It's been a while since I wrote anything here, but I just have to share with the world that I'm now 17 years old, and I don't think it's any different than being 16. Just so you know.

And Dream Theater is the band at the moment, as it was last fall. Maybe soon Primordial will rock my socks once again before the winter comes and my mood changes towards doom metal? Let's hope so. That way I can warm up for the Opeth concert in Gothenburg with Mathias in December. That's going to be awesome if we are allowed by our folks to go. Drool.

And Schaefer has done it again with Sock the Vote, sock yarn in four colorways celebrating the women of the 2008 election. The last thing I need is more yarn! [Please don't tell me sock yarn doesn't count...much as I would like to believe that, my closet tells a different story.]

Nevertheless, I drool...

Damn. I didn't get a picture but later today, I saw him sleeping fully outstreched on his back with all four legs out. Looked so cute.

Five months ago I was learning to push a baby out of my vagina. No one ever tells you that "pushing" isn't as easy as it sounds. Sure, everyone is like, "you push like you have to poo." That still doesn't really help when it comes to having to make the baby INside of you go OUTside of you. Especially if you're gunshy about going no. 2 in public.

But I eventually learned. There was no way in hell I was going to be like that poor girl down the hall who was "pushing" for at least 4 hours and went through a couple midwives.

And here she is, five months later, learning to cluck her tongue. Saying "dada" when she SHOULD be taking a nap. Blowing very messy raspberries.

Last night I dreamed (Joe, aren't you proud that I wrote "dreamed" instead of "dreamt"?) that Julia grew two teeth, one on the bottom left and one on the top right. I also dreamed that Alton Brown was kissing me on the neck, but that's not going to happen anytime soon. Although, I always thought if I dreamed of any celebrity kissing my neck, it would be Daniel Craig or David Tennant or Colin Firth. Oh well.

Julia is now sitting here with me, watching me type. She didn't want to take a nap and instead kept rolling over to her tummy from which she can seemingly never roll back.

What did Julia learn this month besides how to say "dada" and roll over? Well, she's now very good at pinching arm skin, sticking her fingers up our noses, grabbing hair and yanking as if we were a mountain and she just HAD to get to the top. She's also working on the fake sneeze. I noticed this yesterday while we were waiting for daddy to get home. It's a cross between a sneeze and a raspberry. She makes it last just a LITTLE too long for it to be a convincing sneeze. But no doubt she'll learn soon, she is, after all, quite the drama queen.

And now she's trying desperately to hit the computer because, to her, that's what mommy is doing with her fingers. So that means it's time to go. Julia says, "Dadadadadada, gah! Dadadada, Thhhpppppp!" to you all.

Cycling with dee last Sunday. She needed it. *chuckle chuckle chuckle*

Nothing happened on Monday or Tuesday. Met up with Babe on Wednesday (the day the blardee @#@@#@ Ok, forget it), floated round the CDB area till 9ish and landed on the esplanade's rooftop. We had so much to catch up on and it was really great seeing her again, really really. Yes dear? :]

Was supposed to head over to slut's house on Friday but mom suddenly arranged a last minute family dinner (as usual). So, I AM SINCERELY SORRY MY DEAREST SLUT, MAKE IT UP TO YOU OK. Don't know how, maybe i'll take you to go burn some fats yah? *CACKLE!!* Ok, i can't really do that now cause i've got a HUGE SWELL in my throat. So, hahahaa. 

Ok, sad to say that that is all. School's starting in 2 weeks. secret YAY!

I realize this is Sam's blog, so I'll start by saying something nice: he's a cute kid. Still, if you're hanging around him and you happen to be a tiny animal, prepare to be repeatedly grabbed by the neck and covered in drool. And should any of your body parts happen to squeak when pressed, you will be utterly shocked at the number of jabs per second that Sam can deliver to that area. His appetite for high pitched squeals is insatiable.

I love the collectively drooling colors!(!!!!!!!) Imagine my delight when I found a screensaver of them droooooooling all over the screen. Would I run out to buy one of them, though? No, because the real thing doesn't, in fact, drool. Sad.

In an attempt to catch my journal up with my weekly photos, I'll be posting them here. It'll also help fill out my journal to make me feel like I've been doing something with this site.

This is my sister's (Kathy Martinez's) little girl Taliyah, my neice. She drools soo much. She is constantly drooling. She is ALWAYS wearing a bib, just so he clothes don't get SOAKED! Seriously. She is starting to learn to crawl.

Before I open this treasure chest - or Pandora’s Box - of insight into my up-and-down life, I shall merely scratch the surface with this introductory passage, which is exceedingly uninformative and dreary, and make a vow to soon produce a chapter of actual significance in friendly acknowledgement of the two fifteen year-old new wave punks who, confined to their basement, have probably bookmarked this literary drool before reading further than the Edna St. Vincent Millay title.

My fingertips seem to be failing me as I begin this third paragraph, no doubt ceasing in protest of being forced to spin this meaningless web of brain spew, and not a nice fat slice of lifestyle cake, thus I shall bid you farewell for this moment in time, and hope that I can honour (and remember) my vow to write again in some form of actual quality and point, so that I can serve those with the kindness and tolerance to read my yarns little pills of colour and imagination, that should be taken with a cup of tea and a happy mind.

Um... The Commuter would rather travel by train, thankyouverymuch.
