After 32 years as an addict, recovery is the most difficult, yet most satisfying thing I have even undertaken. Where there once was lies, hiding, jail, loss of love, destruction, now there is an enormous reconstruction project - where I once was a mere construct - I am learning who, and how I am.

I am at the dust on the snowflake at the tip of this iceberg; new to the language of recovery, I have far to go, however, this journey, on its worst day, is better than my best day as an active addict. The blessing is the community of AA fellowship that exists to further my sobriety, and of many, many others. I'm looking forward to the day when I can give to people what is being so freely and generously given to me.

NOTE: Researching alcohol and drug treatment centers is usually a difficult process. The very nature of the need for research is often in itself an emotionally charged experience. Despite this difficulty, one important fact must be recognized. In 2003 NIDA sponsored research teams determined that there were 120,000 preventable deaths directly related to alcoholism and substance abuse. This fact is compelling. It helps us to understand the gravity of the alcohol and drug situation. If you or someone you know is in need of treatment for a developing alcohol or drug problem call 877 415 HOPE today. ARC is committed to providing help for those who need it.

ARC Offers Effective Clinical Care & Onsite Medical Detoxification Services

ARC, located in the heart of Southern California, is a private drug treatment center providing comprehensive clinical care and onsite medical detoxification services for individuals needing alcohol and drug rehab including treatment for prescription drug addiction and substance abuse.

Our mission is to restore clients and their loved ones to a healthier, happier state of being. In order to accomplish this the ARC drug treatment center focuses on providing clinical support for the underlying issues that have contributed to the addictive process. We utilize onsite physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, licensed professionals, certified substance abuse counselors and experiential therapists so that each client can receive an array of alcohol and drug treatment services with the capability of addressing both their addiction issues and any co-occurring conditions that might hinder sustained addiction recovery. Additionally, the ARC family program helps loved ones understand the nature of complex addiction issues and begins the process of resolution and healing from the damage endured during active addiction.

Our treatment philosophy focuses on eliminating our client’s negative forms of self expression while nurturing and revitalizing their individual strengths. We create personalized treatment plans and provide a continuum of support beyond Primary Care through a continuity of residential services in Phase 2 (Continuing Care) and Phase 3 (Extended Care).

The ARC alcohol and drug treatment center is built upon the desire to help people. Our well-appointed facilities are designed to preserve client confidentiality and personal dignity during a difficult time. Beneath the California sunshine our healing surroundings encourage clients to shed their burdens in an atmosphere of physical vitality and spiritual rejuvenation. Our compound offers a comfortable setting in which sustained addiction recovery can begin while our year-round outdoor experiential programs help clients to regain a sense of excitement and enthusiasm for living. (For further descriptions of the center, see the facilities page)

We provide a full-spectrum of individual therapies that help each client to receive treatment in a way that works within the framework of their own belief systems and individual experiences.

Individual therapy is one cornerstone of the ARC treatment philosophy. Some of the methodologies utilized during daily individual sessions are:

Grief Therapy

Trauma Therapy

Somatic Therapy

Reflective Therapy

Analytical Therapy

Insight-Based Therapy

Reason-Based Therapy

Psychodynamic Therapy

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Phase 1 residential treatment incorporates individual therapy with education about alcohol and drug addiction. This level of care begins with an in-depth assessment that helps to determine what personalized treatment planning can be implemented to help each individual client with their individual issues. From this assessment a plan of action is initiated to achieve both short-term and long-term addiction recovery goals. If clients choose, they may participate in ongoing care with ARC in Phase 2 and Phase 3. In situations where time constraints or outside obligations prevent continuing residential treatment a strong aftercare plan is developed with the aid of the clients primary clinician. This plan secures placement in supportive aftercare services and helps clients overcome any unforeseen future challenges on their road to sustained recovery.

