Bismillah.

This dua is very special to me. You can say that this is my favorite dua. I try to make it every time in prayer before the tasleem .

In the hadith of Ali [RA] on the description of how Allah's Messenger [SAWS] used to pray, he reported that at the end of what he said between the tashahhud and the tasleem was:

Transliteration (hover your mouse for translation)

Allahumm-maghfirlee ma qaddamtu
wa ma akh-khartu
wa ma asrartu
wa ma aa'lantu
wa ma asraftu
wa ma anta aa'lamu bihi min-nee
wa antal mu-akh-khiru

Al Muqaddim - The One who hastens or speeds whatever He wills/The First
Al Muakh-khir - The One who delays or slows whatever He wills/The Last

We're asking for forgiveness for everything: for things we did, things we'll do, things we conceal, things we reveal, things we do over-excessively, and for things we don't even know exist within us (e.g. the disease of arrogance that lurks amongst most of us, but most of us are sadly unaware of)...Ya Salaam! What an amazing dua!

Also, keep in mind that the Prophet [SAWS] made a similar dua for his ummah in EVERY prayer.

Memorize. This. Dua.

WAllahu alam.

Our life is a test, and therefore not meant to always be easy and enjoyable. When beset with difficulties in the cause of Allah, we need only to remind ourselves:

“And whosoever believes in Allaah, He guides his heart aright.” Means, “Whosoever - when afflicted with a affliction - knows it is by the Decree of Allaah and His Power, and thus patiently submits to it, then Allaah rewards such a person by guiding their heart aright. So this is the root cause of all happiness, and the foundation of excellence in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allaah promises such a person (a reward) for what He has taken from them.” And Allaah’s saying: “And Allaah has full knowledge over everything,” is a reminder that such a affliction is by His Knowledge which necessitates His Wisdom, which obligates sabr and being contented with His Decree." (Read article)

In coping with difficulties:

"Know that reflective thoughts are not themselves harmful; rather what becomes harmful are constant (obsessive) ponderings. A thought about something is like a passer-by, if you do not call him, he will pass you by and go upon his way. However, if you call him, he will dupe and deceive you by his speech, and this is the easiest thing to do for the nafs that is filled with falsehood. However, it is the most difficult thing to bear for the nafs that is contended... victory comes with patience and whoever remains patient and has taqwaa (fear and consciousness) of Allaah, then he will be granted the upperhand in this life and in the next. This is the law of Allaah that never changes." (Listen here)

Keep in mind:

"In liberal societies, people attempt to find true satisfaction by engaging in a wide variety of endeavours. However, many honest people living this reality recognize that there is still something crucial missing in their lives, even though many of their activities might actually be beneficial in nature. What these people are feeling is an instinctive yearning the Creator has placed within them to know that they were created to worship and serve the Creator, even when carrying out their day-to-day activities.

People who turn away from their natural disposition to realize this matter often suffer from bouts of worry and depression, as is witnessed in the high suicide rates found in liberal countries. Indeed, liberal lifestyles help create temporary forms of satisfaction, but are instrumental in keeping people away from what their Creator has ordained for them. Although mankind is capable of discovering temporary forms of contentment in life, our limited ability to perceive absolute truth by ourselves keeps us from knowing how to achieve true and lasting satisfaction in this life and the next...

In this era, many people follow humanist conjecture and seek out various forms of worship in a mistaken bid to satisfy their natural yearnings to worship and serve the Creator. This failed effort causes many people to hold on to the religion they found their forefathers following in a nominal way, accepting and rejecting from it whatever they want. Many present-day Jews and Christians react to their religions in this manner, due primarily to their awareness that the beliefs they inherited contain human additions and deletions which came about through time and historical experience.

Some people reject formal religions entirely, not realizing that their liberalist beliefs also constitute a set of religious beliefs that they apply in their lives. Others turn to experimentation with exotic religions and philosophies such as Buddhism and Yoga, or become completely immersed in fanatical cults of one sort or another.

