Idag har jag haft lite extra utkik på bilar när jag har vart ute och åkt. Jag söker nämligen en ny bil för att denna är så dyr i driftskostnad. Jag behöver en lite mindre bil som inte drar så mycket. Jag såg en bil jag tyckte väldigt mycket om; peugeot 308, jag vet dock inte hur mycket den drar eller så, det får jag ta reda på. Jag såg en annan också, en golf, som jag tyckte var snygg...får kolla upp den också. Det finns så mycket fina bilar, men min bil måste ha både det snygga och det smarta :P

Cada dia uma nova coisa louca é inventada por aí. E a empresa austríaca de bebidas energéticas Red Bull é quem dá o gás pra isso.

Tem corrida de avião, maluco que cruza o oceano só com asas incorporadas ao corpo, competição de "aviões" malucos, motos voadoras. Enfim, uma competição mais louca que a outra.

Hoje, para a alegria dos loucos por automobilismo e da geração "Velozes e Furiosos", a Reb Bull anunciou o primeiro campeonato mundial de drift.

Pra quem não conhece, é aquela habilidade (estilo? modalidade?) de dirigir o carro derrapando.

Disputado em etapa única, é mais uma atitude de uma empresa que resolveu apostar em novas fórmulas para agregar valor à sua marca.

E tem conseguido! Usando livremente o slogan: Red Bull dá asas para todos os esportistas.

PS: Este é apenas um post sobre esportes radicais, que elogia a postura de uma empresa. Seria ótimo se cada uma fizesse todo este esforço pelo esporte!

Och med hjälp av alla dessa duktiga personer som arbetar med olika typer av systemutveckling så är detta möjligt, man får det man önskar och produkten levereras ganska snabbt där den är både väl genomtänkt och riktigt utförd för att fungera bra.

New Yashio Aero

Yashio Factory has produced a new bodykit for the Nissan S15. I like from the back but the front just doesn't work for me. I feel that 'hole' in the middle is too small to fit a nice big intercooler.

It seems that the fitment is perfect, just as you can expect from a company like Yashio Factory. The rear qaurter panel is bold on, and makes the rear of the S15 much wider to fit those bigger rims.

Last Breat Bruises Collection

Sandra 2007-ben a Nemzetközi Divat Fesztivál első díját Ink Blot elnevezésű kollekciójával nyerte el, melynek darabjait egy gyakorta használt, asszociációkra épülő pszichológiai teszt, a Rorschach-teszt ihlette.

Nekem kiváltképp a Last Breathe Bruises kollekció színes darabjai, valamint a legutolsó képen látható felső nőtt nagyon a szívemhez.

Impressive Impreza

A well-rounded car that's now popping up in D1 Street Legal events as well as other sanctioned drift events around Japan. Ever since Watanabe Service invented the FR center differential for most subaru impreza models as well as some lancer evo models, more and more AWD vehicles are being turned into FR cars to compete in drifting events. Which is awesome cuz all you see are corollas and all the s-chassis nissans, as well as the JZ chassis Toyotas, which some aren't offered here in the US. Makes me sooooo envious of Japan. Although I should count my blessings because I've heard owning a car in Japan is uber expensive!! Anyway, back the subject, which is me wanting to own an old-chassis impreza and turning it into a drift and rally car. As selfish as I am, I dream of owning both a sedan and coupe. One for drift, one for rally, and both for daily driving! Sounds Awesome huh? Here are some pictures of a notable FR impreza tuner who regularly compete in drift competitions. The name's Garage Hirota; they were even featured in a Hot Version volume and in Best Motoring International! Although Keiichi and Kazama criticized the suspension set-up, it still drifted!

Finally decided to jump on the bandwagon n start my own blog. Well, actually - Two. More on that later.

This one, OGEK3 will be for my own personal use. I'm going to document the buildup and progression of my '96 EK3 Civic. In the 6mnths it's been on the road, it has been all over the place. Unfortunately i was just another statistic for the insurance companies when i crashed In my first hour of being insured. I'm putting it down to both lack of experience and quite possibly the worst tyres ever made. Budget tyres should be illegal, speeding doesn't kill - The lack of grip your remoulds have when you slam on the brakes is what will fuck the guy in the middle of the road up.

Anyway, since then, aside from a few setbacks caused by vandalism, it's been on the up and up. I bought a set of Sprint Hart CPRs, 195/50/15 Yokohama Parada Spec2s and some Spax RSX Coilovers. With the Coilovers, Wheels and Tyres in place, it's a completely different car. The handling is completely neutral in the dry, I've yet to experience understeer in anything but +5mms of standing water, in which case - Driving "hard" isn't particularly smart. Regardless, i have it on good authority that a rear EK9 ARB will increase the handling even more, I'll be looking into it soon.

As good as the handling may be, I've yet to find out the true potential of the current setup because of the church pew style benches that Honda like to call seats. Sitting on the gearstick during hard cornering is overrated.

The second blog i created, autoculture, is something i've wanted to do for some time. My tastes are extremely varied. Being the owner of a Honda, i have huge respect for those in the Japanese car scene doing their thing. Again, being the owner of a Honda - I hate some of the stereotypes that go with owning the little H badge. Understandably however, stereotypes don't manifest themselves from thin air. Hopefully when reading either OGEK3 or AutoCulture you'll see where my loyalities lie within the Japanese modifying "Scene".

Sorry for the longwinded opening speech. Enjoy what i hope will grow to be a popular community of enthusiasts sharing the same passion.

Drift clinic at Bukit Jalil

[gallery]I received an email from Tim last week, inviting me to a drift clinic on Sunday. He wanted to brush up his drifting skill with his Nissan Silvia S15 and also test his new wet type NOS.

This drift event is held by Kementrian Belia & Sukan and Maxxis Tires Malaysia. It's opened to all drifting enthusiasts every Sunday 10am-6pm at Bukit Jalil car park.