ARC is dedicated to providing a healing environment that takes into consideration all aspects of our client’s individual circumstances and experiences. For more information about our alcohol and drug treatment center call 877 415 HOPE for a free assessment and to have all your questions answered.

Effective Drug Rehabilitation with ARC Begins with a Phone Call

The treatment process with ARC begins prior to admission with a detailed telephonic assessment conducted by certified intake counselors. Information is gathered in the form of a admissions profile and is presented to the medical team and treatment begins once the client arrives at the center. Onsite medical detoxification is traditionally the first step in the ARC rehabilitation process. A full history and physical exam by our staff physicians determines the necessary medications that will be needed to ease withdrawal symptoms, if any are anticipated or present.

The clinical team, also apprised of the new client’s clinical history from the intake counselor, begins to formulate a personalized treatment plan focused on the immediate needs of the client. Once the medical detoxification procedures have been established a primary clinician is assigned who will begin to interact with the new client to lend support, empathy and to build trust in the developing clinical relationship.

Due to the variance in medical procedures based on the primary substance of choice fueling the need for drug rehabilitation to begin with, the clinical team implements “spot sessions” as the withdrawal process begins to exasperate feelings and emotions that have lain dormant during the majority of the addictive process. ARC provides all medical services with clinical continuity of care during the detox period, ensuring clients and their loved ones that successful completion of the detoxification program will take place.

Once comfortable detox has been concluded the primary clinician will begin to work more intently with the client and through doing so, develop a personalized treatment plan based on the individual circumstances that have led to the need for drug rehabilitation services.

The ARC multi-disciplinary team of licensed professionals, having already developed an interpersonal relationship with the client during the detox process will begin to coordinate treatment with the primary clinician. The focus of treatment is on assessing where each client is testing on the spectrum of abuse – addiction as well as the underlying issues contributing to the patterns of the addictive process. Successful drug rehabilitation at the center also incorporates addiction education, relapse prevention, experiential therapy, individual therapy and group therapy. These services are all thoughtfully combined with the result of an effective, personalized program of recovery.

Drug abuse and drug addiction both lead to the need for drug rehabilitation. However, at ARC treatment differs for the two. If you or someone you know is in need of treatment for drug abuse or drug addiction then call 877 415 HOPE to begin the process of recovery today. Our credentialed staff will assist you in finding the help you need and answer any questions you might have.

Drug Abuse vs. Drug Addiction

More often than not, drug rehab programs do not disseminate between drug abusing and drug addicted individuals when providing treatment. In most cases this is a contraindicated approach to treating the full spectrum of drug abuse – drug addiction. Successful drug treatment for an individual suffering from drug abuse should differ from treatment provided to an individual suffering from drug addiction. This is primarily because when a drug rehab program provides an individual who does not have an extensive history of addictive behaviors with the same treatment as an individual who is exhibiting issues of abuse, the ability for that individual to identify with the intense demoralizing experiences is compromised by a lack of personally relatable circumstances to draw from. Usually, the demoralizing experience of living with an addiction is the leverage a drug rehab program needs to present rigid lifestyle changes that although difficult to initially implement, over the course of time will help transform a person into a happier, healthier human being. Since most drug rehab programs rely on this personal acknowledgement of the negative circumstances resulting from alcohol and drug addiction, any apparent lack of these negative circumstances will create a rift in the treatment process for the drug abusing individual unable to relate their own experiences to the more intense experiences of the people about them.

This crack in the treatment can allow the drug abusing individual to separate themselves from their peers, the treatment staff, and the rigid lifestyle changes that are being presented as the solution to the addictive process. Ultimately, abuse issues are manifested in a mental obsession, followed by a series of compulsive behaviors. Because the abuse issues are centered first in the brain, the individual without identifiable experiences of reference and relationship will wind up relying on the same resource that led them into issues of abuse in the first place, their own mind.