Those who prefer to conjecture in religious matters or turn away from God completely actually cover their natural disposition in this regard and deprive themselves of the opportunity to experience ultimate satisfaction. Just as our bodies have certain natural needs such as the need to eat and drink, our Creator has also endowed us with an innate drive to worship and serve Him. As such, true, lasting contentment can only come about through remembrance of the Creator in the manner he has prescribed, and sincerity of purpose to Him:

( Those who believed, and whose hearts find rest in the remembrance of Allah: Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest. )

Duaa for Anxiety & Sorrow:

‘O Allaah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant, my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You name Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur’aan the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety.’

Do not take for granted the month of Ramadan.

Do not wait until it has come to educate and re-educate yourself on the rulings of Ramadan.

Allah has blessed you with this month. Prepare yourself.

"From the great favors and bounties that Allaah has bestowed upon His servants is that He has prepared for them meritous occasions so that they may be of profit for those who obey Him and a race for those who rush to compete (for good deeds). These meritous occasions are times for fulfilling hopes by exerting in obedience and uplifting flaws and deficiencies by self-rectification and repentance. There is not a single occasion from these virtuous times, except that Allaah has assigned in it works of obedience, by which one may draw close to Him. And Allaah possesses the most beautiful things as gifts, which He bestows upon whomsoever He wills by His Grace and Mercy.

So the one who achieves true happiness is he who takes advantage of these virtuous months, days and hours and draws closer to His Guardian in them, by doing what is prescribed in them from the acts of obedience." (read article)

Increasing Worship in Ramadan

“Verily! We have sent it (this Qur'aan) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree). And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is? The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allaah in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months). Therein descend the angels and the Rooh [Jibreel (Gabriel)] by Allaah's Permission with all Decrees, Peace! (All that night, there is Peace and Goodness from Allaah to His believing slaves) until the appearance of dawn.”(Sooratul-Qadr, 97)

States Shaykh ‘Abdullaah al-Bukharee, “The Month of Ramadaan is the month of obedience to Allaah, the time the people have to bring themselves to Allaah. Many people think that Ramadaan is the month of being lazy and laid back. That is not the month of Ramadaan, it is the month of working hard, keeping away from sins, keeping away from desires. The month of Ramadaan is the best month. It is the time that Allaah revealed the Qur’aan. It is the time when Jibreel (radiyallaahu anhu) came to Muhammad (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) and taught him the Qur’aan…”

Reading the Qur’aan in Ramadaan

“…The salafus-saalih (righteous predecessors) used to try to finish the Qur’aan every three days, or every seven or every ten. Also, it was narrated that Imaam ash-Shaafi’ee finished the Qur’aan in one night. It is very important that one tries to push oneself to read the Qur’aan and to more than one would normally do. We know that Ramadaan is the month that Allaah revealed the Qur’aan. How can a Muslim stay away from the Qur’aan? How can person go a day or two or three without opening the Qur’aan?

…This was the character of the Salafus-Saalih that they would become awestruck when they heard the Qur’aan. So, brothers and sisters, try to increase in reading the Qur’aan in this blessed month of Ramadaan. If you are read Qur’aan in the month of Ramadaan you will receive more reward than the other months.”

Increasing the Du’aa in Ramadaan

al-Haakim stated in his 'Mustadrak' from the hadeeth of Alee Ibn Abee Taalib (radiyallaahu anhu) from the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam) that he said, "Supplication is the weapon of the believer, the pillar of the religion, and the light of the heaven and earth." (Abu Ya`laa [no. 439], Ibn Adee [2/296], al-Haakim [1/492] and al-Qudaa`ee [no. 143])

“Du’aa was the habit of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu ’alayhi wa sallam). Increase in du’aa to Allaah, the one who does this is like the one who is at a door, eventually someone will answer him. Likewise the one who supplicates to Allaah, is like the one who knocks a door, he will soon receive an answer. Keep in mind; the du’aa without actions is nothing. Do not just make du’aa and believe that you will be fine. You should make du’aa and worship Allaah. One of the salaf said, ‘the example one who makes du’aa but doesn’t act upon his du’aa is like the one who has a weapon with ammunition.’ So you must have du’aa and you must have actions and worship Allaah.”

