested in women's bodies. Thing started to go out of control as Anya used Mordred to catch Lelouch which made Suzaku and the Brittanians on alert.

Mordred crashed in where Shirley was. Lelouch grabbed Shirley and fell down the nearby stairs. Lelouch and Shirley were alone. He couldn't make up a reason why he kissed her. She forgave him and asked him to close his eyes. He thought that Shirley was going to kiss him but she pinched his cheeks instead. Guilford was confused. Gino told them that it was just an event that the school made. After Milly graduated, she took a job as a TV weather forecaster and cancelled her engagement with Lloyd while Lloyd was laughing out loud. Milly wanted to show Nina that she'll have her on way.

The following day, Shirley was walking through the streets and suddenly a blue wave occurred. It came from Jeremiah's left eye. V.V called it the Geass Canceller which is the destroyer of all Geass. This caused Shirley to regain her memory back that Zero killed her father.

Thoughts:

Now we know that Sayoko was the 37th generation of a ninja clan. Have you realised that the animation quality is bad compare to previous episodes? The only part that made me go "ooohhh" and "ahhhh" is when Jeremiah revealed his Geass. I don't really like the idea of ShirleyxLelouch. I don't know why and come to think of it, C.C hadn't appeared in this episode. Shocking. The 'slut' club really cracked me up.

Just watched Code Geass ep12, it was hilarious, but also dug into the meat of the story. Most importantly, Orange's new ability is revealed: a geass canceler, which was used on Shirley. You know what that means...

Anyways, I really like Shirley's character and I hope she gets a happy ending...

Fort de toutes ces informations, j'en savais désormais plus sur ce qui me pendait au nez ! Je n'irais pas jusqu'à dire que j'envisageais l'avenir sur un air radieux et parfaitement serein, mais il est sûr que cette visite m'avait un peu regonflé le moral. Ce qui m'était tombé dessus était certes un coup du sort qui allait modifier profondément mon existence et celle de mon entourage. C'était maintenant un fait acquis... le mal était là, poursuivant inexorablement sa destruction, sans aucune issue de secours... juste une question de temps. Je devais continuer à vivre avec une nouvelle perception de mon avenir, sans toutefois tomber dans un état de dépression dont il était sans doute fatal et naturel d'y sombrer !

Les sentiments qui m'habitaient alors sont aujourd'hui difficiles à décrire, car les années ont passées et les souvenirs se sont estompés. Je me souviens cependant que j'en étais arrivé à une certaine forme de fatalisme, en acceptant finalement, avec une sorte de détachement, cette nouvelle situation, comme si je la vivais en spectateur externe de ma propre vie. Peut être que cela était une forme d'autodéfense, plus de l'inconscience que du courage ?

Je me raisonnais aussi en me disant que j'étais finalement assez chanceux, dans mon malheur, que cela m'arrive seulement à la quarantaine et non pas quelques décennies plus tôt ! Au niveau professionnel, j'avais fait le plus dur du chemin : ayant démarré au bas de l'échelle, j'avais réussi à atteindre le niveau cadre en une vingtaine d'années. De ce côté-là, je n'avais donc pas trop de soucis et mon métier de comptable/informaticien n'était pas de nature à être incompatible avec des traitements répétitifs, lourds et fastidieux.

Sur le plan familial, pas d'inquiétude non plus, bien que mon épouse se faisait sans doute plus de soucis sur mon sort que moi-même ! Quant à mes deux enfants, ils sortaient juste de l'adolescence et je devais seulement continuer à les aider à poursuivre leurs études, ce qui ne devait pas poser de problèmes majeurs étant donné l'assurance d'une continuité certaine de mon activité professionnelle.

J'avais également, si les pronostics du professeur étaient exacts, un certain délai avant d'en arriver au stade terminal. Là aussi, on pouvait considérer ce laps de temps comme une chance de pouvoir se préparer psychologiquement au pire ! J'aurai l'occasion, plus tard, de côtoyer des insuffisants rénaux qui ont été transférés en dialyse en urgence, quasiment du jour au lendemain, à la suite d'une destruction foudroyante de leurs reins ! La situation n'est certainement pas la même... je peux aisément comprendre le sentiment de panique et d'incompréhension que pouvaient ressentir ces malades.

Voilà un résumé des sentiments que j'ai ressenti à mes débuts et qui allaient perdurer, en fait, tout au long de mon parcours d'IRC.