So it is of the utmost importance that a drug rehab program not only accurately evaluate where an individual is testing on this spectrum of abuse vs. addiction but also that they provide treatment to individuals in consideration of their personal history and current circumstances. This patient, more comprehensive treatment approach offered by ARC enables each individual to be taught in their own unique way and nurtures the process of developing insight and awareness so that abstinence and recovery can be achieved and maintained.

This separation of abuse vs. addiction does not mean that one substance is harder or easier to recovery from than another. It simply means that a drug rehab program must identify the level of abuse or addiction that an individual is suffering from before proper and appropriate care for the individual can truly be provided in a meaningful and successful fashion.

ARC is committed to creating personalized treatment plans that identify where our clients are on the spectrum of abuse – addiction.

Examples of abuse and addiction issues we can help with are: marijuana abuse, marijuana addiction, meth abuse, meth addiction, crank abuse, crank addiction, crystal abuse, crystal addiction, ice abuse, ice addiction, cocaine abuse, cocaine addiction, crack abuse, crack addiction, opiate abuse, opiate addiction, heroin abuse, heroin addiction, soma abuse, soma addiction, klonopin abuse, klonopin addiction, xanax abuse, xanax addiction, valium abuse, valium addiction, percocet abuse, percocet addiction, vicodin abuse, vicodin addiction, benzodiazepine abuse, benzodiazepine addiction, barbiturate abuse, barbiturate addiction, methadone abuse and methadone addiction.

Choosing the right drug rehab, drug treatment center or alcohol abuse facility in California can be

Choosing the right drug rehab, drug treatment center or alcohol abuse facility in California can be a very daunting task. This is because in places like California there are numerous treatment options available. In fact there are areas in California like Los Angeles County where the density of treatment centers is so abundant that in that county alone there are almost 600 facilities available to the public.

Here is a breakdown of the number of treatment centers in and around the Southern California region:

In Santa Barbara, California there are about seventeen (17) drug and alcohol treatment facilities available to the public.

In West Los Angeles, California there are about twenty-one (21) drug and alcohol treatment facilities available to the public.

In Malibu, California there are about eleven (11) drug and alcohol treatment facilities available to the public.

In Newport Beach, California there are about forty-two (42) drug and alcohol treatment facilities available to the public.

In Pasadena, California there are about ninety-three (93) drug and alcohol treatment facilities available to the public.

In Carlsbad, California there are about seventeen (17) drug and alcohol treatment facilities available to the public.

In San Diego, California there are about sixty-eight (68) drug and alcohol treatment facilities available to the public.

For information about ratings in the aforementioned regions refer to the following website:

Treatment Center Ratings

In order to assist you in choosing the right drug rehab, drug treatment center or alcohol abuse facility in California here are some important principles about clinical treatment to understand:

Principles of Drug Abuse Treatment

When actually choosing a drug rehab, drug treatment center or alcohol abuse facility in California here are some important questions to ask the program representatives:

Step 1 “Choosing the Appropriate Type of Facility”

Residential drug treatment centers basically break down into three categories. These are:

Adolescent Facilities

Young Peoples Facilities

Adult Facilities

Each of these categories treats a certain age group. These are:

Adolescent Facilities- typically meet the needs of individuals ages 13-17.

Young Peoples Facilities- typically meet the needs of individuals ages 17-25.

Adult Facilities- typically meet the needs of individuals ages 18+.

So the first step in choosing the right drug treatment center is to determine which category of treatment you or your loved one falls into based on age.

Step 2 “Choosing the Appropriate Level of Care”

The different levels of care offered within the three types of facilities basically break down into 5 categories. These are:

Detoxification Services (Residential)

Primary Care Services (Residential)

Extended Care Services (Residential)

Partial Care Services (Non-Residential)

Outpatient Care Services (Non-Residential)

Each of these levels of care offer different types of support. Here is a basic description of each level of care:

Detoxification Services typically assist individuals in withdrawing from alcohol and/or drugs through the aid of medications prescribed by a physician. (NOTE: Detoxification Services are not usually considered a complete treatment for addiction. These services are specifically designed to help individuals establish a clean and sober baseline so that alcohol and/or addiction education and clinical treatment can be initiated; both which help to prevent the possibility of relapse in the future.)