Salaatul-Layl (The Night Prayer) in Ramadaan

Aboo Hurayrah narrated that Allah's Messenger said: "Whoever establishes prayers during the nights of Ramadaan faithfully out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards (not for showing off), all his past sins will be forgiven." (Saheehul-Bukhaaree, Kitabul-Eemaan, Hadeeth No. 36)

“Remember, the one who stands in the night of ‘laylatul-qadr’ will have the reward of 83 years. You have to strive hard, give up sleep and this may not be sweet in the dunyaa but it will be sweet in the hereafter. One must have patience in obeying Allaah and patience in staying away from sins. The person who is the loser, is the one who doesn’t become closer to Allaah in this month. (Listen to lecture on Ramadan)

Ramadan is a gift from our Creator, Al-Kareem, to purify ourselves and draw closer to Him. Learn more about this blessed opportunity before it arrives. Arm yourselves with Ilm in order to earn the most beneficial rewards set aside for you by Allah.

Bismillah.

This is a dua that I've been making a lot recently. I find it so comprehensive and complete. In sha Allah, it'll be of immense benefit.

And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes (i.e. those who please us immensely), and make us leaders for the pious."

[audio=http://www.versebyversequran.com/data/Husary_128kbps/025074.mp3][AlFurqan:74]

WAllahu alam, but I've seen that the happiest couples are those who are pleased with each other. And the happiest parents are those who are pleased with their children. Most of the times, this pleasure results from a strong attachment to the Deen of Allah [SWT] and a strong desire to do something to aid it.

May Allah give us what is mentioned in the dua, ameen.

P.S. (added 15/07/08) :

On the same note of marriage, please read this very beneficial excerpt:

People may say that you and I are not married because we are too fussy, or difficult to get along with, etc. etc. and perhaps we can analyze what they are saying and if we conclude that they are correct, then we can work hard towards rectifying that aspect of our character for the Pleasure of Allah. But having done that, we have to realize, that ultimately, we are not married because Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta’ala has Willed for us to be single at this point in time.

Now we have a choice. Either we can lose sleep over it, beat ourselves up every day, and feel really sorry for ourselves.
Or we can recognize that the time we have on our hands is a gift from Allah, an amaanah, not to be wasted in counter-productive thoughts and futile tears and fears.

Sister Umm Imran has been on trial since February 2008 under the terrorism act. She spent one year and two months in prison away from herchildren, until she was granted bail. Now the jury are out to make a decision on her future and its down to us to show our support by making du'aa for her and her family. The sister and her family have suffered immensely and this next week is crucial to her future.

I cant stress enough the importance of everyone making du'aa for them, as this is the most powerful weapon we have. She needs our support right now and has a right to our support. So please brothers and sisters, make du'aa and remember she is OUR sister and a prison is not the place for her. Her place is with her family, especially her children.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

"One who helps a fellow Muslim in removing his (or her) difficulty in this world, Allah will remove the former's distress on the Day of Judgement. He who helps to remove the hardship of another, will have his difficulties removed by Allah in this world and the hereafter. One who covers the shortcomings of another Muslim will have his faults covered up in this world and the next by Allah. Allah continues to help a servant, so long as he goes on helping his own brother (or sister). Muslim

We will all be called to account and asked what we did for our brothers and sisters that are suffering around us, the least we can do is make du'aa for them.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Allah's Apostle said, "Help your brother, whether he is an oppressor or he is an oppressed one." Sahih Bukhari

Narrated Muawiya bin Suwald: I heard Al-Bara' bin 'Azib saying, "The Prophet (peace be upon him) orders us to do seven things and prohibited us from doing seven other things." Then Al-Bara' mentioned the following:-- (1) To pay a visit to the sick (inquiring about his health), (2) to follow funeral processions, (3) to say to a sneezer, "May Allah be merciful to you" (if he says, "Praise be to Allah!"), (4) to return greetings, (5) to help the oppressed, (6) to accept invitations, (7) to help others to fulfill their oaths." Sahih Bukhari

Our brothers and sisters who are being tested severely right now need to know that we are supporting them. If they invoke Allah against us for the lack of support that we have offered and the lack of du'aas we've made for them then how will we face Allah?