Les mois ont passé, sans grands changements dans mes habitudes de vie. J'arrivais, tant bien que mal, à oublier par moments que l'épée de Damoclès était suspendue au dessus de ma tête. Je me sentais, à nouveau, dans la peau d'un malade, à chacune de mes visites trimestrielles à l'hôpital pour des contrôles sanguins et un tête à tête avec mon professeur qui faisait le point sur l'étendue de mon affection. C'est là où j'ai commencé à redouter la sanction du taux de cette fichue créatinine ! Celle-ci grimpait doucement mais sûrement, sans aucune baisse ni recul, me laissant, à chaque fois, moralement abattu pour quelques jours. Et puis, l'habitude aidant, je repartais sur les rails avec une confiance retrouvée en me disant que ce n'était pas encore pour cette fois ci !

Jang-Geum figures out the Prince's illness is due to the combination of medication given by the Royal Physician which contain nugmet oil (taken with high dosage can caused numbness) and a combination of ginseng with soybean porridge which acted as an enhancer that caused the Prince's numbness. Jang-Geum discovers the reason by experimenting the combination herself. Thus the Royal Physician was able to find the antidote for the Prince after finding out what the cause was. The King orders his subordinates to reward Jang-Geum. Gam is let go, thanks to Jang-Geum's rescue. Jung Sang Goon suffers from a weak health so she may have to step down from her post. It's Jae Jo Sang Goon's birthday and traditionally the subordinate's Sang Goon has to cook feast for her. Choi Sang Goon brings food and presents to Jae Jo Sang Goon to please her. Han Sang Goon cooks up birthday feast with help from Jang-Geum since Jung Sang Goon is weak and losing her taste palate. Jae Jo Sang Goon yells at Jung Sang Goon after tasting the food saying it's horrible and disrespectful. Jung Sang Goon tells Jang-Geum the problem doesn't lie in the food. Jang-Geum then discovers she can't taste saltiness in food. Choi Sang Goon asks the medicine lady about Jung Sang Goon's health and finds out Jung Sang Goon suffers from weak legs which will eventually worsen her health. Choi Sang Goon tells her brother to help her push Jung Sang Goon out so she can be the next kitchen supervisor.

Jang-geum asks the medicine lady about her inability to taste saltiness and the medicine that she had been taking,The medicine lady tells jang-geum to wait since she might still be under the influence of the food poison.Jang-geum borrows more books about medicine from Master Min jung-ho. Choi sang goon bribes jae jo sang goon's servant to help persuade jae jo sang goon to make choi sang goon the successor of jung sang goon.

Jung sang goon tells the king it's time for her to retire since she's getting old and ill.Jung sang goon asks the king if it's okay to set up a cooking contest between han sang goon and choi sang goon to determine who should be the next supervisor.Jae jo sang goon and choi sang goon become very angry that jung sang goon went about the matter on her own. Jung sang goon tells han sang goon that she has done everything she could and tells han to trust her own skills and have no fear.Han sang goon tells jang-geum that jung sang goon risked her life to give han the opportunity because jung sang goon does not want the palace where food is prepared to ever become a place for anything else. Han sang goon tells jang-geum she intends to stir up courage from within to win the contest and asks Jang-geum to be her assistant. Jang-geum tells han sang goon that she can't because she lost her taste in food, since she ate the ginseng combination.Han sang goon tells jang-geum to wait like what the medicine lady had said but jang-geum says it's been over 10 days and still there is no sign of recovery.Han sang goon takes jang-geum to seek medical advice outside of the palace.The doctor tells them there isn't much they can do and it may take 10 years or 20 years for the taste buds to get its taste back.Han sang goon takes jang-geum to a second doctor who also gives them the same answer.Jang-geum then tells han sang goon to give up on her.Han sang goon tells jang-geum she needs her.On their way back they stop by to buy fresh fish in the market place.The fish merchant, who is blind, recognizes Han sang goon by her voice and picks out the freshest fish for Han sang goon by touch.Day and night jang-geum tastes as much food as she can think of to see if her taste buds have recovered.Jang-geum cries out aloud at her loss.Han sang goon watches and weeps as well.Han sang goon remembers how the fish merchant picked out the freshest fish and realizes something.Jung sang goon tells choi sang goon and han sang goon to each pick out an assistant.Choi sang goon picks geum-young and han sang goon picks jang-geum.