Primary Care Services typically introduce educational concepts of alcohol and/or addiction recovery and provide different types of recovery-related activities including; individual counseling, individual therapy, group therapy and alumni support groups, all of which are designed to be supportive while creating awareness of the issues that have contributed to developing chemical dependency and/or substance abuse tendencies. (NOTE: Many centers offering primary care services also offer relationship counseling and/or a Family Program.)

Extended Care Services typically are residential but less structured than primary care services and usually serve individuals transitioning from Primary Care. These services represent a platform to further assist people who have limited life experiences or an extensive alcoholism and/or addiction history in living clean and sober while developing an independent daily routine. Extended Care Services include individual counseling, individual therapy, group therapy and alumni support groups. It’s often a place where individuals can learn basic life-skills while practicing recovery principles in a safe environment and still receive the clinical support needed to further a personal understanding of their own substance abuse and/or chemical dependency issues.

Partial Care Services typically are non-residential and usually represented by 2-5 hours of treatment related services per/day. Individuals in attendance have the opportunity to attend group therapy and receive limited individual counseling and/or individual therapy. Because this level of care is non-residential, people attending can embrace their free time by attending school or maintaining employment. This level of care represents a safe place for individuals to process some of the feelings and emotions that are coming up during day-to-day activities as they directly relate to their recovery process.

Outpatient Care Services are non-residential and allow individuals to shore-up an ample self-supporting daily routine (of school or work) with nightly groups and limited individual counseling and/or individual therapy. This level of care represents a safe place for people to process recovery-related feelings and emotions on an intimate group basis and typically serves to create a positive-peer group and sense of community away from the stressors of living clean and sober in early alcohol and/or addiction recovery.

So the second step in choosing the right drug treatment center is determining what level of care is most appropriate for you.

Step 3 “Choosing the Appropriate Treatment Services”

Once you have determined the type of facility your age makes you eligible for and once you have basically decided what level of care appears most appropriate, it is time to determine what type of treatment services you want the drug treatment center to offer. Treatment services offered in drug treatment centers basically break down into three categories. They are:

Medical Services

Clinical Services

12 Step Services

Medical Services typically encompass acute detoxification services, post-acute detoxification services and psychiatric services. (NOTE: Not all drug treatment centers offer medical services.)

Clinical Services typically encompass the types of clinical therapy offered during treatment. These include psychological evaluation, individual therapy, experiential therapy, group therapy, couples therapy and/or family programs. (NOTE: Not all drug treatment centers offer a full array of clinical services.)

12 Step Services typically encompass recovery related individual counseling, recovery groups, trigger identification and relapse prevention, 12 Step meeting attendance and education/introduction to a 12 Step Program. (NOTE: Most drug treatment centers offer 12 Step services.)

So step three is determining what sort of services you want the drug treatment center to offer. Some centers offer medical, clinical and 12 Step services while others may only offer limited clinical services and 12 Step services.

Step 4 “Deciding on Cost”

Now you should have a basic idea of the following:

The type of facility you want to attend (based on age)

The appropriate level of care (based on need)

The types of treatment services you want your ideal facility to offer (based on need)

In the United States in 2004 the least expensive treatment center was $0 for an indefinite stay. That center primarily focused on 12 Step Services and vocational activities. (In other words, clients worked to pay for their stay while attending daily 12 Step meetings) The most expensive drug treatment center in 2004 was located in Southern California and was $120,000 for a 2-week stay. This center primarily focused on exclusive medical treatments, psychiatric evaluations and psychologically supportive therapeutic measures.