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet (peace be upon him) sent Mu'adh to Yemen and said, "Be afraid, from the curse of the oppressed as there is no screen between his invocation and Allah." Sahih Bukhari.

We belittle these actions so much, they are in need of our support and let us be the ones to be there for them and ask Allah to release our sister and be with her family where she belongs.

For all those sisters who sleep peacefully with your children with no fear of being separated from, put yourself in this sisters place. How would you feel knowing that you could be separated from your children the next day? Or the day after? Do you think that she sleeps at night?

For those sisters who spend their days with their children, take them to school, take them to the park, make dinner for them and feed them, put yourself in this sisters place. How would you feel if you couldn't take your kids to school, or to the park or feed them, but instead you have to sit in a court room awaiting a decision to be made which can change your whole life.

We are one Ummah and she is our sister and we should not forget her pain and should constantly pray for her and offer her our support.

Al-Nu'man bin Bashir, may Allah be pleased with him, reported:
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said: "The similitude of believers in regard to mutual love, affection, fellow-feeling is that of one body; when any limb of it aches, the whole body aches, because of sleeplessness and fever." Sahih Muslim.

Ya Allah please bestow your mercy upon our sister Umm Imran and her family, forgive them, keep them patient, thankful and strong. Grant her the ability to be pleased with what Allah has decreed. Keep her heart steadfast upon Your deen. Ya Allah purify their hearts and make this a time to make her closer to Allah. Ya Allah release her from the hands of the oppressors. Return her to her family peacefully. Grant her happiness after her sorrow.
Bismillaah

Bismillaah

Bil. Cykel. Barnvagn. And the list goes on...

Date Written: 5 April 2008

A year complete on 24 April this year (08)
A year since the arrests of those 6 sincere
Dawn raids were carried out on the very same day
Their wives and their children stood shocked all the way

Was it hectic, frustrating or unbelievable – you and I don’t know
Only those who have been through it would be able to show
How their children must’ve felt, when the fathers were taken away
How their wives would await their arrival every second, every day

To Paddington Green Police station they were then taken
They were accused of raising funds for purposes of terrorism
Solitary Confinement, they were kept in for hours and days
Strip searched were their rights, CCTV cameras were in their way

But the number did not pause on the sincere 6 brothers
2 more were arrested from their prison cells to join the others
Financial documents were taken from their homes for research
‘Just in case’ they raised funds to bomb a synagogue or a church!

Their names need not mentioning, it won’t be of any benefit
For your duty is towards them no matter where they sit
All you need to know is that they are your brothers who are not free
Open your ears and eyes, so that you may hear them and see

19 days left till the year is complete
Their verdicts will be sooner – possibly next week
Remember them in your du’aas even if you don’t know them for sure

My husband was telling me about the halaqa the brothers did yesterday. I love halaqas where the attendees actually speak, because one thing leads to another - you discuss a lot of different topics without even planning to and everyone participates and is engaged.

Anyways, so he mentioned that they talked about this amazing du'aa`:

which roughly means:

‘O Allaah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am You servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.’

Whoever recites this with conviction in the evening and dies during that night shall enter Paradise, and whoever recites it with conviction in the morning and dies during that day shall enter Paradise, Al-Bukhaari 7/150. Other reports are in An-Nasaa'i and At-Tirmidhi.

SubhaanAllah, isn't that amazing? Of course, that doesn't mean you give up other good deeds...but such simple things like dhikr give you so much ajr!

I was thinking about this some more later....look at the meaning of what you're saying: "I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can. " If we can honestly recite this du'aa`, then that is an amazing thing, and I can see why you would have Jannah...

Abdullah bin ‘Amr bin al-‘Aas - radiyallaahu anhu - said, that he heard Allah’s Messenger - sallallaahu alaihi wa sallaam - saying, “All the hearts of the offspring of Aadam are between two fingers of Ar-Rehman’s Fingers, as one heart. He turns it (in any direction) as He wills. Then Allah’s Messenger said, “O Allah! The Turner of the hearts, turn our heart towards Your obedience.”