An Important Fact:

A study conducted by the NIDA determined that 30-day treatment centers were approximately 30-35% successful in treating addictions. The same study found that if clients transitioned from primary care into some form of aftercare for 6 months or more that the success rates increased to 65-70%. (Success was defined by 5 years of continuous recovery) Aftercare for the purposes of this study was defined as: Extended care services, partial care services, outpatient care services or individual therapy.

So what does this mean?

It means that money won’t buy recovery. But the amount of money you spend may allow you or your loved one to receive treatment services that are more in line with their belief systems and historical experiences than perhaps say, a drug treatment center that only focuses on vocational activities. It also means that the longer you or your loved one can afford to stay in treatment, or if you can pay a certain amount for primary care services but still leave a reservoir of funds available for aftercare services the more likely it will be you or your loved one will achieve lasting recovery success.

Here are some helpful tips for deciding on the amount you want to spend for enrollment in a drug treatment center:

If you need detoxification services and primary care services then find a drug treatment center that offers detox as a component of primary care. This allows you to spend one amount and still cover both needs.

Leave yourself a reservoir of funds available for aftercare services once you conclude primary care. In other words, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. If the NIDA has determined that 6 months of various aftercare services will increase the likelihood of success, then be sure you have funds available to secure these future services.

Strong clinical services usually increase the cost of treatment. For example; a program that only offers 12 Step services is usually cheaper than a program that offers both 12 Step services and clinical services.

Be realistic. The best approach is to find a program that offers a multitude of services under one roof. This allows you to cover all your bases with one expenditure and prevents costly enrollment fees if you were to say, enroll in four different facilities to receive four levels of care.

Step 5 “Asking the Right Questions”

To protect yourself or your loved one take the time (Probably not more than 10 minutes) to ask a few very pertinent questions of the center you’re thinking of enrolling with. Even in a time of crisis, which is often the case when researching a drug treatment center, a few crucial questions may help you to secure your decision to enroll or to continue your research to find a better suited facility.

Remember to ask the drug treatment centers representative whether they meet the criteria you have already determined you may need.

For Example:

“Do you provide treatment for adults?”

“Do you offer primary care?”

“Do you provide medical, clinical and 12 Step services?”

If the representative answers these questions to your liking then here are some important additional questions to ask. (NOTE: Below each question is also the preferred answer.)

Question 1- May I have a copy of your daily schedule?

Answer: Yes

Question 2- Are you licensed by the State to provide drug and alcohol treatment?

Answer: Yes

Question 3- How many individual session’s will I (Or my loved one) receive per/week?

Answer: “The facility representative should say at least 4 per/week”

Question 4- Are those individual sessions conducted by a certified counselor or licensed therapist and related to addiction recovery or dual-diagnosis?

Answer: Yes

Question 5- What is the cost of your facility?

Answer: “The facility representative should state the cost”

Question 6- Does that cost cover all expenses?

Answer: Yes

Question 7- If a psychiatric evaluation is necessary, is that also included in the cost?

Answer: Yes

Question 8- Do you provide onsite medical detoxification services?

Answer: Yes

Question 9- Does a physician oversee the onsite detoxification services?

Answer: Yes

Question 10- Do nurses help with the hour-to-hour needs of each person needing onsite detoxification services?

Answer: Yes

Question 11- Do you provide 24 hour supervision of clients?

Answer: Yes

Question 12- Do you offer a Family Program for friends and/or loved ones?

Answer: Yes

If the representative answers all the previous questions satisfactorily then here are some questions that will amplify your understanding of the facility. Once you ask these questions you will have a comprehensive picture of the complete scope of services offered by the facility. (NOTE: These answers will vary from facility to facility)

Question 1- What sorts of individual clinical therapy do you offer?

Question 2- What sorts of groups do you offer?

Question 3- Do you offer daily or weekly outdoor activities? What sorts of activities do you offer?

Question 4- Do you offer experiential therapy? What sorts of experiential therapy do you offer?

Question 5- Do you offer spiritually based activities? Are they mandatory?

Question 6- Do you offer yoga, meditation or any holistic treatment?

Question 7- Do you offer individualized treatment?

Question 8- How do you individualize a person’s care?

Question 9- What if I or my loved one leaves treatment early? Do you offer refunds?

Question 10- Have you had any complaints filed against you? What was the basis for these complaints?

Question 11- Are you a Co-Ed facility?

Question 12- How many people do you treat at one time?

Question 13- What is your staff to client ratio?

Question 14- How many clients are assigned to each counselor/clinician?

Question 15- What are the living arrangements like? How many people are assigned to each room?

Question 16- Do you offer private counseling offices?

Question 17- Do you have space for people to have private time?

Question 18- Do you allow visitation?

Question 19- What makes your facility unique?

Question 20- What is the general age group currently being treated at your facility?

NOTE: These questions are not unrealistic to ask. Use your intuition wisely during this process. If you begin to feel the representative is telling you what you want to hear ask to have his/her statements put in writing. If the representative refuses, it is probably wise to continue your research and to find another facility.

Step 6 “The Red Flag Questions”

There are a few questions that you may ask that are considered “Red Flag Questions.” If a facility representative answers “yes” to these questions you have great cause to be alarmed. Below each question is an explanation of why a “yes” answer is alarming. These questions are:

Red Flag Question 1 - Do you have the cure for addiction?

Alarming Because: There is no documented cure to addiction.

Red Flag Question 2 - Can you guarantee my success?

Alarming Because: Only your actions can guarantee your success, once you leave the center the responsibility to make healthy choices lies with you.

Red Flag Question 3 - Are you the best drug treatment center?

Alarming Because: There are a multitude of great drug treatment centers and people are getting clean and sober in centers all across the United States. Of these quality centers none are better or worse than the other, and ethical facilities are cognizant of this fact and willing to be vocal about it.

Oxycodone derives its name from codeine, and is a highly addictive opioid analgesic medication. Oxycodone addiction is extremely dangerous and can result in fatality. ARC provides onsite medical detoxification services including the advanced medical protocols of Buprenorphine detox and Subutex detox. If you or someone you know is suffering from Oxycodone addiction call 877 415 HOPE today. Our credentialed staff will answer any questions you have and help you to find the recovery resources you need.

Oxycodone comes in several forms, all of which are highly addictive. A few of the Oxycodone based medications are:

OxyContin ®

Percocet

Percodan

Origin of Oxycodone Addiction

Oxycodone is an agonist opioid often referred to as “hillbilly heroin.” Opioids derive their name from the opium poppy (Papaver somniferum) which was first cultivated in 3400 BC in lower Mesopotamia. Ancient Sumerians, Babylonians and Egyptians smoked extracted seed pods from the plant for the pleasurable, peaceful feeling experienced through the entire body. The Sumerians referred to the poppy plant as “Hul Gil” which roughly translates to “Joy Plant”. Within a few decades cultivation and use of the plant spread to the Arabian Peninsula and soon reached India and China. Historic accounts refer to social problems stemming from addiction to the Joy Plant, but there is no conclusive evidence to describe any ancient addiction treatment approaches that might have been utilized by the cultures of the time.

Oxycodone was first synthesized in Germany in 1916 as a semi-synthetic opioid derived from the alkaloid thebaine. Up until this time most opium-derived drugs (morphine and heroin) had used the morphine or codeine alkaloids found in the opium poppy. Due to the addictive qualities of morphine and heroin, which had been mass produced by pharmaceutical companies like Bayer, it was anticipated that thebaine-derived drug Oxycodone would retain the analgesic capability of morphine and heroin but not carry with it the high capacity for addiction and abuse. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Despite the subjective “high” reported by patients taking Oxycodone the medication still made its way out of Germany and into Western countries for medicinal use. In the face of growing reports indicating the drugs high risk of abuse new production techniques for Oxycodone rapidly boosted the number of people being prescribed the drug and problems resulting from Oxycodone addiction began to increase.