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmathullahi wa barakathuhu,

Often we hear the complaints such as "I do a lot of du'aa' but none of them is answered" / "Please do duas for me, cos mine is not accepted and may be your would be accepted" / "for so long I have prayed and cried in du'aa but nothing works" / "I do a lot of sins, how can I make du'aa's?" and so on and so forth. So how do we go about it? Should we stop asking du'aa's since we feel that our du'aas' are not answered and have we really looked from all the directions? where is the fault? Islamqa.com gives a detailed solution insha Allah. Read it before you make your next du'aa. And in your du'aa's include me :) and the team of Islamqa also.May Allah protect us all, forgive our sins and grant us His abundant mercy. Aameen.

Mistakes that prevent du’aa’ from being accepted

Question:
There are many mistakes that happen with regard to du’aa’ and prevent the du’aa’ from being accepted. What are these mistakes?.

Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.

The mistakes that may be made in du’aa’ are very many; most of them come under the heading of transgression in du’aa’, such as:

1 – When the du’aa’ includes shirk or association of others with Allaah, such as calling upon someone or something other than Allaah along with Him, whether it is a person, a tree or a grave, because du’aa’ is an act of worship and directing it towards anyone other than Allaah is shirk, and shirk is the worst of sins by which Allaah is disobeyed. In the hadeeth it says: Which sin is worst before Allaah? He said: “To appoint a rival to Allaah, when He has created you.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari and Muslim.

2 –When the du’aa’ includes some innovated means of tawassul (seeking to draw closer to Allaah), such as tawassul by means of the person of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) or by his status. Islam is based on following, not on innovating.

3 – Wishing for death because of a calamity that has befallen one. In the hadeeth it is narrated that Khabbaab (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “Were it not that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade us to pray for death, I would have prayed for it.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (6350) and Muslim (2681).

In the hadeeth it says: “No one of you should wish for death because of some harm that has befallen him. If he must wish for it, then let him say: ‘O Allaah, keep me alive so long as living is good for me, and cause me to die when death is good for me.’” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (6531) and Muslim (2680).

4 – Praying for the punishment to be hastened. It is better to ask Allaah to keep us safe and sound in this world and in the Hereafter. When the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) saw a Muslim man who was sick and had grown feeble like a chicken. The Messenger of Allaah (S) said to him: “Did you pray for anything or ask for it?” He said: Yes, I used to say: O Allaah, whatever punishment You would give me in the Hereafter, bring it forward in this world. The Messenger of Allaah (S) said: “Subhaan Allaah! You cannot bear it. Why didn’t you say, O Allaah, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and save us from the torment of the Fire?” Then he prayed to Allaah for him, and He healed him. Narrated by Muslim (2688).

5 – Du’aa’ against one’s family and wealth. In the hadeeth it says: “Do not pray against yourselves, do not pray against your children, and do not pray against your wealth, lest that coincide with an hour when Allaah is asked and He answers your prayers.” Narrated by Muslim (3009).

6 – Praying for the severing of family ties, such as praying against someone and asking that there be a rift between him and his wife or some of his relatives.

7 – Praying for a limitation of mercy, such as saying: O Allaah, send rain upon our land only, and so on.

8 – Failing to observe proper etiquette in making du’aa’ to Allaah, such as saying du’aa’ in a manner that is not appropriate. Al-Khattaabi said: It is not proper to say, O Lord of the dogs, or O Lord of the pigs and monkeys, even though all creatures are created by Him and He has complete power over all of them. Sha’n al-Du’aa’ (153).

What is appropriate when calling upon one’s Lord is to observe proper etiquette as much as possible and to avoid anything that is not befitting. The attitude should be one of humility and submission.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to praise his Lord a great deal in his du’aa’, to such an extent that it seemed that he could not praise Him enough. He said: “I seek refuge in You from You; I cannot praise You enough.”