The Dangers of Oxycodone Addiction

As with all Opioids, Oxycodone can be fatal in high doses or when combined with other CNS depressants, such as alcohol. Although there is a growing public awareness regarding the number of documented fatalities resulting from Oxycodone addiction, this has done little to deter Oxycodone abusers from continuing to combine the drug with other CNS depressants. This is due largely in part to the powerful euphoric effects of the drug, which often overcomes rational thought and greatly increases the risks of overdose for those who are addicted. People addicted to Oxycodone often state that pursuit of the euphoria from the drug, coupled with the powerful withdrawal effects from its absence in their system, will take the place of all basic human requirements such as the need for food and water.

Acute Withdrawal Symptoms from Oxycodone Addiction

At ARC we provide onsite medical detoxification services for the withdrawal symptoms associated with Oxycodone addiction. We treat both acute and post-acute symptoms with medical attention and clinical support. Clients detox in a comfortable, dignified environment under the supervision and support of physicians, nurses and licensed professionals.

Our fundamental understanding of the nature of Oxycodone addiction and its subsequent withdrawal symptoms makes our treatment approach comprehensive and unique. Some of the acute symptoms associated with Oxycodone withdrawal are.

Craving

Diarrhea

Insomnia

Vomiting

Restlessness

Muscle and bone pain

Leg movements (“kicking”)

Cold flashes with goose bumps ("cold turkey")

Major withdrawal symptoms for Oxycodone addiction peak between 24 and 72 hours after the last dose of the drug and subside after about a week. However, some people show persistent post-acute withdrawal symptoms for many months.

Post-Acute Withdrawal Symptoms from Oxycodone Addiction

Craving cycles

Stress sensitivity

Sleep disturbances

Memory problems

Inability to think clearly

Physical coordination problems

Emotional fluctuations or emotional “numbness”

The primary challenge with post-acute withdrawal symptoms is in their accumulative affect. While traditional drug rehabs support clients experiencing post-acute withdrawal symptoms by imparting the spiritual philosophy that “this to shall pass” ARC focuses more on medically treating the physical post-acute symptoms and clinically supporting their psychological manifestations. This patient, comprehensive, medical and clinical coupling helps each client overcome Oxycodone addiction and to transition into the primary care portion of the program where a durable foundation in recovery can commence to be formed.

ARC Treatment for Oxycodone Addiction is Unique

During primary care the ARC treatment philosophy is designed to address the underlying causes and conditions that have contributed to the onset of Oxycodone addiction. Each client is assigned a primary clinician who develops a personalized treatment plan with specific objectives that support clients in identifying and achieving their short-term and long-term recovery goals.

In the day-to-day treatment curriculum individual therapy is the cornerstone of the treatment process. A variety of therapeutic approaches are implemented based on each client’s individual needs. Some of these are:

Grief Therapy

Trauma Therapy

Somatic Therapy

Reflective Therapy

Analytical Therapy

Insight-Based Therapy

Reason-Based Therapy

Psychodynamic Therapy

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

Education about the physiological impact of Oxycodone is also an important element in recovering from Oxycodone addiction. ARC provides educational groups which are designed to impart an inherent understanding of the physiological bi-products attributed to post-acute Oxycodone withdrawal. This helps clients to cope with some of the unique emotional characteristics of post-acute withdrawal with a growing sense of hope that they are not alone and that addiction recovery is possible. (A myriad of the ARC staff are in recovery from Oxycodone addiction and/or Oxycodone-based compounds and serve as empathetic, recovering role-models)

ARC offers an experiential therapy program and year-round outdoor recreational activities. These programs help clients alleviate stress and serves to promote a growing sense of personal enthusiasm for living Oxycodone free. Our regional weather and local natural resources (Pacific Ocean and Santa Monica Mountains) ensures enjoyment during these activities beneath the Southern California sun. All the ARC experiential programs are designed to meet the physical conditioning of each participant and take place weekly.

As clients progress through primary care they may choose to enroll in Phase 2 Continuing Care or Phase 3 Extended Care . These programs are designed to meet the ongoing and transitional needs of clients continuing their road to sustained Oxycodone addiction recovery. When circumstances or time constraints prevent participation in further residential care, an aftercare plan is developed for each client by their primary clinician. This helps clients to overcome unforeseen future challenges during a long-lasting recovery from Oxycodone addiction.

As a component of Primary Care, the ARC family program addresses any issues that have evolved from the addictive process. This program helps to prioritize the multitude of problems that have developed and begins the process of resolution and reconciliation for clients and their loved ones. It serves as a great starting point for a new chapter to unfold in the lives of all those who have been impacted by the devastation of Oxycodone addiction.

If you or someone you know is struggling with Oxycodone addiction call 877 415 HOPE today. Our credentialed staff will answer any additional questions you might have about achieving addiction recovery.

This past year the Gospel Rescue Ministries, http://www.grm.org, celebrated 100 years of transforming lives in Washington, DC. I volunteer far too few hours with these amazing people in their School of Tomorrow, where I teach ex-offenders how to double-click, drag-n-drop, and cut-n-paste. But most of all we teach them how to see themselves as God sees them. Everyone who stays through the year-long recovery program leaves trained, employed, housed, and most of all, supernaturally transformed. Lives are forever changed because hearts are forever changed.

This Wednesday, May 7th, GRM is having an Open House from 12:00 noon - 4:00PM and 6:00PM - 8:00PM.

alamat Nandan RT.01/RW.38 no. 4, Kelurahan Sariharjo, Kecamatan Ngaglik, Kabupaten Sleman

(sebelah selatan Monumen Yogya Kembali)
Yogyakarta 55581. Telp. (0274) 624 747

Tiap bulan orangtua/walinya wajib membayar biaya hidup minimal Rp 500.000.

Berkat Tuhan menyertai Anda sekalian.

Many people around the world today celebrate L. Ron Hubbard's birthday. As the founder of the Scientology religion, his legacy lives on as the Church of Scientology continues to grow.

His legacy in the technology of study continues to spread while it helps thousands through Applied Scholastics and other schools and institutions all across the world.

Hundreds of thousands have learned his views on drugs and the harmful effects these have on the body, and live drug free lives because of this. Through his works in drug rehabilitation and drug education, Narconon continues to help people get off drugs in one of the most successful drug rehabilitation systems available.

Because of his amazing ability in the field of writing, L. Ron Hubbard's books have been sold in the millions and still sell today at a massive rate. L. Ron Hubbard is the most translated author. Guiness World Record Awarded to L. Ron Hubbard.

There is no doubt that L. Ron Hubbard has changed the lives of millions, all in the name of love, increased ability, increased potential, freedom, caring, human rights and through his own self desire to help others.

L. Ron Hubbard will continue to be revered as one of the greatest men of recent times.

And best of all, myself personally, I celebrate L. Ron Hubbard's birthday because I have studied a good portion of his religious works and I have found so many truths contained within them that mean much more to me and my own life than I can even figure out how to describe. He has done a brilliant job at sorting out so many things about people, their emotions, their problems, their decisions, and how to handle these, as well as how to increase abilities and how to help someone regain their own viewpoint and desire to create and be cause over life. For that I am too grateful and so I share the occasion with many on this day to celebrate his birthday.

They believe that they can discontinue drug usage through their strong determination, without any professional help. But usually that does not happen. When an addict tries discontinuing the usage of a drug without professional aid, the results do not last long. After some time of discontinuing the drugs, an addict finds it hard to handle the cravings and withdrawal symptoms. For this reason, it is necessary to take professional help for quitting drugs.