9 – Relying on someone else in du’aa’. You see some people who do not call upon Allaah themselves on the basis that they are sinners, so they always ask others to make du’aa’ for them. Although this is permissible in general, there are some reservations concerning it. Hence one should make a great deal of du’aa’ and think positively, and think of the greatness of Allaah’s bounty and generosity, no matter how great one’s sin, for the mercy of Allaah will encompass him. If Allaah answers the prayers of the mushrikeen when they are in dire straits, then He is more likely to answer the prayers of the believers, despite their shortcomings.

A man came to Maalik ibn Dinar and said: I ask you by Allaah to pray for me, for I am in dire straits. He said: “Then ask of Him (yourself), for He answers the one who is in dire straits.” al-Jaami’ li Ahkaam il-Qur’aan (13/223).

10 – Despair and lack of certain faith of an answer to the du’aa’. Some people, when they are afflicted with a chronic disease, think that they cannot be cured and they give up du’aa’ and fail to turn to Allaah, and perhaps the shaytaan makes them think that there is no need for du’aa’.

This is one of the most serious mistakes, and it is ignorance of Allaah and His power and kindness, for Allaah is Able to do all things, and when He wills a thing He says to it “Be!” and it is.

When Zakariya (peace be upon him) was an old man and his wife was barren, he prayed for offspring: “O my Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation” [Aal ‘Imraan 3:38]. And Allaah answered his prayer: “Then the angels called him, while he was standing in prayer in Al-Mihraab (a praying place or a private room), (saying): “Allaah gives you glad tidings of Yahya (John)…” –Aal ‘Imraan 3:39]. So do not despair of the help of Allaah or think that the Mercy of Allaah is limited.

11 – Going to extremes in raising the voice, especially in the presence of loudspeakers. The voices of those who are making du’aa’ may be heard from afar, and this is a mistake and transgression, and it is a form of showing-off. It is better to raise the voice only so much as is needed for the worshippers to hear if they are saying Ameen behind you.

12 – Saying, “O Allaah, I am not asking You to change the decree, rather I am asking You to help me in dealing with it.” This is wrong because Allaah has prescribed for us to ask Him to change the decree, because every calamity that befalls a person is divinely decreed.

In a well known du’aa’ it says: “Protect me from the evil of that which You have decreed, for You decree and no decree is passed over You.” al-Bukhaari said: “Chapter on one who seeks refuge with Allaah from calamity and a bad fate, and the verse in which Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Say: I seek refuge with (Allaah), the Lord of the daybreak” [al-Falaq 113:1]. Then he mentioned the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Seek refuge with Allaah from hardship, calamity and a bad fate.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (7/215).

13 – Making du’aa’ al-Qunoot lengthy. Praying in a manner that does not befit what is sought, especially at times of calamity, because Qunoot at times of calamity is only prescribed to pray for some people or against others.

Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: The one who is praying Qunoot should say at such times the du’aa’ that is suited to that calamity. Al-Fataawa 22/217.

And he said: The Sunnah is to pray Qunoot at the time of calamity and to ask for what is appropriate for those people who are at war against the Muslims. Al-Fataawa, 21/155.

These are some of the mistakes that are made in du’aa’. We ask Allaah to guide us aright and to help us to do and say the right thing.

Assalamalikum wa rahmatulahi wa barakatu,

insha'allah this post finds you all in the best of health and iman. I know its been awhile since either of us wrote on here, Ive been having problems with my computer and we have both been busy studying for various things alhamdulillah. So on my other more frequented blog I posted a poll for my next memorisation, the people who visit my blog have voted for me to learn some salah duaa and I have started this blog as a reference and research blog to look into these details. Im currently reading a book called duaa, the weapon of the believer, which many people are probably familiar with (by Yasir Qadhi) masha'allah its a good book, repetitive so things stay in more masha'allah. I have read a few times about the things we must do before duaa and there are some bits about duaa in salah where I read that it can only be done at a certain time during salah and only specific things. So insha'allah I will put more research into this and let you all know my findings, either by a new blog or by adding to this. Either way... keep checking back insha'allah :D If anyone has anything to add or inform me of, or any links I might find helpful in this quest it would be much appreciated. JazakAllah khair.
